Still some hardcore hashing going on, 5450 blocks now generated.  Max Keiser may have scored a bit of an own goal on this one. By announcing it early and thanks to coingen it's been ninja'd. If the crypto currency community accept this as the Keisercoin and reject his own version of Keisercoin, these will be worth a fortune. You can't control a decentralised currency. It's the crypto community that legitimises a coin and determines its value. This may be interesting. It's like buying a domain name before a company releases a product. Keisercoin exists now. It's up to the community if they'd prefer if it was in our control, or Max Keiser's. How hilarious would it be if this became the legitimate coin? Major egg on face.  |

look this is so easy any retard can get it, this is not about popularity and shit , it's also not a scam because there was no premine and I think the dev has little to no coins (hence the very few appearances and close to no promotion). If this coin gets any real use (businesses start accepting it) it will BLOW THE FUCK UP in value because it's scarce and hard to mine. so instead of bitching about it spam everything you can with the idea to accept catcoin and you'll see your profits skyrocket.

If you bought the coins > 0.001 BTC each, think of it this way - your downside potential by keeping the coin is that you lose the remainder of the value of what you put (which is less than 45% of what you put in); the upside potential is - well, keep in mind this coin will never exist in more abundance than BTC itself, not many people know about this coin yet, but it is conceptually the most analogous to BTC of all the Scrypt coins. There may be some large holders who are out there trying to manipulate the market to make the coin seem worthless, in the hopes of vacuuming up as many coins as possible while it is still cheap - if so, it's up to you to hold tight and not be tricked by doom and gloom talk. It's never a good idea to act on panicked emotions of the moment - if you really are considering selling off, consider giving yourself 15 minutes to cool off, go take a walk or something, then if you still must, then go ahead, but at least you gave yourself time enough to avoid acting from panic of the moment, this sort of taking time will always improve the quality of decisions. And just remember, a lot of people sold off BTC at $5 each, after it crashed down from $30 each back in 2011, thinking they were limiting their losses. Just imagine what those people must feel about that decision now.

I really like this coin. There's something very down to earth about it. Maybe it's the name or that it's just quietly pacing along, but I like the small PoS stake that should provide much needed stability when it hits an exchange. Feel like I'm a bit late to the game, though. I don't have a great mining rig, so anyone who also deals in other altcoins, I have a trading thread here if you are willing to trade a few grains. I pool mined for about 12 hours. Now I'm going to solo mine for the same amount of time and see where that gets me. |

Denominations;
When sending coins, why don't you have more dominations set up? It would be quite easy to do. In most wallets you can send milli-coins, and micro-coins, but why not actually have a series of actual named denominations? All the coins I've seen have denominations going down, but not up.
Mega Kredit = 1000 Kreditz
Uber Kredit 100 Kreditz
Kredit = 1 Kreditz
Mini Kredit = 0.01 Kreditz
So on. so forth. Maybe there are coins that do this already, I don't know. I prefer dealing with names I can remember though, not mBTC and uBTC.

Any coin that claims it's the next best thing, with promises in vaguely impressive but utterly meaningless crypto-speak in order to obtain a huge amount of Bitcoin investment on the promise of a shiny logo and a lot of words about very little.
Invest in coins that have strong developer support, an active community, and something worthwhile to say. Don't invest in dreams if you can't afford to come back to reality when you wake up.

catcoinforum.com deleted our coinium pool thread and a few posts of mine. When asked about; no specific reason, didnt even know there was such a thread. Re-post your thread, sorry for the inconvenience. So threads & posts seems to be deleted mysteriously it seems... lol. And such a coincidence that the post was criticizing them about sending email & advertising just a single pool. and they're the ones who sent email to registered users and telling them to use poolerino which eventually caused the fork-of-fork... If Poolerino gained 51% of the network and the fork with it, anyone invested in Poolerino would have had a lot of coins to gain. I don't hold much stock in conspiracy theories, though. I don't like what happened at all at Poolerino. That's all I'll say. |
