3541  Other / Off-topic / Re: 3D Printed Gun on: October 21, 2014, 06:35:26 PM
As for getting bullet's passed custom's, piss easy, 3d print the casing and bullet, then fill casing with gunpowder, and voila, undetectable bullet.. you think the bullet wont kill, but if this was a plane, yes, it can. The plastic projectile is in it's feild.. dont point it at target, point it at window.

Myth busted, TWICE.

http://mythbustersresults.com/episode10
http://mythbustersresults.com/episode38

Why would you go to all the trouble to 3D print a gun, 3D print a single round of ammo, that won't even be effective, when you can 3D print a fucking bomb (in the shape of a common object) that will actually work?
3542  Other / Off-topic / Re: 3D Printed Gun on: October 21, 2014, 08:17:59 AM
Talking about advancement of technology. Maybe one day, a gun made from a 3D printer can be use as a real gun. hahaha. Now, isn't that something?

https://ph.news.yahoo.com/japan-man-jailed-making-guns-3d-printer-072315670.html
They can be used. Search on youtube, these guys were able to make a 3D printed (semi or automatic)gun and shoot several times before it fell apart. Basically, enough to kill somebody and then dispose of the weapon neatly.

However I never expected a japanese person to do it.

He's a dead man, and needs to be exfiled. God this makes me angry.

1) Guns do not fire potentially lethal yet undetectable bullets. If someone gets a 3D printed gun past security, then where are they going to get the ammo from? Disarming a cop or security guard like a ninja and praying the ammo is compatible? Why not just use their fucking gun then? And if you don't get ammo, you're not going to succeed at hijacking a plane with a empty gun.
2) Japan law enforcement is well known for its total disregard of human rights. Torture and coerced suicide of innocents, whatever it takes to "get justice".
3) This guy was smart enough to publish a video online detailing the process on the light web. Why would he knowingly, spectacularly incriminate himself?
4) The ban on effective self-defense in Japan is indefensible. 1 defenseless victim of a violent felony there is one too many, and there are far more than that.

Merkur DE cheapest model at the time
Derby Extra super stainless
Barbasol soothing aloe beard buster (seemingly with the least crap in it of any affordable shave foam)

Never often enough, I want noncicatricial alopecia universalis or to get caught in a meteor shower.

3547  Economy / Economics / Re: why do people agree to pay taxes? on: October 20, 2014, 02:44:04 AM
We don't agree to pay taxes. We pay them because we would go to jail if we didn't.

And we have to pay taxes because the majority of voters are ignorant and just keep asking for more government intervention.
I would disagree with this. The government provides a certain amount of services to it's citizens and as a result citizens need to pay for these services via taxes. If you do not pay taxes then you are essentially stealing. It is not a perfect system however it is generally what is used throughout the world.

so the government sells you services at the point of a gun, is that how it works?
its not like you can refuse to buy the services.
The services that are provided by the government are necessary for society to continue in a civilized manner. Without the services the government provides there would be ciaos and it would generally be unsafe for citizens

Nope. Chaos is not equal to anarchy. We are effectively in a state of chaos now, where if you're in government, you can murder and otherwise violate the rights of whoever you want under color of law, and not legitimately fear any real consequences (civil judgements come out of taxpayers' pockets, not perpetrators).

3549  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Angry threat from BitStamp. Put myself in danger or they'll steel my money. on: October 18, 2014, 07:49:43 PM
They can't change their terms unilaterally and seize your coins - that's outright theft.   Angry
The terms of almost every business is that the business can change the terms by providing your notice of the change and your continued use of their service is acceptance of the change in terms.

The only recourse the OP has is it withdraw his money from BitStamp and trade "locally"

Thought OP said the terms changed so he can't even do that.

Most probably an alt account of OP, don't be stupid, if you're going to deal with this guy use escrow.

Wrong. I referred http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewgpg.php?nick=SwedFTP to this topic and I saw his screenshot series.

The writing above the sword needs to be translated. It might be a signature or title. Blue & white vases vary widely in price.
