3581  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go back to bellow $400? on: March 26, 2016, 09:38:30 AM
it is still possible that the price goes below $400 one more time before the rise that we were expecting.
but if this happens, it will be like last time. it will be temporary and will come back up again after a short time.
3582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3 confirmations in 10mins with minimal fees!!! on: March 25, 2016, 01:38:08 PM
i wish OP shared the tx id with us so we could see how lucky or regular this was.
i mean technically it is possible to send bitcoin with 0 fees and still be high priority and get confirmation fast (it should have those three conditions (unless the rule doesn't apply any more)
3583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Shit coin like ADN ,else will 2x10x double your profit ..open discussion on: March 25, 2016, 01:30:07 PM
that is just hype and it is normal in the altcoin market. without it some of the coins couldn't even live one day.
besides exchangers don't care about these things and they definitely are not who keeping these coins alive, all they care is the daily volume and the numbers that if it falls under their set amount they will remove it. so shitcoin devs and/or bag-holders try to pump it (fake) to keep it on the exchanger.
3584  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What a stupid scammer. on: March 25, 2016, 01:25:52 PM
Scamming for $20 is a lame attempt. Users here keep insisting on LBC escrows and claim to have over 4-10 BTC to sell and when users trust them, they fake the escrow and scam users. One user tried to scam me for just $5 by saying he has given a loan of $3 and hence I should trust him. The lending section also is being abused a lot and it leads to more scammers getting benefit by paying loans in time.

haha, dude you should check out the lending section of the forum to really feel how lame some of them are.
many will ask for tiny amount of loan with a brand new account and claim they don't know what is what every day.
3585  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betbit.co is a new dice game with 0.1% house edge and 96% win chance! on: March 25, 2016, 01:19:21 PM
i loved the background, that looks so cool.
a couple of questions though...
why is the number that i have to roll high/low that high? it is 5,000,000

also why isn't there a sign up feature without the need of a social media like facebook?
3586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What was your first gambling experience? on: March 25, 2016, 01:14:43 PM
my first gambling experience was playing dice on PrimeDice.com.
i found out about them on a forum through one of my friends and went there to check it out. i played a little and the first day it was all good and winning but after a while i started losing and lost all my bankroll so i quit gambling for a while Smiley
3587  Economy / Gambling / Re: Most popular gambling sites? on: March 25, 2016, 01:09:18 PM
I'm not sure if I am capable of listing ten popular Bitcoin gambling sites. But, I'd say PrimeDice and DirectBet deserve to be in the top ten popular Bitcoin gambling sites IMHO.

yeah, primedice is most definitely in the top ten most popular list
also i want to add SatoshiDice, cypto-games

you might also want to check a ranking site like alexa to see how much traffic they get, that will show their popularity
3588  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: March 25, 2016, 01:01:24 PM
i like the idea of earning through bitcoin, and only bitcoin as my main job but i don't think i am ready for that yet.

because i think earning through bitcoin as a full time job requires more online skills and i have to do it mostly online, and i lack some of the required skills to do that.
3589  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin prices jump to $600+ in... on: March 25, 2016, 12:59:36 PM
i voted May but there is really no way of telling based on the state we are at. and definitely not based on halvening because halving is not an event that is going to happen suddenly and change everything, the date is set.

i suppose the only thing that can change things is a fix for the block size
3590  Economy / Speculation / Re: How it will go to $0 again? on: March 25, 2016, 12:55:19 PM
The price of bitcoin is stable at a moment and it is rising slowly so we can expect some good price in future too, and bitcoin going to 0 is something impossible in future.
everything is possible in the future, i don't think bitcoin will goes long life it's not mean i'm not believe in bitcoins and i think in the future we will see another bitcoins.

not everything!!
for example this topic is not possible. going to 0 means there should be a flaw in the protocol that makes it vulnerable (which there is none BTW). also going down to even 100-200 is not possible because there is a lot of resistance on the way down.
3591  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: March 25, 2016, 12:53:08 PM
Yes I still believe in bitcoin.I think after halving bitcoin price will increase like $1000 per one bitcoin.
really, I think the price will reach $ 1,000 for 1 bitcoin. but maybe it will happen in the year 2017, and therefore I also still believe in bitcoin

