3561  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW IMPORTANT IS STOP LOSS on: May 13, 2021, 08:39:12 PM

he's an investor, expect him that he's in the long term strategy.

True. As the investor, he or she must put a strategy for the long term. They won't plan to sell their coins in a short time. So, she or she doesn't need a stop-loss feature.

Putting stop loss even if it is for long term is also good if you are able to set it properly. If the market dumps hard like in a bear market, you can buy a coin lower than the price you've bought during this bull season. Prices of cryptocurrencies during those seasons are really low that it is easy for an altcoin to increase 10x when it's bull season again. Stop-loss is very important because it decreases the chance of your portfolio of having massive loss for a long time and enabling us to buy more quantity at a cheaper orice.
Does depend on what you do prefer because not all would really be willing on waiting like forever whenever the price would able to make some recovery unlike when your stop loss been hit
or triggered then that would already be considered as a lost which means you would need to compensate but whatever you would do neither having stop loss or doesnt have the important thing
is that you do able to make profits no matter what kind of method you've been using and this should really be prioritized.
Use all sorts of indicators or tools which would really be beneficial on your part.
3562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: May 13, 2021, 07:59:21 PM
Everyone has their own choice, we choose what we're comfortable with, and some choose altcoins to gamble. For me, I use both altcoins and bitcoin, depending on the market situation of course, but I believe in the long run I would be more focused on altcoins as it is cheaper and faster in terms of confirmation, and I would be able to just keep my bitcoin for a long term investment and gamble altcoins.
If you want to be able to get some profit while still gambling, I would lean on doing altcoin as a payment for gambling instead of bitcoin because bitcoin isn't really a good cryptocurrency to use when gambling given how exponential it can grow, I think someone is better off hodling bitcoin instead of gambling it.

they will rethink to be able to gamble using Bitcoin because they see the growth of Bitcoin can increase significantly. maybe most of the people prefer to invest it for the long term because they realize Bitcoin will be more and more valuable. I think more gamblers are choosing to bet using Altcoins than Bitcoin this time
You cant even tell on that part because btc would be mainly used no matter what the price does it have currently because people will just really be pegging it out on usd value
which means only in units it might differ and some would really be mainly looking on accumulating more bitcoin via doing gambling and yes its a bad idea and its just
more sensible if you do just accumulate or save up those coins instead.Majority wont really matter about investment when they had already allocated some
money for the purpose of gambling but not all people would really be that eager on saving it up.
3563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins or Tokens with a good potential like SHIBA INU. on: May 12, 2021, 07:58:54 PM
Hello,
Can anyone introduce some coins or tokens with a good potential like SHIBA INU?
In the last 24h, that token increased about 468.20%.

Thank you.
I dont see for SHIBA INU to be a potential one but rather a coin that had been hyped up next to Dogecoin and this isnt something new into this market on where
you would really be seeing these kind of coin upward rise without any valid reason nor points for you to consider on why it had pumped.
Asking out on coins or tokens similar to this would really be difficult and this had been the common question of most people because
we do really aim on getting in or involved while its still cheap and hasnt been listed yet because we do all hope to get massive profits.
3564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Manny Pacquiao vs Mikey Garcia in Dubai on July 2021? on: May 12, 2021, 06:53:12 PM
A fight against Mikey Garcia should not be too hard to make but we have yet to hear anything official. If this fight was happening in July then this would be around the time they would start their training camps. The inactivity can't be good for Pacquiao and the longer he remains out of the ring the better it would be to just remain retired.
I don't get Pacquiao though, he should've retired after his defeat against Marquez but he is still pushing on, I admire that he did fight still but there should be a limit and he should retire with his last fight already a win. By the way, I think training camps don't work like that, I think that there should be an announcement of the fight first before doing training.

Manny seems became greedy for money as he have an ambition to became a higher official in Philippines, maybe thats the reason why he didn't left boxing yet since he needs money for running his wants. For me he really needs to retire since he already got a name on this industry and if he's unlucky to get a career ending disease brought by receiving a heavy punch for sure he will regret why he didn't retire while his body still in shape.

Manny has been in the business for more than a decade, and he is not only a fighter now, he is also a promoter who already knows how to run the business. I'm sure he has a backup plan and he can still get a fight this year.

