I would advise you to learn how to use the search because if you know how to search, you will get a huge database of information on bitcoin.
I would advise you to look at the books that Ratimov collected in one large and interesting library.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5353061.0

There are also books by Andreas Antonopoulos and books about trading.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5354997.0

To be honest, this forum is simply brilliant in terms of the amount of information, everything is there, and you don't have to search for anything in Google.
3562  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I know legit and scam investment? on: January 06, 2022, 12:31:55 PM

The cruel thing is even they do look legit at first. After they have finished their public sell or any similar things called, they are just suddenly gone without any trace and using mediocre reasons as their backup such as "COVID" or even the project has failed to meet the expectation etc. If you have seen one of that then that's really difficult to even track if they look legit at the beginning.
I think scammers have become even smarter these days as most of the scam projects even look like more legit than those real legit projects. This is the reason why we have to be more careful in choosing projects to invest these days and as much as possible, research on the project a hundred times and trace the background of the team behind if they were into successful projects or not, or were also involved from those scam projects in the past. Its better not to invest when you're in doubt, than taking the risk and end up losing your capital.
[/quote]

You're right. In the absence of experience, it is enough just to get involved in a fraudulent project. Today, scammers do not spare money on advertising, make a big fuss about their projects, thereby provoking inexperienced people to invest in their scams. But as it has already been proved by experience, a lot of newly-minted projects do not live up to their final goals but evaporate as soon as they collect a small amount of money.
To this end, I recommend investing in bitcoin and some altcoins that are more trusted in the early stages. But even with them, I would not risk it.
3563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too much of new crypto projects? on: January 06, 2022, 09:53:03 AM
A similar picture with new projects appearing every day has been working for several years. But tell me, how many of these projects have been successful? If today we do not see direct evidence of fraud, this does not mean that they will not become fraudsters in the future.
Therefore, the number of new, but usually recurring projects does not say anything. There are only a few that you can trust, and the rest can be simply watched without risking your money.

I'm here new have lot of queries regarding bitcoins, one of the main concern does bitcoin is privacy protected or not. As per my search bitcoin have less privacy. Each transaction is recorded on a distributed public ledger, i.e., on the blockchain, making users switch from bitcoin to other cryptocurrencies. People trust bitcoin because they have heard of a misconception that says bitcoin is a private system. But the reality is completely different, and users must understand that the bitcoin network is anonymous but not completely private.

This is just based on my search what does your experience said. Specially requested to senior members to elaborate this and help me out if I have mistaken.

3566  Economy / Economics / Re: Indiana life insurance CEO says deaths are up 40% among people ages 18-64 on: January 05, 2022, 10:08:33 AM
I also read this news, something incomprehensible is going on. Why are there so many sick people in this state? Is everything ok with others? The statistics are frightening. Is the vaccine the problem? There are a lot of guesses on the internet. Anti-vaxxers today win on their beliefs against vaccinations.
But as for new ideas created at a critical time, I think we can hope so. Not all stress affects decreased activity. Individual talented people mobilize all their strength and knowledge to fight in times of crisis. And from such people, we see discoveries that remain forever in history.
3567  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some avoidable forum mistakes of Newbies on: January 05, 2022, 09:38:16 AM

7. Careless Distribution of Merits among fellow Newbies
Yes, whatever smerits you earn as a result of merits given to you, it's your right to choose how to spend it. But your right might be infringed when you begin to share these merits among your fellow newbies, especially those that has close registration date with you. It is easy to link you up as alts and tagged for merit abuse.
This is a challenge that most lower-ranked ranking members face. I therefore urge merit sources to always watch closely  and discover promising good users of the forum and help them rank up. I know some merit sources are good at this.

Complete nonsense. Nobody forbids sharing the merits; this is the right of the owner. Sometimes you can get merit for a good joke, a picture, and even for plagiarism. Those who decide to reward the post with merit may not understand how to detect and understand that the post is copied. (recent example) There are many examples of plagiarism being rewarded with a source of merit.

But another thing is true; the distribution of merits should not be between alternative accounts. But also, to link accounts, there must be clear evidence.

Without explicit connections that consist of the same social networks or wallets, all other evidence will be inconclusive.
3568  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What stopped you from starting crypto earlier??? on: January 05, 2022, 08:22:35 AM
You keep saying "crypto" but most of the reasons you mention are wrong about altcoins

Because the OP probably has no distinction, and he calls everything cryptocurrencies. If we talk about Bitcoin, I recognized him from the very beginning of its appearance, but, like many here, I did not believe in him. I worked with Liberty at that time, but suddenly they were banned, but bitcoin was mentioned everywhere. And I decided that this was another scam.
We all get smarter with age.
But as for the OP, it is clear that he desperately needs money, and instead of studying, he spends his time on bounty programs, creating account after account. And today his next account should be banned. It can also be said that someday he will understand and regret the wasted time.

The OP has already created an advertisement for the search for a manager for the bounty programs. But also, if you want to have real living people and not robots, invite participants who have at least 1-2 merits to participate in your bounty.
Thus, you will protect yourself from the participation of multi-accounts, which, as you know, do not allocate enough effort and time for normal advertising of projects.

KingsDen - RajaDen have the same meaning in different language, it is the same in Indonesian. But I don't think these two account belong to the same person or maybe KingsDen can confirm it.

