3541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: July 09, 2021, 10:28:35 PM
Obviously, this fight would happen because there's no other fighter on that division that potentially to fight with Donaire and I guess you were right, Inoue is the perfect match for Donaire on this division.

Maybe we can rephrase your statement as it was turning out that Donaire is at the top of that weight class and division as you used the word "potentially" for Inoue.

It should be, Donaire is the perfect match for Inoue as the former is seeking revenge on his bitter loss against the latter. But for me, I like to see a Casimero vs Inoue first before the Donaire's revenge to sealed up those speculations that Casimero won't stand a chance against Inoue by any means. However, Casimero needs to deal first with Rigondeaux to have a ticket against Inoue.
3542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does it take for a game to "hook" people on: July 09, 2021, 10:14:08 PM
there will folks that will say that it's just for fun but hidden inside the aim to make money from it.

Don't say that to those gambling for fun people. They actually don't really aim to win as they always saying. They have the thing on their mind that it's always ok to lose since they afford it without realizing how much they are losing now in total because of affording to lose and gambling was just for fun mindset. Grin

There are even those fantasies that we have in our mind, betting with small amount and hitting the jackpot.

Actually, this is totally me, especially when playing slots.

That's why I always love those slots with lots of free spins. I've already managed to win over $200 with just a $0.2 bet several times thru free spins. Not a jackpot but a good reward out from a minimum bet.
3543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: signs of gambling addiction on: July 09, 2021, 10:04:27 PM
Is seeking a new strategy or thinking of betting while you are sleeping signs of addiction?

Not totally a sign of addiction but I consider that as a "usual" thing. I mean, it's common to think of that especially when we are into gambling.

I'm sometimes like that, thinking of doing some gambling even while at sleep or prior. It's not because I'm crazy or what but simply, gambling is already part of my regular activity just like some other things that I used on doing.

In general, being a gambling addict isn't bad after all as long as the person is responsible.
3544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 09, 2021, 12:17:32 AM
That's right, but on the other hand, I also understand why some fans thought the Suns will have an easy win in the series, CP3 has been doing pretty well and the rest of the gang, so on the paper, they are the better team, but as people said, it could be a long series, so let's watch and enjoy and cheer.

Contrary to that, Suns fans around me are not considering an easy win at this series even how good Chris Paul is. Most predictions are even Suns @6 or @7 so it means they recognizing the strength of Milwaukee Bucks even Giannis is not 100% and coming from an injury.

I'm also looking forward to a long series, Game 7, so that we can see more thrill, and whoever made it on acquiring the Larry O' Brien trophy, it will be priceless as both teams experience the hard way.

Tip-off will start in just around 30 minutes. Waiting for the game before going on a nap.
3545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fighting Game Betting on: July 08, 2021, 11:59:26 PM

As per some articles, if compared to other E-sports games, the number of people that betting on those games isn't that high. Also not as profitable as betting on League of Legends and DOTA 2.

You can refer to @carlfebz response although researching about the reputation of those sites should be on you. I'm not sure though if those sites are accepting cryptocurrencies so take a time looking at those or else, just try the fiat betting.
3546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The most profitable gambling strategies, what are they? on: July 08, 2021, 11:44:31 PM
In the short term, can you tell me what strategy managed to make you win over $200 over the course of the game?

Casino games such as roulettes, slots? Frankly speaking, NONE.

I managed to win over $200 in a single session lots of times but that was just luck. All I did was to play on those slots featuring a good bonus and lots of free spins using the minimum bet.

If you are talking about sports betting, it depends on the odds I choose and of course, how much money I'm putting into it. There's no fixed target money as long as I maintain my winnings streak no matter what.
3547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does it take for a game to "hook" people on: July 08, 2021, 11:32:39 PM
However, for casino games, it would seem that these factors are not really the most important ones. You can see games with very basic graphics and design, simple in the options for the player and not that engaging yet they do "hook" people in them.

It's because in gambling-type of games, what matters most is the site's approach to its users as we are talking about their "money" here. The site layout is a must but it doesn't need to be fully applied with a hardcore layout but if considered, it's another +.

If I remember it right, there's a thread here before asking the community what they looked at the casinos.

Only a few answers about the design and layout. Mostly, how the site is keeping in touch with their users.

