Personal willpower is crucial to resisting gambling. The psychological appeal of gambling must also be considered. We could also promote self-regulation and mindfulness in our culture. Could community support groups or gambling psychology education be helpful? A community that encourages self-awareness and responsible gambling may help us address this issue on a personal and societal level
Agreed. Willpower is what matters the most while support groups do tend to help now and then to a certain extent depending on the members in that particular group based on what I observed.

However, the community that you are expecting exists only in dreams since the reality is that most people don't give a damn about others.

Axar Patel, from India, took all three top order batsmen wickets of Australia. Look like this will be another close finish match, something we are consistently seeing in this series.
Yeah. Axar was brilliant and it didn't surprise me since he is easily one of the best Indian all-rounders these days while Chahar was alright though he was pretty expensive. Bishnoi is turning out to be a good all-rounder too.

On the other hand, it was a weird decision by Australia to rest their key players like Maxwell when this was a do or die match. Anyway, congrats India for winning the series.
363  Economy / Gambling / Re: Introducing BC.Game Support Team: Building Trust and Transparency on: December 01, 2023, 01:28:53 PM
Introducing Trust and Transparency? Seriously? How shameless can you people be? Betnomi first followed by you guys. This has become a trend these days in this forum.

Scam -> Run away -> Return with these so-called support threads!

If you guys really cared about your customers, you'll wouldn't scam them in the first place. For example, look at Sinbad.io who paid everyone properly before leaving.
364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 01, 2023, 06:04:38 AM
Bangladesh looks like they will end up giving up a target close to 350 which is pretty good against the Kiwis as long as they bowl well. If they get Williamson early, the Kiwis are most probably screwed.

The first match should go to the Bongs as long as they do everything right in the 2nd innings.
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 30, 2023, 08:26:33 PM
New Zealand and Bangladesh are evenly matched at the moment in the first test which is why it looks like it will most probably end in a draw. Bongs are performing nicely unexpectedly.

Williamson is back in form across all formats which is great news for the Kiwis in my honest opinion.

But moreover, from a statistics gotten from "similarweb.com" it shows that "Rollbit.com" get amount 2million site visit every month, of which an average time spent each visit is roughly 8 minutes, of which if only 10% of the 2 million estimated site visits do people gamble minimum of $1, then that means they may likely be generating over $200,000 monthly. But this is just a rough estimate, it could be more or lesser than this.
I feel that particular figure isn't accurate since visitors don't really equate to gamblers gambling. Some of them just check stuff out here and there and don't invest a single penny. Window shoppers basically!

Rollbit is earning well for sure though since they launched a new game along with an exclusive signature campaign for it which implies that they aren't short of funds.

Being a Pakistani we really miss Shoaib Akhtar. He was a good bowler. I remember that match in which he bowled and the batsman was Sourav Ganguly and Shoaib Akhtar Broke the Ribs of him.
Broke his ribs? Are you actually making fun of a cricketer getting hurt badly by another cricketer? If you are, you are messed up in the head. If not, I guess I misunderstood what you wrote.

Also, Akhtar is a legendary bowler for sure, but he did get destroyed by batsmen like Tendulkar etc now and then.
368  Economy / Economics / Re: Black Friday deals and your plan to hold bitcoins. on: November 30, 2023, 05:38:47 AM
Black friday sales are usually only awesome in countries like the US and Canada. Personally, I am a big fan of black friday and cyber monday which is why I save up and buy whatever I require during these days.

Purchased a Quest 3 this year during the BF-CM week using some of my crypto though I didn't really get a discount since it launched very recently, but I did get a free game and Quest+.

If Pant regains his usual form and fitness then he would be the strongest contender for captaincy but only in Red ball cricket because for red ball you have to consider Home/Away conditions as well and he fits the bill for every condition. Rahul can challenge him in the test format if he starts working on his wicket-keeping, especially on turning wickets, plus agrees to bat in the middle order.
True. I feel that he would be a strong contender not just in tests, but in the T-20 format too. I see Pant, Rahul and Iyer being great potential contenders for captaincy in the future once Rohit steps down.

Hardik was pretty average as a captain so far which is why I feel that he should just focus on playing as an all-rounder which is what he does best.

The Bitcasino Bitcoin Predictor Contest has been announced and one of mine is the winner.  Grin Kiss

Didn't expect to win for the first time.
Very happy with this announcement and thanks to Bitcasino for the contest.
Congrats! Mine was a decent distance away since I was expecting it to fall a bit more thanks to the Binance controversy which weirdly didn't happen. BTC keeps moving closer to the $40K mark.

Also, it's crazy seeing how close the predictions of all 3 winners were with 2nd and 3rd literally predicting the same amount.
371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 29, 2023, 04:45:43 AM
So I think you are being too hard on these young guys. If they don't get a chance in such bilateral then what's the use of India A performances? The majority of young guys come into the national team after performing for India A, they are not airdropped.
I disagree. I evaluated their performances over a long period of time(Not a short period) which is why I stand by whatever I stated. There are far better bowlers in comparison, but they aren't getting their chances thanks to these bad performers.

Bishnoi and Axar are the only ones who I like among them. Axar is easily one of the best all-rounders for India across all formats.

If he compounded every bet to get a bigger profit, he didn't think he would necessarily achieve it. It could be that he will lose due to luck.
What you are saying makes no sense because bets aren't influenced by the amount or anything else for that matter.

