3581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs. Fury II: The Rematch is On on: November 29, 2019, 03:40:47 AM
one shot can change everything from Wilder and it was evident from the last fight against Ortiz and it was even a punch to the jaw and yet he got floored which shows his punching power.
If you look at the fight and if you were scoring i saw Wilder loosing all the rounds on points and he was waiting for the right moment to strike and when he went for the killer shot he did not connect in the jaw but got connected in his forehead and eye area and it is not that easy to knock anyone out hitting that area but his power was more than enough to flood Ortiz.
Wilder will be waiting for Tyson to make a mistake and land that heavy hand and that is the beauty of this fight.

I think everyone here is disappointed by Afghanistan’s batting collapse, as all their batman played impatiently and got out quickly. West Indies should be able to wrap up this match tomorrow, unless Afghanistan tail order batman’s decides to offer some resistance. This match only highlights one thing that Afghanistan isn’t ready for test cricket, and they need to focus on building a strong team for this format.
The match will be over by morning session and i was not expecting anything as Afghanistan does have a weak batting line up and none of the players are consistent to score runs and that is the biggest disadvantage but they have good bowlers and they could change the match in any moment but for that to happen the batsman need to score some runs to have some competitive match.
3583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: November 28, 2019, 03:15:43 PM
Rumble Johnson is in the news. We might have a new heavyweight champion on December 2020 if he wins his opening fight for his return in the UFC hehe.
I speculate that his return fight might be versus Francis Ngannou.
I really love the idea about the fight between Anthony Johnson and Francis Ngannou but i do not want that fight to happen for the return fight as he is coming back after a long break and he needs some fights under his belt before fighting a dangerous power house like Francis Ngannou and both have power that could destroy anyone and this will be a fun fight to know who will land the first big punch and Rumble Johnson is really huge right now.
3584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 28, 2019, 11:15:25 AM
Afghanistan is struggling in this match as they lost their sixth wicket and they just lead by 10 runs and there is no way to come back from this situation as no one is giving Javed Ahmadi any chance for recovery as all the batsman are hurrying to get back to the pavilion and this match is not going to last another session and Cornwall is ruthless as he is already picked 10 wickets in the match.
3585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 27, 2019, 09:51:15 AM
Now Sanju Samson is part of 15 member sqad for this T-20 Series. he's replacement opener for Sikhar Dhawan who got injured in Domestic tournament ( Syed Mushtaq Ali T20). hard luck for Dhawan but good opportunity for young Samson, hope this young fella grab this chance with both hands and would like to see new guy opening for Team India instead of KL Rahul.
There was a huge outcry about the omission of Sanju Samson from the team even without giving a chance to play a single game and there were some political support too from Shashi Tharoor and yesterday night there were hints that the BCCI is planning to select him and now we have a replacement for Sikhar Dhawan. I personally would like to see him play for the team and see how he performs.
3586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be realistic for the world to run on cryptocurrencies? on: November 27, 2019, 08:02:29 AM
Probably, what would happen is another cryptocurrency that will take the lead for mass adoption like literally a crypto that will be used by an entire country that possesses a characteristic that is unifying. What I mean is a cryptocurrency that could replace the fiats that we have but will not replace its functionalities to become usable by people. Eventually, the government needs to adjust a lot for other people that are not technologically-inclined so they can utilize it as well.
I am not foreseeing a mass adoption to any cryptocurrency with the current technology, unless we create some other technology so that we will be able to transfer the valuation with a minimal transaction charges, you cannot expect the masses to follow and start purchasing the coin, the government can come up with their version of crypto but i doubt anyone will be using those unless they forces those adoption, so the idea of mass adoption is still a fancy.

The realistic use case of BTCitcoin is to make huge cross boarder transaction which can be used by merchants and traders on a global scale with ease and that is the main use case of BTCitcoin in my opinion.
3587  Other / Meta / Re: A gift to Bitcoin and Bitcointalk forum from three school going kids on: November 24, 2019, 11:06:22 PM
Wow realy impressive work what they have done , all pictures looks awesome and they have some nice skills for painting looks like!
They should be going there way for something with painting or ART like this.
Hopefuly they get the support for it.
Thank you so much and i have sent the screen shot of all the messages posted here and they are really happy and excited and might even post another video thanking everyone. I knew their talents as they used to sent me what they drew and when the admin created this contest i thought i will tell them to do something and the only thing i said is the theme and i gave them the complete freedom for creativity .

