I’m not really sure about the subject matter of this thread being eggs, but there is no doubt that facilitating trade in bitcoin opens new doors for merchants. It’s great to read that Costa Rica is becoming a place where Bitcoin trade is being normalized and I think as time goes on we’ll continue to see more adoption not just in small countries like Costa Rica, but also larger nations.

There are so many bullish charts out there being posted on various social media sites. My biggest concern at the moment is that it seems like everyone is extremely bullish. That always worries me as the market needs a “wall of worry” to climb. It’s starting to feel like a pullback might be healthy to squeeze some leverage out of the system before we take another step higher.

It looks like Andrew Wiggins will be at the Warriors game today joining his teammates for the first time in weeks as he works his way back into the lineup. Reports are now saying it isn’t problems with his girlfriend but the health of his father that has kept him away from the team. Regardless, it looks like he’ll be back in action in time for a playoff run.

No NBA basketball today unfortunately. I did managed to throw a little something on the Lakers over the Rockets last night but as you can imagine that didn’t pay off anything crazy. The Lakers are back at it again against the Jazz tomorrow which I think will be another good win for them. Almost playoff basketball time when things get real. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

I think more investment doors need to be opened. A lot of wealthy individuals don't want to worry about self-custody or maintaining a wallet. They just want to own something and have it be a part of their portfolio. That's why I think things like a spot ETF for Bitcoin would make a huge difference. By this point most people agree that Bitcoin has value and is worth investing in, but investor protections and options remain something that could use improvement. As Bitcoin becomes as easy to buy as a stock and as well protected as the funds in your brokerage account, I think investment will explode and those of us who got ahead of the investment tidal wave will be well compensated.

I think it's a good idea to use separate emails for Bitcoin activity compared with the rest of your emailing... This makes it very easy to see what something is a scam immediately. I have to say though, I've been in Bitcoin for a long time and I've never had a single reason to respond to an email with a Bitcoin payment ever. I can't even imagine the circumstance that would make me receive an email and think to myself that I need to click a link and then send BTC. The ease at which crypto can be scammed and the impossibilities of recovering it are one of the biggest challenges that onboarding new users will face.

01/04/2021 | | | | | | Crypto was having all attention shift to NFT in 2021 and as valuable digitals art was then, the Admin decided to introduce Fnfts for members and also a marketplace where everyone can put them for sale and you can be lucky to sell fnfts for a whoop of 50BTC, who doesn't like such amount of bitcoin? That was how some people fell for the Joke.

I think this one was my favorite. It showed how a large community can come together to build value so easily. Can you imagine if an actual NFT or shitcoin was released by this forum? It would probably quickly become insanely valued. Not saying that should happen, but it would be extremely entertaining, which Elon Musk always says is the most likely outcome. Maybe merits could morph into their own coin someday... I also appreciated the covid virus April fools joke. It might have been viewed as political, but it showed that at least in the beginning at some level, there were a lot of us who thought covid was a nonsense fear tactic to use as an excuse to print trillions of dollars. Not everyone is blind.

I've been trying to introduce more and more of my friends and family to AI. I don't think most people have any idea at all what AI is capable of doing CURRENTLY. You try to explain and they act like it's a parlor trick or something. I have a friend in the music business who is a songwriter and I blew his mind with ChatGPT. He described a song he wanted to write and in 2 seconds ChatGPT had written an entire song with a chorus and verses... I haven't even begun to show how AI can make movies and images from just a short description... I'm waiting for that to get a little better. Things like 1-click lawsuits, etc... AI is crazy and the world is about to change a great deal.

Well, we didn’t make $30K by the end of March. We were close but I think the US government announcement about all their planned sales might have spooked the market a bit and held the price down. I’m not worried yet though. We are clearly still in an uptrend and getting closer to the halving every day. The name of the game is still dollar cost averaging.

