Who would have thought Liverpool with the lineup they have, might be 9th in the league coming next week. They were the team to beat along with Man City but apparently, not too hard a task for team to get past them or at least get a result. At the begining of the season, it seemed like Spurs, Liverpool, Chelsea would give Man City a run for their money but with just 11 games to go, Man City are cruising their way to another Premier League title. There is a good chance that they win the Champions League this season as well, with most major teams under performing (except Bayern).

I know that they are having too big problems when it comes to defense in the absence of Virgil van Dijk. But something different also seems wrong that they also have big difficulties in the attacking side despite having incredible players like Salah and Mane. They need desperately to pull themselves together otherwise they will end the league very badly.

The difference between the points of the first 3 teams of Ligue 1 is only 3. In fourth place, the Monaco team is 6 points behind than Lille. The next team is Lens, 16 points behind than Lille. The fight for the title this season is between Lille, PSG, and Lyon. It is still difficult to predict which team will win the title. Which is your favorite team and And why is the team yoursfavourite?

I think it is Lille's time for the championship. It is very true that there is a huge competition among Lille, PSG and Lyon right now. Monaco are also following them but I started thinking they have a low chance. In my opinion, Lyon will also be out of the race in some weeks and it will go on between Lille and PSG. And I hope that Lille will be the champions.

Besiktas are gonna play a home match against Gaziantep tomorrow and I think it will be a quite tough match. Besiktas have been doing good in the recent times as they won their last four matches. After a bad form, Gaziantep got a win against Genclerbirligi and it should improve their morale for this match. Gaziantep defeated Besiktas 3-1 once in the TSL this season. I think that Besiktas will see this as a challenge match and win it.

Round 24 is gonna start with the Schalke-Mainz game tonight. Schalke are in a much worse condition than Mainz now. Mainz have much more chance to be able to stay in the Bundesliga this season. Before in this season, Schalke hardly managed to get a draw against them. Mainz seem as the favorite team according to their 2.17 odd. But I think both teams have a hard job here and I expect another draw in this match.

Barcelona are broke, I read that they are close to bankruptcy. There is no way they will be spending big money this summer especially with the financial uncertainty in football due to covid.

They will not be able to even make any profit from Messi's possible transfer this summer as teams can sign him without any transfer fee. I really wonder what they will do if they lose Messi because they will probably have much bigger problems if they can't prevent Messi from leaving.

Everything goes to the fact that in the next round only Atletico Madrid will represent Spain. Barcelona and Sevilla lost. Real Madrid has half of the team injured. And if one more player is injured today, there is no one to replace.
The good news is Eden Hazard can play against Atalanta. Even though almost half of the Madrid players are injured I hope they can do well. A draw is a great result in my opinion. Despite last year's history of beating Valencia in the last big sixteen phase, madrid are a different team. Successive wins in La Liga will have a positive impact. Even if many of their core players were injured, they should be able to play equally well.

If they want to risk him being not yet at full fitness that is. Problem with Hazard is he's so brittle. Play him less than 100% and he tends to break even worse AND take even longer to heal from that.

Draw will be a super good result for sure, judging from the current injury situation.

As far as I know, Hazard is still out for a few weeks. So it means that he will not play against Atalanta in the first game undoubtedly. But there is no certain thing for the rematch. Maybe we can see him in it. But the question is whether he will be able to adapt to the team again quickly after a long time.

Milan 0-3 Inter

 Grin

the Inter goalkeeper looked like a mutant with super power to see slow movements so that he managed to stop Milan's goals... lukako seemed to have super speed and managed to pass through Milan's defense. with this game it became clearer that this season the inter will be champion. unfortunately Milan did not take advantage of the great points advantage that they had over their opponents

tomorrow we'll see if juventus will win, i lost hope of seeing juventus champion

Milan proved me wrong and got a huge 0-3 defeat.  Grin  But they didn't have a bad performance at least. According to the statistics, they had dangerous attacks more than Inter and had similar statistics when it comes to the total shots and shots on goal. Inter have got a very big advantage now being 4 points ahead of Milan. It is still early to say something certain for the championship but Milan need to do much better if they don't want to lose their chance completely.

