3581  Economy / Speculation / Re: 60k price recovery achieved on: November 07, 2021, 03:13:26 AM
I think there have been lots of little announcements that have boosted the price up since it dropped back down. It becoming an official currency in El Salvador has given it a lot more credibility in the fiat currency world. Things like Mastercard planning to offer abilities for various cryptocurrencies in future is a huge boost to it - they are one of the few large payment card providers in the world and it will give huge accessibility benefits to Bitcoin when it gets going. Then we have lots of banks announcing that they have plans to allow cryptocurrency purchases in future. Collectively the trend is still positive and this could mean an even higher boost than what you're expecting.
I believe that those small news that happened do not really impact the price right now. El Salvador was a great thing but the day it happened we had a crash, probably man made manipulation as we can guess but those type of stuff are not the main reason why we are seeing these increases over 60k.

It's really two fold in this market, majority buy the news that's why there are FOMO. While whales try to manipulate it by putting a big chunk of sell order to scare small to medium traders and that's what probably happened in the El Salvador news.

I believe that people are hyped about it again and that's it, you do not even need a proper reason to be hyped about something, it could be hyped anyway. So, I believe that we should just let it be, do not search for a reason and you will just be fine. I hope that it will get better, it should be higher than even 100k and we do not need any news for that at all, just a bit higher, then people get hyped and buy more and more and FOMO becomes real and suddenly you see it skyrocketing like crazy. This is why I believe that we are doing fine our own without needing any external push.

Once that hype is build up, it will be called FOMO then, but so far the only the news that will hype bitcoin investors is the Taproot activation which will happen in the second week of this month. So let's see if I'm correct that it might be the catalyst to push the price to a new all time high this month.
3582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON Price Prediction: How Much Will TRX Be Worth In 2021 on: November 07, 2021, 02:31:27 AM
LOL, Tron is dead already, Justin has no longer the power to wand his influence on his followers.

We've seen a lot of coins that really upstage Tron now, even hitting multiple ATH in a year. But Tron remains stagnant, on the contrary it went down hard and up to know it's hard for it to bounce back and have a recovery. I admit that I once a big follower of Tron and I thought that it will be big in the future. But I'm totally wrong and sold early at the end of the year 2020 and it's a good decision on my end.
3583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: November 07, 2021, 02:09:02 AM
The undercards are underway and for those who want to watch the live events here please check this link https://www.facebook.com/103314412143631/videos/665159587810274 I don't know if this is delayed or live but at least we can see the coming action between Caleb Plant and Canelo Alvarez I'm sure this fight will live up to our expectation.

Thanks for the share, yeah, the undercard was already on it's way and we have seen some knock outs already.

But I guess the Caleb Plant vs Saul Alvarez will be like 2 hours from now. Unless all this undercard fights are going to knock out their opponent early in the round then we don't have to wait for too long for the main card. I have Alvarez by KO here, 1.56, yes I know but for me a odd of 1.5 and above it's good enough to throw some good money.
3584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 07, 2021, 01:25:04 AM
^^ I thought that the Djokovic vs Hurkacz match was just two setter. So indeed, if Hurkacz has just enough luck on him, he could have pulled his biggest upset.

And against Medvedev, if Djokovic is the underdog, then it's better to bet on him. I haven't seen him as a betting a underdog for so long, can't remember the last time, maybe against Nadal or Federer.
3585  Other / Off-topic / Re: Deron Williams to fight in an undercard on Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul fight. on: November 07, 2021, 12:43:32 AM
Does Deron Williams losses his money from the time he plays basketball?LOL

Not sure why ex-basketball players are also into this kind of exhibitions, except of course they are looking for a quick and good money in this kind of fights.

And my best guess is that Williams may have been in some bad investments that he needed to recover and have some money fast.
3586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the crypto sportify steps in the stage soon? on: November 06, 2021, 04:49:01 AM
Maybe, the music industry will be the next big thing for crypto.

