3541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fully vaccinated individuals now spared of masks in the casinos in Vegas on: June 29, 2021, 08:58:45 PM
Vaccine passports can't be faked. And I don't think that someone will try to fake it, just to gain access to a casino without mask requirement. If caught, he faces a jail term. However, I am not sure whether the individuals will be asked to produce their vaccine passports at the casino. In many cases, it maybe just the SMS message or an online document certifying the inoculation. On such instances, these messages and documents can be faked. But the larger question here is whether the vaccinated people should be allowed not to wear masks or not. And IMO, everyone should wear masks, irrespective of their vaccination status.

Vaccination passports are initially a disgusting idea and I don't care how it will be buried - by the prohibition of the adequate authorities or by sabotage (forgery of passports) by the population. I heard that in one of the US states, the governor imposed a fine for organizations of $ 5,000 for the very fact of the question of vaccinating a visitor.

I, like you, think that the vaccination passport is evil.

In my opinion vaccination is purely voluntary, so no one has the right to infringe on people's rights to move freely, even if they don't want to be vaccinated for some reason. I believe that a person wearing a mask should have all the same rights as a person with a vaccination certificate. But unfortunately we have seen the opposite trend lately.
Here on my country on where there are tendency that a certain citizen would got in prison if they wont really be taking some shot of the vaccine which i can say to be totally bullshit on forcing out someone on taking the vaccine even if they didnt want to.We do have the full rights when it comes to decisions that we do make in our own lives and this one specially regarding with health then it shouldnt really be something that could turn out to be mandatory since it wont already be humanitarian on forcing out people. On this situation then its up to someones choice even they got vaccinated then someone do decide to wear still some mask then its a personal choice and if this one turns out to be some trial then i wouldnt really be risking out my health just for this.Im just too scared on getting infected myself even got vaccinated.
3542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terms and condition a must read before signing up any online gambling site on: June 29, 2021, 07:16:34 PM
Who's gonna read pages and pages of T&Cs? Nobody.
Then what happens is that companies put some guardrails in place to defend themselves and the players that don't read them, when they get scammed start to blame the platforms.
But players should blame themselves first.
I also don't read everything but at least, using the search function, I make sure that I can do (or can't do) certain things.
The rest is pretty much the same on every platform.
Be smart people.

I admit that I'm one of those who skip the T&Csmost of the time especially if it's too long. However, the company should also consider the convenience of its users without asking or demanding for personal information just to pass the KYC. They should also try to keep their users. That's actually the reason why I always check for the legitimacy of every site that I'm using.
Actually guilty on this one where i dont really read up anytime i do make some engagement or make use of a certain site not only with gambling sites but in other sites as well.
Im not really fan of it since those long text are way too time consuming on reading up.I know the risk is there since you dont know actually the rules or their terms but based
up also on what you had said that i would just simply stick out to the reputable or known ones which you can already presume that they would really be good into their service.
Honestly, this is a must thing to be done on where you should be reading up ToS but im much sure that not all would be having this kind of behavior.
3543  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This sh*t ain't for the faint of heart! 😭 on: June 28, 2021, 11:34:50 PM
28k was a good price to go in, relative to where it is now. Meaning, you know it was good when you've long passed it and you're looking down at it. But what'ch'y'all think? Still a good time? Tempted to go all in, not gonna lie.

To be an investor you have to think like an investor. Those who are planning to make long term investments can buy at any time depending on the condition of the market. It is very difficult to predict exactly where the market will go, so one opportunity is missed and another may come again, there is no need to be so easily emotional. Patience is a big thing when it comes to longterm investments. If you can't withstand the ups and downs of the market, you won't be able to make longterm investments, because you will panic selling your hodl bitcoin at any time.
You should fix up your mind on that way because if you wont prepare yourself on having this kind of mindset then you arent ready on taking the deal with the possible scenarios or situations that you might faced up in the market.Better make yourself ready so that whenever or whatever situations you might able to face then at least you had already prepared and anticipated so that you wont get shocked but having those newbie reactions are common specially when its our first time but as the time goes by or experience you would gain in the market then you would definitely get used to it.
3544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting to Risk Free Fights on: June 28, 2021, 10:33:09 PM
No I confirm to you, there is no assurance for a team or a player to win with such odds : @1.5 odds means there are only 66%(maybe 60% with the vigorish) to win.

