Unfortunately, I have no way of removing my $0.14 from Bitfinex. I'm not going to give them the KYC info required, since I have enough scammers calling me, telling me the feds are going to arrest me within 24 hours unless I call immediately.  Cheesy Also, too small to convert into BTC. They can have my dust;
even though they don't even deserve that.  Angry

Oh shoot. Here I thought that I could dust off my old USB stick miner. I'm way outclassed. Oh well.

Haha I got in with my original 333mh/s USB stick miner Grin Grin Grin
I could dig out my old Rockminer 100GH, but it appears that is outclassed too. Besides, I can't stand the high pitched whine of those fans. Guess I'll have to scrap some BTC together and rent hash at nicehash.

I didn't realize not coding in any seed nodes was a good idea.

Good message to start your coin off.  Wink

Seems the block explorer is offline Sad
At least we have a back up. https://chainz.cryptoid.info/wyv/
I just checked my peer info, and I'm not connected to the seed node at the moment.

3567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BEWARE of POLONIEX BTC WITHDRAWS on: April 09, 2017, 02:49:49 PM
I had a problem where my margin was supposed to be called @ .0052 and it was called at .00619999

Fairly certain the btc withdrawal limit is pegged to fiat..if I'm not mistaken

All withdrawels limits are pegged to USD.
Even if we are withdrawing coins or is it only for withdrawing fiat? I mean I can understand if I am withdrawing dollars yes the limit should be with dollars but is it the same when I want to withdraw bitcoins? Or is there a bitcoin limit for that?
Code:
Level 1 Verification
Daily withdrawal limit $2,000 USD equivalent

Level 2 Verification
Daily withdrawal limit $7,000 USD equivalent

Level 3 Verification
Daily withdrawal limit $25,000 USD equivalent

Enhanced Verification
Individual or Corporate Accounts requiring limits >$25,000 USD equivalent

what's the difference between level 2 and 3? I asume level 2 is ID and stuff. do you have personally visit them for level 3 and reassure them you ain't scum?

Level 2 you need to give out your address, ph# Date Of Birth. Level 3 requires SSN/passport id# and a copy of your government id, as well as you holding the ID.

Maybe it's better to add a coin to the voting list on novaexchange then C-Cex?
https://novaexchange.com/addcoin/
Everyone has one free voice per day.

Someone has to pay .04 BTC just to get it listed for voting. So that won't work either.

If you want, you can vote for Wyvern to be added to C-Cex.

I guess no-one wants to keep 0.1 BTC on C-Cex for even a few moments, to get in a free vote. (Me included.)  Grin
3570  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Poloniex Lending Bot Service on: April 09, 2017, 04:53:16 AM
Is lending on Poloniex always profitable? I want to know if anyone has ever experienced loss of their capital through lending. I am not talking about margin trading the coins, just lending. I am new to Poloniex and want to know which option to pick from.

I took a haircut on Bitfinex with margin lending when everyone was forced to take a haircut due to their "hack." I believe Poloniex also had an incident with a "bug" where they forced everyone to take a socialized loss. The only other risk is if the market makes a move that is so fast and extreme that even after they force the person who was lent coins by you to close their position, they still do not have enough to pay you back. I've been lending on Poloniex for over a year and have not had any losses whatsoever. Since the maintenance margin is 20 % at Poloniex, I would think a whale would have to basically clear the order book on the wrong side in one fell swoop.

3572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Well, well, well, now we know what Jihan Wu’s been up to. on: April 06, 2017, 05:53:46 AM
I do not see any controversy whatsoever in Bitmain optimizing their miners. Just like I do not see card counting as cheating in blackjack. BTW imnotback, I refuse to be relegated to Litecoin, even though I am a purported communist. After getting pissed off over a month ago, because my small time transaction took over a day to confirm, I wanted the scaling problem to be solved, the day before. I didn't care how. Now, I would much prefer neither BU or Segwit get the needed support. Of course, my opinion really doesn't matter at all since my 1.0 BTC of holdings doesn't amount to much. However, I have been thoroughly entertained since June of 2014 with my measly stake. Much cheaper than my unsuccessful attempts at card counting. It may have been giving me an edge,(although I should have probably not tried to drink excessively on several jaunts.)  but the risk of ruin was always far greater for me than any casino due to my disparagingly small bankroll compared to theirs.  Grin
3573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Pre-ANN] 💨💨💨💨💨 DASH2 💨💨 (custom hash) CPU Mining Only on: April 03, 2017, 11:36:25 PM
will be based on ZCASH protocol for CPU mining.
100% ASIC resistant

You said CPU mining with new algo. This algo already has GPU miners. GPU Farms will rule this coin.
Actually CPU only would be subjected to botnets. Then someone would program a GPU miner and possible try to sell it for BTC or mine it themselves and ruin the mining for everyone else. Then try to extort the community and the dev team for a release of GPU miner. a GPU algo is probably the best way to go. The only cpu only that I am aware of (I think it is cpu only still) is Magicoin, XMG. But the only way they get away with it is the punitive reward schedule tied to the difficulty.

Why POS block reward is so small, only 0.024 wyv, and we must wait once again 1 day, for new staking stage??

POS is only 5% interest per year. So the POS reward will be small. This is not really a HYIP coin.
3575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Pre-ANN] 💨💨💨💨💨 DASH2 💨💨 (custom hash) CPU Mining Only on: April 02, 2017, 05:29:06 PM

* 0.9% Pre-mine
that will be use for crowd sale target of 5 BTC.
0.5 BTC will go towards listing on Yobit Exchange
Remaining 1-4.5 BTC for CEX & other Exchanges

Your only goal is to get $5000 to list this coin on several exchanges ?  Then what ?

Having been hacked myself I give 0 support to any sort of hacking coin, fuck hackers.

I highly doubt a single exchange will touch such a coin with such an association.

good luck though.

Nothing to do with hackers. It will be a open P2P coin.

DISCLAIMER: This is not a DASH coin, since DASH name was already in use, we use DASH2 instead for our Digital Association of Scrypt Hackers.

Digital Association of Scrypt Hackers (D A S H 2)

Then your acronym makes no sense whatsoever.  Roll Eyes

Unless you're stuck mining with a GTX 760 like me with only 6MH/s. Grin

All joking aside, this is indeed a very encouraging start for Wyvern, and we are excited to see an enthusiastic community. Now, let's get more people on the bandwagon!

Can someone make a good signature? I'll wear one for free. Don't need a bounty.

everyone seems to be some kind of altcoin fanboy these days...
must be the top for altcoins

Not everyone's a fanboy, this guy's an apologist instead. Would you rather keep your expert status, or switch to being an apologist? There are a few devs who should apologise for creating coins, but they never do.

LOL, an apologist is someone who argues in the defense of something, not apologizes. Strange English language strike again.
3578  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 01, 2017, 12:48:39 AM
lol wtf is Waves?

ICO scam. I remember R0ach got pissed off at them because the developer dumped something like 5000 BTC on the market.

Darn it. The altcoin pumps have stagnated.  Angry I was really enjoying the crazy high interest I was getting from margin lending my BTC on Polio, so I could help tradetards go long on bullshit.  Kiss We need another temporary BTC dip so the alts will heat up again. Cool

Congratulations on your new April Fools day status as both a Bitcoin developer and an Ethereum developer. That's better than my new April Fools day status as an ETC grand poobah. I had forgotten about the April Fools day tricks here last year, and was caught unawares by my new status.

Wow, i don't even know how to program "Hello, World" without a step by step guide.  Grin I'd really screw up a hardfork in royal fashion, I am sure.
