That 80% is a number that gets quoted often but if you look at the original source they count every single ICO that failed to reach its soft cap and returned investors money as a scam and every ICO project that never got to the point of raising any money. The fact you include 99% as a scam shows you have not a clue what you are talking about. I have done bounties for over 200 ICO's in the last year and only 20 have turned scam as far as I am concerned and I include those that reduced their bounty in that number. As far as outright scams where they ran away with the money I have only had 1 do that.
This can mean that you are good at selecting projects. Of course the ether will survive without ICO, but it will be just one of the altcoins. Recall such projects as NEO, NEM, EOS and others, this is in some approximation an Ethereum without ICO. |

May not be in few years but definitely in future. It will be too hard to scale that much in few years. People are still learning about crypto and their use cases, still development is going on.

There is a reason why bounty campaign is extending, usually it's because the ICO token sale duration extended, that's make bounty campaign also extending. Sometimes the ICO is extending because it's not reach the softcap and the project owner want to extended the duration of ICO until it reach the softcap.
This may seem surprising, but there are projects that extend ICO (and bounty), having substantially more than softcap. For example Ubex.com. Whatever the reason was, it is not beneficial to bounty hunters. |

like many other shitcoins, XRP is also getting pumped and dumped. obviously at some point it will start pumping up again but i disagree with saying this is the time for it because it is not only way too soon for a big pump but also XRP is still in a big bubble which needs bursting and to come down.
if that was not enough reason for you, if you look at the over all market you can see things don't look good for any altcoin. they are all getting dumped so you can't expect 1 shitcoin among thousands to just start pumping specially since that 1 shitcoin is among the top 10 coins.
Of course, this is a speculative asset. But I would not call XRP shitcoin. Yes, one day it will pumped up, as it is necessary to attract new sheep. When exactly, it is impossible to predict, otherwise we could profit from the masters of market. |
