I had a look at maidsafe project, frankly i doubt they will achieve their goals. If they do so, i wonder how the safe websites will work if someone shuts off his computer while lending power and space to the website. The project itself is nice, it would be the born of a new kind of network, like bitcoin and onion did, but still, many questions are pending for answers ...
why not put your questions to the devs. I'm sure they have an answer to your website question. Because i don't believe devs anymore, i better like to wait and see the outcome, i am not looking to make profit on Altcoins, but i want to use the new features they offer. I am not interested in the price of coins, it doesn't reflects the acceptance level of a coin nor the projects health, it is just the result of traders playing with the price. Okay. Seems someone answers your question above anyway.

Gud to read that everyone else has seen the countless articles on Bitcoin is dead. Everyone apart from the Spoetniktard that is. Now let's wonder why he doesn't was to see them. Hmm Mmm.

RIP RIP ETH you was very good to me and others, I buy cars, holidays and house payments. I couldn't have done it without you! That's the spirit. That is what we do brother, we make them dollars from these tokens/coins and then we're gone like the wind. Maybe you but I end up being a bagholder on most coins. Yeah these threads are so boring and on a par with the Bitcoin is dead when it was $30. Show me some Bitcoin is dead topics.. As usual you are a bullshitting fraud.. with weak scam coin defense retorts. Further more these topics are not here for you personal entertainment. And your claim <insert some other coin name> lights babies on fire or cures cancer ..has no bearing on Ethereum being a dead scammy heap of fucking garbage. And no it makes no difference if some random noob account pops up saying they made a million dollars on some fucking shitcoin either. Did you fucking idiots have anything smart to say ? There's a whole website dedicated to Bitcoin is dead articles. But you knew that already Spoetniktard.

Kraken response:
"Thank you very much for reaching out to us. Unfortunately, we have removed all DAO trading pairs from our exchange as of the 17th of December. No balances were affected and any open orders at that time have been credited back to your balance. However, there is a temporary issue that causes user balances to not display properly, but it should be fixed soon. We recommend you withdraw any remaining DAO tokens from your account at your earliest convenience. On behalf of Kraken, I apologize for the short notice."
So, where should i send my DAOs to get them refund? Any idea?
Thanks in advanced...
Withdraw to https://www.myetherwallet.com then use withdraw DAO. Obviously test with a small amount at first.

The DAO smart contract got exploited and it is not going to be continued.
what exactly this means? There is no DAO. The project is discontinued. and what im supposed to do with the DAO i have on ballance? All DAO hodlers were refunded in ETH. The project wrapped up months ago. so im out of the bussines? Or can i still refund my DAO? any advice where/how? many thanks in advanced... In the first instance I would contact Kraken/ Poloniex. I had my DAO in the ethereum wallet and there was a special refund contract that converted mine back to ETH. https://m.poloniex.com/dao/thanks for advice, already contacted Kraken, as there is the main ammount. Hope im not too late.. Thanks for your help... I believe that you will still be able to get a refund. Just remember that you are also entitle to a portion of the ETC Criminal Coin that was created after the Ethereum fork. Don't hodl ETC though as it's lost 99% of its value since.

Pathetic thread and even more pathetic replies from the haters. Haters always hate and that's why BTC went through the same announcements of death.

to me, maid is the definition of vaporware... pure hype. all these years and maid still didnt accomplished nothing, like @jacafbiz said, promises and more promises.
Pretty insulting words towards a small dev team based in a backwater Scottish town who have been working hard on a possible revolutionary tech over the last few years. Obviously things take time when you don't have massive budgets.

Directions for running pump-and-dump scam: (1) Copy code from existing coin, tweak parameters, create huge premine, and give it a catchy name. (2) Create an ANN thread with flashy graphics, exalting the virtues of your coin. (3) Create a scam signature campaign, promising to pay participants for wearing signatures and spamming social media. (4) Maintain the signature campaign as long as possible by postponing payment. (5) Watch resulting price rise, until it starts to level out. (6) Dump the premine, get BTC for it. (7) Leave. Note that the scammer never has to pay a single satoshi.
That's why I'd only invest in well known cryptos like BTC, ETH, MAID, and REP.

Maidsafe and their Safe Network is the snizzle. Worth going balls deep in MAID.
|
|
|
He was asking for next years best performing ICO, not this years.
|
|
|
I want to invest a few bitcoins this year in a ico and forget about them till late next year. What options are open to me?
It's not an ICO but Maidsafe (MAID) are close to releasing their Safe Network. MAID is very cheap right now and could go to ETH prices.
|
|
|
If Maidsafe release their Safe Network then I imagine MAID could be the best investment.

Hello, community.
Today i lost my last chances for freedom. This is nearly 100% is tomorrow i will go to the jail for the next 6 years.
I have near $15000 and want to buy some coins. What do you think which one should i buy? I already bought eth and gnt.
BTC, ETH and MAID. MAID is very cheap right now so you'll be able to pick up a lot of coinage and hodl for those 6 years. What's the stretch for?

Since they are asking in the article "The question is if 2013 was the year of Bitcoin and 2014 was its worst year, what will we call 2016?" I think we can try to answer the question in this thread.
It must have hurt seeing the price of the coins you bought at +$1000 levels sink below $200. Not if they kept buying as the price fell: buy 1 bitcoin at $1000 = $1000. Cost average 1000/1 = $1000 buy 1 bitcoin at $1000 and another at $200 = $1200. Cost average 1200/2 = $600
