3541  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to advertise cryptocurrency exchange platform? on: November 11, 2020, 09:56:35 AM
3. Buy an ad slot in Etherscan.io (IIRC it costs around 1500$/7 days), Coinmarketcap, or some other big crypto site.

Do you think that buying slots on this kind big websites is a good idea? Maybe much better will be spend this money on ads at Social networks?
[/quote]

Do you think there's more traffic you can get on social media? Since you need to target those crypto users before gaining some good results and provably the one you can see the ads there are not much on crypto. So best try to advertise first on big crypto sites like etherscan or maybe coinmarketcap since provably you will get a traffic to the real crypto user guys out there.

~snip~

Dont make out some excuses just because you had those funds locked yet multi-accounting is the most common rules that gambling houses do prohibit on and they do have indeed  the right to block you since
you had committed violations which is against their rules where its understandable that they can confiscate funds and what the hell on making up 30 accounts? if you are really serious on excluding yourself or not to
play gambling then you do have your own free will and i cant see any obligations for roobet to do so since its your decision that make you out those 30 accounts and depositing and playing them.
I just actually laugh on the thing that you've been complaining on here.

That's the reaction of people who got troubled for their own doings and blame it to the site, but to be honest this issue doesn't needed to raised here since it could be done privately if they ask the support politely about the situation. And but seems he want to create a commotion that's why he's posting this stuff here to gain sympathy to the people here.
3543  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: My Plan if ever happens again ATH on: November 10, 2020, 01:01:53 PM

3544  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is doing Pump & Dump before the US Election results are finalized on: November 10, 2020, 11:58:45 AM
Surprise to the downside is not anything I've heard or read elsewhere, hence the surprise part I guess however I did just hear a bearish take just now.   Obviously theres always a full scale of probabilities and we're all aware of the bias and the current news is basically known/resolved at this point within the price.

So heres a quote mentioning $5,800 on possible downside https://youtu.be/YWcyiWY022o?t=6302
Somebody I've followed for years and trades all markets etc.  or I'd not post it especially

13800 break to 9400 support leading to possible 5800 though improbable.   I only caught the end of the vid just now but I'll go back and watch the long form, thought I'd post on the one bearish thread still standing for your benefit before I lose the link.

Im not negative on BTC overall but I do believe volatility is out of control and not attributable to any one factor at this point or especially reversible by alteration of political heads or whatever, we will have sharp turns and as a trade I'd like to realise or at least avoid being the wrong side of it if feasible.

That would make a nice Christmas present. Let's hope your guide is right. Looking where Bitcoin is priced now, I regret not being more reckless when it was priced at $5,800 mere months ago.

Who would know that we will come unto this current situation? if many would know the future for sure many of us bought when the price got more cheaper but as always the human mindset which been afraid for some  certain short comes on the market make us worried that's why we doubt to buy when the market is bargaining some coins. But we can still react and buy at this price  since there are still  chance that we can earn.
3545  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io Relaunch on: November 09, 2020, 11:17:15 PM

Thanks

As stated in the original post, 100% of site profit will be used for refunds. I won't make s single sat until all investors are refunded in full

The question is who will play if your website is untrustworthy  . Thats the hard thing you need to get back the trust of investors and trust from your own users . You need to gain the trust of players first before you are able to refund the amount lost by investors and it takes more time and effort and explanations.

If they market there Casino outside in the forum provably they will get a players there but that's a lot of effort to do since even by here there's no user will promote them and give them a good feedback so in terms of marketing their site for sure they will spend more money just to get a traffic.

Here I doubt they will get players since they already tag as a bad site to try by the gamblers.
3546  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io Relaunch (uncensored betking-scam thread) on: November 09, 2020, 09:44:40 PM
Just saying-
Betking had partnership with bitsler which is so far a trusted gambling site and had refund some amounts through that partnership. This statement doesn’t necessarily means I'm vouching anyone.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5241045.0

i've heard this partnership before but wouldn't that be a problem for bitsler to have partnership before from a scammer? also i looked at the thread and i think the betking is really deleting some post on the thread.

