Better buy NEO on a specific exchange rather than a doubtful seller. The more secure technology is the more smarter the hackers. The people should be aware of anything that is ambiguous things they see, an example is your "fake" NEO that you almost bought from scammer. Lucky for someone like you that you escaped that modus. Newcomers on crypto world should be aware of contract addresses to know the altcoin's legitimacy. It is also sad that these kinds of things are mostly ignored but I think it is better to spread awareness rather than keeping it secret. Or the best way is you just buy on legit exchanges to prevent those things, NEO is available in most exchanges.

Airdrop nowadays needs more effort like sending referrals in order to gain more airdrop tokens which is what I hate. Why I hate? Because only airdrop channels will rise to that kind of method. Also those ICO price indicated will only happen when the ICO reached hardcap or when its demand is already there. This must be a lesson to you. There is a chance that you could go to a wrong altcoin. There are altcoins are just new that has a high potential of growing up to top 100 and there are those that has its road to downfall. Taxes helps a lot , I have seen people frowning over about how they don't want to pay any taxes and as such.
Government ensures that if you earn over a certain amount then for sure you can contribute in the making of your country. It's only if you are able to.
Taxes helps in :

Paying the salary of government employees
Making of roads
Public schools
Parks run by the government
Maintenance fees
Making government hospitals
Making high schools ... The list is endless

We all use all these services at one part of the life or other therefore we can just consider it a little payment for that .
People frown how government is corrupt , it is but not entirely if it was then you woont see new projects coming up in your town or city.

It's just our responsibility to pay taxes, we shouldn't run from it because it will more or so be used for everyone out there in your country , you are indirectly helping others too through paying them , the less advantageous ones.

Also one might say government can print all the money they need , but that's not the case ..the more money a government prints the lower the value of their currency gets which genrally have adverse effects in many sectors.

It is reasonable if your assets is in fiat money but if it is on bitcoin then it has no reason to get tax to it. Another way to get tax on bitcoin is when someone convert it to fiat and that is the only time it would get taxed and nothing else. If the payment method is bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies then the word tax is out of the line. The government doesn't own cryptocurrencies so they have no right to tax it but those things mentioned above are the services the government gives us and that is only when to pay tax for but in the fiat that they produced.

Investment doesn't always into money but also efforts. Doing bounty is not an easy task if you work on such multiple bounties. If you do it full-time then it is considered as a job(?) already since most of your time is only on doing task such as advertising ICOs on social media and the bitcointalk forum itself. Investments doesn't also mean that they are already investors, it is a different word. Those who risking putting their money on such ICO have greater consequences to deal with. For those bounty hunters only efforts are wasted but for those who really invest money could loss a real money. Both have going to lose something but the reward money could erase it all.

Do not always rely on bounty managers. Nowadays almost participants always prefer a bounty with a bounty manager that is well-known since he/she is a legendary member on the forum. It is both the bounty manager and the participant if the ICO bounty is a scam. Since at the first place why they didn't review the ICO's background, the team, the vision, the whitepaper, the product, or anything else that is important to run an ICO. Lets go back to the question, Do you still have time to read the whitepaper before entering into a bounty campaign of certain ICO? I am very curious why a lot of bounty hunters regrets that they did their best to promote a project thru social media campaign and end up being scam.

Is reading the Whitepaper helps a bounty hunter avoid being scam by scam projects?
Do you really read the Whitepaper or just relying on referral of other bounty hunters?

Reading whitepaper is important to save time from scam ICOs or low profile ICOs. What I said low profile is that their altcoin has no chance to pump instead it will collapse until $0. Whitepaper is boring to read but once you are used on reading it, it would help you get rid of trash ICOs to stole money without notice like they are not doing a working product and you as an investor has no idea that the ICO is already dead while you are sitting in front of your device waiting for pump. To prevent this situation then try your best to read and understand the whitepaper.

Some twitter campaign participants will be blacklisted for messing it according to the CEO, some participants are not doing the task well so me as a bounty manager will remove those participants on the bounty campaign. It is not my fault since it is the participants are not doing their job well. Solarex made this bounty to get promoted and not being destroyed. Don't send a personal message that begging to be back at the campaign since my decision is final.

Luckily the first signature that I have joined paid me but the price of its altcoin is not matched with its ICO price. Bad for me since I sold it on lower price but after a month its price almost reached its ICO price. I take it as a lesson and try to hold altcoins and prevent participating the dump, but it doesn't mean that you don't need to dump since some altcoins won't have a chance to grow again so try to believe in your instincts on when the altcoin will drop until it goes zero or else you won't enjoy the bounty you've earned. The more experience the more familiar to those types of coins. And also don't expect ICO price after bounty distribution since most of the bounty hunters will sell it for money immediately so sometimes they sell at low price to get cash easily so better wait a few days before selling to see if the bounty is worth holding or dumping.