For me, Manny is not greedy, he just wants to fight and the majority of the fans would want to see him fighting.
Retirement is only good if you have nothing to give, but the last fight of Manny prove that he still has a lot to give in boxing.
You can really see that he wont really be minding much about the money that he can possibly earn but rather he do aim for the glory that he would get on very fight that he would need to take
on and its true that he had lots of things getting involvement now not only limited to boxing when it comes or in talks of source of income so i dont really see for this to be a greedy move
but rather he just showing off some passion or the love he does have in the sports of boxing.Dont know on why people do keep talking about retirement
because he's the only one would gonna tell on when he would stop.
3565  Economy / Speculation / Re: CoinDesk editor believes Bitcoin will hit 1 million per coin. on: May 12, 2021, 05:43:58 PM

Although we do not know when the bitcoin price will reach $1M, we need to make more and more bitcoin before it is too late to do that because if the bitcoin price starts increasing, we will hard to do that.
I also believe that the bitcoin price will be at more than the price now and will reach $1M in the future and who knows, that price will not take too long to be reached so we can make a big profit from bitcoin.
I agree with what @Shasha80 said that we need to collect as much bitcoin as possible so we are ready to sell bitcoin at a high price.

I do personally believing that bitcoin has the potential to reach its market exxhange rate at $1Million we may never when but hopefully it will.
I am very much positive that any predicted amount were possible to happen (let's include a red market tag of bitcoin) because of the characteristics of bitcoin being volatile.
I just remember way back three years ago when I first entered here in bitcointalk, there are also a thread asking about if bitcoin will be possibly attain $20k because at that time bitcoin price got dropped to a more than $3k but now here it is bitcoin presenting itself having a market value of $56k.
We do have our own beliefs thats why im not really going against into those numbers on where someone do really believe the price could hit up.
Even though majority will be telling that its impossible but we do know the probabilities that it could really happen basing off into those
past histories of bitcoin on breaking new all time highs but i agree into some point that basing off with mathematics and trying to
calculate off on how much we would able to get the entire cap which would be mostly beating up the fiat system entire cap
which is impossible to believe on.
3566  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: holding is not an easy thing on: May 12, 2021, 04:37:48 PM
I've experienced this kind of situation too, but simply hodling your coins won't get you anywhere. The passive profits you gets in holding your coins is limited, unlike if you do trading, you can maximize your profits, or lose it, depends on your skills in Trading. If you're gonna invest your whole money in cryptocurrency, better to have a job and not rely on your investment in cryptocurrency if you don't want to lose your profits in the long run.

If you have a $1000, invest the $500 on Bitcoin and start your business using that $500, and invest your profits in your business in Bitcoin little by little, that's how you do it.
One thing that also comes into my mind on where you can really make out some comparison in between when you do held off your funds or making some trades with it.
You can really say that trading does really give out that kind of opportunity for you to make profits in a short time without the need of holding for it in years.
But actually this is on self preference because not all could really deal off with the risk involved on actively making out some trades and facing volatility in day to day basis.
This is why some would really just tend to hold off no matter what.
3567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: May 11, 2021, 11:58:43 PM
Did anyone else notice during the press conference when Mayweather was either talking or just holding the mic up to his face, Logan Paul's little brother was untying his shoe laces? I'm not going to lie, I'm not a massive fan of him, but that's quite funny. He definitely knows how to antagonize his opponents, and after all Jake probably does want to get a fight wither Mayweather after the Logan fight, since its big money, and lets be honest that's all these two brothers really care about.

You mean this one?

https://twitter.com/MichaelBensonn/status/1390432368318685186

Yeah, maybe Floyd give him a free pass with this one, but he already take notice of this childish prank from the two. But when he pulled his "Gotcha Hat" Floyd felt disrespected in front of millions so he needs to do something about it, resulting in a brawl.
Surprised on how the two handle out the situation and make out those kind of actions on untying the shoes of Mayweather.I dont see for some disrespect because if you do just tend to see
on how Floyd is been doing then i do consider for it to be one.So its just a tie up  Cheesy
3568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man lost £20,000 in one night after becoming addicted to online gambling! on: May 11, 2021, 11:41:00 PM
I don't know why they are caught up in this moment but I think people know the risks yet they still try.

Yeah everyone knew about how high the risks of lossing money in gambling. Not only that, If someone losses a huge money (like this one), the chances for him ruining his life is at a high percentage.
There could be several reasons why this person ends up lossing this big amount in just 1 night.
1. Chasing losses.
2. Unable to control his temper.
3. The greediness to earn more money.

