is it safe to use the private key and wallet.dat for claiming?
My guess is that the process involves importing the private key into the Bitcore wallet or replacing the Bitcore wallet.dat with your Bitcoin wallet.dat. Even that would involve some kind of trust since you would be banking on the fact the Bitcore binaries are free of any malware that would send your private key(s) off to someone. Since the distribution is based on a snapshot, I would simply make sure all of your bitcoins are moved to a different address before utilizing the private key to make the claim. Then I would make sure never to use the old addresses again. I wouldn't take the wallet.dat route since that stores private keys that you haven't even used yet.

I prefer to trust this coin compare to those newbies launch icos, they have proven their worth in their main project Bitsend and I'm sure this one will also become a popular and usable cryptocurrency in the market, will follow this thread I hope there's also an airdrop.
It appears that they are only distributing coins to people who owned BTC at the time of the snapshot, from what I can tell. I guess that is kind of an airdrop.

Why code in 20 MB blocks if you're SegWit ready?
Unless this catches on in a big way, there will be plenty of room for some spam. However, I'm watching this coin anyway. I might as well claim my pittance for free. Unfortunately, on the time of the snapshot most of my BTC was tied up on POLO.

Well since the Minimum stake time is 1 hour I would say just combine all your inputs into one to create a quicker building weight, once staked I would recombine the balance again into a single input and wait for the stake, rinse & repeat.
It has been 18 hours now and the stake info icon in the lower right of the wallet( that's what I am calling it) still says estimated time for reward 1 hour. I have received no stake rewards at all and the stake value is still at 0.00 What am I doing wrong? You are doing nothing wrong. Your 50 coins are competing against over 570,000 other coins. With 50 coins, you can expect to get a block once every 11,000 blocks, which takes about 4 days. Don't pay attention to that statistic you get when you hover over the up arrow. It is consistently overly optimistic in many of these POW/POS clones. Oh, I forgot, you are still also competing against POW miners to get a block too, so it may take even longer.

Blocks have halved. What does the roadmap look like nukeless? Future plans?
I hope the dev team is working hard on something. So many altcoin projects get abandoned since there are so many hurdles to overcome. I know because just a couple of days ago, I tired to set up an environment to build Windows binaries from source using Bash. After hours building mxe, I tried to build another dependency and couldn't. I discovered that my antivirus decided to delete a couple of crucial files because it deemed them as a virus. I gave up trying. So I can't even get off of square one to create an altcoin.

Maybe the bounties were traded off exchange for a tad before it was even listed on YoBit ? seems a plausible scenario when someone thinks a coin isn't going to do well or get listed and just dump to make whatever scraps they can.
Well, at least they are holding out for 610 sats. It just seems rather paltry to me. I personally could bust that wall, and I am not a whale by any stretch of the imagination.

An 80,000 coin sell wall at 610 sats. Looks like the dev team wants to dump much of their pre-mine for lunch money. Pathetic. The dev team doesn't even have enough finesse to conceal that they are dumping. Another MJ coin that is going nowhere. Regret wasting my time with this bullshit. Sorry what ? This isn't a heap of crap ! I am not dumping my held coins, I have sent some bounties to the the ones who have helped out that did send me their address and the majority of Twitter Recipients. There are some Bounties & Twitter Campaign Bounties yet to be sent. Now do a little Math, 60K for Windows Wallet, 60K for Mac OS X Wallet *Pending*, 30K for Block Explorer and 10K Each for 4x Pools *ocminer Pending* The Signature Campaign for StonkaCoin is yet to start + they have been Reserved. And your talking about 80K...... Well, someone managed to put 80,000 coins together to put up a sell wall at 610 sats. Which is pretty amazing considering that I personally had someone dump almost 18,000 coins into my buy wall, today. Not including the premine, 98,000 coins haven't even been mined/minted yet. Well, whoever now has all these coins should consider bringing down their sell wall. Since the bids are not even up to 250 sats right now, I see no smart reason to put up such a hurdle.

There are so many people that are not pleased with him, ATM. If he tried to trash Bitcoin with a tweet, it would probably have the exact opposite effect and give BTC some needed publicity.

It must be a trick by the whales, hmmm CONSPIRACY!!
I'm not a whale. I'm a minnow. However, if you can refer any whales my way, I'd love to get paid to FUD.