Another day, another poor Barcelona performance as they draw  1-1 at home to Cadiz; in what i would call  bad performace (which is not new to Koeman and his boys lol). The draw keeps barcelona 3rd on the log with a game in hand. Would barcelona once again slip off the top four races ?

When we look at the statistics, it seems like there was a huge dominance of Barcelona but I also see that they were too clumsy on finishing. Only 4 shots on goal out of 20 shots, really? They could have scored even a few more goals but they couldn't do it. And Cadiz punished them for that in the last minutes.

Nice, Leipzig won 3-0 in Berlin against Hertha thus reducing the gap with Bayern Munich and like I wrote earlier it feels great if Bundesliga can keep competitive until the end. Die Roten Bullen are stress-testing their bavarian friends in the first position and hopefully they can keep up with them.

I was worried after seeing a balanced game in the first half. But Leipzig made a much more effort in the second half and guaranteed the win by scoring 2 more goals. Especially, Sabitzer was really good - 1 goal, 1 assist. Now they are only 2 points behind Bayern which has made the league more exciting.  Grin

I called the Manchester city vs Arsenal game a non-contest game, meaning that Manchester city is always ahead of them, I expected a better Manchester city, but even a low form Manchester city would still beat Arsenal, who where poor except Saka, the match wasn't embarring for Arteta's men it could have been more than one on a city in-form day.

Manchester City managed to be the winner with the very early goal (2') Sterling scored. City were the better side of course but I can't say that they played awesome. Because if we look at the shots on goal, both teams were really terrible on it. City are 10 points ahead now in the table and there are 13 games left.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy wants to wait until the end of the season before determining Jose Mourinho's fate as head coach. Tottenham have fallen into a major crisis of results and it is unlikely that the current coach will be able to reverse this negative series and keep the job.

It looks like Mourinho's job will be very hard when it comes to staying at the club in the next season. They had many awful results in the league so far. They have retreated to the 9th place. As long as they don't pull themselves together, I think there is no way that the board will want to continue with him.
376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 20, 2021, 03:55:18 PM
Bayern Munich are playing all-out attack and Frankfurt can't do anything against them right now. Lewandowski managed to bring the score to 2-1 nine minutes ago. With this huge dominance, Frankfurt's job will be hard to secure the win. It looks like Bayern can find the equalizer and the result will possibly be a draw.

It looks like Levante have made up their mind to get a win against Atletico.  Grin  Like the previous match, Levante got ahead 1-0 again now with the goal of J. Morales. Atletico are playing better again and I wonder whether we will see similar performances and a draw at the end of the match.

The match between Lazio and Sampdoria has started. Now no team has been able to score. I bet on Lazio in this match. Lazio is playing great this season. They have also won against strong opponents like Roma. It seems that Sampdoria will be easily defeated by Lazio today. Let's see what will happen.

Lazio are leading 1-0 with the goal of L. Alberto but it is a very risky score for them. There is a little time left to the final whistle. Sampdoria aren't playing badly now and we can't still be sure what result we will have in the end. If Lazio win this match, they will move up to the 4th place and have 43 points.

No you're wrong rig4hodlers and ShowOff,  Southampton didn't lose each of its last five or six matchs.
Southampton has won 2-0 against Wolverhampton Wanderers, 2 matchs ago. They "only" lost 4 of their 5 last matchs.
Mate, I'm only talking about Southamton at the EPL at the moment and not about the games in the other league they play. Sorry I might have confused you. Wink

FT: Southamton vs Chelsea 1-1

A game Chelsea should have won but had to fail in the end. The draw was an unfair result considering Chelsea were quite dominant in possession. This result will certainly be detrimental to Chelsea, they have the opportunity to lose their place in top 4 if West Ham United wins from Tottenham.

Chelsea had a better performance in the second half actually but they couldn't succeed in winning this. Despite the very bad performance of Southampton in the recent games, they got one point at least. Maybe Chelsea couldn't focus on this game fully as they have a Champions League match in 3 days vs Atletico.

It looks like that Kylian Mbappe is only interested in going to Liverpool or Real Madrid if he decides to leave PSG. There are also some rumours that Real Madrid are already making some plans to be able to sign him. I wonder if Liverpool also will make a move after hearing that.
