3541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is here to stay. on: November 21, 2022, 10:53:54 PM
The chaos created by collapse of FTX was similar to 2001 dissolution of Enron, the largest bankruptcy in US history. The complete failure of corporate control is a strong message to authorities to come up with new regulation to avoid such a huge crisis which has evaporated life time savings of many families all over the world.
The regulators should change some policies and make them even stronger for these exchanges and companies to have a sense of responsibility and avoid doing fraud while given a license to operate.

The message from this collapse is loud and clear. Keep your asset in no-custodial wallets.
It's sad that too many folks have been affected. But for those that have little funds there, the lesson that they've got is big but for those that have huge funds left there then they can treat it as a very expensive lesson to learn. That's all they can think to avoid having that stressful thought because they don't like what has happened and no one like it even the non-affected people.
3542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Still think bitcoin is coming to an end? Then you must read this <3 on: November 21, 2022, 10:02:27 PM
I am not just making a list here by grabbing it from here and there but these are actual results of bitcoin in use. If people still gonna argue about bitcoin's prices, its trust based on some failed exchange or few bad set backs then I think they have not understood the bitcoin really well.
It's pointless to talk to someone when he started to talk about failed exchanges, the fiasco of FTX, and other hacks. Those unbelievers and not investors of bitcoin will always find a fault and way to discuss those negative things that have happened. But when you try to defend it, they'll just push you harder and it's not a reason to trust it even if the market recovers. They're blind to looking at the achievements and good things like adoption from various known companies because they have chosen to be blind and not to look at the bright side of having bitcoin.
3543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is The Gambling Industry Part Of The Domino Effect That Happens In The Market on: November 21, 2022, 09:30:07 PM
- Do you think The Gambling Industry Is Part Of The Domino Effect That Happens In The Market?
I don't think so, too many bear markets have to the market, and the gambling industry still stands a firm stance despite of those.

- Will the industry lose the trust of gamblers if one or two casinos scammed their players by closing down and running with what
money they have that belongs to the gamblers?
Definitely, a casino that's dishonest isn't going to be trusted by many players. If they runaway with the money, they're bound for closure because they're going to hide from the public.

There's a discussion here about a call to make it mandatory for gambling sites to show proof of money they are holding in reserves because of what happened on FTX.

Running a casino during crypto crash
  - As a gambler do you use gambling sites to store your coins like what traders are doing on exchanges?

No, definitely not. Like in exchanges, only deposit what you will gamble.

There's a discussion here about a call to make it mandatory for gambling sites to show proof of money they are holding in reserves because of what happened on FTX.

Running a casino during crypto crash
  - What would gamblers think if a casino does not agree to show proof of money from new and old casinos
Personally, I don't mind looking at that. But those with trust issues, don't gamble from mostly new casinos.
3544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is the host draw in the ceremony match? on: November 21, 2022, 09:10:18 PM
Qatar is not good at football which they know but they just want to get attention this year that was why they did everything to make sure the world cup was hosted in their country. I just didn't bet on Qatar because I know it will be a loss the game was interesting to me because Ecuador won as predicted and made my day.
Having to host the huge event is what will make their economy boost. It's just a plus if they win many games in the group stages but the main thing about their hosting is to make the attention to help their economy higher. As they lose the opening match, to those experts who have a lot of experience watching these events.
Do you think that Qatar will happen to have a chance to win against Senegal which is their next match by Friday?

The fact that Qatar got the opportunity to host the world cup is already a boost to their economy because people from all over the world will have the opportunity to experience the country and mostly do business with them and this will help the country to get more popularity and it will also bring an increase to their GDP.
Yes, and the money that they've spent to make it happen is surely a lot. There are other countries that have proposed to be the host and they're rejected and maybe some other time, the other bidders and countries will get to have the chance to host this big event.
With all of the tourists that have come just to watch the World Cup, I'm sure that they'll be able to at least get somehow a huge chunk from the investment that they've made for hosting this event and that's just part of it as a starter to boost their economy as it goes on.
3545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 21, 2022, 08:40:04 PM
I guess the lack of a superstar is working great for the Jazz. Since there is no superstar that hogs the ball, they all get touches and a chance to contribute to a win. That is great basketball.
The rotation is good for a team that doesn't have a superstar because everyone is given the chance to play with their might whenever they've been on the floor. There's no mentally on them that the superstar should work hardly because he's getting paid the most and he should get the most playing time too.

