I see updates on Github, good to see some activity there. But it would be really good to know when the fork is taking place. thanks
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICOs become regulated in Europe? on: January 05, 2018, 01:53:03 PM
Do you think we will see certain restrictions investing in ICOs for European based investors? I'm considering to go full time focusing on ICOs investments and it would be a shame if ICOs become banned. Thank you for sharing your opinion on this, much appreciated
Regulation is different in banning it,ICOs would be less scammy if theres regulating on these investments, people would be sure to their money if you ask me.

I guess I didn't properly describe myself. I didn't mean to say regulation would mean directly to ban ICOs, just wanted to ask if any sort of regulation is coming potentially ending up with ban.

Thank you for all the replies guys, are there any official announcements from authorities you are aware of? Because I couldn't find much which probably means all we have are conjectures only...

right now it's used as asset. One day it can become proper currency

I hope BCA can start trading at $250. If it's less I buy more
Things can be, it is now difficult to say something

impossible to know. My guess would be somewhere between $100 and $300

when they implement LN, I can see it growing to where we see bch today

Is it the last price? How long have you've been using that?

I used that one week or a little more but it is in perfect conditions. I can sell it for 280$ minimum, it is worth of it Wink

Why did you use only for one week?

does Bitcoin Atom has any plan list on binance?

It's pretty likely Binance will support this fork, because it means free coins for their users. They can get good promo for free

FRAUD ALERT
Our Twitter account @atombitcoin has been impersonated by an impostor account @bitcoinatom. This account has been indeed created earlier than ours, however, it had no content what so ever. Once we started posting content on @atombitcoin, this account simply copied our content, changed his logo, wording and other information to reflect ours, which infringes on our copyrighted material. You could take a look at the timestamps on both Twitter accounts and it was obvious that he was copying us.

Furthermore, this impostor created a site bitcoinatom.org which is a copy of our bitcoinatom.io, and a fake Facebook, Github, etc. Our site, and our Twitter Account, which Twitter suspended, based on a false report (from the impostor), contains partnerships with OKEX, Coinomi (https://twitter.com/CoinomiWallet) which specifically highlighted us in their recent Tweet: https://twitter.com/CoinomiWallet/status/946094265863569409, and many others. Both of the aforementioned partners are respected accounts with many followers, and their logos are trademarked/copyrighted, which @bitcoinatom is violating as he has no relationship with them.

We are now appealing to Twitter to restore the TRUE account: @atombitcoin, and block @bitcoinatom as soon as possible.

Everyone has to be careful to use the official soft when project is launched

Actually I might go through coinomi to make it safe and easy
If i access through coinomi i am doing in a safety way?

Coinomi is very good and safe option

BTC --> BTC Cash --> BTC Gold --> BTC God --> BTC Atom --> ......--> BTC segwit2x --> BTC Interest ---> BTC whatever  ---> zero   Grin

With btc transaction fees becoming ridiculous, moving btc will be too expensive, btc will be only hoarded which gives other forks chance to take its place
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚛️ [ANN] Bitcoin Atom - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Atomic Swap Powered ⚛️ on: December 27, 2017, 04:11:21 PM
⚛️⚛️⚛️⚛️IMPORTANT!⚛️⚛️⚛️⚛️

We have noticed there is a clone of official Bitcoin Atom website pretending to be a website of our project, but it's not. Which means it's a FRAUDULENT PHISHING ATTEMPT on our users and you should not follow their instructions under any circumstances! Please make sure to use only our official domains and channels listed in the first post of this ANN. Fake website domain is: bitcoinatom.org and fake twitter account is @BitcoinAtom

Oh God, guys be very careful, it's a good idea to bookmark official atom web

Is any update of the project?

A lot of good news has been published!

Too many BTC hard forks are coming... What are the differences between this hard fork and Bitcoin Uranium hard fork??

You shouldn't even mention these 2 projects in 1 sentence. When you see the number of pages in this thread and compare to Uranium you will see which project is much more popular. Atom team has provided extensional info about what they're about to accomplish and already established some very decent partnerships with largest exchanges etc, while I don't think Uranium has a single one. Actually Uranium didn't even have website last time I checked, it's a doomed project. Bitcoin Atom provides cool features like atomic swaps, this project is future, take my word for it Wink

we need to be building supportive community around this project

For a lot of people is their first fork, it is normal to ask things
i have never take part of a fork before
Even more, there is not much information about the fork if it is not their website

What other info would you like to learn? I can answer you
378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚛️ [ANN] Bitcoin Atom - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Atomic Swap Powered ⚛️ on: December 24, 2017, 04:06:18 PM
English is not my motherlanguage and this is my first fork,  i need more information about how a fork works and I apologize if i am a little bit dull, it is not my intention, I only want to know what to do
I don't speak english very well either but i do whatever i can

Your English is no problem. The point is that there are many resources already provided regarding this fork in the first post of this thread and also on their website etc. It's good to read that info first and then come back here and ask additional questions. Just my 2 cents

I think it’s perfectly fine when they’re asking here, we should empower that. It’s not always easy for newbies to find all the resources to study, so asking here is fine. I’ happy to help anybody asking any kind of questions here Smiley

Question to other users - will you claim bca on your own or go over exchanges?

I’m using Coinomi, so will simply claim with my private key and then hold in supported wallet. What is your expected price right after the fork?

Myself I'm considering to put the btc on OKEx to make the process seamless
