^ Yeah, but can't really tell which I hate more sometimes. Losing the first leg so I know it's all over, or losing the final leg and feeling like an idiot for not cashing out (I need to learn to use cashout sometimes!!!).

If anyone saw Roma losing the way they did last night, please let me know, I want to get some advice on lottery tickets. This weekend's draw is 21 million+. Mou is definitely using up some of his brownie points from last season early!

I thought about adding another multi, but I couldn't decide whether to pick Renaldo or Fernandez to score, so I chose against it.

PS. that was a damn good score by Antony.  Fuck!

I was thinking of many more multis too, but am really glad I didn't as I would have picked just like you, Penaldo, Bruno or even Sancho to score. Couldn't foresee Rashford getting his renaissance in this game.

Hands up, was a good Antony goal, I know Arsenal 4 points up top of the league seemed a distance but I knew they'd have to lose sooner or late. Just wish them and us didn't have to give 6 points to United, damn haha.

@KTChampions looks like I'm not the only one eyeing these big value bets, but if you know me, I'm not backing the favs. I already got Sevilla, Zagreb, Shakhtar, Celtic, Juventus ALL as soon as the matches were decided, same odds as you posted. Maybe Betnomi might do some UCL promos, let's see eh?

Anyway, final reminder sent out to all pending and unconfirmed, I'm not going to ask again so at this stage would have to consider only those in pending as our last remaining members.

Leicester just can't get a good result no matter against which team they are playing,I had Brighton to win and that happened even with a tennis score. After six games I have said a couple of times now that this team will fight for relegation or maybe it will get relegated because 6 games are not that a low amount of matches, out of 18 points they have got just 1 point and for me the number speaks better than thousand words in these type of situations.

The big game now left to be played, any result can happen but I hope that Arsenal wins in order to make a better gap to the followers.

Yeah, I think we really have to accept Rodger's going to get the sack, and I read a few days ago after United his comments, couldn't have picked a worse time to say something against the owners (who have, in all honesty, been extremely patient with him, though I do agree they could loosen the purse strings a little if they want more than Europa).

They have a lot of quality and should have got something from United, but this game they just let it all slip away after getting to HT letting 2 goals in. Criminal how they allowed Brighton to take shots all the way in injury time.

Also hoping for a Gunners win, got quite a lot of money on this game (which isn't really normal for myself but happy to take some wind out of United). Antony right into it and a slightly brighter start for United, but wish Maguire also was on the pitch heh.

Martinelli goal, man, I was SO close to putting him on my Betbuilder but decided Jesus was "safer". Was actually almost sure this would be the latest example of VAR and refereeing being much more lenient on physicality of EPL... but soft foul given and goal chalked off!

Eh, I thought I was gonna have a bad day when my Dutch pick did badly in testing and then yeah, still ended up getting pole! Missed the race (football, what else?) but seems like the expected happened. Pole and win good for me to stay in touch with you leaders but Ferrari 1-2 didn't happen, so I still more or less maintain my pool position.

Hammie podium also almost happened, damn.

Left out my Tsunoda and was wise to do so...

Salah for KDB is a not so significant different move imo, what's the essence ? other than the 0.8m difference in price, Salah is still the joint highest most point scoring midfielder in the FPL this season despite his awful form that 7 points more than KDB coming into this GW, I guess he's just being a victim of his own past success.

Agreed. He's just been so successful that it makes him look bad now, not really his fault he's been overperforming. Add to that that KdB is much more injury prone than Salah, and it's a no brainer for me.

My favorite formation is always 4-5-1 with two cheap but playing forwards as subs. This year that is not working since so many forwards are doing great and it shows on my rank.

Am I really dumb or did your post just make me realise now you can change formation on FPL heh. You talking about formation just made me see I can do that now. I really ought to spend more time reading up competitions I'm paying to play!

Man, good to see Iheanacho back and on the scoresheet. Thought he was actually quite good for the money against United. Doesn't help I actually have Brighton to win though oops.

Weird calls this season so far. I think if this season refs are supposed to have implemented a new rule to give the benefit of doubt back to the attacker (if lines overlap, it's not offside unlike last season), which explains why United got their winning goal against us (no complaints from me) then I really don't get how this weekend VAR intervened.

Oh and Coutinho should have won the game for Villa. But ref was so dumb he whistled even before anything -- there was absolutely no offside, worst call of the weekend? Or Mendy faking injury? Cause he didn't even clutch the part that brushed haha. UEFA is supposed to be punishing simulation more in UCL, Europa and Conference. Would love to see that.

Betbuilder is active, don't forget to tack on your daily price boost for better odds. I've got a neat little Arsenal-heavy pick, Jesus to score is probably the one I feel least likely to happen.

Ronaldo to score actually has a pretty high odds boost, if anyone actually thinks he'll be on the pitch long enough for a pen Wink

Feel free to top this Wink

Don't forget you also have the $25 free chip offer on Arsenal roulette for placing $50 on a pre-match bet on this game Wink

You're welcome!

Slaman must be a happy man, you won a lot of bets from the very comfortable victory? Not as comfy as Real though, sitting at the top with Vini taking them on a perfect streak. Think this bodes really well for both teams in UCL.