This isn't about entertainment anymore, gambling addiction is a mental disorder. A person couldn't become addicted immediately in 1 night, this person is regularly gambling online and this time he exceeded to his usual gambling routine that he ended up spending more time and money onto it.

If you do have these kind of motives in mind then you would really be making yourself as an addicted one and you would realize things when its already over or had been already done.

You wouldnt realize those when you are still on the present state and you would be mindful on repaying those money you had borrowed if theres nothing left in your pocket.
You would mess out on your life if you dont know on how to handle up your finances and tending to play with loaned amounts.
3569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Elon? on: May 11, 2021, 10:49:51 PM
So the ‘big day’ for Doge on SNL has come an gone and it turns out that the so called positive announcement from Elon on Doge ends up being a mockery. I’d love to what people think his agenda was in turning the table on his supposed cheerleading of the coin.
People do get easily blinded but there are ones who are aware enough or smart enough on not letting themselves dragged with the hype or shilling on a particular coin.
It just turns out that Elon is a popular and a rich person who can really make things on what he do have in mind.He might be giving out positive vibes with Doge
and mainly supporting it but you dont know on whats happening behind the curtains this is why if you do just tend to dive in for the sake of profits
then you should be mindful on when to get in and when to get out in the market and dont easily fool yourself that it can go further more.
3570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling risks during coronavirus pandemic on: May 11, 2021, 10:16:13 PM
Changing your perspective on gambling probably helps the most. Stop viewing it as a get rich quick scheme - it is purely entertainment.
This is the perspective that's hard to be changed in some people. Yes, the pandemic hits and many people got hit on their jobs.

And if someone has a background in gambling, he would probably say that he'll just gamble as a way to survive and basically that's wrong. But those gamblers who have been living on it for a long time, there's no question with them.
When it comes to desperation times then there would be people to think on that gambling would be the holy grail and saving up themselves though gambling
which is really a very wrong mindset and believe to have this is why its better to look for another alternative which wont connect out to gambling because
instead of earning money then you would just basically losing it up instead and making yourself even way more poorer and would be in problems in terms of
financial. So its better not to make this is an option because this would be the most stupidest decisions that you would make in your entire life.
3571  Economy / Economics / Re: If we have crypto Why people still buy stocks? on: May 11, 2021, 07:37:19 PM
People tell me stock is not a scam and all bs. They know nothing about stock, every stock is a product of scam, don’t trust those stock salesman, they need idiot like you to buy their stock.
Why you think stocks are scam? Which part of it you consider as a scam?

Anyway, if you buy enough stock, you will own the company (majority shareholder). In crypto, if you buy enough crypto you won't own the brand/ticker, you will only become a whale. Can't do anything with your bag except hold it and wait for someone else to buy it.

I agree,  stock investment is totally different from crypto, I will call it a standard way of investment because like it or not stock looks more certain than crypto investment,
Yes if you have enough shares in a company you become owner of majority part of the company whereas in crypto it is not like that, plus you are dividends from your shares, am sure those who still prefer to invest in stocks more than crypto consider this things and other benefits as well.
Yes, here are the benefits that you can get;

Investment Gains
Dividend Income
Multiple Trades
Ownership

Sounds interesting but these gains will just be surely eaten up when you do make out investment on crypto
but of course its bit needing some sort of luck
3572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you limit your gambling time? on: May 10, 2021, 11:50:51 PM

True but you might be more cautious when you have to spend cash instead of cryptocurrencies. I can imagine that some people have a different relation to their crypto than they would have to their cash or even credit card. Addictions always suck no matter what type of addiction it is. Availability and accessibility is an issue often times.
Wont matter on what you would make use neither cash or crypto as long it does have value then its just the same. You would really getting the same chance or odds on getting addicted.
The longer you do make yourself expose to gambling then the higher the risk for you to become attached to it this is why self limitation is always recommended.
Even in other things in life where everything seems to be unbalanced then there would be always a significant consequences or problem attached to that.
Everything should be in control or in moderation.
3573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Your Bitcoin Wallet Be Hacked? How Can You Secure It? on: May 10, 2021, 10:52:38 PM
There are many people in 2021 that have decided Bitcoin is the future - and they aren't wrong either!

