Are you interested in getting 10 GLDCoins for doing only a few minutes of work?
Nah thanks, you can keep your $0.12 USD Lol. Stop posting in GLDCoin threads if you don't have anything useful to say. No, seriously, I did the math, it's around $0.12 USD well then I'm guessin you aint done the maths yet on all your other 'productive' time in these gldcoin threads

I dont care about the mining and all because I am not mining.
What I care is the ones that are dumping coins , this is gonna hurt us all . I mean it is a steep fall from 18's to 11's which is a BIG fall when we are talking about 100k+ volume let alone millions changed everyday.
You should be mining.. maintains the network. Dumping of coins is temporary. Some of us don't have fast computers. I have a 4 year old laptop with a GPU that isn't recognized (ATI 3200 HD). I get at best 40 KH/s out of the CPU. Tried mining GLD only a few hours after it was released and got nothing. Or can you still help maintaining the network if you don't get any coins. I'd do it then. Been helping out with SETI@Home for years and I didn't do that to get money (well some galactic credits would be nice). hey tinus, my minings at 20kh/s and i am still plugging away in pools. minings not my main thing but its making me the odd coin I find I do better when mining dies....seem to get much more shares in the pools ....then when the pools pick up I reap the rewards.

Crying about retarget times and trying to fork the chain when you have a difficulty of SEVEN?? And block reward of FIVE HUNDRED?? Pathetic. Is this the first coin most of you have ever tried to mine? If you are crying about a single digit difficulty on a coin that has a three digit block reward, you need a new hobby.
I'm no expert at mining but gotta say I agree with this.

Any alterations of my project's that I don't approve, or the entire community doesn't approve, will not be tolerated. What he will do is kill the robust network we have, while our wallets try to download his altered chain (just like the attacks we see from bad nodes).
If anyone wants me to change the structure of the code OR if anyone wants to be allowed to modified my project, and the community approves, just let me know.
I would imagine all of this came out while I was away (and some clown was using my account) this weekend, but just an FYI for the future.
I welcome another developer to take over development one day, or assist. But it has to be someone we all agree on because bad things can be put into the code.
Yes yes! We agree the diff adjustment time should be lower, much much lower, because right now the network is stuck on a too high difficulty because of a 2+ GH/s attack. I pm'd you where you could/should join as the majority of the supporters are there I think. We urge you to join in on one of the 2 options that I provided, that is only if you want. You have no clue what your talking about, or whats involved. This is NOT an easy thing to do. With the attacks people have been trying for force a pre-mined 300K blockchain down are throats, this is suicide. Again - the blocks are 500 so the mining could endure difficulty jumps way up to 100+. This coin wasn't designed to be a get rich quick operation. ok someone sensible is back in charge good work gldcoin. your reasoning for what you setup makes sense.

hi bitshirehashaway, thanks for your efforts backing gldcoin.
I think by opinions been known around here. Although price is pretty low, keep volumes up and in play will help it to survive. Best way to keep those trading vols stable is to leave it on just 1 exchange....well for now.
I am no expert in mining so I'll leave opinions on that to people who know more. I am happy just ticking away with mining on the various mining pools getting a few bonus coins. I've got 99% of mine from buying.

is there a way to get a scammer banned? wreaks the whole community.
I gave up on BTC cause I got scammed bad back now after over a year away, now happens within days of returning.
It's your failure to do research or use escrow that led to you being scammed, not the fault of BTC. sorry i don't buy the whole its the victims fault...and its the attitude that made me leave last time....early days it was fun..then soon filled with scamers.
