Seems its time to run some GPUs and try to find the 54th key, since you also get it in Bitcoin Cash.

Current value of that key is around 0.62 BTC = $4000 USD.

Time to get those old ~5000-6000 series AMD gpus plugged in.
So, true, just join the LBC pool with your GPUs and join in the hunt.

Only issue now is to compile Vanitygen in Windows. Vanitygen needs to be modded to go sequentially instead of randomly.

Cygwin works but doesn't detect any GPUs.

Do not bother to do this on your own.  It has all been done and done well.  You can participate.  Read this entire thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1877935.0

and this web site:

https://lbc.cryptoguru.org/stats

So far the search pool has gone sequentially through the first 9,258.60 trillion keys and it is currently searching sequentially through about 190 trillion keys per day.

You can sign up and participate using your GPUs and you also get to share in the spoils of any Bitcoins found.

I will look into it but last I looked it wasn't available for any GPUs. Only CPUs which were too slow.

It seems they found the 53rd key but they didn't equality distribute it, it just went to one address and stayed there. It didn't pay out like a pool does.
At least some of the people in the pool are using GPUs.

when will be the next airdrop? or there will be no more airdrops?
There are no more airdrops for people who do not know how to read a thread - that means you.

How would I be able to tell if one of my addresses was collided?
I believe they will move your Bitcoins for you.  Correct?

Any ideas on the fix?

Uncaught exception: Error: Error: SQLITE_CORRUPT: database disk image is malformed SELECT MAX(lb_units.main_chain_index) AS min_retrievable_mci FROM units JOIN units AS lb_units ON units.last_ball_unit=lb_units.unit WHERE units.is_on_main_chain=1 AND units.is_stable=1

Upgrade to the latest wallet.
Misinformation.  This bug has not been fixed yet.

Just to make sure that you did not know what you are talking about I upgraded to the latest version:

https://github.com/byteball/byteball/releases/tag/v1.11.2

re-downloaded it and re-installed it and sure enough, I still have the issue.

A fix is in the works.  I expect tonych will announce a new version with the fix when it is ready and available.  He knows all about this issue, see his post here:

Distribution of blackbytes is now finished.

I know about the "removing stable witnessed unit" error, working on it.

I understand you need to install a purse and he will earn coins?

I will make this as simple as possible for you.  From http://clamclient.com/learn/distribution/

If you had Bitcoin, Litecoin or Dogecoin on May 12, 2014 then you probably have CLAMs waiting for you

So the question is, did you own any Bitcoin, Litecoin or Dogecoin on May 12, 2014?

I suspect not.

If the answer is no then you cannot get any free CLAM from the aerodrome or airfield.  If you want CLAM you will have to buy them on an exchange.

So, if you did not own any Bitcoin, Litecoin or Dogecoin on May 12, 2014 then you can move on to other coins in other threads and try to find free airplanes there.

LOL,  all these newbie accounts claiming to have coins on deepbit......  domain has been dead for years.

i mined way back when a bitcoin was worth 3$ i only started caring and looking back at the website after it was dead thats why i made an account.

do u run around frantically picking up pennies on the ground because they might be worth something in 100 years
Yes.  I did believe and still believe that every satoshi will be worth a lot some day.  That is why I made sure to get all my BTC off of Deepbit (and all the other pools I was using at that time) before I stopped mining there.  That is what you should have done.  You lost a small amount of BTC.  That is nothing I lost thousands of BTC over the years.

I have to do a question about your airdrop.

I read that I  need to held a balance of litecoin, btc or dodge on May 12th 2014.

So, if I had balances after that day, Am I not eligible for this airdrop right?

Thank you!
Correct.  You have to had balances on that specific day at a specific time.  Otherwise you will need to purchase CLAM on an exchange if you want some.

What`s wrong with witness?

Thanks for reporting. This error is already known and a fix is underway!
I am also getting this issue.  Is there any estimate as to when this fix will be released?  This issue happened before I was able to backup after the most recent distribution so I am getting nervous - I really want to backup.

What's the difference? It looks different. But has anything changed? Better hardware / touch screen / buttons or something? microSD?
I can see there is a touch screen instead of buttons.  It would be interesting to have a list of all the differences.  Ordered a couple of them.

