3581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: January 10, 2017, 02:37:12 PM
As users quoted, sure bitcoin has the potential to overcome PayPal. But several features as well ads promoting PayPal reach more users than the bitcoin. PayPal needs to be given complete identity, so this is something similar to a legalized service. This helps government in the taxation.
3582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CoinCare - Bitcoin Insurance on: January 10, 2017, 02:16:54 PM
That's something unique, but when it gets implemented the result will not be similar to the proposal made. The reason is that if he gets good number of beneficiaries to invest then the firm can pay its users the proper amount. So its better to make a perfect and scheduled calculation, so that it won't come under the scam list in a short time period.
3583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If money would not be a problem, would you still gamble? on: January 09, 2017, 12:35:17 PM
If I were rich having good backing of fiat too I'll continue to involve into gambling for more and more profit than fun. Only advantage that I might experience of being rich and gambling is the fear of losing. I won't fear of placing bets and ending in loss because of the money I hold and same money gives a relaxed mind to make perfect decisions before selecting odds for events.
3584  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Can Hit $2K ? on: January 09, 2017, 12:17:14 PM
Most users believe that the price reaches $2000 soon, but I don't think that the price movement happens in a short. Might happen by this year end if the price increase takes place gradually without steep increase and decrease happening often.
3585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Awareness on Local Level on: January 09, 2017, 10:43:23 AM
That's a good initiative from a country that has been getting more adoption compared to the past. Now its good to have more and more spreading for the growth to continue. I believe this seems the right time to spread bitcoin and digital currency usage as the country's economy is down due to demonetisation.
3586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Bitcoins have Tax?? on: January 09, 2017, 10:28:52 AM
Bitcoin doesn't have tax, but based upon the transaction happening within accounts taxes will be levied. Also on just based upon this issue there are countries that make strict regulations for the bitcoin usage within the country.
3587  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: January 09, 2017, 10:11:58 AM
Money laundering is highly possible, but the problem is with transaction. When we need to change the black money to bitcoin, the person who provides bitcoin gets fiat. So if we try through banks surely taxation occurs for the black money. Profitable only if the exchange happens person to person on direct exchanging.
3588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your new year start in gambling! on: January 08, 2017, 03:22:14 PM
I think that this is a bad mindset to enter the new year with. Im my opinion, gambling shouldn't be a big part of someone's life so I wouldn't be in a rush to gamble for a new start in the beginning of a new year. I think that it's only safe to gamble healthy amounts so that it wouldn't make a difference either way.

Well I gambled only the result of my signature campaign so I don't feel too guilty ^.^

And I tried my luck again with next week payment! Spent some times in the casino poker (texas hold'em, where you play against the bank) and went from 17$ to 111$ =D
So it's not good to play too much but when you do 6 times the initial amount that's still a good news!

That's really sad to loose all your earnings go down in gambling. The same happened with me, I too lost around $160 in gambling. But the only difference is that I lost through sports events and you have lost it through casino. The year start has given big loss but the addiction keeps me alive into the gambling network.
3589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how strong is bitcoin really? on: January 08, 2017, 02:31:37 PM
Bitcoin already become cyber space gold. It is the de facto standard for cyber cash. It has large adoptions and is going to all domains. I'd expect bitcoin to hit $2000 in a year or two.
As the economy of bitcoin is becoming stronger, we must also ensure that our wallets are very secure so the moment we will decide to cash out with a big profit, we will be able to realize our dreams. We cannot stop what is happening now, it seems like people are really coming in and they are creating demand which dictates the price go to up consistently.
security would be one thing that should be kept. by guaranteeing security wallet then we can make bitcoin be the strength of the world economy. The world community wants a convenient way of payment and also have a high level of security.

What's been quoted by above mate is already satisfied by the technology as well the security aspects behind the success. Its really hard to get into the wallet of the users. Convenience is always been provided by the bitcoin, also now the important thing needed is the convenience and understanding of the technology by the common people who are not much into technology.
3590  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many Bitcoins are lost forever? on: January 08, 2017, 01:19:05 PM
Recently came through a post in which its described that he had lost 3000btc. It happened just because he lost the access to the wallet in which he had stored the entire thing without diversifying. Very few might have experienced such a big loss and I haven't lost in such a manner and most of my losses were through gambling.
3591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: January 08, 2017, 01:04:59 PM
Bitcoin have already proved its existence and its spreading globally. Due this existence price of BTC is climbing skyrocket soon. But as per topic mentioned "The Future of Money". Actually bitcoin is not just a currency, it has become a solid commodity. Many investors are just staking Bitcoins for future price jump.

People around the world who are into digital currency usage has started to use bitcoin as a solid commodity. It has proven to be strong and long lasting with the volatility similar to national currencies. During the past years users feared of implementing it into their businesses. Now it has got a status similar to the currencies which we use in daily life. This has helped to get more acceptance for bitcoin in several businesses.
3592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: January 07, 2017, 01:29:12 PM
to me when people who become disappointed from every side, then they consider gambling one of the shortest way of making money therefore they try again again to make money in a short period of time but for every time the remain disappointed.
Yeah, this is really happening in other people who really wants to get some profit in a very short time, most especially when they badly needed to have money and they are so desperate to win just to make money, some of them are winning but some of them gets another kind of losing money.

