That is a real possibility. Moisture and the chemicals present at the dumping site would destroy the hard drive in a matter of months, if not days. The odds are stacked up against James Howells. First he needs to find the exact location of the hard drive, which is like searching for a needle in the haystack. And then the hard drive needs to be intact after all those years. IMO, he doesn't even have a one in million chance.

the authorities did seize $90 million from the alleged owner of btc-e last year, but the odds of that money being paid to btc-e or wex.nz customers is slim to none. the authorities have said all their money (including customer deposits) is tainted due to commingling with proceeds from ransomware, darknet markets, hacks, etc. i quickly took the ~55% refund from btc-e before wex.nz launched and ran. i'm still holding all those coins since 2017. that experience was a big lesson for me: not your keys, not your coins. damnn ho much money that btc-e got i think i have some altcoin there, i think the money is still exist but there conspiracy here i believe |

Benar mas, sejauh ini saya menganggap additional fee tersebut adalah untuk pengiriman ulang dari smart contract ke user (mungkin saya salah), karena dari interaksi Wallet User > Smart Contract > Wallet User ini membutuhkan fee. sedangkan untuk AMM akan lebih panjang kalau ga salah, User > amm > SC token > amm > user, mungkin ini penyebab makin tingginya fee pada jaringan ETH. ane dah gak bisa beli koin yang mahal kayak bitcoin dan eth walaupun kedua koin ini menurut saya bakalan naik terus kedepannya, sekarang ane ikut koin yang namanya Idena(DYOR) tapi menurut ane koin ini bakalan hype walaupun dev nya kurang promosi dan masih belum listing market besar terus kedua ane bakalan milih Cardano(DYOR Juga ) keknya harganya masih murah dan ada delegate staking jadi bisa nambah cuan kalau di hodl aja walapun dapetnya dikit dan termasuk altcoin yang bakal pump kalau ada altseason kek sekarang, so yeah this just my thought |

I've spent time in the past researching altcoins and trying to find what I thought was opportunities in vain. I get it we can make 10x- 100x and make millions by finding projects that won't dump their coins on exchanges the moment they get listed. Still, what have these new projects to offer? 99,9% of them nothing.
I'm serious less than 1 out of 100 projects have something to offer. We have 10,000 currently and only 20-30 of them will be relevant. Most projects do not have anything besides an ERC20 token and a few lines of Solidity code.
Basically, I'm treating altcoins as a way to add to my Bitcoin position and I'm not feeling well holding too many of them. I don't see them as having long-term value and certainly I didn't gamble with any DeFi. I bought some alts during April, bought some more during June, and sold a few weeks ago. I felt glad to increase my Bitcoin position but probably I'm not going to go bellow 90% BTC again and felt it was unnecessary risk.
Anyway, the post describes most of the essentials when doing research. In case of a fraudulent project, a red flag will probably appear after taking these steps.
100 percent agree with your sayin, actually theres dozen scam project that almost everyday pop up from airdrop and sorta inversting shi* and yeah most of it on ERC 20 other token. They usually say this project actually have impact to real life or somethin like that. Dont invest to people who DM you and share screenshot their Success from "A" company |