One question a lot of people are asking is whether your Bitcoin wallet can be hacked or not - well, can it? And is there a way to secure these funds? https://4king.com/can-your-bitcoin-wallet-be-hacked-how-to-secure-your-funds/

1. Keep your seeds away on other peoples awareness
2. Dont easily install unknown programs or files in the net
3. Be humble and dont boast up that you do hold crypto
4. Always make out some back ups (partitioning phrases or keys on different places)

There are several which i had mentioned but those are having the same concept or  target which is to secure on your funds.
3574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Feel Pressed Something while Gambling on: May 10, 2021, 09:50:33 PM
That is why there is an entrance age to casinos, unless you are above 22 it is not allowed to take an entrance card at the gate. The pressure can be different depending on the personality of a gambler, mostly it depends on the psychological reaction when the red streak goes forever and the urge pushes us to increase bet size in order to break even on the single green. Anyway, it is funny and sad to see degen gamblers can do such shameful behavior during gambling.

Each country does have their own set of rules when it comes to age restriction on different things and i can say that 18 would be the legal age which is common in most countries
but actually getting deal off with things that does need proper awareness and being mature enough to understand on whats the risk.
You would really be ending up with this kind of thinking and decision when you are already too addicted with gambling on where it comes
to the point on where you cant really think up clearly.
3575  Economy / Speculation / Re: new tax rumor on crypto on: May 10, 2021, 07:42:26 PM

I think taxes should be applied if the country protects investors and traders, if there is no protection why pay taxes? yes this is my question,
for me paying taxes is not a problem, but it is a shame if all traders are required to pay taxes, even though not all traders have large capital,
hmm maybe there will be a classification for the pay TAX.

Currently i lived in a country which is considered having a high tax rate among other country and as long as you have earned a lot the more it is higher the tax you're going to pay. Well i am not against on the fact that I will be going to pay tax and the poorest family will benifit it then I will be glad but sadly only a not all tax has been given to them or in any government projects because of corruption and also the fact that this tax may cost me much or even half of earn profit in crypto if ever. But if it would certainly make a positive impact in crypto market then it isn't a big deal at all.
Taxation wont really be giving positive impact to crypto market but rather be an another burden but well it does depend on the government you do have if its corrupt or not.
We cant really deny that citizens are obliged to pay up taxes but since to different regulations and set of laws on each country then this would vary
If ever that taxation on crypto would be given out globally then im sure that it would really be giving us out some difficult choices to make
but wondering on how they would implement it out?
3576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 25 arrested after Rab busts mini casino in Ashulia!! on: May 10, 2021, 05:47:43 PM
^ But how can you do gamble if gambling is against your belief, I mean because gambling is against Islamic law and you are Islam. So I am guessing here and probably you will not do for the sake of your religion and not become a sinner. So if you are in an Islam country, we should respect their law and I think that is really punishable for them once you have caught it. Though we know that gambling will boost the government's economic problem, but if it is against their belief there is nothing we can do is do not abide by the law.
Human is unique. They know that gambling is against their belief but they still gambling because they desperate of making money in other ways. They think that it is okay to make money from gambling to fill their daily needs. They do that because they need money to buy food. But still, that is wrong according to their belief because I am sure there will be other ways to make money to buy their food. Some people still do that even if that is breaking their religion and they become addicted to gambling.
If people can treat money as what it is, they will not use money as a bad thing or evil because they know how to use money. Yes, when it is about getting money, people tend to become greedy and want more than they already got. Some of us forgot that earning fast money will not be possible except if we ask for money from other people, but that can make us lazy and do not want to find a job. You can make money from gambling, but you must know how to treat gambling, not lose money.
Gambling without losses is impossible. Maybe a few will be there winning at the very beginning and quitting it to use the profit on better businesses. Gambling can be a way to make money, but to attain this one should have self control. When a user is into gambling it is quite hard to see him staying within control.
Its normal for a human reaction to have those kind of things in mind when you are winning if you do know into yourself that you had able to make money on the current thing you are engaging
on which would most likely be result into proceeding and hoping for it to make it more big and as part of human behavior on being greedy then this would be the primary emotions
that will surely pop out on the process which would really lead into those decisions on doesnt really care on getting out when still in profits.
Gambling business wont really be profitable if people do win would really be having that kind of self control.
3577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance CEO CZ Defends Binance Smart Chain's Ethereum Copycats on: May 08, 2021, 09:43:08 PM
That’s the competition in this market, if ETH network can’t handle the traffic then others will copy the ideas and do better and fill up the shortage of the existing network. BSC successfully launch the platform and already produced good project as well, though it is still far from the success of ETH network but I still see the value of BSC and its true potential. Binance made a lot of good improvements in the usage of blockchain technology, they compete professionally and I don’t see Binance as a copycats, they play a big role in this market.
We cant really deny that most projects in this market are just copying the same idea all over again and again but to think that only the fittest will survive and they can call it what they want
but nothing beats out if the community would able to consider a particular project.Yes, it might able to copy on some aspects but making out improvements to make it more better
which cant be seen on other projects then that would really be a considerable upgrade or improvement and the majority wont really be eyeing or trying to say that it is copying
for the other projects as well then they can really make those calls but nothing would be change if the community would change up minds.
3578  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: May 08, 2021, 08:41:39 PM
It has been said that this has become Roobet's policy which is part of the law, so the implementation of KYC may be necessary.
I'm sure roobet gamblers will win a big multiplier and then after that they will withdraw now will the drawer do KYC? of course with big money they will do anything for me it's safe if roobet hides the user's identity safely for me this is nothing wrong roobet will definitely do its best

