See. Now this is progress. Ongoing announcements and partnerships are needed for a coin's longevity. I understand that shitphase was to get the ICO out there, and BigUp did survive the ICO. Next? Create that demand.
I'd say if you get a couple of medium-sized merchants to accept BigUp as payment, you're well on track to hit 100sat+. But don't get misled, readers of this thread, that isn't going to happen any time soon.
But the good news is that you can still buy BigUp for single digit prices. If you're willing to take a risk, this may not be a bad coin to do it in.

I totally agree with you some Ico did not survive the after Ico scenarios but Bigup have been to a lot of updates everyweek or two weeks there is always a new updates this is a coin that is going to survive in 2016 and you'll not going to regret it if you buy Bigup now at 3 sats

BIGUP! BIGUP!
The BigUp community continues to thrive and the BigUp Life continues to grow BIGGER and BIGGER!!
BigUp is unstoppable!!
The BigUp network is already BIG but will now more steadily grow as ROKOS and RaspberryPi users become familiar with the BigUp Life and join to help us all get even BIGGER
Current supporters can now switch more easily to the cost-effective, efficient RaspeberryPi for easy staking too
In addition to the milestones listed above we will be working on getting merchants to accept BigUp. This has always been part of the BigUp design and will be more persistently pursued from this point
Stealth Addresses via BigUp Privacy Wallet is well in progress and more details will be posted about this in the BigUp forum
The value of BigUp is only starting to become realized. It is the support of the BigUp community that has brought this coin to where it is now and it is our BIG community and combined efforts that will take BigUp to new heights and change the way people look at cryptocurrency
Let's All BIG IT UP and make BigUp the coin of 2016 and far into the future!
BigUp Intergalactic!!

hey wallet not syncing stuck on block 103522 (april 30 2016) anyone have any idea? greetz
My wallet is syncing and in fact staking nicely please go back on the main post and get more nodes,Bigup has a lot of nodes and the connection can get you up to 13 connections even if I did not open my wallet for 3 days I can get it sync in just an hour.. thx for feedback. i did a resync of entire blockchain and it's syncing again. i do get (before and after resync of entire blockchain) a lot (like 80%) of orphans, any thoughts on that? greetz Yes it happens a lot but not that huge number of orphan I also want an explanation why we are getting those high number of orphans but over all i still like it I am getting over 50,000 from staking my wallet could have double if all those mined are not orphan Orphan blocks mean the block you created did not propagate to the network before a competing block on the chain. This does not mean you are losing stake though
Stake is based on time not blocks submitted. What this means is that you are rewarded for time holding coins not for the blocks you generate (like with PoW) so if you did not get stake because of an orphed block you will get stake later when your block is accepted
little late, but thx for explaining

Quick question. I am curious about the coins on exchanges. Is bigup staking on exchanges main bigup wallets? Probably is, but definitely curious considering the coin has HUGE staking. Also if exchanges are staking are they able to sell at whatever price they want with the staked coins or is there some hidden rule. Again just curious. Not a bigup holder anymore but GoGo BigUp.

that's also my concern with regarding to a staking coin, if handled by a trade platform in bulk wallet how the staking works where did the rewards goes, so we cant control the price if its handle by the owner of this platform, might be possible that the site owner will benefits from the stake or trade volume that has been deposited from their own wallet. how someone here can answer this.

This is interesting and applies to all coins as well but I think this question should be first directed to exchanges I just don't know if the dev of Bigup knows the answers to this question..If this is true then they have doubled their profit..

But still Go BIg! BIG UP...

LOL @ that 3 sat wall getting constantly reloaded with free staked coins. It's a good thing the "development" has such sweet features as ways to stake coins even easier, that totally removes sell pressure. Whats the bet its BigUpGiddyUp himself reloading that wall.

No problem,in my opinion as long as the development keeps going and the community support is still strong there will come a time that more whales are coming up to buy more Bigup to stabilize the value of this coin..

I would not be specific on how many coins I am staking but I'm getting 4000 to 30,000 Bigup coins daily it varies daily because Bigup is not the only wallet I'm staking, try it and see how profitable it is..

I'm staking way below that amount, twice daily, but lately I'm getting a lot of orphans. What could be reason for that eh?

Happens sometimes when you stake the same time as someone else and there's is accepted and yours not. At least that is what I have been told
