361  Economy / Economics / Re: Choosing the one | What I think! - Real Job or Full Time Crypto! on: January 27, 2018, 05:45:43 AM
I think it is really a bad idea if you quit your job for full time crypto. I know it gave us opportunity to earn money and sometimes,it gain bigger profit than your salary, but that doesn't mean that you have to quit your job. Isn't it much better if you have both your job and crypto? Besides,It'ss kinda risky specially now that bitcoin's price  is unstable and low. We can't assure that it'll remain forever, although we want to,but we're not the one to decide.
Well, Bitcoin has been unstable ever since it started. Its volatility is an issue that we had been facing from then on. Like most of us said, you just need to have a better handle on your cryptos, use it well. Invest wisely and you don't have to see from this point of view anymore if you did just that. We all know that a lot of us here are making a fortune earning Bitcoin and Altcoin because they are smart on using it. We just have to learn and strive to make the most out of it.
362  Economy / Economics / Re: Choosing the one | What I think! - Real Job or Full Time Crypto! on: January 26, 2018, 06:47:48 PM
Knowing and Doing are two different things. Jumping right into cryptocurrencies without knowing the most important essentials is also just like a real job without any goals for your future career. You are just doing what is told to you or what you should do according to your job and this mindset would bring you to nothing. Knowing what everything is worth is a different matter. You acknowledge the importance of something and for cryptocurrencies, for what is worth, you'll realize what better ways you can do that will suffice your demands like you have a real damn job.

Yes, for sure that people who don't understand the concept of crypto will say that "you just can't rely on earning cryptos alone, it is not a stable source of income" this is true in a sense but it can really be a stable source in a sense only if you will just be wise about how you do it. Another thing is that, for those who don't appreciate earning crypto, you could integrate both your real job and earning crypto at the same time if you don't want to put much effort in cryptocurrencies.
363  Economy / Economics / Re: The lack of financial education on: January 26, 2018, 05:40:13 PM
The youth can't just rely on adults that they will explain or spoon-feed them everything they need to know about the world. They have to learn it in their own ways on how the world works. We are just here to guide and support them in their decisions.
In terms of cryptocurrencies, it is not the government fault that most of the new adopters of cryptos are ignorant about what it really is. In fact, they are obliged to be aware of the risk in entering this world of ours and know the do's and dont's about it.
364  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin.Bitcoin.Bitcoin!!!!!!!!! on: January 26, 2018, 04:35:09 PM
Not expecting any movements from either ways, but am still seeing a possible decline towards $8000 if the resistance @ $10000 proved to be too weak to hold. Also, there aren't much news circulating around to make the traders hyped and go nuts, so probably this kind of stagnation will last for months if momentum hasn't shifted back for the bulls. Somehow it feels 2014-ish since there aren't any major declines or rises, and I'm good with that.
Actually, we could expect a surge anytime soon because of South Korea approving exchanges and the use/trade of cryptocurrencies in their country. Since their move to ban exchanges resulted in a dip in Bitcoin's price because they hold up 20% of all the trade transaction in the whole world. But after some time, they finally approved it although there are some regulations that have been made if traders or investors really want to continue their crypto transactions like they have to register their real-name bank account.
365  Economy / Economics / Re: GARBAGE EVERYWHERE on: January 25, 2018, 09:03:33 AM
This is a garbage thread, and I would bet a significant amount of money that most of the Newbie-Jr. Members who are posting here are alt accounts of OP.  There's not enough detail in OP to know what the hell he's blabbering about.

Wasn't there some sort of recycling business that was related to crypto that turned out to be a scam?  It was in Switzerland or Norway or some such country.  Can't remember exactly.

Take note, this below one of the most bloated shitposts I've read in a while, but I'm not surprised that it unfittingly includes "investing" as part of it, which is standard in these kinds of posts:
garbage is everywhereit was csuse by the undescipline people and it os also one of the problem  now a days  it cause  flood  and many issue, but aside from that garbage has the potential  to convert it to waste energy or to a source of income, and investing.
It seems that they just want to force any word that comes to their mind to relate their shit posts to the topic itself or to cryptocurrencies so that it will not be deleted by moderators but these kind of posts are common with new accounts that are probably an alt account. For the sake of the activity and ranking up, they are disregarding the essence of the forum to be informative and to make an interactive discussion amongst members.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: you have profit in all airdrop? on: January 24, 2018, 10:49:54 AM
Airdrops for me is very traumatic. I've been on a lot of airdrops when I was still a newbie because I thought that it is a good way to earn money at an early stage here in the forum but it proved me wrong. Most coins coming from airdrops are all useless that is the reason they are called shit by many. Another thing is that, most of the airdrops that I joined is a scam or they don't really give the coin at the date they promised they will give it to so it gave me this lind of impression about them.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to start investing with 1$? on: January 24, 2018, 06:36:05 AM
So here I am with about 1.5$ in my poloniex account today. What advice would you give me to make this 1.5$ into 150$ by the end of next year that is 2018?