However, we have seen many projects involving this industry way back in 2017-2018 (I forget the project though), but nothing seems to happen or at least the hype is not there. Maybe musician has been reaping the benefits of digital ever since and that's why the hype in the music industry is not there.
3587  Economy / Speculation / Re: When new ATH? When moon? on: November 06, 2021, 03:49:45 AM
It's been almost 2 weeks since Bitcoin made a new ATH from $65K to $67K. Price is currently (as or writing) around 5% down at $63.5K. But when will we see another new ATH in Bitcoin?

Do any of you still think this is a double top that won't be broken ? How many of you are waiting patiently for 6 figures ?

The new ATH will certainly be in November, possibly even during the next week.
As for the 6-digit Bitcoin price, it is very possible even this year if people will believe that it is a repeat of the situation from 2017. If the gains are slower, I think we will see $100k in February or March.

I wouldn't say it's for certain that we will see a new all time high this month because the price is very unstable right now and it's swinging within $60,000-$61,000.

But the chances are very high, a new all time high is just a couple of thousands of dollars. And we all know that when FOMO set's in, the market can't be stop and there could be massive spike in the horizon. Let's say we remain optimistic, after all we are still in the first week of November and there are a lot of things that can happen before the end of the month.
3588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: November 06, 2021, 03:19:56 AM

So Loma is back after his big win against Nakatani. And then time will be pitted against Richard Commey, a former champion.

Although we can argue that it seems that Loma is just fighting Teo Lopez left-over, but he is doing it more than Lopez though. Lopez has a difficult fight against Nakatani, but Loma just toyed with Nakatani and defeat him via TKO. So the pattern may continue here, I will have Loma winning by stoppage and the fight will not last 12 rounds.

Probably one of the most exciting matches that are still about to happen in this year. A fight of Lomachenko is always beautiful to watch because he is probably the best technical boxer at the moment and his footwork is outstanding and by far the best of any boxer that is active at the moment. That being said he lost a bit of his magic and his aura of being untouchable and unbeatable in his fight against Lopez that he lost quite clearly. I saw that fight back then and i was surprised how inactive Loma was because it looke to me as if he could have done way more during the fight but somehow he could not deliver. I'm glad that he won against Nakatani though and he is also the big favorite against Commey.

Yes, I also consider him one of the best technical boxers we have right now. Too technical, but you won't get bored on his fight. Because when we say technical fighters like Rigo comes into our mind, or Floyd. Defensive and technical fighter.

But Loma is not that kind of technical fighter, he is more of a defensive one, he is more of a offensive boxer and uses his foot placement to trap his opponents and for sure we are going to see it more here in the Commey fight.
3589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 06, 2021, 02:31:52 AM
Really looking for Monfils vs Djokovic, I thought that this one will be good as Monfils is playing good and then what a surprised.

Gaston vs Medvedev in the first now. I have a feeling that Medvedev will take this one in just 2 sets. No offense to Gaston, but then again, when Medvedev is on a roll, hard to stop him.
I would love to see a final between Medvedev and Djokovic, it could be his chance to get his revenge on Medvedev, that's the final I am expecting to happen, I have no doubt that Nole can reach the final, but I am a little concerned about Medvedev because Zverev has been doing good lately, but I think Danil can secure a spot in the final.

Yes, it's just a two set win for Medvedev here.

Who wouldn't love to see Djokovic vs Medvedev in the finals? That would give us fans a lot of reasons to watch the fight live whatever timezone we have right now.

Djokovic vs Hurkacz - hopefully we can see Djokovic dominate this match and move on to the finals.

Medvedev vs Zverev - tough call, not sure who are going to take it, probably go Over with this game.
3590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one are You ? on: November 06, 2021, 01:48:17 AM
Much better if you put it on a sort of poll, so that we will see which will get the most votes here.

I'm no longer an addicted gambler, learn my lessons in a very hard and expensive way.

I'll just gamble when I feel like to going to a land base casino's or play online, sport bet, slots games or even some baccarat games. I'm in no way to make a living out of gambling though, and and I know that once I'm started to roll, all that capital and bankroll are going to lose. So better play with the amount that you can afford to lose.
3591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: November 06, 2021, 01:28:06 AM
The weigh-in and the face-off are very intense, they are not allowed a close face-off and both fighters are ignoring the request of one of the promoters to turn around and face the crowd they just continue to thrash talk each other, even the crowd are also intense shouting USA and Mexico this will be very exciting.

