3541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it time to invest in Polkadot? on: October 29, 2020, 12:44:21 AM
Recently, polkadot joined the top lists in crypto coin. But it was down around 8% from it's price as of today that urge me to buy some since the objective is clearly for connecting several chains. It's not appropriate to judge it easily, as we know polkadot is trying to impress us by introducing more developments on their projects.

And what I am interested the most was the co founder of Ethereum Gavin is also the founder of polkadot which makes me think that this project will also be taken seriously like how eth does.
Gavin has a great impact on this project and yes, Polkadot was able to land on the top list and looking on its all time high compare to its price today, I also believe that this is a cheap token so grab this now because they keep on growing as expected. If you believe on Polkadot's future then now is the right time to buy more while its cheap and you also have to look at the market status right now, we are heading up and Polkadot might join the up trend soon.
3542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What You Think About UNI coin Is It good to Hold It For Longterm perspective on: October 28, 2020, 10:11:52 PM
This can be a good token in the future but its hard to tell since the airdrop doesn’t change the system at all, it just created a hype. Maybe if the bull market begin, UNI can at least hit its ATH, but if you see big progress along the road then expect for UNI to become expensive as well. The DeFi project should not just depend on the hype in the market, they have to work to gain the trust of the public and considering the limited supply of UNI, there’s a chance.
3543  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How do you choose the best exchange for crypto trading? on: October 28, 2020, 09:34:55 PM
There are thousands of crypto-exchanges out. What characterstics and features are the most important to look for when selecting best exchange for trading.
Don’t stress yourself, the crypto exchange ranking says it all and the top choice is Binance which is very true and worth to try. If the token you are looking for is not available on Binance, then look for it on CMC and transfer that token or your profit to your best exchange so you can be more secured. I just follow the rules of trading especially in cryptomarket, don’t hold too much on exchanges that’s risky just do a buy and sell method.
3544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports icons and Covid19 complications on: October 28, 2020, 03:07:00 PM
Players are indeed taking a lot of risk just to play the game that they loved and of course the fans are also taking risk watching it live, but for now we have to paused for a while and think if its worth taking risk though players are indeed physically fit, but there's no assurance for this since Covid-19 is very dangerous. Even if the sports club resume their live events with the limited audience, I will still not watch live because my life is more important than anything else, and no worries since I can still watch then through online.
3545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Questions for our dear project promoters on: October 28, 2020, 02:38:19 PM
The project developer didn't force us to participate on their bounty program, its our choice and its our obligation to find out if the project has a future to grow or its just a scam project and we cannot blame the manager if the Developer didn't pay on time, this is the risk of being a bounty hunter.

If the project is legit, then let them work on their system until you get paid, this happened many times and the delay on payment is normal. Escrow on bounty program usually happened on BTC paid campaign which is more effective but I don't experience to participate on Altcoins bounty that is being escrowed, I think the managers don't want to handle such fund because the bounty is too much for them and a lot more risky for them.

3547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In-play or pre-match staking on: October 28, 2020, 01:46:58 PM
I did noticed predicting football is not easy, that is why betting company can not go bankrupted, people always stake and either gain or lose, but most people do lose. That is why we should only take betting for fun, and using only the funds that we can afford to lose to bet, and not also be addicted.

I will like you people to let us discuss about pre-match type of staking or in-play staking in football, which one did you prefer? Which one is more risky?
Both are risky, and it will depend on your research about the team and your strategy on betting. The house will always win because if you win the bet someone will lose the bet as well. Gambling is not easy at all same as the betting, and if you just want to have fun on betting then choose who has the highest bet and join them to at least have the peace of mind while watching the game. I do bet on pre-match staking, this is more exciting for me.
3548  Economy / Economics / Re: The pandemic did push the world towards a more digital age. on: October 27, 2020, 11:55:40 PM
This pandemic makes digital more efficient and effective, if all the positive that we have these days this is one of those. Cryptocurrency have to do better right now, and make a good impact in this market, its good that we finally have the chance to use cryptocurrency and to become more digital. Hoping for more businesses to support digital currency, this is the trend now and better to start the adoption.
3549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BTC stay above $13,000 line from now on? on: October 27, 2020, 10:34:05 PM
In the past 6 days Bitcoin price has went up and at most time passing the $13,000 line showing the highest price of this year. Will BTC stay around $13,000 line or will BTC reach another new high price before the end of the year?

Highest price of Bitcoin

The Latest Crypto Market Rally Pushes Bitcoin (BTC) Above $13,000

Don’t expect that much for Bitcoin to stay above this level, I mean we have a better chance for this one but because of volatility it made me doubt. We are close to reach the level of $14k this can be a good sign and all we have now is to hope for a more good news with because so we can stand above at least the price of $12k, not a bad price at all.
3550  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Different level of risk in crypto currency trading on: October 27, 2020, 09:44:25 PM
There is always risk involved in crypto, that's why you are seeing that kind of warnings. And there's risk aversion as well, so it's really up to us on how to manage it. So personally, I don't see that there are different though, risk is a risk. The big question is how you are going to mitigate the risk? Do you have plans?
Knowing how to deal with risk is one of the skills that you need in order for you to become a successful trader, and yes all the risk are the same but it increases the moment you decided to take more risk. Making plans and strategies can lessen that risk especially in trading cryptocurrency where volatility is very high. Don’t expect not to lose money instead prepare for it and have a back up plan always.
3551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Half bread is better than none on: October 27, 2020, 12:48:35 PM

most especially from new altcoins, Profit is Profit, either big or small.