I think there's no partnership made and it's just a generous act and marketing strategy for bitsler to be known more for what action they did. But this act has been taken advantage by the betking owner and he think that users here settled the issue and forgot how wrecked he is. Much better not to trust that site anymore and we should avoid it.

3548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Risks Of Bitcoin Going To Zero Has Gotten More Lower Than Ever on: November 09, 2020, 10:10:08 AM
Renowned fund manager Bill Miller told CNBC on Friday "Bitcoin's supply is growing at around 2.5% a year, and the demand is growing faster than that and there's going to be a fixed number of them" He also said that the risks of the currency going to zero are "lower than they've ever been before". Truth be told, in as much as bitcoin is volatile (like its been jumping around in the past few hours), what he said is really true. Bitcoin grows on a daily basis. Investors come in on daily basis. Look at PayPal, look at square, look at JP Morgan. I mean these are big. One of things Bill Miller said which I've always told people is this "I think every major bank, every major investment bank, every major high net worth firm is going to eventually have some exposure to bitcoin or what's like it, which is gold or some kind of commodities"

See here

To much overthinking about the situation which may lead you to more worries about some certain stuffs on bitcoins  but to be honest as other people said here this scenario for Bitcoin is close to impossible since it is known already and Bitcoin and cryptocurrency is billion dollar industry which for sure many people as well government think about good adoption since for sure it can possibly contribute to the economy if certain legal matters will implemented and huge adoption will came.
3549  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - $1,000 Daily Race! 30% Rakeback! Advanced Dice Game🎲 2.000 Bets/s⚡ on: November 08, 2020, 09:58:31 PM
I have seen literally hundreds of people who lost money while gambling on dice game complain about "10 losses in a row!!" like that is something impossible. They calculated what are the odds and realized that even though it is small, there is a chance that happens and they still went with "how could something so rare could happen to me!! this casino must be rigged!!" and started scam accusations.

This didn't happened just one place neither, it happened all around crypto gambling world as well. Now think of people who can't comprehend that ever bet is individual and you have a chance to not only lose 10 in a row at %50 win chance, but you can lose even 20 or 30 as well, to suddenly realize that when you pay small fee, you are not getting your money any time soon. They will blame the website for not sending it quick enough even though they are the ones who picked low fee.

Those people are crazy looking to be blame for the action they made maybe this people are not fit to gamble since they cannot accept the consequences on the actions they made or the certain scenarios that's not favor unto them and if we see this guy's posting a blame on a site then better to correct them so that they will learn some lesson about how those things occur and to prove that they are wrong if they spit a bad word on the casino.
3550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did anyone try to "gamble" with ponzi scheme crypto scam services? on: November 08, 2020, 02:41:59 PM
I think I do not need to explain what I mean by ponzi crypto scam. Every week I see at least ten new ponzi scheme scams.

They often offer something like 100% interest per 24h (or something similar). They commonly run for quite a few weeks (or months sometimes) before "they go scam" publicly. The obvious idea how to exploit them is to invest something small at the first day, withdraw it as fast as possible and repeat just with the interests from the previous bet (and of course take some money away from every successful round).

Has anyone tried that? Have you been successful? Is this kind of gambling popular/common. Has it name?

If your asking about that here then provably there are no users here are still risking theirselves on investing/gambling on Ponzi scheme platforms since many are aware on what will be the ending of the game and the only winner of that are the scammers who operates the said platform. But you can find those people who's trying their luck on social media since I still saw people keep asking a details about those scam platforms around.

And if you want to gamble on it better save your money and find another things to invest since Ponzi scheme cannot bring better life unto us.
3551  Economy / Economics / Re: Not enough Corona Virus Vaccine until 2024, at earliest on: November 08, 2020, 01:28:11 PM
Still, there has no vaccine for coronavirus and we are living with fear. The economic growth is not satisfactory. We don't know when the vaccine will be created for us to apply, still, it is on trial. So, it can not be said particularly that the vaccine will come today or tomorrow or next week or next month or year. We are expecting to come soon shortly.
I don't think we're leaving in fear right now because jobs continue again and many people are going back to their business. The only difference is some of them are working from home and having online classes. People want to live and they shouldn't be fear on COVID-19, they need money to survive. The vaccine is still not yet guaranteed if it has complete trials, there are still risk to it.