Those kids are way better than me  Grin

Well done to you OP also for guiding them. I am guessing they'll be part of the next generation bitcoiners.
Thank you, hopefully they will be interested in learning about it in the future and if so i will be glad to teach them everything about it.

I love the art of children, I immediately realized that these are girls) I also work with children) wonderful work for the tenth anniversary  Smiley
Thank you    Smiley.

The kids really did their best, given their age this is looking very nice and I think that you should post their work in the competition thread. Admin has rewarded them (you) with 50 merits, which means he likes the art, so there is a good chance of winning one of the prizes. Children certainly deserve it, maybe there are serious artists among them Wink
With minimal guidance and just a theme they did this and the communications were done through phone and hence i am proud to see their creative work and  sure i will be meeting them this week. The elder who is 14 years does have an aspiration to become a model and she has some great drawing skills as all of these paintings are done in a drawing book which i gifted earlier.

I think Bitcoin and this forum is one of the places where these creative skills can be developed.
They can draw, design things, and other objects then display them in this forum, or anywhere else in order to get some donations or even to sell them online.
You must add a donation address so you can buy some gifts for them through those donations.
Thank you for the suggestion, i will be meeting them this week and they are excited as i told them about the appreciation they got for their work and they are willing to sell their art work, any donations sent will go completely to them.

BTC address: bc1q9rk7sge8c402lek9fna2talwwq8ajvnw49vv53

The elder one is willing to put up a video for the community to thank everyone and she is happy to demonstrate her drawing skills in the video Smiley.

I'm expecting Australia to win the test match today as I can't see Pakistan surviving the whole day with just 7 wickets remaining. The middle order may put up some fight but I can't see them lasting all day against the fast attack of the Australian bowlers.
Today two matches will be over, India Bangladesh and Pakistan Australia and i am not expecting any magical performance from any of the players from Bangladesh or Pakistan to believe that they can extend the match, New Zealand England match is really interesting as New Zealand is scoring runs with ease and they have a lead of 78 runs and it is difficult to see a result in this match unless we see a batting collapse from England.
3591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can do Governements against Satoshi ? on: November 23, 2019, 07:35:12 PM
He know governements probably want to kill him or want him to work for them so he take the risk to be forgotten forever as a legend.
When he first started the BTCitcoin project Satoshi might be nervous because the government had the power to shut down the project in the initial phase and he might think that it is not that great for him and his personal life but things changed we now have a global market that is accepted in most of the countries and there are many developers who developed coins and projects after that and are walking free without any issue.

Nothing, he predicted everything perfectly, he will comeback one day i think he is already back but to crazy like 10 years ago no one believe him already.
I usually wonder what would have been his scaling solution as he left the project too early to have any major input after releasing the technology, so you cannot say that Satoshi predicted everything perfectly.
3592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Government Could Shutdown Bitcoin? on: November 23, 2019, 06:41:57 PM
I read this article online that the government could stop the Bitcoin? Easily using a simple trick.
Making the bitcoin market price staying in under a 1000$ for a long time and wait for the people to lose interest in it.
The proposition of Just short it. Keep it under $1000 for a long while is not even a trick and it can be performed only in dreams, how about the millions of funds to short those market and how long they will be exhausting their economy when majority of the countries around the world has huge debts, if shorting was a real thing to destroy a market, then you could have seen in the stock market already where US will short the Chinese stock exchange rather than implementing trade restrictions  Tongue Cheesy. The author of the article does not have any idea what she is talking about, she found a tweet and compiled an article without thinking Cheesy.

For each reform every one needs to be on the same page otherwise ICC would collapse, then we might witness another "Kerry Packer" coming from the dead and taking control of World cricket.
It is a possibility that we could see another parallel league starting up like Kerry Packer or the ICL even before the IPL but the ICC has the authority to ban the players playing those tournaments and will put pressure like they did but because there are many cricket leagues around the world for T20 it is a possibility but the ICC and the other cricket boards will kill them as they have complete control over the players as they will never play another international match if they go against them nor they will receive any pension, so none of the players will dare to go against the board.

Smiley Wonderful work of children, children portray the forum as a teen girl
Thank you and yes they are 9,12 and 14 years girls and hence when i saw the portrayal of BTCitcoin and bitcointalk as teen girl i had a smile too as i just asked them to do anything they like from their imagination and it has to relate with the 10 year anniversary of BTCitcoin and the forum. Smiley
3595  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So traders, how much You lose? on: November 23, 2019, 05:08:55 AM
So Everybody like to talk about winning and profits.... But traders honestly how much You are losing?  Daily weekly Monthly?
If you are looking at a business aspect of things, all the negative markets are giving me a huge loss even though i am not trading in the short term but in real terms as long as i am not selling the coins when the market goes down and as long as i am not selling below the entry point i made in BTCitcoin,  i am not having any loss.