If there's any assurance it not gambling anymore, even in a slight percentage of losing shit may happened. Even after all the research that you made there's always a chance that your bet will lose.

We as gamblers understand that, we do have our different approach and system that we use each time we sort and pick the team or players that we are riding,

Knowing that even how small the odds if luck will not permit we still going to lose our money.
I agree with you but the real "risk" of a bet or in other words the likeliness of the outcome to happen has nothing to do with the money and the profit you can get from it. If the likeliness of the outcome is actually 90% but the bet is only paid out @1.01, the bet is almost risk free but not profitable at the end.

Another thing to consider, yeah it's right the worth of your possible earnings compared how big you are risking, not worthy unless you are willing to take that gamble for the sake of small gain as what you mentioned.

For most cases, gamblers will take much bigger risk targetting more higher profits, instead of trying to play safe since there's still risk behind.

Though it always depends from how gamblers take things out and what system they are using while working inside this field.
As an experienced gambler then you can eventually make some own decision whether a certain bet would really be worth of the risk or not and this is just personal choice because not all would be having the same views on a particular situation and its true that theres no such thing about guaranteed or risk free bets no matter how small the odds is there would always be a tendency on losing that one and this is why we shouldnt really get that confident on making out big bets just for small gains. You can always determine because sometimes guts do really set in and give you some feeling.
3545  Economy / Economics / Re: Antivirus Pioneer John McAfee Commits Suicide on: June 28, 2021, 09:51:41 PM
I feel somehow sad despite the fact of what he did.

His $WHACKD post really makes me confused.

His shitcoin is called WHACKD, he was just trying to drum up publicity about it so he could defraud more people out of money by selling it to them.  Not really that confusing, his life over the last bunch of years was devoted to fraud and schemes centered around crypto.  He made the tweet long before he was ever in danger of going to prison, it was just a publicity stunt to sell shitcoin.
Welp, the guy did deserve it when all he was doing in the past is shilling a shitcoin and making bad reputation to Bitcoin but most people aren't affected by that and he's a not like Elon Musk who can make a change with a single tweet. That's some real power of an influencer especially in crypto market.

I felt sad a little about how he just end up his life in prison but I also believe that he deserves it to go to jail since he was scamming more people in the past by shilling his shitcoin project. I guess people are quite happy that the shiller and scammer is gone.
He deserves to go into jail but dying is another thing but since this is a self choice since this is a suicide then its an another story.People shouldnt commit this thing but due to some people do really failed when it comes to emotion handling then several people do really end up on this thing which is sad.Its just right that he should pay into those crimes that he had done in the past but its sad on how he do end up which is a sad thing.
I was shocked about this news on hearing it up but well whats done is done. Rest in peace.
3546  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! 🔮 on: June 26, 2021, 10:41:40 PM
Just my opinion after login to my account and checked bets, especially in Europe 2021, not much bettors participating in every bet, is it possible that this gambling site is starting to be abandoned by its users? hope they stay in development and there will be a new update regarding their platform
There are lack of updates and advertising so basically this site will die if the Dev continue to abandoned the thread and their plans.

I understand that they wanted this to go through tough days but it seemingly going to closure if not getting better for the next months or year.
They must be more active marketing this site or else gamblers will lose interest and they should keep updating their system because that is very important to remain profitable. The concept of this gambling site is great with so many betting options but if there’s no more bettor, then it’ll be hard to continue operate the site, i hope the team wont abandon this gambling site.
Few pages back talking about the lines given which is mostly future events which do really make the gamblers interest would just simply flew away.
Yes, the concept and the idea is unique but since we are involving gambling then it is just understandable that gamblers arent really that patient enough on knowing bet results for a very long time which does basically means that the strength of this site had becomes also its weakness just like a double edge sword because even if they do put up focus on marketing but if the whole operation would be still like this as part of their main concept
then it would be understandable that there wont really be that much of interest or people or gamblers would sustain.
3547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you worry about not being able to convert BTC to fiat in future on: June 26, 2021, 10:00:09 PM
well p2p is highly recommended here if you remember that the bank or country you live in prohibits this bitcoin activity even though you do have to pay extra for it but this is better than nothing.
but if we talk about the future, of course, no one knows what will happen, maybe it can be like what you are talking about, maybe it can also be the other way around considering that there are so many people who are interested in this coin and it is possible that the government can maximize this so that those who still ban bitcoin can change his stance. hope it can happen
^ Probably it is, but how about the whole world? No, no way, I don't think that too much far. BTC will grow and it will accept in the mainstream as a medium exchange and now we are here, BTC was very well known all over the world, in fact, BTC is now legalized in most countries. So I don't think BTC will go down and reach the point the government will ban cryptocurrency. At this moment, we saw that BTC will have the potential to become an alternative currency and I don't think if is worth it to think negative side towards BTC.
Not all country would really be ending up on the same decision when it comes to their own views towards Bitcoin or crypto as a whole. For sure there would be some opposing and some would tending for it to be adopted and we have seen such circumstances as of this moment where there are countries who do really adopted and welcome its existence and not really seeing it as a threat on where some countries do.