Ghost hunting again? The first KingsDen account belongs to the Nigerian society and the second appearance to the Indonesian.
The nickname is quite popular, I would not associate them. Moreover, KingsDen already has one suspected viola in its history. Probably now everything related to kings and princes will relate to one participant.  Grin

Should we value your time? Why?
You have made this discussion open, if you do not like something, it is not worth wasting your valuable time.
Your story is pretty old. I assure you that all newcomers are more knowledgeable about the merit system than anything else on the forum.
The bottom line is that not everyone understands that if they write something or create a "useful" topic, their creation will really be useful.  Huh Angry
3573  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Not too late to meet up on: January 03, 2022, 09:33:57 AM
This is what surprises me when I see similar topics. Well, people do not want to invest their money in cryptocurrency, so give them your choice. Why should someone convince and forcibly involve in something that they do not understand and are not interested in?
Bitcoin will always have those who believe in it; it doesn't need to prove its worth.
Reading the posts, you can see that everyone says it's not too late to become an investor. Finally, think about yourself. If you're in the know, just sleep well. The rest will ripen and also catch up.

Another paraphrase, without providing links to the source

According to the Bitcoin Treasuries List, 59 companies and a handful of countries have 1.49 million bitcoins (BTC).

On March 1, 2021, 42 organizations had bitcoin on their balance sheets, representing a total of 1,350,073 bitcoin. This was the result of 304 days, or nearly nine months, of work. Statistics show that there are 59 corporations, many nations, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) with a total of 1,499,493 bitcoin kept in treasuries, according to the data.

Is it right or am I missing something else?

According to Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, who spoke to CoinDesk TV on Thursday, "everyone in Miami is getting free bitcoin." Known as "the first Web3.0 city," the move is part of a fuzzier overall strategy to become "the first Web3.0 city." It involves separating apart the profits the city generates from MiamiCoin, which has already produced $21 million for the city.

I'm curious as to what you think about this issue.

A total of 129,800 option contracts worth almost $6 billion are slated to expire on Friday, marking one of the largest Bitcoin options expiration of the year. Most of these contracts are call options with a maximum pain price for today's options expiration is $48,000, which is the strike price with the most open options contracts. In other words, $48,000 is a strike price that would cause losses for the majority of options holders at expiration. If we continue and make a break for 50k by the end of the day it would force a bunch of buying of Bitcoin and could spark a nice rally over the next few weeks. I would imagine though that market makers will try and hold the price between 47,700-49k to suck the last amount of premium out of these contracts and let them expire worthless.  Next week will truly be telling as new positions are established.

https://tokenist.com/in-depth-bitcoins-5-7-billion-worth-of-options-expire-on-friday/

There is a ton of pressure now that institutions are holding large amounts of crypto and VCs are pumping money into projects. Combine that with there being options and futures available now on Bitcoin and you have a market that is a bit more manipulated. You have over $6 billion worth of options expiring today with a maximum pain price for Friday’s option expiration at $48,000, which is the strike price with the most open options contracts. In other words, $48,000 is a strike price that would cause losses for the majority of options holders at expiration.  Like clockwork, BTC is hovering right around 48k and will likely all day. Next week is when we can expect to see a move in one way or another.

I just saw that you are only 25 days older than me. But the spring of 2018 became a good guide for us, and together we came to this forum. You lack activity merits since you should have been at Legend rank for a long time. But I'm sure it will come very soon.
Our sources are quite generous people. Maybe you shouldn't hesitate and ask them to pay deeper attention to your posts. I saw how generously Ratimov rewards.
I wish you a successful year!
3577  Economy / Reputation / Re: 'Not all 1xbit promoters are scammers' on: January 02, 2022, 06:07:15 AM
Unfortunately, the OP has its clear position of being right. Look at his recent posts. He is desperate to keep promoting this scam. Speaking of honesty and decency, not all people, unfortunately, have a correct understanding of these definitions. Your wellbeing is paramount.
But I see that the number of its negative tags is growing. Therefore, his theme of convincing and accusing us of being cruel to such harmless people as the OP loses all meaning. He will not find allies in understanding here.

Bestchange, I have been using your service for a long time, much more than participating in the company, and I want to thank you for your work! Success and prosperity to your business!

Happy New Year!
3579  Other / Meta / Re: Have you had the feeling of a certain arbitrariness by moderators? on: January 01, 2022, 07:46:59 AM
In fact, the responsibility for keeping the forum clean lies entirely with the moderators, isn't it? And reporters are just assistants. I will not argue with the moderators about whether my report is right or not. We cannot advise doctors on how to treat a patient. Everyone must do their job. In my case, I see complete agreement with the moderators, although I do not take on much responsibility to judge the quality of posts.
But if we talk about sending reports anonymously, then imagine how much work can be shouldered by the moderators? Suppose a newbie starts reporting all posts that are off-topic. His goals can be different, from stupid entertainment to some kind of revenge. And the moderators are obliged to check each post and give their full judgment. What kind of work is this? It seems to me that it is huge.
Isn't it easier to trust those who will not engage in nonsense and send reports for the sake of their interests, having any reputation in the history of reports?
3580  Other / Meta / Re: Ban Appeal for Pokapoka124 on: December 30, 2021, 11:12:47 AM

I'm speaking from memory now but I think DdmrDdmr and Cryptopreneurbrainboss didn't get off to good starts on the forum, and look at them now.

I do not know their stories, but mine, yes, was at the beginning with mistakes.

Plagiarism consisted of copying a post in which they asked about payment in the bounty. It was a few words, as far as I remember. At that time, as a beginner, I loved generosity, because they were shouted about everywhere, from YouTube to the usual flatiron. And I just copied the sentence from their post about payouts, assuming a few words wouldn't look like a copy. A bot was working to detect plagiarism. Then many accounts of any rank died. But I was lucky and I returned. For which I am immensely grateful to the forum. This is probably why I have such a passion for finding plagiarism.
But on the other hand, some were pitied, but he never appreciated all the advantages that were given to him.