Im sure the Beginners lose coz of FOMO.
Why would the beginners loose because of fear of missing out  Roll Eyes. If they have done any form of trading in their life they very well know that the market will recover unless and until there is some issues with the technical aspect of things, we are not facing any of these and hence there is nothing to worry.
3596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 23, 2019, 04:01:17 AM
One of the reasons for the decline in the quality of cricket in the smaller nations is the ICC's policy of allowing foreigners to represent host countries. In no other sport, this is permitted. For example, there are teams such as Hong Kong, UAE, USA and Canada, where none of the 11 players are citizens of that particular country. This actually weakens financially weak sides such as South Africa, Pakistan and West Indies.

If the ICC policy was not there, then Jofra Archer and Chris Jordan will be playing for West Indies, Marnus Labuschagne and Colin Ingram will be playing for South Africa, and Fawad Ahmed and Imran Tahir will be representing Pakistan.
The individuals must be given the priority to live anywhere they want and i do not want any restriction to any of their freedom, these people moved out for a better living and you cannot restrict them and force them back to their home country just because they cannot play a sport, some of the policies ICC made is to support the Arab countries as majority of the players are from outside and none of the players are not even having citizenship and they are just contract players. So the question is where do you draw a line in this situation.
3597  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 23, 2019, 03:05:55 AM
Looks like New Zealand will be getting a lead in their match against England. The 6th wicket partnership (Colin de Grandhomme/BJ Watling) rescued them from big trouble, after they were struggling at 197/5. Both Jofra Archer and Jack Leach looks unimpressive and in total they have gone for 138 runs from 46 overs and took just one wicket.
New Zealand bouncing back and it is expected as they have a long batting line up and majority of them made runs and the New Zealand batsman are testing the patience of the English bowling line up and Jofra cannot bowl all the overs with intensity.

And there was a big surprise in the Australia vs Pakistan test. Steve Smith got out for..... just 4 runs!!! Can you believe that? But Pakistan is still in dire straits, as Australia has build up a lead in excess of 150 runs, with 7 wickets in hand. The outcome is all but certain. The only question is for how long the Pakistani batting lineup can survive against the Australian pacers in the 3rd innings.
Smith completely played the wrong line and got cleaned bowled, even Kohli got out for a duck recently after getting a double century in the match before that, so the battle is on and now Kohli is still in the crease against Bangladesh and most probably he will go on to score another huge century.

Edit: what a catch by Sibley to get rid of Grandhomme  Shocked.
3598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 22, 2019, 08:06:20 PM
Also, are you forgetting the fact that this team made history earlier this year by defeating a team like Australia in their own backyard? This team can defeat any team currently(Strong or Weak).
The main advantage for India right now is the bowling attack they have when it comes to pace variation and the spinners available to win matches in any pitch and they have the batsman to put some scores on the board and so is the reason they are a formidable side right now, when India won in Australia they were missing Smith from the team if i remember correctly and he will make a huge difference in a match if he performs, the New Zealand tour is a good challenge for team India as they are yet to win a series in New Zealand and this is the perfect team to change that history as well.

3600  Economy / Speculation / Re: Never below 10K again... well that didn't stick - Food for thought on: November 22, 2019, 03:24:44 PM
This just shows that a chart tells you what you really want to see. They all obviously saw the other side of the trend and would mention the chance,  but went with what they were biased towards.
This is exactly any observer in the market looks for, they just interpret what they want the market to be and so is the reason you will see many technical analysis and predictions and i never went with any TA nor any predictions as you cannot predict the market in the short term.

The only thing through all of this that makes sense, is the dollar cost averaging strategy. When you go to buy into a speculative market, best not to jump all in at once. Especially if you aren't sure you can hold out for the long term.
Anyone who made a loss in any market jump the gun and invest everything all at once and that is a bad strategy, the market can go either way and you need to have a support level to enter and if the market goes down then you calculate accordingly and evaluate your next entry point and if you want to safest option you can book your profit with every 10 to 20 percentage profit in the market and then repeat the process and if you look at the market these price ranges are common.

I can't find it at the moment but about a while ago I saw a chart showing that you would be profitable even if you started buying in at the ATH, if you had continued to DCA, throughout 2018 into 2019.
If you are entering the market at a regular interval your initial capital will average out and even if you purchase during ATH you will not end up in a loss considering that your gross investment is still giving you the profit.