But I'm still hoping that they manage to create a COVID-10 vaccine so the pandemic will stop now.
People are mostly going outside from home for ensuing their daily needs for survival. Some of them don't have enough money then they are going to income to survive. Students are remaining at home and having online classes though but what about them who don't have enough internet access? Or we are failed to give them proper network area. So we are still fearing Covid-19 and waiting for the vaccine too.

That's reality and we cannot force them up to stay at home since for sure the calling of hungry stomach is much important rather than being afraid of the virus.

Although the system for now is not perfect but for sure many learn a lesson from it and learn to adopt the new changes in technology as well our daily life.

But fear from people is normal and we cannot do anything from it but to wait the vaccine and hopefully we can see the successful one release next year.

Look at this latest post from cointelegraph: https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-price-will-bolt-higher-if-biden-wins-rise-slower-with-trump-max-keiser

3553  Other / Archival / Re: Hong Kong bans retail trading of digital currencies on: November 06, 2020, 09:50:03 PM
I hope they don’t make such law where I live because retail traders has been my highest selling point, I make bigger profit when I sell to some small exchange or retailers where I live than when I sell my coins on exchanges. They might be right about the money laundering issue because there are some dumb people that are always trying to ruin every good thing.

Moreover, the government seems to be doing everything possible now to clamp down on crypto, and they are starting with centralized exchanges, that’s how they are gaining control. I have been seeing posts like this recently, everyone complaining.

Hopefully not since if major countries will ban crypto from retail or other use then provably the 3rd world or other country will follow so we need to see some more positive news and great adoption so that the government will consider it's usage and see the potential. Since if they are feed up with negatives for sure they will do such actions which we don't like.

For now there are less country doing that but other who ban crypto are slowly opening their doors again so maybe that's temporary ban only but let see.
3554  Local / Pilipinas / Re: May Maganda bang FUTURE ang Cryptocurrency kung si JOE BIDEN ang mananalo on: November 06, 2020, 11:17:14 AM
Hindi po natin ma predict talaga if may magandang future ang crypto if mananalo si Biden. Walang guarantees dito dahil ang market napaka-unpredictable talaga at pwede xa mag pump and dump in just a matter of minutes na walang warning. Whether kung sino sa kanila ang manalo, Bitcoin is gonna stay as ease to be dominant sa crypto market. Same din sa Ethereum at iba pang cryptos. Just my opinion lang po hehe.

Big news!

Gordon Hayward wants out of Celtics contract for 2020-21 season

Quote
Gordon Hayward's future with the Boston Celtics is getting murkier by the day.

Hayward can earn $34.1 million next season by opting into the final year of his Celtics contract, and many assumed he'd take that option in light of the injuries and inconsistencies that have prevented him from reaching his full potential.

What team do you think will be interested of getting him, no question he has a star quality as a player but his injury problem is one of the reason's a team might not risk for big money to get him.
This is the counterpart for each player that will be injured.

Speculating which team is going to take him with his condition, we'll never know. It's too early to speculate and have a guess which team will get him.

But it's going to be surprised if the team that will get him is the team that we're not expecting.

It's really hard to tell since there's no rumor yet on which team will take him since for sure they will think about his health condition and contribution on the team if they will take him out and I think Hayward will struggle on this since there are so many good free agents which is healthy.

But it's good to see him in the bench since for sure even if he can't contribute on the court for sure the experience he bring on the bench will be useful for the team who will pick him.
3556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New way to cheat with Bitcoin! be careful on: November 05, 2020, 11:09:40 AM
I hope everyone will be smart in dealing with crypto investment.