In this scenario, the coach should get a credit as well since he brings out the best on his team even when they are on a rebuilding process.
Their coach Will Hardy is also still a young man, 34 years of age, and then coaching the team at its best. I agree that he should be credited for their wins but I guess that's always been there whenever they get to win.
3546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: METAMASK TOKEN BIGGEST AIRDROP EVER! on: November 21, 2022, 08:05:45 PM
I think this is the reason why have are being scammed. They are quick to believe such rumors when there's no official announcement being done.
The scammers are taking advantage of the situation for which it is making the victims gullible that there will be airdrops from the official company even if there are none, so they make it for themselves. For all, before you believe that there's one, make your research and see if there's really one being done by them.
3547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Something important is coming soon on: November 21, 2022, 03:23:57 PM
Rarely see him talk about the market situation, before that I also saw him talk about the collapse of FTX and this time...A few days ago there was a rumor that Vitalik sold some of his ETH when FTX crashed but he denied it, while there was a lot of evidence that it was his wallet address and this time probably won't be good news, I have a hunch.
He's playing it safe when he doesn't want to admit that he has dumped a few of his creations. And for this tweet, we may see something big and important may happen.
But isn't this related to his talks with CZ about the proof of reserve that they're talking about? Maybe that's all this tweet is about. Who knows, these elite things, they're the only ones that understands each others back and words.
3548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a gambling addict? on: November 21, 2022, 01:40:27 PM
I'm a regular gambler but I'm not an addict, this depend on how good you control your own emotion and money management. A gambling addict usually bet what they have, so when he have money that he need to use it for a month to survive, he use it all and didn't think twice how he can get money to buy foods, pay bills etc. Just gamble what you can afford to lose, even it's just $5 per day, no need to be greedy achieve more.
I'm also a gambler but still fine and isn't on the verge of being addicted. As for the addicted gamblers, even they're aware that it's not their money. If they had it, they'll gamble with it even without the permission of the owner of the money that they handle.
This is what happens mostly for addicted gamblers and they're getting into a situation that's hard to get out of. It's hard to deal with it when they're guilty that they shouldn't spend the money that they don't own.
3549  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is available on NO KYC Crypton Exchange on: November 21, 2022, 11:37:28 AM
It really is. Like you, I consider this exchanger the safest of all anonymous exchangers.
I saw this exchange has its token and has an active signature campaign. As of now, I'll say the opposite thing of what you've said about being the safest.
There's no safest for me after seeing what has happened to FTX. It's better to have that assumption that all of them are not safe and that's going to motivate me to have my money kept away from exchange even to the most reputable ones.
These debacles have thought us a lot of lessons that there's no safe exchange whether they're decentralized or not.

After all, there are anonymous exchangers that can steal your data or something like that, but this does not apply to the Crypton exchanger.
If you sign for any of them, there is no need for them to steal it because you as user who signed up for is giving it freely.
3550  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What happened with crypto? on: November 21, 2022, 10:10:46 AM
Hi all,my friends
I've been away from cryptoworld for 2 years and i want to ask something to the esteemed audience
What the fuck is going on here?
I'm sorry,i don't have any other words
Why is bitcoin trading at 2020 prices?
This is unbelievable!!!
I sold all my bitcoins in 2021 and went to live in another country and left the cryptoworld, but i'm shocked
Is this all because of the war?
Or because of the government sticking its nose into this market?
What happened?Huh
It's because of the volatility of bitcoin and that's how it goes. No one can give the exact reason for it but we can all lean to the reason that it's because bitcoin is a very volatile asset. Good for you that you're able to move and enjoy your profits during the bear market and you can still make that much again while we're at the LOW price because we're in a bear market. You've seen how high it has made last year and it's low to be said right now. As you come back, you're all the means to reinvest again to bitcoin.
3551  Economy / Economics / Re: Twitter Crypto head and staff resigns on: November 21, 2022, 09:10:44 AM
There's no impact of it on crypto just because she's assigned into a crypto department in Twitter and she resigns, I don't see any effect on it. Well, people are now praising Elon after having around 50 employees from the 7,500 that it has got before his acquisition. Now, he's working with the most talented and competent employees in the company. That's a lot of people that has lost a job for this known tech company but Elon is an experienced guy for this thing in owning businesses.
3552  Economy / Economics / Re: Do your work. on: November 20, 2022, 11:57:24 PM
As of now, some business is having a hard time to back on track. But every time i watch videos in other social medias, small businesses is doing great.
Not all were able to get back on track. Too many businesses have been closed down for good coming from small enterprises to medium and to large businesses.
They can no longer recover and that's why if you're a business owner and you're still on track and recovering from the crisis that we've been through, you're doing great and appreciate your hard work.

I was wondering if i start in that moment, will i become as successful as them? Doing my work as individual is really depend on what situation your in. Yes, business is one thing will help one person to be free from capitalism. But we can't guarantee its success. The risk is always there. But what other says, if we don't risk, we don't gain/loss.
We have our own taste of success and not everyone becomes successful overnight and that's why there's gotta be hard work that you must apply to it.
But as you start, don't be frustrated with failure because it's going to be part of anyone's goal to become successful.
3553  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Bear Market Mistakes to Avoid on: November 20, 2022, 11:24:27 PM
Let's look at investing in a panic as a warning or an op underlined, so in the investment one thing that people think about most is the target via investment, because I have noticed that while some lose most the target via investment is because they were eager to make money in the market and also not to venture into lose in of their investment,
Everyone is eager to make money from the market and that's why we invest. It's because we've been told that people who are so rich right now went through all their ways and riches through investing.

so from my perspective it's incorrect because it's obvious that any investment of cryptocurrency has benefits and drawbacks. Because one of the things that causes business setbacks in any industry is panic,
All of them has advantage and disadvantage based on everyone's experience. Some may like to avoid bitcoin but many of us would tell that don't avoid it because it's still the safe haven of investing in crypto.
3554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cristiano Ronaldo partners with Binance on: November 20, 2022, 10:51:35 PM
Business is business, Binance wouldn't make a decision that they won't gain anything. In this case, They are sure aiming for a good marketing from football fans and of course from Ronaldo, It's about showing his fame and of course money from both sides.
Their fame of Ronaldo is of a big scale and Binance is truly on the win on this one. With millions of fans worldwide, let's just if Binance managed to make a thousand to a hundred thousand from those fans. Look who's on the win and you're right, it's Binance.