I think it's too big for 1 bitcoin. Maybe around $500-700 for 1 bitcoin, but we don't know what happened next. But i'm sure if the price of bitcoin increase so high, people will more believe in bitcoin.
I'm pretty sure that the price should rise to a new all-time high at about $2000 each because bitcoins has a lot of potential to grow before the halving event

In my opinion everyone should hold their bitcoins in order to make a lot of money in the future so yeah I believe in bitcoins and I believe that we can make a lot of money out of it

i agree that bitcoin has a lot of potential to grow but to fulfill that potential it requires a lot of time and a lot more adoption than it has today.
also some issues must be resolved before moving forward. like the separation of developers into two teams each supporting a different thing.
3592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Suggest me Safest bitcoin wallet on: March 25, 2016, 12:43:47 PM
blockchain.info is a web wallet and it is safe but not the safest wallet you can find.

As they say they always get our password in encrypted form.is that really true?
that is correct. the wallet is stored on their servers as encrypted and opens up in your browser

is there service shuts down will i still have control over it?
since you can have the private keys and/or wallet exported, then yes you can have control by importing that into another wallet.

alternative:
use bitcoin core (it is full node meaning you have to download whole blockchain 7GB)
or use Electrum : SPV wallet meaning you only download block headers (30-40 MB)
3593  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Useful Desktop Applications for Bitcoin ? on: March 23, 2016, 11:41:34 AM
I'm still open for suggestions if you have any , just let me know !

trading bot!

there are a couple of open source bots but they are not so great.
and the closed source bots are rather expensive, or i don't want to spend on them.
so it would be great to have an open source bot that works with major exchangers
3594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting porn sites to accept bitcoin on: March 23, 2016, 11:36:14 AM
in order to get any site or services online to accept bitcoin all we have to do is to ask them.
all of these sites whether it is porn or an online shop have a link named "contact us" if we submit a request and ask them to add bitcoin to their services they would eventually do it in time if they see there is enough people asking for it.
3595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan Considers Regulating Bitcoin as Currency on: March 23, 2016, 11:30:37 AM
Japan has always been a pioneer in many technological fields. so i am so glad to see that they are once again proven that they want to stay with the technological advances and embrace the future instead of living in fear of it like many other countries.
3596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you had one chance... on: March 23, 2016, 11:26:34 AM
20 seconds is a little tough to tell someone all about bitcoin and make them interested, and it only gets harder without any assistance from a PowerPoint presentation or a small video.

for example i can probably introduce bitcoin to others way better with a short PowerPoint presentation or a simple flash video. in that i would stick to the bitcoin features that are unique and interesting like the fast speed on sending a transaction, the low fees and the security. and try not to mention the technical stuff about mining,... and maybe include some speculation about future of price.
3597  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can we make success in Bitcoin Trading ? on: March 23, 2016, 11:21:12 AM
success in trading only takes time and money.

you have to learn a little bit of technical analysis and spend some time reading about all trading related articles. then you have to start studying bitcoin market and how it changes.
after that only time and testing will lead to success.
3598  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: March 23, 2016, 11:17:44 AM
The price is very important. If the value doesnt matter. Than why we have all Bitcoin. The value is very important for us.
Because you can earn some money with it and that is quite good. But you never know what will happen later of course with the value.

i think if you just want to make a quick investment and get rich through buying and then selling bitcoin after a while then yes the price matters very much.

but bitcoin was meant to be used as a P2P currency and not just and investment to buy low sell high. so it doesn't matter how much it is worth as long as it is worth something and you can use it to send money peer to peer.
3599  Economy / Speculation / Re: MMM affect bitcoin price on: March 23, 2016, 11:14:03 AM
MMM can't be talked relating to bitcoin. MMM doesn't have a backing, its just a plan which gives earning based on investment. This will never have impact on our bitcoin's price.

read a couple of these pages, you will find some interesting stuff.

but after all i agree that MMM might have had an effect on bitcoin price but the question is by how much?
anything can have an effect on bitcoin price, anything that causes more people to buy bitcoin. but the effect is sometimes big like silk road and sometimes not. i think MMM's effect is not that big that can create any sort of concern.
3600  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin and Litecoin in 20 years on: March 23, 2016, 11:09:49 AM
i like this comparison and bitcoin is indeed as gold among all the cryptocurrencies.
also litecoin has been keeping up so far with the market cap for a very long time. but sadly i don't see any interesting thing about litecoin, and it seems to me like it is abandoned somehow.