The golden rule is, never invest in a project that offers an instant and big return as 99% they are scams.
Regardless of the name of the project, the people behind it, as long as they offer a too good to be true return, better stay away with it.

The first time investors will always be the one falls for those promising investment since many will think about how good the platform is since they can get paid until the promised time frame unto them. I believe this one will never end since there are so many newbies joining the scene and that's the target of the scammers.
3557  Economy / Speculation / Re: Altcoin still feasible? Profit or loss? on: November 05, 2020, 10:04:17 AM
I feel altcoins are just waiting to break out and reach the peak in short span of time, what's your view? Kindly share your opinions.

BUT, Bitcoin has been surging faster than altcoins in fiat terms, and crashing slower. HODLing altcoins/shitcoins actually loses you Bitcoins.

Altcoins aren't for HODLing. They're for flipping. It's all about timing.

When major long term resistance (like the June 2019 highs in the $13,800s) break, that usually sends everyone piling back into Bitcoin, and out of altcoins. This feels like one of those times where altcoins will stagnate and fall against BTC, while BTC surges against USD. If true, then I would look for that dynamic to reverse when BTC has a major mid-term price correction, similar to March 2017. That's when the Ethereum/token bubble really went nuts.

Many believe that there are tokens or coins that will follow the track of Bitcoin where it reach a high ATH way back on year 2017 but based on experience I encounter a major lost due to believing it and my tokens just dump so badly on year 2018 so by now I never tried to hold any of those and just simply trade them whenever I see some good position to sell and only hold bitcoins since this is the one promising to get a possible high leap in next following years.

Trump is ahead in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Michigan
Biden is ahead in Nevada...
Wrong. You seem to be a Trump supporter which is why you are neglecting how close the tally is currently. Biden is ahead in both Nevada and Wisconsin and just needs to grab one more state to secure 270 seats while Trump needs to secure way more states in comparison.

Trump is clearly scared since he already declared that he won and wants voting to stop making himself look like an absolute idiot as usual.

Trump is in panic now seeing that Biden is almost winning the presidency and I don't know how he will bring up things for declaring his self as a winner and also he stated that he will go to supreme court and about the fraud on election so maybe this is pathetic action for him if he really pursue this.

But the election is not done yet maybe there's a little chances but I guess Biden will win.
3559  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [TIP] Onting tipid tips sa transactions sa Coins.PH on: November 04, 2020, 11:04:38 PM
So ang mangyayari pala kung may btc ako sa coins.ph account ko, I will convert btc to xrp muna then xrp to php na.
Kaso, what if ang price ng xrp ay mababa? Same pa din bang okay i cv ito to php?

Pagdating sa ganyan, if di sigurado, mabilis naman natin machecheck kapag kinompare.

Ganun pa rin, check BTC to PHP conversion then take note of the current rate. Then BTC to XRP and do the same thing. And last, icheck naman ang XRP to PHP.

Subukan nyo mas less hassle sya at less fee.
3560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump on: November 04, 2020, 01:35:01 PM
I was monitoring the election hours ago and I can say that it's really a close one. I'm not really into political betting and I can't say who might win since I'm just basing on the live statistic and since it's close, results can still change. For that person who bet such a huge amount of money, that is really something. I guess he's confident enough that Trump will win the 2020 election because he spends $5M to vote for Trump. If Biden wins, it's a big loss, but if Trump wins, then he will earn a lot, now I'm more interested in his reaction after the result came out.
In the early rounds, Trump is very confident about winning the presidential election for the next year because some time ago I read that Trump will do whatever it takes to make himself win in this election, so it's likely that Trump has prepared several strategies that will make him win, even though Joe Biden is currently in first place and hopefully this will not be the final result of the presidential election, because if this is the final judgment then the one who bet $ 5 million will lose a lot of money.

It's part of consequences for betting on trump so it's either he will bag happily with his winnings or cry out loud for being a loser with trump.

But I think that amount is what the bettor can afford to lose since there's no insane guy will place all of his wealth for betting on a candidate which have 50-50 chances.