CANELO ALVAREZ VS CALEB PLANT - FULL WEIGH IN & FACE OFF (INTENSE!!)

Yep, both parties are alive in this face-off, Caleb has his own fan base and so is Canelo. But it's obvious, that Canelo has a lot of fans in that stadium.

Caleb looks intense but at the same time very confident as well that he will make history tomorrow night. But I've heard there are still tickets but very selective tickets are only available, (maybe the price is very high and only VIP can afford it). I haven't put my bet yet to be honest, I'm thinking that maybe, just maybe Caleb will have that small chance to create an upset.
3592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 05, 2021, 12:28:57 PM
I think Norrie might qualify and play against Djokovic

Norrie has now lost his match, so I think that's the end of his chances of qualifying for the ATP Finals. There's no remaining tournament that offers enough points for him to make up the deficit, particularly as Hurkacz has won to extend his existing points advantage.
Norrie came close, and has had a great season. If he keeps it up next year, I think he has a decent chance of breaking into the top 8.

Yeah, I thought that Norrie is going to win his match too, I have a parlay with him, but it was obviously got destroyed. Actually is an Over, but he can't forced a third set to keep his hopes alive. When I saw that it was already 5-1 in the tie-break, it was over, no miracle comeback for him. Let's see what he can do next year, a lot of players are also coming up with great performances of their own before the end of the year.
3593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What game do you prefer in gambling? on: November 05, 2021, 12:14:05 AM
Sports betting on the list that the OP has given.

More exciting to bet and I would say that it if you follow a certain player or team, most likely you knows what they can bring in the table during a game or match so you put a bet on them, and good chances of winning too. As compare to dice, which we all know is pure luck based game.
3594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: JP Morgan believes Bitcoin is Overpriced on: November 04, 2021, 10:50:55 PM
JP Morgan analysts say bitcoin's most probable price outcome is to never hit 100k as it is terribly overpriced.  JPMorgan Chase & Co. strategists recently released a report where they mention that Bitcoins's price is overpriced and for it to hit the 100k mark it would need to have volatility decreased. They point out that Bitcoin is now being traded above 60k but the true price for Bitcoin should be $35k.

What do you guys think about this?

Usually this kind of statement is not surprising, and on the contrary, you should hold that the opposite are going to happen here.

Or they just wanted to buy cheap Bitcoin again because they have history of creating FUD or at least jumping on some FUD and then when the market is affected negatively, they are going to buy ton of cheap bitcoin, sell at a a right time to make profit.
3595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: November 04, 2021, 04:17:01 AM
I guess this is a good fight for Loma, fighting an experienced fighter will add more spice to his resume once he wins this fight.

He is not picking easy fights, even in his comeback, he fights a tall Nakatani, but it shows that Loma has recovered by that shoulder injury. Shows his old self with different angles and foot placement in that fight.

A rematch of Lopez would be a big fight, but both fighters are busy now fighter with other challengers and I like this match for Loma which I don't think he will have an easier win compared to his previous fight. On the other hand, Lopez should make his fight happen soon so after Loma wins this fight, they can set up a rematch.

Right, it will be the biggest fight in the division if ever they are going to face each other again.

Hopefully Lopez will give Loma his due rematch. All we wanted to see is that how a fit and 100% and healthy Loma will go against Lopez. During their first fight, Loma try to do it, but it's late already, Lopez has built enough lead on the judges card.
3596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 04, 2021, 01:08:00 AM
I'm surprised there are four people voted for Logan to win this exhibition fight against the old time champion. lol
Tyson was one of the badass in the ring during his time and I doubt Logan did realize that but whatever, I'm sure we'll see another punching bag in the ring during this exhibition fight.