Anyplace I could get to know about pump n dumps before they happen? Any particular cheap crypto that I should hold onto?
That would be hard for the amount of money you invested in. If you want to gain a huge amount by the end of the year, add more to your initial investment which is that small 1.5$. Come on man, be real! even though it is just an experiment you know well that it is impossible to turn it into 150$ by the end of the year considering that investing in cryptocurrencies takes a lot of time to see the fruit of your investments.
368  Other / Archival / Re: I could be millonaire now (BUT NOT) on: January 24, 2018, 03:22:40 AM
I was close to investing in BTC at the beginning of last year, but it didn't look tangible to me then. Now I'm faced with reality. However, I don't regret it because I now have a chance of making some good profit from BTC. The way up is BTC.
Let's be real here, of course, you still have regrets about not investing in bitcoin when it is still much affordable. I mean you could've earn way more if you did just that compared now when you realized your mistakes and are trying to cope up with it. The rate that you could have earned if you did at the begging of last year is way higher than the chance you now despite the price of bitcoin decreasing a little.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: January 24, 2018, 03:17:19 AM
some have projected altcoin ever surpass bitcoin prices finally fall. they only last some time. while bitcoin survive with very high until recently.Maybe transaction fees are increasing yet I cant see people transferring their funds there, that is not enough reason to do this move.
But if the scaling issues continue and it is not resolved, Bitcoin might be threatened by other cryptocurrencies to take over its position at the top. Although we can see that there is not a single crypto that could come close to the price of Bitcoin right now, it should not ignore the fact that these type of concerns about the transaction fees could give a huge impact on its dominance. We will just hope that miners could find a way to resolve the scaling issues.
370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: List of risks investing in cryptocurrency on: January 23, 2018, 12:52:22 PM
People are loving cryptocurrency.....
but on the other side of a coin
it must have many risks
list all the risk and make people's aware///////////
Everything you do has risk somehow so you should be aware yourself beforehand about these things before you go doing something. You are obliged to do some research about cryptocurrencies so that you will know about these risk and should depend on others to know other risks, it's just a bonus to you to know more about it on other people.
371  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holding will be a risk or not?? on: January 23, 2018, 10:58:52 AM
As indicated by predictions bitcoin should have achieved 15k$ by end of 2017 and fall in first week of jan 2018

In any case, shockingly its effectively reached 17k$ in 2017.

Should I purchase or hold my btc?I don't plan to sell at any point in the near future.
Honestly, holding onto a coin depends on the coin itself so if you think that a coin is something worth to hold on, then you should. In Bitcoin's case, we all know that it is really worth it because of how well we value it and the fact that it is the most dominant coin of all. It is expected that its price will rise significantly this year and achieved new heights but we should not expect that it will happen anytime soon. It could still take time to do so, so you should hold on to that Bitcoin of yours.
372  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Philippine News about cryptocurrency on: January 21, 2018, 03:33:33 PM
About two days ago, naging balita po na ang  ating Central Bank ay nakatanggap ng 12 applicatin ng mga exchanges, ganun na kaganda or kadami ang demands dito sa bansa natin, according din po sa data nila ay around $6Million na po ang nagiging transaction natin monthly. A good news para sa lahat, sa tingin niyo po ba magiging daan na to para maencourage na ang ating gobyerno na ilagay din to sa stock markets?

