361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People say altcoins won't survive on: August 21, 2018, 04:48:22 AM
Many community members have been claiming lately that altcoins are going to die or at least that 90% of altcoins are doomed. I tend to agree with them that there are many coins and tokens that are pointless and won't survive. Another cathegory are alts with solid foundations but won't manage to fight with their competitors as naturally there are numerous projects with same visions. But if you trust the project you invested in, there is no reason to change your mind just because someone says many altcoins won't succeed. Do your research and trust only your own judgement, because many ALTCOINS ARE HERE TO STAY!
Most altcoins are tokens that were created as a result of the ICO and which should serve some narrow projects. A significant part of them have the final finished product and therefore they will not work and die. On the contrary, I think that behind such practical projects the future of crypto-currencies. I do not agree with the opinion that most altcoins will die in the near future.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can any ALTCOIN ever overtake Bitcoin ? on: August 21, 2018, 04:37:07 AM
Until this can not happen. In practice, bitcoin must first lose its significant level of capitalization and price dominance over other types of crypto-currency, and only then can it be circumvented by any altcoyin. In the near future this bitcoin is not threatened, as in the last weeks its level of capitalization is growing and today it has reached 58 percent.
363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people need to use Bitcoin for Money laundering? on: August 19, 2018, 05:10:34 AM
According to the studies, bitcoin was used for illegal purposes from one to ten percent of cases. It's too little to constantly discuss this topic. Bitcoin is only relatively anonymous in nature. Therefore, for illegal purposes, coins with a good degree of anonymity are used.
364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe someday there will be clarity about who really Satoshi Nakamoto? on: August 19, 2018, 04:44:18 AM
The more time passes, the less likely that we will ever know about the real identity of Satoshi Nakamoto. Since it's been almost ten years since he created his first bitcoin, there is almost no chance left. Already more than once tried to find him, but unsuccessfully. Hardly ever we already know this.
365  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I buy the current ICO? on: August 17, 2018, 07:58:04 PM
When the market in the uptrend of ICOs after the listing on the stock market has increased sharply, however, the ICO market is quite bleak. Currently, I do not buy ICO anymore because there are too many risks and I just joined the buy when it went to the floor, the profit may be less but the risk is reduced. How do you think about this problem?
In such tactics, there is a certain sense, if you buy tokens already on the stock exchange, when they fall in price, the risk is really less, but the profit may be less. However, if the ICO project was good, then when the market begins to rise, these tokens can also grow much in value.
Investing now in ICO projects is rather difficult, in addition to the fact that the number of fraudulent ICO projects has increased, and the number of failed projects has also increased due to the poor state of the crypto-currency market. Some are calling in general during this difficult period to refuse to invest in ICO projects. However, I believe that this should be everyone's business. And today there are still promising and successfully completed projects ICO ..
366  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is technical analysis vital? on: August 17, 2018, 07:43:35 PM
Hi I was wondering what the general consensus was on the use of technical analysis in making long term investments. I know short term day traders get allot of use out of it but if I'm investing in a project based on fundamentals does the technical analysis matter?
If you invest in a particular project and a specific coin or token, then, in my opinion, it is best to be guided first and foremost by the features of this project. But when making subsequent decisions, one should take into account the general state of the crypto-currency market, and long-term forecasts for its development. However, in my opinion, technical analysis of the market plays a small role here and in many cases it does not come true.
367  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bearish trend is over on: August 17, 2018, 07:31:35 PM
Since bitcoin and the cryptocurrencies markets get into bearish trend since December 16, 2017 we have seeing alot of comments and post about people and traders asking were is the bottom and should we buy and hold?  I think personally, the downward trend is over when bitcoin push above $10,250 and $10,850 this morning!  The bullish trend has been trigger and bitcoin is going to break the December high of $19,000 and move above that level towards $25,000 before we can see another major bearish again. What did you think?
These forecasts clearly did not come true. Raising bitcoin in the price to $ 25,000 has not happened, we are still in price stagnation. Surely no one expected that the bear market will last for the eighth month. While all hope for the end of the year. True, too rapid growth of the crypto currency in the price also hurts it, so let it be better that it grows in price smoothly, without sharp price spikes.
368  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Keep all crypto in trading platforms or wallets? on: August 17, 2018, 07:18:37 PM
I think that you need to store your coins and tokens on stock exchanges in less time. Exchanges are most often subjected to attacks by hackers, besides, there is not always trust in the administration of the exchange. There are a lot of cases of unauthorized transactions on behalf of the owners of crypto currency even without any signs of hacking. In addition, various directions and requirements of various inspections may appear on the part of the exchange administration, which are sometimes difficult to fulfill. Therefore, it is best to immediately send funds back to the wallet after performing the necessary operation.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in BTC, Altcoin, or ICO on: August 16, 2018, 03:52:45 PM
There are so many New ICO's these day ? Is that safe to invest in ICO ? any 1 invested in 2018 ? 2017 was the year of ICO's but is that still safe to invest ? or how to know which ICO is good to invest ? like GIG9, Eligma, Medicalchain, Trustedthealth
I do not think that in this difficult time for crypto currency there is some kind of universal advice where to invest your money. Investing now in ICO projects is a rather risky task, now many are even quite promising
ICO can not collect even the minimum amount, however, some do it. It is still difficult to predict here while the market is in decline.
From coins, I now invest in ethereum. In this coin, I'm sure it will always be in demand.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why aren't cryptocurrencies successful as a medium of payment on: August 16, 2018, 03:37:45 PM
The global economy is nearly 80 trillion USD per year.  Payments using any type of cryptocurrency as a medium of payment is a tiny fraction of this total.

