As long as it wasn't confirmed by vitalik himself, it is a bit hard to validate.

I guess that's just a babbler. If the statements of these people won't be specific enough, then they might just be creating a 'wave' and confusion to investors. "something important to happen" is a vague statement. It could also be that he wants to make a community under his name like with Elon and other huge names in this industry. At the end of the day, a statement is just a statement. Well it could create an indirect effect to this industry given that they have the 'image' but as long as statement is indirect, it would be sketchy to make a move about it.

I don't follow Vitalik on twitter but i don't think that he is usually the type of guy that is posting silly memes and meaningless messages on twitter. If you are looking at the comments of this post though then i think it becomes obvious that he is just making fun of some big crypto influencers that have probably said that they have informations that ETH is going down soon and with his post Vitalik wants to make fun of them. It even seems that those people have replied to him in the comments.
I don't really know what happened or where the rumors are coming from but in deep bear market times like this every rumor can cause another dump. So i hope it turns out to be false.

It's not completely a babble, the point of the concern is that Vitalik is concerned about how the cryptocurrency topic progression within Twitter whereas rumours are used to manipulate people. Especially in this kind of time and with the recent FTX solvency, FUD is easily spread among people, where the matter itself isn't verified or simply trusting others' opinions.

Vitali is one person that is not controversial, so what he meant by that tweet I don't understand yet, nevertheless let it be for good of the industry, we must also understand that he doesn't control the market but his words are powerful and not a controversial actor.

I don't think they're talking about proof of reserve, it's not as big of a deal as he mentioned. In my opinion, what he meant was something negative for the market rather than positive news. I think he is referring to Genesis Trading has stopped withdrawing, Genesis is part of Grayscale, they are the largest bitcoin fund in the world. This is information that has caused extreme panic for the market in recent days.

Yeah, he has talked about it before, his proof of reserves, and we have seen the addresses that had funds in it, however, someone says that it has been moved out as well after showing it. Perhaps CZ just wanted to protect it from hackers or something.

So far we haven't heard anything important from CZ, but we all know that sometimes he trolls those who fire back at him. So maybe this is just one troll that he has used against his detractors. And I doubt that it has something to do with the FTX as well.

Almost everything that has dropped in the market and the companies are showing unsustainability. It's also making me think that this is the said "long bear market" by Elon.
And that's what these people are talking about, here and there are the companies insufficiency and starting to show that they've been all hit very hardly and badly by the bear market.

Right, probably something like another exchange will fall or something like that. And obviously, the crypto world will react negative causing panic and so this anti crypto are going to have a field day again. But Vitalik counter the troll with his own trolling so tit for ta.

And so far, there is no negative huge of this magnitude thankfully. Crypto market is still alive although the price is still down because of the FTX effect. But at least we have settled down already, no more downhill for us. Remain relatively calm in the last couple of days now after the FTX news.

Honestly I don't believe anyone that has anything to say about the market no matter their position or who they know.  For as many people that sell ypu bad news there are just the same amount that tell ypu good news lol.  It's all a shot in the dark and nobody really knows.  Otherwise we'd all make the right decisions on trades and long term holds.  So nope not buying a word they say

I'm tired of these people making others curious and anxious on social media to earn likes, retweets and popularity. If Vitalik knows something is going to happen, why can't he be more clear regards what it's going to happen? If the main purpose of his tweet is to enlight the audience, the information must be shared on its totality, not partially or vaguely.

I tend to agree and it seems to me like a FUD, it seems like he warned people not to panic and hold their ETH, because seeing like this seems there's a dump, IMO.

It seems annoying seeing trusted people tweeting this random stuff, it seems like a clue.