I remember celebrities hyping some random tokens before and being paid. They should be smart like Rolando because he all do is to make his own NFT than being accountable in promoting a random shitcoin that surely get rugged after the developers abandon the project.
Many of those didn't do their due diligence before hyping and having a commercial from those projects and they have to take the recoil of it to themselves because most of them have been sued by the SEC.
3555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Polygon (MATIC) to $20? on: November 20, 2022, 09:34:47 PM
Hype does make a coin pump and we're done on that era these days. As we're in a bear market, hyping a project is harder to do because the market will just eat all the hype that will be made for these coins.
Matic to reach $20, I have my doubts about it. The calculation makes me think that it's unlikely, I've just looked at the circulating supply and haven't yet calculated the total supply.

Yes, the market will just eat that hype during the bear season. There are many people around that will keep selling their coins while seeing some pumps and try to quit to avoid losing more.

Hype is not a good solution if you are trying to pump the coin. Better to continue developing and
Let the future dictate once the usages have already been adopted. We can't tell if how much this coin can
go but there are always chances when good asset gain solid support from the community.
Well, for the others, hype is a good way to just pump the coin that they have and that's always been effective but to do that in the bear market. They will find it hard in doing so because there's no way that they can go against to a proven bear market that eats everything on this market.
Even good news, they're nothing against the strong bear market because I've seen it for so many projects that have tried to do their things but still ended up with nothing.
3556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Decentraland recover? on: November 20, 2022, 09:09:56 PM
Is it not a good time to buy something like Decentraland that is 92% down from all time high?
Well, if you've done your research and you think based on that research you've made that it is going to recover then any price at the bottom is an excellent price to buy.
But also to remind you, most of the projects that have been into that loss and the chart doesn't look good as it's looking that it will be plain and flat for the current situation that it's got, has the potential that it won't recover anymore or if it does, it will be hard.
3557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETHW still survive? on: November 20, 2022, 08:44:30 PM
A crypto fanatic on youtube said ETH pow will survive and many projects will build on it some months ago, I don't remember his name anymore but he is a popular fellow.

To my surprise new projects are still building on the old Ethereum ( ETHPoW ), few of the projects are successful through funds raising but I'm curious what makes developers to keep building on an outdated chain.

Any thought?
These projects are just trying the attitude of hit and miss. If they hit and get the back and support of most in the community, they'll make a quick buck.
But if they don't get the support many in the community, they'll still make a quick buck for any exchange where the old and outdated chain is listed. The reality is that we'll keep moving forward and most of the outdated projects will be left behind.

3559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Decentraland recover? on: November 20, 2022, 07:37:13 PM
This is one of the known metaverse projects out there and I have contemplated buying a lot of it when the strength of Metaverse was still there.
I think as a project it will still recover but we don't know when maybe for the next bull run. As you're at the loss on this project, this is the reason why someone has to buy bitcoin and it should be done at these times while the price of everything has been down. You've got a lot of reason to buy bitcoin and yet you still buy altcoins.
3560  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Biggest reason why you dont make profit first on: November 20, 2022, 12:15:16 PM
So you see your Brain works by motivation you make better decisions naturally with good motivation.

So instead of small profits wait and attack Big you make enough and you dont have to Shamed about your life you can say to friends you make money in trading.
I'm thinking that bitcoin will reach $1M soon and that's how big I am thinking and there could be others that are thinking that it will surpass that price in the next several years.
I'm motivated to see the higher prices and honestly, it's all really about your mindset. Like those that are thinking that this bear market is no help to them, they don't see that it's an accumulation period. While the experienced ones, they think of this bear market as the best time to buy.

 - In short, we have nothing to lose if we think of positive things, even though this would be impossible in the eyes of the majority because if this is what gives us the courage and a positive outlook on life, I don't see anything wrong with it...

So, it's free to dream, so let's save it. Of course, we can only dream of growing up, because we have nothing to lose, we can even have our dreams come true, as long as we believe in the good mindset we have and don't let ourselves be the ones to let go of it.
Yes, everyone has their own predictions and we're all free to think of any price that we want to see for bitcoin. But at the end of it, we have to deal with the reality that it shows.
Whether it will or won't reach those high prices that we wish to see, we'll stay no matter what how low or high it'll project in the future. I'm sure that most of us are gonna stay and will satisfy ourselves by holding it while we can.