LOL, maybe they just voted for s**t and giggles. But when you've seen Tyson during his prime years, yes he is really a bad ass. Logan knows what he is entering, of course he is after the money here and for sure there will be a lot of safety precautions in this fight.

People are doing something in order for them to make the fight interesting but isn't Tyson is too much for Logan? Well, as far as money moves they can do whatever the hell they want and even if they say that this is for the charity but somehow it's helping the real boxers to make some money since I know for sure this is just for the views.

That's what I said, maybe there will be rule about the size of their gloves or even the ring. And for sure Tyson might be given a order not to go for a knockout because of the size difference.
3597  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 04, 2021, 12:29:17 AM
A few upsets in Paris today, none of which were bets I had on.

Sinner - out
Rublev - out
Swartzman - out
Felix AA - out
Tsitsipas - out (retirement)

Interestingly for points Hurkacz and Norrie are through to the next round.
Norrie in particular needs to progress through as far as he can to get as many
points as he can, now with sinner out can he  get enough points?

And a couple of losses too for us tennis bettors, only Hurkacz was able to win for me, but my parlay got destroyed with those seeded players being ousted.

Not sure though if Norrie will have enough points, but Hurkacz also needed to win this tournament or at least go further as he can because he needed to stay in the top 10.
3598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with the hype on: November 03, 2021, 11:03:29 PM
We have had several hyped coins and token lately and many have been a victim of hyped projects that ended up crashing in not long after attaining a very little profit margin. Been extremely careful with how we go about our analysis will help save a lot. Just wondering why developers would come up with nice projects only to crash after a short while keeping investors in losses.

Thanks for your warning, but it is just a repeat as to what happened in 2017, so it's a deja vu, ICO that time and then we have this meme coins just appearing and then pushing their price to xxx numbers of gains.

And then what follows is a massive drop in price and those who didn't get out was obviously trap and lose a lot of money. So it's going to be a cyclical, noobs pour their money, lose a lot blame the market but at least learn it the very expensive way.
3599  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's new All Time High (ATH) has been reached this year again (X2) on: November 03, 2021, 02:09:55 AM
As expectations, we are looking for 6 digits at least. It might be too high of a expectation, but we all know how Bitcoin's bull run it, there's a lot of FOMO and no body can really stop it, not FUD. And what's more if we have a lot of good news next month like Taproot and ETF. So still the future looks bright and let's wait what December will bring to us.
Every four cycle bitcoin gets 10x rising which means we may get into 6 digits this year but I am afraid of what are the consequences of pandemic going to influence into current bitcoin's four year cycle. I mean pandemic and its consequences must be the biggest difference we have right now from the previous four year cycles of bitcoin. Probably people might allocate lesser fund than usual this time for bitcoin investment still considering the new investors (institutions and governments), I guess we may not experience any such differences.

Of course, we can't go on parabolic rise, majority of us here knows that, sooner or later the bearish cycle will appear whether we like it or not. But as we have been in this crypto market and have seen the ups and downs, for sure we are going to be prepared again for this long crypto winter.

I agree bitcoin Taproot upgrade might be playing a big role how segwit activation played in 2017. We entered into November month still we are trading below to April's ATH. This month must be a crucial one to decide where we are going finish off this year.

Hopefully it will have enough push and it will be the catalyst for that 6 digits run that everyone is expecting. Yes, this last 2 months will be critical, but I'm leaning towards a positive end for this year.
3600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Jonas Sultan vs Carlos Caraballo - October 30, 2021 on: November 03, 2021, 01:21:58 AM
I'm not surprised by the result though, but it was suprising to see that Caraballo has a weak chin he was really exposed in this fight.
Yeah, this fight exposed his glass liked chin and his next opponent will certainly make a game plan to target his weak chin if they will not work on strengthening it, and I don't know if it's possible as Amik Khan had that same problem and that made him struggle once he hits in his weak spot.

Not possible in my opinion, Amir's chin didn't improved when he worked with coach Freddy that time, they can only strengthen his neck and back muscles, after that it's all up to Khan.

I'm not sure about a rematch, but why not? If it will make Sultan more money then why not? MP should strike while the iron is hot.
