3561  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: is bitcoin taxed in canada on: May 18, 2021, 09:44:44 PM
Is bitcoin taxed in canada? i think I heard it is only taxed when you sell it, and then depends on how much you made.
It is taxed when you sold it already because here goes the gain. And usually, gains are always taxed and if you want to know more about taxation, it's either you to talk to someone who's living in Canada do and have done filed his taxation with his gains through bitcoin.

And the other option that you can do is to contact the tax agency and have a consultation with any taxation professional. Well, some information are searchable through google.

Like this one: Is Bitcoin Taxable In Canada?
3562  Economy / Services / Re: bustadice signature campaign(Ending may 16th) on: May 17, 2021, 05:44:33 AM
1 more week and it should be my 3 years on this campaign and I'm very thankful and glad that I've been part of this great campaign. Yahoo managed it very well and ran it smoothly. It's a pleasure and privilege that I've been chosen, time have been so quick to us.

I'm hoping the continuous success of bustadice and yahoo, thank you very much guys and to devans too.  Smiley
3563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Goldxbtc.com fake gambling website.. on: May 16, 2021, 08:03:59 PM
Yes, that's a trap. I've heard of the same tactic and offer before when a moderator approaches you and tells that they are a moderator or working for a casino and can give you the advantage of winning through an x-deal.

But after you deposit, they'll never to approach you again or if they do. Then, they're going to delay it and it some reasons why you have to wait or have it delayed and until you'll realize that you've been scammed.
3564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: ICP tokens for sale Coinlist accounts available on: May 16, 2021, 02:39:24 PM
It's too risky to sell your coinlist account for someone else. Your account already KYC verified and when someone else who bought your account changed it and then the reward will be disappeared.
The coinlist team will be verifying your account through IP address. The buyer must have dealt with a very big risk of losing the reward in your account.
Your account can be banned anytime by coinlist.
This is a valid point.

And is there a problem for you OP to sell those ICP tokens that you've got? are those from the airdrops that has been years ago from dfinity and you want to pass it on to someone else?

If it's from the airdrop, AFAIK, you'll not be getting all of those at once right?
3565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what do you think about this Bitcoin? on: May 16, 2021, 09:57:07 AM
Bitcoin is currently trying to decide whether it will go up or down. Unless positive news is given, I think the direction will be downward. Let's see what is going to happen.
What you say is out of topic.

@op
Don't withdraw your bitcoin in the form of other chains. I agree with what they say that you should only choose to withdraw to the original network of bitcoin and you can easily find which is which. The other chains have been wrapped but they're not really bitcoin although they're the same in price.

But it's no good, you should withdraw and hold the original one out of it if you want to take it out already.
3566  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Rate the Exchange based on your Experience on: May 16, 2021, 08:41:25 AM
I don't have much complain and need to talk to support most of the time since most of the transactions that I did with different exchanges were satisfying to me. Well, I guess just like the rest, it's about Binance but talking about the platform itself.

We're all sharing the same thought of how good they are. Maybe some others have complains how slow and delay the process in some cases due to the number of customers that are being served but to me, never experienced anything bad.
3567  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance.us been weeks for verification phase? on: May 15, 2021, 10:34:00 PM
Just an update, i suddenly got an email that i was approved today, so it was about 4 weeks, horary.   So if your in the same boat, hang in there/use the form to get it advanced.
That's quite a long week before you've got the verification. But this is a good news for you that you've been finally approved. Now, we've got the idea on how long it usually take when someone applies for a verification with binance.us.

Yes. This is a good reference for the others that might experience the same delay and has no idea how long they should wait.
3568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash ($250) investment on: May 15, 2021, 06:44:00 PM
Choose bitcoin but do it when you've understand already how volatile it is just like the other cryptocurrencies.

You don't need to think of it and choose the other option that you've brought up. If you invest that amount in bitcoin, what's your plan next? you're going to hold it just like majority of the people here? or you're going to think of another coin to invest with another capital that might come to you?

If you're thinking about a certain percentage of profit from any of the two, there's no person that can promise you that.
3569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocurrency wallet password recovery service. on: May 14, 2021, 08:02:29 PM
I won't be using any service about recovery for crypto wallets if they were just newly launched. The website that you've brought is just new.

The popular recovery service that's being suggested by other members of the forum is: https://www.walletrecoveryservices.com/
Seconded with this and no one will really be using it up but doesnt mean that the said service above mentioned by OP cant really be trusted. It is just its hard to trust up a new services
which doesnt have able to established its reputation in the community and this is should how they would really be focusing on where they should gain up trust first about wallet recovery.
Truth to say even with those trusted services existing as of this moment arent 100% completely safe though so it do ends up to your own risk if you can really accept nor deal with it.
If you are really that eager nor desperate on recovering those locked coins then you wont really be having any other option.
If there's nobody has advised that whom is trusted by the community, it's really hard to trust it because there's no feedback nor review for it and I just want to make sure that I won't be the one to say that everyone must give it a try or trust it quickly.

Especially, if it's about people's wallet and balances, it's hard to trust it to a service that you've just heard it for the first time unless and until they've proven themselves.
3570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 10 casino sites on: May 14, 2021, 07:00:10 PM
From that list, I only know 777coin Grin

Maybe @OP can explain where he got that list and the benefit for each gambling site compared to the gambling site that has been promoted here because I think we already have a recommended gambling websites list that we can use to play gambling. We can play gambling without any problem and even if we have a problem, we can contact the support system and ask for help.
That's also what I know but it could be another different casino since there's no "coin" on his list and it's just about 777 casino not 777 coin casino.

