361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: G20Meeting: "Crypto-assets do not pose risks to global financial stability" on: March 20, 2018, 07:49:20 AM
Check it up,  THE US 2018 JOINT ECONOMIC REPORT:

https://www.congress.gov/115/crpt/hrpt596/CRPT-115hrpt596.pdf

Quote
Conclusions
Technology presents evolving challenges and generates new
solutions. Blockchain technology essentially stores and transmits
data securely, in large volume, and at high speeds. So far, the
technology has proved largely resistant to hacking, and given this
feature, developers first applied it to digital currencies. Yet
blockchain has many more potential applications, such as portable
medical records and securing the critical financial and energy
infrastructure that the Report identified.
Recommendations
-Policymakers and the public should become more familiar
with digital currencies and other uses of blockchain technology,
which have a wide range of applications in the future.
-Regulators should continue to coordinate among each
other to guarantee coherent policy frameworks,
definitions, and jurisdiction.
 -Policymakers, regulators, and entrepreneurs should
continue to work together to ensure developers can deploy
these new blockchain technologies quickly and in a
manner that protects Americans from fraud, theft, and
abuse, while ensuring compliance with relevant
regulations.
-Government agencies at all levels should consider and
examine new uses for this technology that could make the
government more efficient in performing its functions.

I pay everything with crypto in my country.
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: G20Meeting: "Crypto-assets do not pose risks to global financial stability" on: March 19, 2018, 01:49:29 PM
Good news indeed! I didn't know we broke the 1% value of global economic output, actually that's amazing!

Next bull trend will take how much? 10%? Maybe the whole 25%?!
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can you suggest to new investors in crypto? on: March 16, 2018, 08:04:10 AM
I suggest you divide your money designed for crypto investment in 2 parts.

With 50% you enter the crypto market and you use the rest of the money to buy more every x% of the downfall (where you decide what is x -  minus 50%, 100%).

Always have prepared money (invested but not spent yet on crypto) for emergencies and situations you can't afford to miss.

Nice crypto market moves!

I sure bought a few more BTX at 8$, I guess I have weak hands rebuying at 25, 22, 20, 17, 12, 10, 8.

5$? I am ready to buy more! Cheesy

EDIT: My first BTX purchase was 35$.

I estimate that your purchase at $35 will be average down to $8, between the thumb and the index finger, thanks to the power of airdrops.

A lot of people never realize that part, buy hold get your airdrops lower the average price.

So let’s dump all of us we have profit.  Tongue

Peace

Well the first purchase was just to see how it lands from exchange to wallet, so it was a really small amount. I started the personal buy trend at 25$,  so the average will be <7$ even if I don't purchase more, due to airdrop!

Monero the best one.

370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if Bitcointalk release its own currency ? on: March 14, 2018, 11:42:07 AM
Why? Bitcointalk has "released" the first crypto currency - BITCOIN.
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold backed cryptocurrencies on: March 14, 2018, 10:57:04 AM
How I see them :
We have a coin and we also have n*m millions of $ in gold, which is nice(for us). Well you know how the markets are, they have ups and downs, sometimes they bring you profit sometimes they do not. Our gold is our and it will cover our asses in case of difficulties. But you should buy the coin, it is backed by our gold(platinum, oil, $, sheep...), here you have my word, I promise you that!
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China to have their own digital currency based on blockchain technology on: March 14, 2018, 07:16:11 AM
I don't see how a centralized coin released by a government can change anything. In fact, why do they need a blockchain?

Hi everyone.. Is there any problem in crytopia.. I requested two withdrawls.. But they are pending for 30 minutes... Last week it was instant.... Can anybody help me..? Thanks in advance...

Some have been stuck for weeks.  How much are you trying to transfer?  Try a lower amount like 50 coins at a time.
Two Transactions
$BTX = 23.72
$BTX = 30

What can I do now....

Those are low enough to have gone through.  You can fill out a ticket but that takes weeks too so I’m afraid you’re stuck waiting.  It’s been happening a lot with cryptopia the past 6 weeks or so.

@Vlad2Vlad can you please assure me whether or not I will get my coins in my wallet.. You are really helpful... It is really frustrating.... I never had a issue with Cryptopia.. This is the first time..

I received my coins after a month ++, so it happens with cryptopia to have withdrawals stuck on "Processing", but they always get trough, even if it takes a lot of time.

I looked at the first page but couldn't see it. When will the airdrop end? I see the supply is limited so I don't expect it to last forever.

It will end when the coins from the airdrop addresses will get distributed. According to some people's calculations, 7 May will be the last day of airdrop.

380  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: March 08, 2018, 06:31:27 AM
Four airdrops, worth of thousands of $, I did not receive because cryptopia is holding my coins in "Processing". I don't get it, how is it possible to mess it up so huge, nothing is worse then when an exchange takes your currency and gives you nothing in return. 32+ days and counting, keeping my money.

This is very disappointing and shameful.
You're right, that is why I have been afraid of using it these days. Cryptopia has some major issues about wallets for days and wallets maintenance goes on ridiculous!

Today my order changed from Processing to Cancelled and I withdrew my coins in 1 minute.

Still lost a lot of airdrop coins...
