3566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CRYPTO BULLION (CBX) | Powered by PoSP | Est. 2013 on: May 11, 2016, 02:11:10 PM
I really love CBX and to be honest the only thing that bothers me about CBX is how long it takes for my wallet to sync Sad Arrrgh
lol

You mean you're syncing the blockchain from scratch?
There is a recent bootstrap which you can get from http://cryptobullion.io/storage-use/. You will only have to sync your wallet with the last 10 days or so.
No I'm only syncing from 25k blocks before and it still takes like 4 or 5 hours for my wallet to sync lol

Also encountering this issue before but when it finally synched I have this walllet open before the others now I am synching it in less than 2 hours much faster than before..
I really waiting for you to show up here sir rob I already introduce to sir Von about your site might be helpful if you can work with them using cbx as mode of payments for your projects? it will be a great help to all of us if you can work for it. api is almost ready sir rob.
3567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CarlesPuyol is back trying to build Bankroll in sports betting. Status: +97% ROI on: May 11, 2016, 06:14:08 AM
Too bad that it seems charles lost this bet. Oklahoma city thunder won the match so he lost his parlay. Spurs was doing great at the 3rd quarter , I thought they could have win the game but oklahoma was greater in the 4th quarter, so determined to win the game. This is a great thread although this end up not so well charles

Yeah, NBA playoff is unpredictable though. I have bet on Spurs too following CarlesPuyol bets on that match versus Oklahoma and i lose it, gonna wait for the next bet.
Yes waiting still for sir carles to post another bet I know he just studying it where we can find more secure bet, just give him time we will still support you and if you decided to open the pot just let us know sir carles good luck.
3568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happend to Edoncoin? on: May 11, 2016, 05:15:38 AM
Another scam !
Nowdays Altcoins=Scam. The developer invests a few amount of btc to make an altcoin, launches it, premine or insta-mine happens, get listed on exchanges, developers cash out. Game over.
That's the big reason why many incoming alt and existing alts loses investors because of those scam dev make you think that a good future ahead showing you many future plan but right after hitting certain amount and it will be gone and run away. feel sorry for those investors as we don't have any clear explanation on what happen to this coin.
3569  Economy / Speculation / Re: BUY and SELL IT! on: May 11, 2016, 04:42:35 AM
it showing that btc is not moving too much so much better to buy it now while it is on the momentum to move up and keep it until the price you desire., good luck to your journey on making it from bitcoin.
3570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN - BIGUP] *** BIGUP *** ROKOS! + BigUp.club! + PHASE 2 !!! Big It UP!! on: May 11, 2016, 04:32:31 AM
Quick question. I am curious about the coins on exchanges. Is bigup staking on exchanges main bigup wallets? Probably is, but definitely curious considering the coin has HUGE staking. Also if exchanges are staking are they able to sell at whatever price they want with the staked coins or is there some hidden rule. Again just curious. Not a bigup holder anymore but GoGo BigUp.

This is interesting and applies to all coins as well but I think this question should be first directed to exchanges I just don't know if the dev of Bigup knows the answers to this question..If this is true then they have doubled their profit..

which is correct and possible to control the movement of this coin from their platform hope we can clear this up from here, wallet staking coming from Pos coin is not clear to me, maybe that's the reason why many coins right now doing staking instead of mining it. good luck to whoever can answer us all here. But still Go BIg! BIG UP...

3573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is it to store your bitcoins on a mobile phone? on: May 11, 2016, 03:57:49 AM
If I backup the keys onto my phone's sdcard, don't other apps have temporary access to that file before I delete it? I'm using a Micromax phone and I'm concerned that the phone contains pre-installed malware.

Is it better to just move the money to a wallet on my PC?
It is more safe when you move your money to a wallet on your desktop. your phones SD card might corrupt and you will lose your private key.
try paper wallet, store it in a safe place like banks. or bury them.
well for OP it is not really recommended to save it from your cellphone because the risk that cp might be corrupted anytime and the stability of sd can't assure you that you can handled it properly, desktop wallet would be much safer or placing it in a paper wallet. you can rely more on it mate.
3574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your most valuable altcoin/favorite altcoin? on: May 11, 2016, 03:53:20 AM
If this is for personal favorite and holding alt I can say CBX would be the best for me as of now the transaction is very fast devs continue to work and road plan is not just pump and dump, already working for more development and uses. again OP it is my personal choice and to added up staking is also nice from this coin.
3575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Espers [ESP] | Selling | Buying thread on: May 11, 2016, 03:46:49 AM

3576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should I do to get bitcoins? on: May 11, 2016, 03:42:38 AM

3577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Bitcoin? on: May 11, 2016, 03:19:51 AM
relatively the same and combine perfectly,  buying bitcoin already a gamble for us not knowing what would be the next value after buying it but good thing is when using it for gambling you are hiding your identity and it is easy to work with, no requirements to fill out just your btc address and the amount you wanted to bet. I think gambling and bitcoin i s helping each others to survive more.
3578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] EVOPOINTS (XEV) | POS | 11% APR | PROOF OF INNOVATION | STABLE on: May 11, 2016, 03:14:47 AM
there still no responds coming from sir emerge as we keep posting here, might need to lock this thread if he already abandoned this project, it will be more helpful if he can at least lighten up the community about his plan if there's any incoming plans.

Actually there is no plan at all I read that his co admin have left him then he invited people to be on his team but those who join also start leaving because he only wants the fruits of other people's sweat and effort ..
That's the bad idea over there he also part of the dev who created lisk right? i don't know what happen to that coin just seen from yobit that lisk already been trade and I wonder what happen to those members here who invest with it. so it is better for this thread to be closed if OP/Dev is nothing to work on.
3579  Economy / Gambling / Re: RollinCoin.com - bitcoin Head or Tail game [provably fair] WIN 300% in second! on: May 11, 2016, 03:10:49 AM

3580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 4 types of Gambling on: May 11, 2016, 03:07:18 AM
I have a theory that there are basically 4 types of gambling:

1) All Chance (highest risk): These are games that are basically all left to chance and no skill is involved such as dice or roulette.

2) Mostly Chance but some Skill: These are games like poker or spades where there is some skill involved but you are at the mercy of the cards dealt.

3) Mostly Skill but some Chance: These are games or sports where it is mostly the player's skill that controls the outcome such as golf or bowling where each player plays against the game with the opponent facing the same game independently and under the same conditions.  In these games you can't directly affect the opponent's performance.  Could also be true for a video games where you play against the computer and not head to head against an opponent.

4) All Skill (lowest risk): These are games where you play head to head against an opponent and can affect the opponent's performance and you both are playing under the same conditions.  These are games like chess and pool or sports like basketball.

This is just a theory on how risky betting is in some games or sports.  This doesn't include betting on sports or horse racing where you are just an observer.  What do you think?
good point mate, and for me the number 4 would be the good one to play with, playing head to head, research and make sure that you are betting for the team that have very good chances of winnings, it is a good explanation over there mate. you observed it well and always remember gambling still a gambling.