What are some of the reasons preventing cryptocurrency from being more successful as a medium of payment?
Crypto currency is a completely new kind of digital money. Do not expect that in a few years all people will switch to using crypto currency. This process will be very lengthy and will take many decades. Individuals and now make payments in the crypto currency, but so far this is not often the case. Everything has its time.
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An 11 year old kid just launched his ICO on: August 14, 2018, 05:01:18 AM
If 11 year old kid can launch an ICO than this will question whole crypto market, there could be many scammers who can easily start ICO and run away on end. How people gonna trust a 11 year old kid with their money, everybody can make big claims even kid like him can but he couldn't make deals with big companies or gaming platforms.

And imagine that, perhaps, we provide  children with their identification data, copies of their passports during the KYC check. Many call this a solution to the problem with the reliability of the ICO project. My opinion is that it is not necessary to grant the right to various private individuals to demand from citizens the provision of their identification data. Such a right should only be available to state bodies, which can be responsible for their safety.
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Winner of this year, ETH or BTC? on: August 14, 2018, 04:52:03 AM
It seems that this year there will be no winners in the market for crypto currency. All the crypto currency shows not the best results. Now the price of bitcoin is only 5 982 dollars, and ethereum - 265 dollars. This was not long ago. Even if the market rises by the end of the year, it is unlikely that it will be a big increase. Therefore, it would be good if bitcoin and ethereum reached their last year's highs by the end of this year.
373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins true Endresult (no exaggeration) on: August 14, 2018, 04:31:13 AM
Your image shows negativity and will create fear among the public. This can never be a future when bitcoin is the mode of transaction. I don't think it will affect much on the society as well rather it will affect the transaction methods and the banks. The world will get better.

of course it will

bitcoin centrism will lead us into a world not rulled by property billionaires but simply by miners billionairs that have a regular supply of capital through their mining facility.