I also see.many people who have had some benefit from altcoins are those who sold as profit is reach from the point of hodling. Even bounty reward have made some participants a good life and happiness because they sell early after distribution. Some altcoins reach to their peak at time of distribution.
Hunters always know the risk of selling early or the risk of selling too late, there’s no other way but to create a decisions that you wont regret later on. If you have tokens that you are still holding for a year or more now think again and know when you are going to sell your holdings. If there’s no progress at all then its hard to tell the future of those tokens and maybe they’ll die sooner or later.
3552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery is a poor man's tax on: October 27, 2020, 05:35:22 AM
Is government owned lottery a scummy way to tax the poor people?
Another way to collect money from a poor people, there's a lot of bettors on Lottery everyday in my country and this become a one of the major betting place.

I don't know if someone really win the money or our government is just using fake people so they can collect the award money which I think is possible to happen considering our corrupt government. I don't bet on lottery, its just like wasting of money and hoping for my entire life to win the jackpot, this is too impossible yet many people depend on this one seriously.
3553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Values of Bitcoin & Altcoin are correlated on: October 26, 2020, 11:14:01 PM
Bitcoin and altcoin have their own timeline. Sometimes, altcoins follows the trend of bitcoin and most of the time bitcoin pumps alone so its hard to say that they are correlated to each other. Although it happened many times, it still a theory and speculations. The values of cryptomarket will continuously grow overtime, buy now with good coins.
3554  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why You Should Trade Crypto With Leverage on: October 26, 2020, 09:25:21 PM
Leverage trading, also known as margin trading, is when a trading platform allows you to increase your capital through borrowed funds and leverage your trade.

Today we discuss why we think trading with leverage is a good idea, come check it out here: https://steemit.com/crypto/@brokaine/why-you-should-trade-crypto-with-leverage-in-south-africa
This is too risky and many loss their money out of their control in reality, Leveraging is only to those who have money and afford to lose money, a risk taker that can take that much. The article says the good side of Leveraging and of course, there should be the bad side and mostly trader are easily losing their money because of this Margin trading, i still recommend to trade on your own using your capital that you have and own your timeline.
3555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO may hit as low as $0.07 on: October 26, 2020, 02:09:32 PM
NEO may hit as low as $0.07

Looks like NEO may hit as low as $0.07 just like ARK coin. Time to sell NEO to get out of this market.
What is the reason ? You make speculations without giving reasons, which is unbelievable
Currently the price of NEO is $17
I’m also searching for his reason and fortunately I didn’t find anything and most of the comment here are positive about NEO so I don’t think $.07 will happen and if NEO hits that price better for the developer to abandon that project, which I also believe that it wont happen. NEO will go up again and make a new ATH, maybe NEO is just waiting for that moment, at right trend of the market.
3556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: luckygames problems on: October 26, 2020, 01:30:47 PM

This is a baseless accusation and no one can help you recover that not unless you post your proof here or else better luck next time. I’m not that familiar with luckygames and I’m shock to see this one but upon reading, it looks like this is just a trolling post, you can get back that money if you really have it at the first place, we can help only if there’s a proof so show it now.
3557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi really a threat to centralized finance? on: October 25, 2020, 10:23:21 PM
The you think defi a a threat to the future of centralized finance? What's your opinion?
No its not because there’s no big changes in the market right now despite of having the presence of DeFi and still CEX are being used by many traders and investors. If DeFi keeps on working as a hype project and very few are delivering good service then I think its hard for a DeFi to be on top and still people’s choice is CEX.
3558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 fastest crypto coins on: October 25, 2020, 09:46:13 PM
If there’s no traffic you can depend on that coin but sometimes if there’s a huge traffic in the market no matter how fast that coin is, you still have to wait to confirm your transactions. A faster way to transact is to maximize the fees so you don’t need to wait any longer, and yes ETH platform still running good despite of all those criticism with the fees.
3559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Just a Question... on: October 24, 2020, 11:58:41 PM
I haven't seen any Gamblig Platform who used Telegram for Promotions, most I know is that they use Discord.
Do you have any Idea why they don't have any Telegram Communities? and why does it seem they don't use this platform for their promotions?

I think the average gambling site avoids excessive spam on telegram...
I see discord is much cleaner than telegram. Telegram is very easy to penetrate scammer and does not have good filtering when compared to discord.
This is one of the reason why I hate telegram as well, there’s a lot of fake people on this platform and its good that most of the Gambling site don’t have this one or else they’ll suffer from the fake people. Discord is a great channel to communicate, actually some gambling site enables their chat room so it can also be the safest place to communicate to the admin.

First Bitcoin Mixer Penalized by FinCEN for Violating Anti-Money Laundering Laws

I am not really sure if this was first one. I know many more were taken down, but yes maybe their trial was not finished yet.  But in general, any central point of failure will be abused from Government. Mixers are centralised and easily to be taken down. This was known in 2012 or 2013 or whenever first mixers showed up. Only way to achieve anonymity is by permissions decentralised ledger.
Many stopped their operations due to this issues but this is the first time to hear a legal actions against a mixer. Well, Mixers is indeed against the AML because we don’t know the identity of the users and they can easily mixed their coins and leave no traces behind. I’m still proud that some mixers are still doing good right now, I just hope that they are not being used by the hackers and scammers.