As quoted people in desperate need of money with hope try to make money through gambling. But this is not successful, only very few wins and most ends in loss. Later once again try to earn the loss by getting debts which is the initiation of ruining his own life. To overcome addiction one needs to get at least few wins often to be satisfied.
3593  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: January 07, 2017, 01:14:11 PM
for now peoples believe bitcoin can't replace fiat because most of the payment by fiat such as the necessities of life and I'm sure most users bitcoin exchanging bitcoin them to their country's local currency (fiat)
Yes agree, I never thought that bitcoin is created to replace the fiat money. I am hope as now, easy to use, it could be accepted in many places or many countries and of course the prices always go up but not too significant, I think it's quite up 15% per year.

Indeed it is not created for this but this can also not happen because the currency's are simply protected by banks and the government.
Banks strongly regulate all financial relationships in the world, so they can accurately prevent destroy fiat. Each State is interested in it and will not give bitcoin.

Though banks try regulating user friendly financial system at some instance bitcoin with its potential will overcome the banking system. Right now understanding this banks started adoption of Blockchain technology and initiated their own digital currency. This helps them to keep users attached to the banking system.
3594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Bitcoins have Tax?? on: January 07, 2017, 12:42:40 PM
Bitcoin has not taxes implemented. Bitcoin has fees for the transactions and those go to the miner, that mind the block your transaction is in. Using bit you will still have to pay taxes, but they are not implemented in and never will be.
true. The tax on bitcoin will never be implemented into bitcoin, although the government is trying to implement. then it will never work for bitcoin

As quoted the taxation over bitcoin will not be effective compared to the other transaction. Only based upon the transaction taxes might get levied. More countries fear of legalizing bitcoin just because of the taxation issue.
3595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the last 24 hours on: January 07, 2017, 12:15:09 PM
The price was found quite low around $830, which is now increasing gradually and getting close to $870. Possibly the price might grow over $900 by the days to come. The next peak price increase might take place by the year end.
3596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: January 06, 2017, 01:06:21 PM
Gambling cannot be profitable in the long term no matter how safe you are going to play you are eventually going to lose it to the house edge and that is the fact .Win some and get out take a rest and come back after a while and win some and that is the only tactics i know will win us some coins.
Actually, there are some special methods which can turn gambling into a profitable activity if you know how to use it and change the data to adapt different situation. Moreover, these methods and bots are super cool which can make 1 Bitcoin per day for you. However, experts won't share it and we need to have much Bitcoin in order to purchase them
lol , never purchase any methods/strategy , it is dumb idea.
nothing can make you win in the long run , gambling will never earn you profit in the end, as there is a house edge.
you just full of delusion thinking you can win a lot of bitcoin if you purchase an expensive bullshit strategy?

Yes very true, there will never be a gambler who kept winning from time to time, day to day, in every game. You could win the game but not for every game. There will be times when you lose. It has become a fact from time to time, from any gamblers who start playing from the beginning, there was his stage they lost and it is a very normal thing. There is no way you can get a long-term advantage. Only luck can give it to you.
Still I heard there are many people who are making good money from gambling and on regular basis.

I think these people are really committed to gambling having good experience and skill in gambling, still the number of such people is really few as most of the people do not succeeded in gambling in long run.

As described those were entirely committed to gambling who have faced lot of loss during the start of being into gambling. With hope they continued even after experiencing loss which helped them learn different strategies to be successful. But they move with limitations which keep them stay out of addiction.
3597  Economy / Speculation / Re: HUGE Drop coming! on: January 06, 2017, 10:33:19 AM
Huge drop in price is over, by the weeks to come the price might fluctuate but such a steep decrease similar to that falling from $1166 to value around $900 in a very short span of about two hours time won't happen again. We can expect a sustained growth.
3598  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Are Online Wallets safe ? on: January 06, 2017, 09:35:33 AM
Hi
is it a good idea to store bitcoins in popular online wallets like blockchain.info or coinbase
can these wallets get hacked one day ?

My opinion with blockchain.info it is secured but still no matter how secured it is as long as there are intruders who are wanting to target a site.

For sure they can do something about it same goes applies with coinbase. We cannot say what can happen, but hackers are everywhere.

If you wanted to store your bitcoins safely, just buy your own hardware.

And it aren't always hackers. It could also be a employee of the organisation why steals from inside. Just  use those websites for smaller amounts. In other cases just safe them local on your pc or even better on a hardware wallet.

What's been quoted is unfair. An employee stealing from inside is not at all possible, because it ruins his entire career as well reputation of the industry. For this reason only everywhere we can see different sections like developers, analysts, inspection, content makers and so on. If an employee makes an mistake under some inspection he will be caught red handed. In my personal opinion online wallets were much safer.
3599  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buying More Bitcoins on: January 06, 2017, 06:49:28 AM
Hi,

I just bought more Bitcoins, as it was under 1000$, do you think that it was a good choice?

That's the right choice from you. Sure the price of bitcoin rises more by the coming days, also the price won't go beyond the current price. So buying now sure gives profit in a short or with gradual increase surely benefits you.
3600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: January 06, 2017, 06:15:10 AM
If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? But the question, is that happening? Of course no! why? because it's not realistic to be happen. Well it's only "IF no one spends" my answer is surely the price value of bitcoin will be stock.
Yes I agree with you, everyone will keep use their bitcoin for fulfil the daily needs or other business. But I think if bitcoin circulation is not good, the hoarder can easily influence bitcoin price.

Agreed, as mentioned bitcoin price gets hold if the circulation didn't happen as expected. At the same circulation won't get hold for a long. At least in the gambling purpose circulation happens. Several gambling websites were responsible for transaction of thousands and thousands of bitcoins. On account of this I believe gambling websites make a big role in the circulation and price of bitcoin.