At worst, they are a bunch of scammers that used a "hack" as a cover up for running a fractional reserve after some bad naked moves on the marginal exchange.
I think that you are engaged in a bunch of unfounded conspiracy theory speculation, here. You're probably right. I still have no idea why people would use them. I guess sheeple always go to where the most volume is, even if they're being led to the slaughter. Maybe they all think they can pull out in time. But we all know that simply planning on pulling out is a bad family planning strategy. Yes. There is risk to get involved in various exchanges, but so far, our system of price finding happens through exchanges, and until we transition to some other system, exchanges seem to be a necessary evil.... or at least part of our current world. Let's see. Maybe some day exchanges will become a thing of the past, but they are a thing of the present, so we need to live in reality rather than wishing that reality were something else... or act like reality is something else. I guess that I am still bitter from taking a haircut with Bitfinex. I suppose that I could try to get back on the horse again.

where is the evidence of some kind of "fraud?"
We have a difference of opinions with the whales on Bitfinex and the whales on Stamp... and the others are waiting to see which way we resolve.
I don't understand what the evidence of bitfinex fraud is, at the moment.
What happened last August certainly doesn't bode well for them. At best, their security was run by nincompoops, that allowed a "hacker" to steal umpteen private keys. At worst, they are a bunch of scammers that used a "hack" as a cover up for running a fractional reserve after some bad naked moves on the marginal exchange. I still have no idea why people would use them. I guess sheeple always go to where the most volume is, even if they're being led to the slaughter. Maybe they all think they can pull out in time. Spam everywhere. Really interesting to watch. For the sake of innovation keep on spamming. Thanks Jihan Wu & Roger Ver. Which one is interesting to watch? The video which the picture links to or the Blockchain.info data? You callin my transaction spam? HUH? ARE YAH, PUNK?!
Your transaction is probably the bacon and eggs that goes along with it. Or maybe the baked beans...

what the heck has the price so disparate at finex? (i haven't been on the forum or following news for a week or so...)
This is why. See below. This market is flat out fraud. $30 spread between Finex and Bitstamp. Since we all know Bitfinex is an insolvent exchange that trades against it's own customers and also steals their money, I'm guessing that spread is also propped up by non-existent money just like Gox. Why are people willing to put up a $2 million buy wall on Bitfinex but no other exchange to try and prop up price? Because Bitfinex probably isn't even using real money, just imaginary exchange digits. I've been saying BitFinex is the new Gox forever and here it is. There is no valid price of bitcoin as long as Bitfinex is the market maker. The current chart looks like shit and is forming a down channel and you got fraudsters on Bitfinex trying to manipulate it up with imaginary money that probably doesn't exist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tH2w6Oxx0kQ

wallet doesnt work on windows 10, can run but nothing network connect
There aren't any seed nodes hardcoded into code, so you will have to create a StonkaCoin.conf file and put in the following lines. addnode=151.80.136.178 addnode=94.23.216.214 addnode=101.165.225.41 addnode=46.105.101.81 addnode=94.195.249.61 addnode=75.130.162.248 addnode=93.115.61.93 addnode=195.14.219.165 addnode=91.207.74.75 addnode=87.98.145.132 addnode=91.207.74.53 addnode=5.230.142.175 addnode=45.58.48.22 addnode=185.117.22.239 addnode=176.115.107.129 addnode=2.216.73.249 addnode=73.153.190.252 addnode=101.255.24.14 addnode=176.115.104.253 Use notepad to create the file and save it in this folder c:\users\(yourusername)\appdata\roaming\StonkaCoin remember to save as type all files or it will save as a txt and be useless.

Unfortunately, I have no way of removing my $0.14 from Bitfinex. I'm not going to give them the KYC info required, since I have enough scammers calling me, telling me the feds are going to arrest me within 24 hours unless I call immediately. Also, too small to convert into BTC. They can have my dust; even though they don't even deserve that. Try to pump etc with those $0.14 then , york would be pleased a lot , it is his favorite coin I just checked my Bitfinex balance and I also have a little over 2700 sats in BTC as well. Wonder if that will help. Just "Do it!" every sat and cent counts Not even going to bother. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tH2w6Oxx0kQPerhaps we should play after Bitfinex's pending demise.
