I'm curious to see the result : don't forget to let us know how much you earned after one month here I'm mining Ethereum right now, but thinking about switching some day..

There's already tons of topics like this... Try to do a little bit of research
Today, good GPU are rare to find, just buy anything you can find : RX470/480/570/580 / GT 1070

You should stop trading crypto, learn about value investing, and get richer than everybody on these forums by trading stocks.
Seriously though, anybody on here who tells you they can consistently make more money trading crypto than someone who just buys and holds bitcoin is lying. Almost nobody can beat the market, and it's even harder in crypto than other assets.
Don't trade crypto, trade stocks. Crypto is like a casino, stocks are like a business.

+1 you just have to watch temperature and that's all
Check the monitoring software for your rig, you can have automatic alert in case it becomes too hot (mail + sms)

Windows 10 RDP has functionality issues with miners. I prefer Team Viewer, which allows full control as well as file transfer and is free for personal use. It also has smartphone apps for on the go access.
except teamviewer has its own set of problems with miners, like reducing hashrate on one gpu among other things. if yall are using claymores miners why not use his miner manager, Are you sure Teamviewer reduce hashrate for one gpu ? Never heard about that before Source ? How much would it reduce ? Thanks

I strongly believe in DeepOnion : big community (one of the quickest topic to reach 1000 pages), interesting technology (Tor) and it's only the beginning : it's not yet available on big exchange site (only on NovaExchange) --> Price will rise for sure, buy it now

nice thread, good job !
I would have put more GPU on each motherboard with PCIe risers, though

Yeah, this fork looks interesting, but the "Pre-mining 100m coins" thing is way too much... But we'll see ! who knows ? Any other idea ?

Hi guys, With the next difficulty bomb arriving on September 22nd, our mining rewards will reduce by about 20% (source : https://np.reddit.com/r/EtherMining/comments/6ywlxg/update_from_todays_ethereum_core_dev_call_for/) This will make the Ethereum mining barely profitable... So this is why I create this thread, dedicated to AMD cards : what will you mine after Ethereum ? I have some R9 290 and some RX580, and I'm not sure what I should do... Zcash ? Monero ? Will you sell your rig ? Good luck guys

4 GB is enough for 4 GPU : that's what I used
I would think of a PSU problem : are you sure your GPU / risers / motherboard are correctly powered ? Did you plug the molex on your Asrock ?

I would try the PolarisBiosEditor v1.6 'one-click timing patch' bundled performance strap. I have a Sapphire Pulse RX 580 4GB. With the PBE bundled strap, 1150 MHz core clock, 2050 MHz memory clock, -96 mV underclcok and -15% power limit in Afterburner -dcri 30 I get 29.8 MH/s ETH and 895 MH/s DCR dual mining with 125-145W shown in GPU-Z. https://github.com/jaschaknack/PolarisBiosEditorNice !! Thanks a lot, I'll try that right away Edit : what is the brand of your card's memory ? Hynix or Samsung ?

wow can you share abit about your PSU and riser cable? I tried to overclocked it to 24 Mh and after a week , my riser cable actually got burned and melts Sure no problem, I'm using a Kolink continuum 1200w PSU and 0.3m USB 3.0 PCI-E 1x to16x Extender Riser Card Adapter with SATA Power Cable Hmm , I am using a 1600 W PSU for 6 P106 , is PSU the culprit for my burning? perhaps I share all my specs and configuration here later Even 1000w psu is very good for that amounth of cards. There is no point to put 1600w on rig that max tahe from wall about 850w. And on eth even smaller amounth of power. So if I use a too high watt PSU will actually damage the rig? I think your problem was bad risers. Its is the most common problem. buy some good quality ones and try again. Are there any way to differentiate a good riser and a bad riser? It seems all the same to me haha No way... that's the difficult trick I read that the red one are good, and there's even some new ones in white color with 2 different cables (molex + sata)

Anyone has tried to optimize some RX580 with 4Go of RAM only ? I have a MSI one and managed to get 28 Mh/s but nothing more... Quite a pity

+1 for DeepOnion : it's clearly undervalued today, as it's only listed on NovaExchange When it's gonna be added on other sites, price will pump for sure Buy and hold

Give us your source... Never heard of that elsewhere. Hard fork of Ethereum would be HUGE news and everybody would be talking about it But that would be great for me as I have Etherum in my wallet