3549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You got a pifzer ? Then you can be eligible for lottery in Poland. on: July 05, 2021, 11:27:21 PM
Insane how Poland didn't get a good number of people vaccinated yet, even after releasing these lotteries. Their government is doing a great job but citizens seem to be non co-operative, that is why many people die due to corona because of lack of self-protection. Hope that their citizens will understand the concerns and start getting vaccinated quickly.

I think it's just recently when they released the idea of having a lottery. Others might change their views about the vaccine with these offers. But as I mentioned, the Ohio lottery seems not successful although we need official news or source about this.

Let's give them months at least if the Poland government will really encourage their citizens there to undergo vaccine. I've just read that they were struct badly with the pandemic so the fear is always there if the vaccine is really safe as they feel it was rushed.
3550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Big companies finally had enough of the excessive tax on: July 05, 2021, 11:12:14 PM
The government is taking this as an opportunity to increase the tax and the problem is that they will be using the pandemic as an excuse to increase the tax

If the country is really got heavily affected by the pandemic, it's just reasonable to increase tax on some performing industries amid the pandemic. Gambling is no doubt one of the top-performing industries so to consider them adding some tax to them just makes sense.

However, it's not just about the increase but that 20% tax is to encourage other gamblers to gamble as for sure if the casino operations will face a much higher tax than usual, they might pass some fees increase on their bettors.

In the long run, let's see if this planned of government is really effective to reduce the gambling activity in their country.
3551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Million dollar win on $15 parlay whoa on: July 05, 2021, 10:50:05 PM
I wonder how much he has spent so far on betting? Such details are never mentioned in the media.

I doubt the guy was already in millions of losses since he does gambling. However, who knows if before, he's a high roller or a whale but still losing millions overall will take a long period of time for average gamblers.

That million winnings should be enough to cover all of his losses.

I am curious whether anyone else in the world placed an individual bet for Harris English to win the Travelers Championship for +3,500 and Nelly Korda to win the KPMG Women's PGA Championship at +1,400, i will not certainly think about making one  Cheesy.

Take note, he was sure about placing a bet for Nelly Korda despite the odds. But not sure about Harris English so that he considered it the risk on his parlay leg. That's how great he is taking the risk and I think he always do that since then.
3552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: July 05, 2021, 10:39:13 PM

The real fact, Inoue still has the upper hand against Donaire if they will meet for the 2nd time.

Inoue knows already some of the adjustments and preparations he should make once he deal with Donaire again. And coming from winning against Donaire on their first meeting, he will surely be comfortable to fight with not much pressure since he will think that he beat the guy already.

No official news yet but I like them to have a rematch to finally seal the deal.
3553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a gambler? on: July 05, 2021, 10:25:32 PM
I believe most people just discuss gambling to fulfill their signature requirement, sadly! I believe most of them don't even gamble, and some of them gamble with some small amounts, like with rains/faucets/giveaways... they would probably withdraw that too, but it's under minimum! Smiley

I'm a gambler for almost 2 decades, in and outside the cyber world. But for me, it's not a requirement to be a gambler in real life just to fulfill the user's signature requirement. What if they really have knowledge about the topic. If they follow the rules of the campaign properly, I don't see any problem with that.

The topic was subjective. If the users are doing great on their posting, we shouldn't bother to think if they are gamblers or not. Why should we care about their respective activity if, on the other hand, their response is healthy? They are free to share their knowledge about a certain game or sports, of course as long it was constructive.

We can determine if a certain posts are sh*t or not. Even back before, spam is the problem here in the community so even reporting the post isn't effective as others think, it somehow minimizes the problem. If we have complaints about the user, I'm sure their respective campaign manager is open to any concerns. Just give them a DM.
3554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You got a pifzer ? Then you can be eligible for lottery in Poland. on: July 05, 2021, 10:10:05 PM

No idea of the vaccine status in Poland but is Pfizer the only vaccine brand there? If not, how those with other vaccine brands can participate in the lottery?

That lottery or something benefits aren't new to encouraged people to undergo vaccines.

Moving forward, I was wondering the status of the lottery on the Ohio, as reading the article, "Ohio recently reported difficulties in increasing vaccination rates via a lottery scheme. The state's vaccine lottery subsequently came to an end."

It's not effective there so I'm thinking, I hope the same offer on our country. If that kind of offer will be given here, there's no question that it will encourage people here even for whatever vaccine brands. Smiley
3555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 05, 2021, 09:52:02 PM
Even with all this messed manny is facing, I would still be 100% in support of him to win the fight, as a real fan, I would never leave him in times of trouble, and he maybe have a problem in politics, but that's out of the sports, let him handle that separately. If all of that would really affect him, then let's just see during the actual fight to know who is wrong or right.