About cashing out then i dont worry that much since the country i do live in is on the bit positive towards crypto which means there are no problems or hiccups when you are tending to make out some cash out or conversion from crypto to fiat. Also if you do have some hard time on cashing out then there are still various ways which you can make use for you to do such transaction.
3548  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why risk management is so important for Every Trader. on: June 26, 2021, 09:49:07 PM
risk management for a trader may be difficult and needs to be looked at. but believe in trading to be able to get a profit we don't always have to get 100% but it's better to get less but regularly. So I think your risk management needs to be applied and try to expand your thinking if in trading there must be a minimum percentage of profit, not just a maximum profit as you are worried.
You need to grab this! Risk management is a way of ensuring that risk to reward ratio is balanced by trading with lower risks and higher rewards in percentage. You can decide to trade with risk to reward ratio of 1:5, which is a profitable way to trade.
Just like entering a trade with risk to reward ratio of 1:5, if your stoplose is worth $10 then takeprofit will be $50 because the reward ratio is higher than the risk taken. This is how risk management work, it helps one to trade wisely and avoid unnecessary risks that could affects one capital during trading.

It should be balanced as always and as an investor then you do really need to take a look whether it would be worth or not when it comes to risk because you cant just make out positions without any basis because this would eventually turn out to be a mistake or do end up on being a loss or becoming the reason on why you had lost money in your investment.

You should be wise towards your actions because if you dont mind much about on how to manage risk then you are just basically doing gambling in the first place.

Risk management should be a standard thing and that shouldnt really be separated anytime you do make out investment because this thing is really very important.
3549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prayer and gambling. on: June 26, 2021, 08:45:06 PM
Gambling is a game of chance. It's not surprising that gamblers tend to believe in a higher power when they are on the table. If you have been gambling for a long time there will definitely be a point when  you'd need to believe in something....just to attract some luck. Every gamble has his own, could be a talisman, fortune cookies, a lucky coin, a ring or anything. It kinda boost one's confidence I think
Lots of things would get involved whenever you do prolong your game on where you do really end up on believing into something which is really a very common behavior for most gamblers but actually luck isnt something that can really be influenced because it does come randomly but there are people whom do really believe that they can really call it out on being lucky on a certain game which is really a very wrong mindset to have because this will surely motivate you to play even more and forcing out that you would really be winning the game just because you had done something.
3550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: June 26, 2021, 02:50:21 PM
I don't know, but Spence Jr. hasn't fought a boxer as fast and as Manny, so we might see him expose in this fight as some experts believe that Spence is too slow for Manny Pacquiao. We have a lot of predictions to consider but it's the speed I believe which is the advantage of Manny.
If Manny Pacquiao is in his prime touch then he will trouble Errol Spence Jr with his speed and there is no debate about that and some here are confident that he is really training hard even though he did not fight in he past two years and if Manny Pacquiao can bring that same style of offensive boxing he will easily beat Errol Spence but the odds makers are also looking at the age and so is the reason Manny Pacquiao is heavy underdog.
I dont think if people will consider the age gap of Manny Pacquiao compared to Spence Jr., at his age Pacquiao can still fight with the same strength even though he didn't fight for almost two years. If we really compared both fighters, in my own, I still prefer on Manny Pacquiao technically because he is faster than Spence and once a good fighter is all about the skills how to fight not only rely on the strength.

I saw a short video clip of Manny Pacquiao and his training and it seems he trained very hard and prepare his self on this fight. I still on his side on the match.