i know this picture doesnt serve propagandistic goals of this forum, but it describes what will happen in the end.
Bitcoin can die, there are still many unsolved problems in it and it is not known whether they will be solved or not. However, the whole of the crypto currency will develop and will continue to exist for a very long time. Digital crypto currency in any case is very beneficial to people and it will be introduced into our life and will facilitate and make it more comfortable. Therefore, I do not experience the future of crypto-currencies in general. It will be good.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin dominance ruining the market on: August 14, 2018, 04:20:15 AM
We are having an unusual market as the market cap continue to slide, Bitcoin dominance on the increase- currently above 52 percent, this has resulted in huge drains on the altcoins, Ethereum for example slid below 300$, This is ruining the market. Is this the new trend in the market?
It can not be said that the price dominance of bitcoins is destroyed by the market. The market of the crypto currency is simply not mature, it is not free in price and so far it is only developing. Capitalization bitkoin sooner or later vseravno drop and the crypto currency will then develop freely. Everything has its time.
375  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-08-10] New Bill Proposes 5% Tax on Crypto Incomes in Ukraine on: August 12, 2018, 01:28:46 PM
Although i hate taxes this one is pretty fair. Not only that it is only 5%, but it's also charged only when you convert to fiat money, which you don't have to do at all. Many countries want you to pay on your crypto profits regardless of whether you exchange for fiat or not. There's a civil war being waged in there so it's no surprise they need money. Of course introducing taxes while some of your neighbors (Belarus) have none is shooting yourself in the leg.
I am also surprised by the expression that a civil war is under way in Ukraine. Even in the article itself it is written that Ukraine is fighting in the east of its country with pro-Russian forces. There are entire army units of Russian troops there, still a significant part of them are formally dismissed from the armed forces and are supposedly already civilians and when they are brought to their relatives in coffins, they are absolutely sure that the one killed in Ukraine served the Russian army until recently. And how to explain that in the east of Ukraine there are the latest developments of military Russian technology, and in very large quantities. Do they steal in the Russian army or does Russia voluntarily supply them to the territory of Ukraine?
376  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: August 12, 2018, 11:06:29 AM
Lets say crypto completely and utterly replaced fiat. Fiats don't exist anymore. All governments have seen the advantage of using digital currency and have completely changed their fiat into crypto, like dollar to dollar token(obviously not tether). How viable is this? For example anyone can see how much I am holding using the public ledger and track me down and force me into sending them the cryptos I hold. I wanna discuss in reality if cryptos actually replace fiat how life will be and what are the problems we are gonna face and the immediate effects of it.
Crypto currency is not at all capable of replacing conventional national money. Monetary banknotes, this is a practically improved debt receipt of the state for a certain part of the property of the state, denoted in its denomination. That is, money has always been tied to the state of the economy of the state. Crypto currency is completely different. It is created more as a payment system, and not as money. In any case, we can not take some kind of candy from the side and say that it will already be our new money. It is against all economic rules.
377  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the price of bitcoin rapidly going down on: August 12, 2018, 10:42:15 AM
The issue was raised in March, but it is still relevant to this day. Bitcoin is in a depressed state for the eighth month after its December price rise to $ 20,000. With bitcoin played a cruel joke, when deliberately raised it to such a cost. Now very many have lost on the bitcoin, because of this, investors are at a loss and they do not trust him anymore. They do not know how much more they can fall in the future.
We just hope that by the end of the year bitcoin will rise, as it began to grow at the end of each year.
378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: believe or not on: August 11, 2018, 04:06:22 AM
In this situation, when bitcoin was purchased at a cost of $ 18,000, you only need to hold it and expect a good rise in the crypto-currency market. He will soon be anyway. In any case, in the autumn, in a few months, we will be able to verify this.
Crypto currency should not be bought when it has already risen decently in price, it must be remembered that such an increase is not unlimited and that this will be followed by a decline in price.
379  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will control the world economy!!!!! is it true? on: August 11, 2018, 03:45:31 AM
Some media shows that bitcoin can be the next weapon to control the world economy. i think it is true and it will be seen soon.
No it cant. Digital Currency has nothing to do with world economy and even it would be valuable on upcoming years government wont really allow such thing to happen for sure. Its a decentralized thing and theres no way it can be considered to be used globally knowing countries have their own different local fiat currencies and i dont think bitcoin would really be considered to take part of it.
Absolutely right. Bitcoin and other decentralized crypto currency can not influence, at least on a large scale, the global economy. It is not capable of this, and even states will limit its capabilities even of such theoretical influence. Therefore, as a weapon from the crypto currency can not be any. Decentralized crypto-currency is generally better not to conflict with the interests of the state and national money, but to try to smoothly enter our world, gradually attracting people with its functionality and benefits.
380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the world ready for cryptocurrency? on: August 11, 2018, 03:11:45 AM
Although there are a few countries who uses bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies now, I cannot help but wonder if the world is truly ready for this digital currency? It will certainly be hard to replace all currencies in the world but it could happen in a decade or so, perhaps even less? Still the question is, is the world ready? I think if this happens it might be one of the biggest changes that will happen worldwide.
The Crypto currency will most likely enter our world gradually and for decades. It is very peculiar, a certain part of the population does not understand it and this requires a certain amount of time. Here the question is not whether we are ready for such a technology, but by the level of technology we have already grown to understanding the crypto currency, and the question is how long it will be implemented in our life. After all, this requires appropriate skills, technical devices and the Internet.