Have to say Xavi doesn't seem to have fixed discipline though, for a passing and possession team, Barca racks up a lot of cards.
3552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2022/2023 on: September 04, 2022, 11:06:55 AM
A bit of a quiet thread this season? Or maybe need to inject some excitement by someone like me climbing up after spending some time near the bottom?

Milan was beautiful for me yesterday, got the exact score on that, but was a bit too cheeky and took Lazio by the same scoreline. Sassuolo are letting me down right now too... now need to score 2 to save me.
3553  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why there is so much resistance at $23k price on: September 04, 2022, 08:38:33 AM
But maybe majority could sway away from the market because it is crashing and then want to see how the price will go. Wait for the price to still go down further before they buy.

My take on the majority is always this: most people, even myself included most times, we're concerned more with putting food on the table and roofs over our heads. This means buying BTC is on the backburner, pushed far back behind the list of priorities.

It's not always fear when it comes to the retail investor (which I still feel is a force to be reckoned with). Just a matter of a bad situation economically that prevents further dipping into reserves. Bargain price or not.
3554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Designed Wrist Watch - Selling For $400,000😱😱 on: September 04, 2022, 06:19:32 AM
A few years ago, there were quite a number of luxury timepieces selling for pretty high prices -- all Bitcoin or crypto related. Always wondered if they eventually sold everything (as limited as they may be) and how much they'd fetch today. I know classic collectors pay, but it's not like they're waiting in line to bid. Crypto pieces? Not sure.

So yeah, good money for the makers. But those buying with hopes of value appreciating, don't hold your breath.

Oh, also surprised they didn't throw in NFTs yet to accompany those watches.

Nope, no luck for me this week either. Was always going to be hard when the very first two games ended nil-nil, good thing for most people Liverpool derby wasn't even in the selection. Picked Leeds scorer and then Brentford get 5, picked Wolves but wrong guy, even Solanke helped me get a point, but Mitrovic was my only other pick.

Anyone survived to try get 6/7 at least?
3556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | FPL Football Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: September 03, 2022, 03:26:29 PM
Me who just sold Ivan Toney... and seeing he's now got a hattrick. Just when I thought I couldn't possibly make my life in FPL harder on myself, I go and do all of that woo hoo... Marsch also just got himself sent off, typical Leeds running themselves at a wall when they're down. I bet you Toney gets at least one more goal involvement, tsk!

3557  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin could drop to $10,000 by 2023 as the Fed normalizes interest rate policy on: September 03, 2022, 02:40:50 PM
I want to say it's all priced in. Been seeing for months now the numbers get even worse than the market fears, and yet Bitcoin's been quite steadfast in resisting further falls -- to the point even worse-than-expected macro data actually results in a bounce up.

On the other hand, there are still a lot of bets riding against the expected ebb of global economy so these bets losing or winding down could yet result in a domino effect, flushing out the last of the risk-heavy bettors, so yeah, $10k isn't an unreasonable bottom over the next 12 months.
3558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 03, 2022, 01:35:31 PM
9 points from 6 games, we've already dropped almost half the average points a title winner has in the past 5 or 6 campaigns, so this doesn't bode well unless we pull another string of impossible wins... not with the squad we have now and the way we're playing. Can't put a finger on it, is it an insistence to stick to 4-3-3 when we don't actually have the personnel?

Can't remember having such a bad start for such a long time. Definitely needed more physical players, even Milner to start earlier should have been better, young guns are exciting but pretty flimsy in midfield. Lamps would feel the happier man with this draw, and this is going to really bite on the players later.

3559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | FPL Football Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: September 03, 2022, 01:01:47 PM
Problem for attackers in FPL is that they get only 4 points for a goal and no points for clean sheet. Midfilders get 5 for goal and 1 point for clean sheet which makes them much more valuable. That is why Salah and De Bruyne are such good options.

Salah with 2 goals will outscore Firminho with 2 goals for a couple of points and will even get more bonus points on avarage.

Defenders get 6 points for goal and 4 points for clean sheet and that is why Trent should be in every FPL squad.

Everybody gets 3 points for assists. Now I was writing all this by memory so don't kill me if I am of by a point somewhere but I am quite sure it is all correct.

Exactly, as I always say and it's the same no matter what fantasy you get, the points are skewed towards goal contributions, which for a defender like Trent to make, or midfielders like Salah who score as often as they assist, it's an absolute craziness to put them out of your squad. And yes, I still haven't put Salah in (what the hell, right?) but I actually forgot to confirm my picks last game (wtf right?) so was a bit annoyed when I checked today but either way, least I maintained my position (13).

Praying for Arsenal to whip United.

A little weird seeing F1 dominate this thread, don't think I've ever seen that, though tbf I don't always come here all the time.

Already crushed myself by backing the crowd fav, did NOT expect practice to turn out the way it did, but I still feel like Ferrari is suspect. Still insane odds, might have thrown a few sats myself on Dutch boi but how is Verstappen still 1.24 now? Haha.

6/1 on Leclerc's really good!