Not everyone thinks about that age gap though, I am one of the many believers of Manny Pacquiao and I believe he can still beat another champion. Spence may be a tough opponent but Manny will always find his opponent's weakness and beat him.  Being an underdog is a gift because as a bettor, we always like to get good value for our bet while thinking our fighter has the bigger chance of winning.
Lots had been in shocked on where they do see that Pacquiao is the underdog here which i do really agree on what you had said about taking value with our bets since we can really see a big chance of winning this fight even though he's that much older than Spence but we know on how Legendary fighter Manny Pacquiao is, he wont really be called on that title for nothing even though he's a bit old but doesnt mean that he wont be capable on taking down younger fighters even they are already into their prime.Lets see on what would happen on this upcoming fight.!
3551  Economy / Speculation / Re: Game over to Bitcoin Time to sell all on: June 26, 2021, 12:37:07 PM
Bitcoin has a massive crash and it's going to be down and down.
We enter a bear market. dark time for btc.

So you sold all your bitcoins by now and out of the crypto market ?
Real bitcoin investors and holders know the future of bitcoin and they will not sell their bitcoin for cheap. When the market is down , its not the time to sell, rather its a time to buy.  Smiley
Only no coiners would really be having these kind of words which is really against on the market and telling out negativity even if they do know on how big the support and demand does Bitcoin have after all the years of existence.Market couldnt really be just having a bullish run forever or a very long time or we do simply see it on constant manner. There would be always a trend change up or shift because it wont really be called a market if it would really be having only one direction which most newbies do really believe on when they had just recently jumped into the market and those are those primary mistakes on where people do really believe on.
3552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Gambling Licenses - What they actually mean on: June 25, 2021, 11:37:53 PM
My advice is to find an online casino with a good reputation, and just totally ignore any gaming license nonsense. And be your own auditor. Play at provably fair casinos, and actually make an effort to check the results.
+1

Some weird things, Curacao who gives the license not doing anything while there has some problem on the casino itself. IMO, it's just like they give every business license without moderated all of them for customer protection. So, even a scam casino still can get some license as long they are paid "Curacao" to create a license for them to make it legit Grin
This was the main problem when it comes to moderating on how legit the site is. It is just been part of the mindset of the majority that once a certain gambling site or any platform do get its license then they would be automatically considered to be legit and trustable which I can say that this had been the standard when it comes to personal views which I cant really blame off.In all honesty then I don't see the point or it isn't really actually necessary to have this because there are platforms out there which are legit and giving out their best service without necessarily having these licenses.
3553  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: June 25, 2021, 10:54:47 PM
It is really individual, general perception is to wait for everyone else to sell in order to buy more and vice versa for me. The market trends are based on HYPE, the continuation of the trends depends on few factors which shows the way to sell or hold more. The stop loss should be on the charts no matter how you are sure on the single trade, in volatile markets single red candle can melt the whole trading position.
Really actually talks about personal perception and own jurisdiction and decisions to be made because we do have different takings on a particular situation we are bound into which basically means that some would be still deciding to hold up a little more and some would be decide to sell it as they had already
gained enough or simply call it a day.We do have different jurisdictions on things this is why decisions made would really vary on each person to person.
We do have different goals and calls and this is why people would have different takings on when to sell and when to hold.
3554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: June 25, 2021, 10:07:26 PM
Therefore, it is advisable to spend bitcoin, not hold.  This is money.  Money cannot be taken too seriously.  Otherwise, everyone will call you "stingy knight".

Not a good idea for people who just earn an average amount of bitcoin.

Let the spending and selling to those who afford to sell at any price. No need for an average earners or small holders to participate in that.

The market is manipulated. No need to follow the right path that we need to spend bitcoin because of the idea that money can't be taken too seriously.
I also disagree with the person that you are quoting, the point of bitcoin is to give you full ownership of your money, something that cannot be achieved with fiat, so if someone wants to spend all the bitcoin they have on their hands then that is their call but if someone else wants to keep it and save as much as possible then that is fine too, also when we take into account how fast the price of bitcoin grows, the instability of the fiat system and that we need to save for our future then it is obvious I prefer to save most of the bitcoin I got.

Bitcoin is conceived as electronic money and that's why I believe it should be used that way. If no one were spending and no one was selling then there would be no bitcoin in free circulation in the market.
While there's nothing wrong with accumulating in anticipation of a better price, what would anyone buy if there weren't sellers on the market?