It gets a little dicey betting on games at the end of the year because you never know who has been celebrating getting into the playoffs and who is giving their all to try and make it. The Lakers game today though against a terrible Rockets team while the Lakers are hunting for the final playoff spot without having to enter the play-in tournament should be an easy W.

I read it comes out to something like $4,000,000 worth of Bitcoin being sold by the United States government per day. Pretty crazy number. This reminds me a lot of when Tim Draper bought a ton of BTC in a similar auction around 10 years ago. I think that taught me that big auctions like this usually open the door for new buyers so it might end up being a positive long term.

Look at all the suspected spammers! Y’all need to work on your hand eye coordination a bit. LOL. It isn’t the easiest captcha ever though, that’s for sure. Still, a better April Fool’s prank than the covid prank that left people with their panties in a bunch. Seems this year’s prank is a little more friendly to all. I wonder how it plays on a desktop compared to my mobile.
TIP: Stay low.
Edit: It wants me to do the captcha again because users posted while I was solving it. LOL. Not setting foot on that hamster wheel.

A great win tonight for the Lakers over the Timberwolves. That moves them up into the seventh spot in the playoff race and just behind the Warriors and Clippers to move up out of the play-in tournament. With the Lakers playing great I think there’s a good shot they end up the number 5 or 6 seed. At the very least they should find themselves with a chance at a post season run.

It looks like Andrew Wiggins will be back with the Warriors for the postseason. There are reports he’s back in the Bay Area after being out of town for the last several weeks. This is a good sign that he’s ready to get back to work just in time for another playoff run. Good news for Warriors fans as they will need Wiggins’ defense if they want to compete for a championship.

I'm making a list of coins you can mine with GPUs in 2023. I'm talking about solid, chad and based coins, not the grifting ones.
So far on my list there is;
Conflux Kaspa Ironfish Prasaga Aleo(.)org Minima(.)Global
Anyone have any other suggestions to add this to the list?
I’ve never heard of any of those coins. I can’t say I’d want to hold anything that I don’t need to use for something. I always say the smart thing to do is to use GPUs to mine BTC using a service like NiceHash. That removes the gambling aspect of holding a coin that’s sole purpose is to pump and hope to sell for more later.

There are still a couple of significant hurdles for the Bitcoin market before it’s off to the moon. Besides regulation getting tighter and trying to cut off the on-ramps, the government is also planning to sell $4,000,000 worth of BTC every day (on average) for the rest of the year. Then you also have the mtgox distribution… Once the market gets used to that supply rate we’ll see the halving and then it will be blast off.

Sad I missed out on Blockwatch V1 and was hoping to get in on this.
For what it's worth, you can create your own version [with a personal touch] of Blockwatch V1 while also saving some money in the process... From what I can see, they were using the " Watchy E-Paper Smartwatch kit [by SQFMI]". It's open-source by design [HW and SW], so if you know how to code or you're willing to learn, then it could be the next best thing: Thanks for sharing. That’s a pretty cool project. I’ll have to research it a little more when I have more time to kill. I’m not a watch guy (thankfully or else I would probably be broke) but I am an open source project guy and this seems like a cool one. I wonder what sort of things this watch could be coded to tell you. Anything probably… Great find.

I was just reading about the United States government selling off coins related to Silk Road. This increase in price is even more impressive when you consider the government has been dumping thousands of BTC this month. That shows there is no shortage of buyers. They’re planning a few more auctions this year and it also looks like mtgox funds will be distributed this year. 2024-2025 is going to be crazy when all this selling is behind us.

I’m excited. I hope they are able to make the playoffs. This is two years in a row now he’s supposedly healthy right when the season ends. Lakers vs Timberwolves game tonight will be a good one. They might just end up matchup together in the play-in tournament and both teams are close to being out of it completely. This one will be a fight.

I’ve done this when live betting on sporting events. Basketball games especially can have wild swings in the score early in a game. It isn’t uncommon to have the ability to live bet when the odds change so that you are a winner no matter what the outcome is. It’s somewhat rare for me to do this though, because I’m rarely able to gamble while watching games.
