For solo gpu mining put this in your config file ( %appdata%\Ferretcoin\ferretcoin.conf on Windows and ~/.ferretcoin/ferretcoin.conf on Linux, create the file if it doesn't exist yet): rpcuser=username rpcpassword=set a strong password here rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcport=33032 port=33033 daemon=1 server=1 Then run your wallet again. With cgminer for example invoke it as: cgminer.exe --scrypt -o http://127.0.0.1:33032 -u username -p yourpassword (add hardware specific parameters matching your cards to reach your max hashrate! You can find a comprehensive list of cards with good parameter choices in the config notes here: http://litecoin.info/Mining_Hardware_Comparison)

Big dump at Cryptsy.
Too bad all the big <0.00015 BTC sell orders are already bought up
|
|
|
(though they may not do any better.)
That was my point.

LOL. Either BFL BS or they are delusional idiots. "Currently we are busy doing other stuff but because of the interest we are planning to release an scrypt device later this year."

Hi John I found a bug in the UI: if you click on the amount of BTC available (or LTC for some markets) in the top right corner of the "SUBMIT NEW ORDER" form to buy the maximum amount of altcoins possible with your balance at a given price then it does not correctly calculate that number. The onclick event handler of that span element currently reads: <span onclick="$('#TradeBuyAmount').val(($(this).text()/$('#TradeBuyPrice').val())*0.998);$('#TradeBuyAmount').trigger('change');" ... but it should actually be: <span onclick="$('#TradeBuyAmount').val(($(this).text()/$('#TradeBuyPrice').val())/1.002);$('#TradeBuyAmount').trigger('change');" ... Then it calculates the correct amount Thanks dude. That is a more accurate calculation. It has been implemented. BigVern Cool! np

BitJohn yours and Verns support are really GREAT, I can confirm that. You really try to resolve all the issues and be active on forum threads. That means so much for the users. But there is not a doubt that Cryptsy has nasty bugs... Deposit delays, slow refund after canceling orders, slow interface, vulnerable site, bigger deposit then sent (after that more then few accounts were in minus) etc.. I like Cryptsy, but you guys gotta be more stable in all areas..
We work every day to improve all services we still don't claim to be out of the BETA stage and look forward to improving in all the areas we fall short and keeping all of our customers as up to date as possible. Realize we are getting growth at about 10% per day while managing the new features and working out the old. Not to mention fighting the DDOS attacks. Thanks for everyone patience and support. Hi BitJohn and bigvern, here is a bugfix you didn't seem to care about so far: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=242899.msg2586246#msg2586246

This only works when a small group of people (with lots of coins) do it privately and secretly..
Anyone who follows this "pump" will lose big, don't do it, invest a safe amount (you can afford to lose) in ltc, don't expect too much, sell early enough (before fontas dumps big time)...
"This" referring to a pump and dump disguised as a stable pump scam? Because if not, if fontas plans to proceed as described then clearly it will work whether nobody knows or everybody, he simply has the means to buy up all the sell orders, simple as that.

which block number does the diff change on? i want to know when to switch off from the pool to solo mine with my other pcs
I'm currently developing a small info page for PXC. But i do it in my spare time, so the development performance is bad especially due to the fact that i'm moving to a new apartment at the moment. So not all the values are 100% correct, i have to improve the calculation of some values and so on. But if you want to see the remaining blocks and some other values it may help: http://pxc.bitcoiners-blog.de/Have a nice day Cool and useful site! The next difficulty change is limited to old_difficulty * 99/55 (or +80%) if it would be increasing beyond that without the recent difficulty protocol patch, and to old_difficulty * 55/99 (or -44%) if it would be decreasing beyond that. For example currently the next difficulty will be 4.51 * 55/99 ≈ 2.51. See: https://github.com/phenixcoin/Phenixcoin/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L925

It was because of reaching people by pm on btc-e instead of just in here. Read the entire original post quoted within the second post I believe. Some people claim within the trollbox to have lost some coins but I have no idea if they are just trolling or it's true and the dev team have to fully repair their db first. You'll see that there are no coins getting stolen at all.
Your described way of the hack doesn't make any sense. If someone is able to get a dumb from the db the chance they get the funds data too is very high. And even without that info: Wouldn't it make more sense to scan each account slowly over time instead of publicly asking for the data in here using an account with at least some reputation? What kind of pirate would do that?
You would need at least some reputation to even get started wouldn't you? Also the chance being high doesn't equal the chance being 100%. It is entirely possible that an attacker was only able to dump the authentication table with the password hashes, and they would likely proceed in the way described. They wouldn't have time to scan slowly because btc-e would probably notice soon and then inform users to change their passwords. As I said I'm not saying the above scenario happened, and frankly I don't believe it happened, still you didn't seem to even try to dispel the expressed doubts and simply dismissing the possibility as "way out of anything real" and "doesn't make any sense" seems rather dubious. Quite ironic that people are now reporting missing coins though.. Sorry for the intense denial. There is a small chance, right. I'm just sick of all the 'uh, something really bad is happening' stuff in here. The devs have already mentioned that they had some power issue within their data center which is very unlikely caused by any attackers especially not data pirates. I'm not here to argue with anyone in here. So, please let's get back to the topic. Alright, let's not get too stuck in hypothetical scenarios Good luck with the pump. I don't have enough coins to participate but maybe I should start an "LTC dump" thread in the Bitcoin subforum first to get onboard