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/philippine-central-bank-reviewing-12-bitcoin-exchange-applicants/
373  Economy / Economics / Re: plan for the future with bitcoin on: January 20, 2018, 06:21:15 AM
Everybody wants to grow their money in each of their own ways, every money we earn, we have to find a good way to make it go around giving more profit for us in the long run. If I will earn enough Bitcoin, I will venture to a business that I really want and also invest in other cryptocurrencies that I see has a huge potential to give me good profit. Actually, I already have a plan to invest in my current campaign as I see it has a unique idea and feels like it will be a success in the future.
374  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's High Volatility on: January 20, 2018, 05:44:17 AM
As far as i know bitcoin has a high volatility given the fact that it is in demand in the market but i did not expect hat it is so high that it can really go from 1-100 and 100-0.
I want your insights about this volatility of bitcoin.
It is one thing that those who are really committed to Bitcoin take advantage of, despite it being a downside of Bitcoin. If you will be wise enough and think of a way of how you can make situations like a dip or pump be to your advantage, you can earn a decent amount of profit from your investments. You don't really need to fret over these things as it happens almost every time ever since bitcoin's creation.
375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we support altcoins ? on: January 19, 2018, 06:58:30 PM

From a "lets make the world a better place perspective" should we support only bitcoin right now or altcoins also?

Yes, we need to support other altcoins because just like fiat it is much better you have alternative cryptocurrencies. It will also help the market value with each other, it will become less volatile.
I think the point here is that if we should also support Altcoins despite its price compared to Bitcoin. I mean, we all know that most Altcoins are undervalued and most of them don't mean much that is why they are called shitcoins. The way we value and support Bitcoin is nothing compared to Alts because bitcoin is the first and most popular cryptocurrency that we recognized and that is the reason why the price of Alts are way behind bitcoin's.
376  Economy / Economics / Re: Do bitcoin millonaires deserve their wealth? on: January 19, 2018, 07:59:21 AM
It is know that bitcoin has made a few millionaires, but many of these people donīt have any particular knowledge of the economy nor business. Do you think that is a fair situation?
If Bitcoin made them millionaires by now, then they deserve it! That only means that when Bitcoin has just started gaining attention in the world, they saw its potential or yet they just took the risk and invested a lot of their money into it. In result, it really paid-off, all their wait, their patience despite the volatility of Bitcoin's price and the fact that its price back then is not something to be proud of, so yeah! they really deserve what they are now.
377  Economy / Speculation / Re: what happens with bitcoin? on: January 19, 2018, 06:22:40 AM
Now Bitcoin decreased more than 30%, and I think it will continue to decline when issues in some countries prohibit the use of Bitcoin.
The ban on the use of Bitcoin in South Korea and China in exchanges really gave a huge effect on Bitcoin's price. This dip in the price will be a good opportunity to investors to further increase their initial investments. As soon as the bill for the exchanges in South Korea has been made, we will see if what will happen to the price and adjust our strategies to make it to our advantage. So let's just stay calm and be patient, don't get easily carried away.
378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think digital currency will ever replace paper money? on: January 19, 2018, 05:03:50 AM
Personally I say yes as our society becomes increasingly dependent upon technology, digital currency will become a more popular means of paying for different things and it is more effective and instant. I haven't used much physical money in the past 8 years and I rarely had any problems with that.

What do you guys think? Wink
Yes, it will become a more popular mode of payment but not to the point where it would replace fiat money that we had been used to using for a long time.
Have you considered if digital currencies were used as a mode of payment? The high transaction fees that it has, suggests that it would not be feasible to use it for small transactions that we are doing in our everyday lives. So digital currencies can only be used simultaneously alongside fiat money.
379  Economy / Economics / Re: how can the beggars access Bitcoin? on: January 18, 2018, 11:03:23 AM
they can get bitcoin in paper form like what you get when using Bitcoin ATM.

pieces of paper with public and private address after that they can import the private key to any wallet "just show the private key to any scanner" and get the money.

Important point

you must have some knowledge and internet access to use bitcoin.
Considering they will have enough knowledge and resources to use Bitcoin, they can but lets be honest here, we know that it would be hard for them to use it becuase they lack the essentials to fully use cryptocurrencies.
Another thing is that, if they will exchange their fiat money for bitcoin, it would be possible that they can much less that the actual amount of their money.
380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Cause behind the Fall on: January 17, 2018, 05:03:22 PM
That is mainly because of South Korean banning trading of cryptocurrencies entirely or if not, they would impose regulations on the market. Since South Korea became hugely invested in bitcoin with trading becoming mainstream and helping propel the price of bitcoin, so for them banning trading would give a huge toll on the bitcoin's price because they are a huge factor on its surge.