That will be their business because no one knows in the future whether the popular crypto gambling site will be the same as roobet because of the existing regulations?
^Let them be, it up to the gamblers now if they will be preferred to reveal their identity to the Roobet team.
This is also in my mind that should KYC is on a big-money withdrawal, just like if there is wanted to withdraw thousands of dollars, but that is their choice, it is now a part of them to have KYC verification. If you are a small-time gambler that could afford only a small fund to gamble or probably just you want of having fun, probably KYC will really bother you.
If we are talking thousand dollars in withdrawal then theres no doubt that majority of gamblers would definitely do that KYC and thats for the sake of money and trust would only comes next in line.
Just like what others been saying that regulations like this would really be common in next years because government wont really be that blind on letting these businesses would be out of their grasp.
As a business owner then you wont really be having no choice but to deal with it even though this will oppose total anonymity but do we really think that they do love such changes? No its not.
It is just they do need to comply or else you would close your business.
3579  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW IMPORTANT IS STOP LOSS on: May 08, 2021, 07:56:57 PM
Stop loss is very important if you are investing a big amount.
You can set a stop loss at 10% loss so that if market crashes your whole asset don’t get vanished withing few days.
So its very important to set a stop loss.
If you are dong short term trades then SL would be ideal but if not then you would really be just letting those loss to be hanging because the price in the market could eventually recover.

SL is important for those who do make out short trades but for long term and swinging trades then this one wont really be needed. When it comes to importance talks then this one is really needed
if you are really minding about percentage loss of your entire capital. So its up to ones choice if he would decide to make use of it or would just simply wont matter if they commit negative
since they can simply wait for recovery.
3580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An obvious rigging of Sports. on: May 07, 2021, 11:45:13 PM
The reason why we see the problem of rigging games more commonly in a league or sport that does not generate a lot of money is precisely because of that, the money, however someone that is powerful enough can rig games of the highest caliber, for example in the sport of baseball there has been many incidents in which even the World Series is believed to be rigged and many other instances in which this was corroborated so I would not be surprised if this keeps happening all over the world.
Somethings behind about those rigging games on World cup or tourneys is something that has really the money to do so.This isnt talking about small amounts but multi-millions
which those players or management do really agreed upon because they do know on how much they would benefit out but i dont believe that it would be applicable for anybody
due to some ego issues but when we do already talk about big amounts then this is where the story starts.

Rigging games is everywhere and some of them is undetectable and believing that they are indeed real gameplays without any mix of being rigged .
Correct, this happens everywhere, I remember seeing some games at the soccer World Cup that I immediately thought were fixed as it was too obvious that both teams were trying to push the final score in a certain direction, most of the time this was on the groups stage of the World Cup and this happened when one of the favorite teams to win the tournament was in trouble and the other teams were not one of the favorites, it is obvious that under those circumstances the FIFA would prefer the favorite team to go forward so it is possible the game could have been rigged by the FIFA and not an external party.
So as fans, we should really be observant if somethings odd is happening and we arent that blind on not to notice something so lets just deal with it.

There would be corresponding consequences into those illegal actions that would be done so its up to theirs if they would risk out or not but theyre
aware on what would be in exchange once caught.Money is the main factor on why these rigged games do exist, bribe or fixing out for more money
is something shouldnt be tolerated.