Majority would really be saying about circulation but honestly I don't see any issues about that since the marketplace or the community as a whole doesn't really lack out of transactions when we do talk about circulation which I would be saying to be enough imho.
I don't mind much about that issue since we are sharing on the same views on how bitcoin should be used and how bitcoin should be saved up for future use.
Most of the time people would really be mindful on accumulating and saving up coins as much as they can because we do know the potential
when it comes to future price.Actually this is really a personal kind of choice since we do have different goals or mindset.
3555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a bad time for altcoins? on: June 25, 2021, 09:24:27 PM
Why do I see legit coins with real utility and transparent, excellent devs not doing well but shitty meme coins just flying?

Unfortunately, it seems that fanaticism does its thing in the cryptocurrency markets as well!

There are better cryptocurrencies like primecoin, peercoin but they are in oblivion. But history puts everything in its place...   Grin
There are actually lots if you do tend to look on the bigger picture but basing off with numbers alone then you would really be finding out to be a tedious task for you to look on them 1 by 1 which would really be that time consuming and people would really be finding of course would be on the newer ones which does signify newer tech but if we do look closely then these old coins are still relevant in terms of functionality and usage which is way more than better compared into those projects nowadays which are only copying the same concept all over again and again.Asking about time for altcoins then there would always be a sure thing for this one./

3557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If China is so bad for miners, why aren't they moving? on: June 24, 2021, 11:14:14 PM
There would be lots of considerations to be taken first before moving out into other country just for the sake of mining.

1. Passport/Visa
2. Adaptation on new surroundings
3. Some legal reasons
4. Not all are that financially capabled.
5. Lots of adjustments and arrangements to be done.

This is why some of them opt out on selling their rigs instead of going all of the hassle that they would experienced on making such decision.
So it isn't really simple as it sounds honestly.
3558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the martingale system sucks! (doubling down on losses) on: June 24, 2021, 10:20:07 PM
The belief in the system is that when you do it, you basically win back all your losses from previous matches so you are basically trying to gamble by just breaking even. That's what I don't get in this system, besides doubling down on losses, you only have one way in this system and that is as I have said, breakeven.

The system is not created for you to break even, you started an exact amount then double it if you lose until you win, that's the only process you have to do and you don't use any kind of system as the system itself is very simple to follow. However, is it effective? the answer is yes if you have an unlimited bankroll.
But unlimited bankroll does only exist on dreams and not on real life.No matter how rich you are you would easily get wiped out when using up martingale.
This is why its never been suggested on relying with this kind of strategy because the more losing streak you would have the more deeper losses you would make and that wont really be sustainable as long the game would run plus imagine about doubling losses everytime then having a long streak will surely
blow up your account and this is why this strategy sucks but if you do know how to control yourself on getting out when you are in greens then that would
be a good news.

Heard of those a lot in here back in 2017, but it was always a "meh" for me even when I was still a newbie back then.
Imagine why do people still work a lot when there's possibility that doublers even exist in the first place.
From that mindset, I never believed in any of these doublers.
With just your own common sense then you could really tell it on the first place that those are just indeed obvious scams or money grabbers.
I wont deny that when im still a noob you would really get easily hooked up with these things on where you do really believe that you could
really make yourself rich in no time if these things would really continue to exist on the first place but if you do really make out some realizations
then you would eventually find out that these are just obvious scammers whom do really take advantage of those newbie minds.
3560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does implementing a tax on a gambling platform really help a country? on: June 24, 2021, 08:06:09 PM
That's normal for them because greed is what makes them going on. And once they've already gathered a lot of money from their corrupt activities, that's making them hard to stop because it's becoming a habit of theirs.
I see that is normal to them, but if they can think about what will going to happen to them and their family, I am sure they will not want doing that because they will in the danger situations in the future. Yes, greediness will be the part of that and it needs to say NO to join in the corrupt officials but that will hard to avoid it if we do not have a control for ourselves.
It's just all about the money and business. They don't think of what's near to them as long as they're aiming for the bigger bucks that they can take as they corrupt.
Well, in different countries it became their habit and even the citizens know, it's hard to prove it unless there's really someone who's going to fight for them.
Tend to disagree on some words because not all on aiming big does mean that that theyre corrupt.Of course they would really be aiming on something more beneficial for them which is on a bit common and we shouldn't really be that directly be judgemental that majority of the government in the world is corrupt.
There would be still into those who are really in concern into their governing vicinity and that's why they would really be mindful on things which
that could be possibly be taxed and would really be added up on the pot for those kind of usage which is understandable.