And after researching, I've found out that there's really an online casino which has a name of 777 and its website is 777.com.
If that is not 777coin casino, that is different than what I am saying before.

I also tried to do a little search. I found that the gambling site list from @OP does not accept crypto because I do not find any crypto such as bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin or doge. I see the design of almost every gambling site on the list is almost the same as each other, so I assume that website owned by a group or one person who wants to promote his site.
And I think that the thread is a success to them because it made everyone to be curious and started to check their websites just like you and the others too.

While for the 777 casino, there should really be the definition so that it's not going to be confusing if it's the known 777 coin casino or just the plain 777.com that I've said.
3571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto has become the rich man's playground... on: May 14, 2021, 06:04:52 PM
There's always the new trend in crypto and that's why I like on it. Aside from bitcoin being volatile and its move can be influenced by those biggest names not only in crypto but in world's most known people and personalities.

It's not only crypto that they're playing with or influencing. I think they are everywhere just like in stocks when Bezos divorced, he dumped a huge amount of his stocks.
3572  Economy / Economics / Re: How many bitcoins did Tesla earn from selling cars? on: May 14, 2021, 02:10:08 AM
There's no such data that they've disclosed about how much they've earned and received when they were still accepting bitcoins for their cars. But that's a good information and comparison if they're going to release any info or hint of how much they've made.

If ever they've received already and there were purchases that has been done, I think that they've already sold it and was planned properly by Elon before the announcement.

3574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla will accept $ because they're environment friendly on: May 13, 2021, 11:46:56 AM
It is impossible that he never knew that before buying bitcoin. I think everyone is starting to understand what game he's up to. Before, we're all liking him because he likes bitcoin and invest in bitcoin with his company, Tesla.

Can you imagine after buying bitcoin worth $1.5B then he would share a sentiment such as negative as that? he can really influence the market but what if there's a likelihood that he's also one of those who sent the prices down due to his massive selling.

Apart from him, the other huge investors can't be scared by his words.

I have heard some said quick, so the thought of new account occurred to me, not sure if disabling first would cure the tax id thing.
Usually, they really are quick in terms of verifying accounts. But just as Coinbase, they probably are experiencing some continuous queuing and that's why you're also affected by the delay.

Keep on pinging them and have it followed up.
3577  Economy / Economics / Re: US fuel pipeline hack / Ransomware / Impact on Crypto ? on: May 13, 2021, 06:27:28 AM
The latest news about that incident is that they're now back at it again and just restarted. It probably had an effect on crypto but didn't do that much.

What's impactful is the new statement of Elon that they're no longer going to accept bitcoin payments for the purchase of their Tesla cars. After his words, there's a sudden drop of around 6% for bitcoin.

As per the official statement released by Elon, Tesla has stopped accepting Bitcoin because of concerns regarding the fossil fuel usage for Bitcoin mining. It had nothing to do with the pipeline hack, as far as I know. Elon is just trying to manipulate the cryptocurrency market according to his own whims and fancies. Now he will come up with his own PoS shitcoin or promote some already existing shitcoin and claim that it is more environmentally friendly when compared to Bitcoin. This guy is a big fraud.
I'm only giving a comparison of which is impactful than the news about the US pipeline hacking incident.

I think I've clearly said that of which is impactful is not the news about the pipeline hacking but the incident that was recently been made and done by Elon.

3579  Economy / Speculation / Re: How fast do you think will Bitcoin reach $100k? on: May 12, 2021, 11:27:56 PM
However, we might speculate about what bitcoin's future price could be right now, but we never know when the time is right. However, I believe the price of bitcoin will surpass that level this year. Even if the price seems to be struggling to sustain its $ 55k range, the opportunity is still enormous.
Why we're saying that bitcoin is struggling at its current price range? I don't understand why it seems to be that negative for others to look at bitcoin stay at the $50kish level.

I'm confused that they don't recognize and appreciate that bitcoin has been up within less than a year with more than what we can imagine or let's should say that it's been up a lot within a year.
You know people where they do expect from time to time when it comes to price increase. They would always thought and hope that it will have a continous upward movement without
even thinking the reality that market has need to make out some corrections nor moving sideways and to know that it would really be needing some catalyst for it to move higher.
We dont like to see a manipulative like behavior in the market where big green candles and long red ones will be seen in a short span of time.
Better to wait up patiently and play with these movements instead for you to make profits rather than hurrying up yourself.
And with the announcement of Elon that Tesla will be stop receiving bitcoin for payments due to some environmental issues that he sees.

The price dropped to $52k and that's still another price for everyone to realize that there's still plenty of time if they're aiming for $100k or they have a higher standard. Although even without the sudden announcement of him, this has to be expected.
3580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sumo betting seems rigged - can you make profit with it? on: May 12, 2021, 07:55:48 PM
I know that Japanese are one of the most honest people in the world and it's part of their culture. But there really is the chance that a sumo game can be rigged but talking as if I'm sure of it, I can't stand with that as I have never bet with any sumo match.

By the way, in which common sports book we can see sumo wrestling matches to bet on?

They are honest people but in sports like this, rigging is always possible.
We don't know the combination of people involved in this sport, and there will always be a bad apple in the group.
Haven't really followed this sport, so maybe if you are familiar with the players and how they perform, you can spot if something is wrong with the match.
I agree that there would still be people that would stain the good reputation of any sports. As long as there's money involved, there would be some bad intentions that will be made just to make the most of out it whether it would be from the wrestlers or the management itself.

As for the catching if there's something wrong, let's just leave it to those that have been watching sumo wrestling for a long time and they might not be an expert to say but at least they know how to spot it on.