You can compound your bet every time you win but that would also means someone needs to match the stake otherwise you wont be able to start the game. This is a player vs player game though so even if you have all those balance to stake, the game wont start if someone doesnt feel like wagering that much against you. Especially if you are on a winning streak

I probably have lost 3/3 against few players that is on winning streak, that taught me a lesson not to challenge someone on winning streak though  Roll Eyes
Bigger stakes can get matched with time, but you need to stay patient since this isn't a get rich quick scheme which is why he would have earned $80K if he compounded as I mentioned. Also, winning/losing streaks don't influence luck.
373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 28, 2023, 12:59:29 PM
Why do I feel like India will lose the next 2 matches setting up a big finale between both teams later on where they will ultimately end up winning? If this actually happens, it would be great for the viewers and the boards.

Good occasion to learn from veterans like Williamson/Miller/Rashid. Rashid is just 25 years old but he looks old and mature.
Rashid is just 25? No way. He seems like he is in his 30s at the very least.
374  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: November 28, 2023, 06:16:48 AM
Just noticed that some dude went on a 14 freaking win streak in the duel arena game which could have resulted in insane profit if he would have kept compounding each bet, but he didn't.

$10 -> $80K is truly something else and it's definitely possible since you can find high rollers playing this game now and then.
375  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: November 27, 2023, 06:53:36 PM
This is exactly my point on my above opinion. It will cost them double or triple the amount by buying a Bitcointalk then join to their campaign while they are paying their employee at the same time to do the posting job instead of hiring someone here in the forum that willing to sacrifice the account for the pay.

Most of the previous participants is still active when the campaign was close and some of them joined on Stake.com. Although there’s a basis that most of their participants is bought account but not to the point which 1xbit do it by themselves why they can pay the weekly rate easily.
You guys are underestimating 1xbit like crazy since they are far more richer and powerful than you think. They are connected to sites like 1xbet which is one of the most famous gambling sites in the world.

Buying Bitcointalk accounts and paying them is like peanuts to them. Why do you think they are functioning even after so many scam accusations against them? Think!
376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 27, 2023, 02:19:00 PM
Glenn Maxwell wanted to keep Virat's jersey as a memento of scoring the most individual runs in the World Cup. The friendship between Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell will be immortalized in cricket history. Maxwell taught us that it is more important to share a friend's sorrow than to celebrate one's own happiness. And our low-taste communal audience has gone to Facebook to take revenge! Some people are still scratching their heads!
They do share a friendly bond thanks to IPL which is why he felt bad for Kohli just like many others around the world, but he isn't a saint or anything like you are making him out to be to be honest.

Maxwell recently liked an Australian social media pic which made fun of Indians losing like babies. Australians aren't really known for their kindness etc generally.
377  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto Sportsbook to handle large bets? on: November 27, 2023, 05:27:45 AM
Sorry but I am going to have to call BS on this. I do not think that any sportsbook could handle a $45 million dollar bet nor am I sure whether they would accept such a bet, due to the reason (I suspect) that they do not have enough money to pay the gambler off, should he win.

Casinos are all about people betting normal amounts many, many times. Because thats how they win with probability (since they have the house edge). But they themselves are not risk-takers. And a 45 Mill bet is too high a risk to take without insurance.
You clearly misunderstood what he stated just like so many others in this thread which is pretty embarassing. He stated that he wagered millions, but he never mentioned that he wagered it all on a single bet.

I'm not a huge fan of any of the crypto sites. If you're in the US its best to stick with the regulated companies.
Fanduels, Draftkings, Unibet, Betrivers etc? They limit pretty quickly which is why some crypto books are a great alternative.
378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 26, 2023, 07:42:25 PM
No need to get too excited, it's just a bilateral series that is considered a testing ground for new talent and at the same, it's audition time for IPL and T-20 WC.

Fans shouldn't read much into it and just enjoy Batriarchy moments with the mix of some exciting young talent.
I wonder if @noor even watched the World Cup properly since the both of these teams are drastically different from the ones that played in that tournament. Australia is doing a pretty good job in India's backyard so far.

Also, what the heck does Batriarchy mean since I have only heard of patriarchy?
379  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: November 26, 2023, 05:10:37 PM
But in this case, Rollbit takes 0% cut so if both of you and the other player stake $10 the total would be $20. Full $20 will be given to the winner of the game
Martingale should technically work in this game as long as the limits are high if you think about it. There is no house edge/commission and it's purely luck based which implies that skill is pretty much useless here as you mentioned.

Finding players matching the amounts required could be a problem though if the game doesn't become popular.

Anyway, Travis Head again used that bat also I today’s match so you can what is my meaning, if you can’t I can explain to you, I am saying that the bat was made for India and Travis Head played with that bat and today’s match again so let’s see will Travis Head hit century against India or not.
You have got to be kidding with me. Hilarious nonsense! You are speaking just like those people who blabber about fate etc. This is the 21st freaking century. I advise you to update your mindset.

Tomorrow is not a normal day in cricket. This a such a sad day for Australia and in cricket history, 27 November 2014 is a really sad day for cricket because on this date Phillip Hughes passed away from this World due to the tricky bouncer of Sean Abbott. That was a harmful bouncer and Phillip Hughes can’t play it and passed away. This is a black day. He was 25 years old when he dead. He is the youngest player of Australia and he was such a great player but unluckily e can’t see him for a long time. Black Day. He was dead during the match.
Damn! I remember that incident nicely and almost a decade passed already. Truly sad incident and I hope such stuff never repeats in Cricket ever again.