What you read about people taking politics as a concern is because they care for Pacquiao. It doesn't mean we or they are leaving Pacquiao behind. There is no wrong or right statement about that for let's say Manny will win despite those issues he faces.

I'm with him 100% to win the fight but the issue he is facing is very hot and sensitive and it can really affect his mental condition during practice as that issue is different compare to those problems before. He is surely running for the highest post in the upcoming election next year and he really aims for that. Another one, he leaves the Senate hanging after he presented the alleged corruption evidence. He should do that after the fight so no schedule will be interrupted. The Senate can't open an investigation if the author is not present.

Like I said, on the other hand, Spence Jr is training without distractions since the fight was announced. Even how we are 100% supporting Manny in the fight, I will even put a bet on him as the odds are really attractive, we should always take note that Spence Jr is not a joke.
3556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto-Casinos and KYC on: July 05, 2021, 09:35:38 PM
~snipped~
I don't think so, normally I'd also choose the option with no KYC verification, but in case you receive bounties and large bonuses from the casino, which helped you to gain a lot of profit - I think that's the action one should be willing to take, especially if this request was indicated in the ToS, that's all I'm saying.

Got the picture as even without reading the TOS of that bonus, it's expected that for every "BIG WINNINGS", there might be a possible request for a KYC verification. However, in most cases, even a user already complied with the KYC just to get those winnings, there's still a problem later on.

As for the post I have quoted from you "why people are angry or skeptical about these KYC" because the process will not end there. The site might probably tell that user of another violation of the terms and the next thing that will happen, you should already know.
3557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 05, 2021, 09:24:36 PM
With an injured Gianni who leads his team on offense and defense? I wonder if they can last until game 7 though? Sun's completely dominate all the powerhouse team on West which is stronger to incomplete Bucks.

I think you weren't able to follow how the Milwaukee Bucks adjust when Giannis got injured. His teammates' step up and their offense quite become unpredictable since there are lots of options to make an offense unlike when Giannis is there wherein his moves were predictable but it's just that hard to defend.

Going back in a much harder series against the Brooklyn Nets, you won't see Holiday, Lopez, and the others having consistently good numbers. The offense was purely on Giannis and Middleton only at most games.

I'm not really considering the absence of Giannis as a disadvantage for them.  As of now, I didn't really know who has the upper hand on the series. I will just support my bet though regardless of the team that I will pick on per game basis.
3558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 05, 2021, 09:14:17 PM
Can't wait to see how those trades will work from those different teams who acquired new players and stars to their squads!

Just to mention a few notable signs that happened this off-season; actor and rookie, Andre Paras to Blackwater, Calvin Abueva to Magnolia, Christian Standhardinger to Ginebra, Gregg Slaughter to Northport, CJ Perez to SMB, etc.

It's been a long period of just resting and few practices that these players do so time now for the real action.

We can now see the answer of "who wins the trades"
3559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does on-line compete with the VIP experience on: July 03, 2021, 12:33:43 PM
Online casinos are more focused on providing the players with virtual benefits such as bonuses while physical casinos are more focused on providing the player with exclusive physical experience. There is no feeling like watching the roulette spin in a real casino and no matter how realistic the online ones get, they cannot get close to that experience.

And that would end the discussion. It's obvious that we shouldn't think of the idea that the same VIP treatment on land-based casinos should also be the same on online casinos. They are running in a different environment and the purpose is also different.

I able to enter a casino before and just stepping on the door, it's already a different experience since it's not a thing that I can do regularly.

I'm totally fine with what online casinos give to their players. I never think even for an inch that it should be the same on how VIPs are treated on land-based casinos.
3560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto-Casinos and KYC on: July 03, 2021, 12:20:19 PM
On the other hand, I don't understand why everyone is so angry about these verifications, it's not like the casino will expose your data to the media,

It's because it's not how crypto-gambling sites should be. It's totally different from other crypto platforms like crypto exchanges. Gamblers shift into crypto gambling because of the advantages of using crypto. Gambling sites should not be mandated just like the crypto exchanges.

KYC shouldn't be a necessary requirement when we want to play on crypto-gambling sites. Remember that there are lots of gambling sites and on average, we do gamble to at least more than 5 of them.

Will you comply with KYC at all sites you are using if they will ask you to do it even you are just a casual gambler or small bettor?