Did you try using clamaddress.org instead of bitaddress.org? That will give you the hex bytes which you can then put into bitaddress. But you should just end up with the BTC address and privkey you already have.

Thanks!  Mystery solved.  I did the following:

1  On my CLAM wallet:          dumpprivkey xWAS3PbHr3FBdLsV1s8UYKuwXaJWMsTcjw

1.) Each payment address consists of a public / private key-pair. For example:

ADDRESS: 1Nro9WkpaKm9axmcfPVp79dAJU1Gx7VmMZ
PUBLIC: 02fcba7ecf41bc7e1be4ee122d9d22e3333671eb0a3a87b5cdf099d59874e1940f
PRIVATE: 1daebdd0a5d524ed3ae5cd301f00017e21574013dc916206183f447f6b8eed26

This is a very public private key.

So, I expect that at some point I used this private key for testing or something in a BTC wallet and it got imported into my CLAM wallet or I imported it directly into my CLAM wallet on a whim or for a test (it has been a while).  It is a known fact that people have used this private key and actually done BTC transactions using it.  And finally someone else used this private key in a DOGE wallet and did some transactions with it and this person also imported this private key into their CLAM wallet to claim their CLAM.

So, as expected, I shot myself in the foot and made a big public splash about it.

Your crypto currencies are still safe from collisions...
378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It appears BurtW had his BTC/CLAM addy private key collide with a Dogecoin addy. on: November 02, 2017, 02:56:25 AM
Next question:

I did a dumpprivkey on the CLAM wallet and got the private key.

However, when I go to BitAddress.org and enter it I get "The text you entered is not a valid private key, Version 133 not supported"

Is there anywhere I can decode the private key and get the HEX bytes?

It starts out correct:  Lh7Zb...
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMs, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Working-Stake, a.k.a. "Clamcoin" on: November 02, 2017, 02:49:12 AM
Against all odds I believe I have proof of a private key collision!

It all started when 25 CLAMs just up and left my wallet without my permission.

[...]

I would love another explanation.  Right now I am out 25 CLAMs.

This is fascinating. Do you still have the BTC wallet that you imported? Was it created by Bitcoin Core? What is the date of the first transaction in the BTC wallet? I'm thinking the wallet could have been created and stolen before the CLAM airdrop. Bitcoin Core back then used to pre-generate 100 addresses when it created a wallet, so that the next 100 addresses it used would be in any backups you made. Could it be that the BTC address was lying dormant in your wallet before the CLAM airdrop?

It's curious that the corresponding DOGE address was funded just 2 days before the airdrop happened. Was the attacker seeding the DOGE chain with a view to later carrying on exactly this kind of attack?

Kind of a personal question, but has the BTC wallet ever held enough coins to make it worth stealing? Have you experienced any such thefts? Are you the same BurtW was in trouble with the alphabet boys a while back? Could they have messed with any of this stuff? How does the timing match up there?

I'd love to get to the bottom of this, but am not very hopeful about it.

It's a shame to hear of a loss.
Fortunately for you, it is less than $200.

Anoter explanation?   Your computer could be keylogged/infected.  (Unlikely if only a sub $200 loss).

While possible, it seems like a weird thing for the attacker to do. Why only steal 25 CLAMs when the wallet contained much more? Why steal them using a very old DOGE private key? It just doesn't seem to add up.
I am working on a theory that does not involve an address collision and is just me shooting myself in the foot.  There is a new thread about this subject.  If you could answer my question here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2344004.msg23896718#msg23896718

then I will import your questions above and answer them there, tomorrow morning.

Basically I would like to know if there is any way to differentiate between private keys generated by the wallet and private keys imported into the wallet.  If the private key was generated by the wallet that is one thing and would indicate an actual address collision but if I can prove that I (or someone?) imported the address then, well, that would be interesting.

380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It appears BurtW had his BTC/CLAM addy private key collide with a Dogecoin addy. on: November 01, 2017, 10:10:25 PM
I am having a very hard time believing this is an actual private key collision, especially since it appears to have happened twice with this same private key.  When I get a chance I am going to look at the actual private key and see if it is "special" in some way.

The most likely scenario is that I screwed up and shot myself in the foot - somehow.  But, so far, I have not been able to come up with any theories as to how I did that.

Is there any way I can see if a private key was imported into my CLAM wallet versus having been generated by the wallet?  That would help.  If I imported this private key that might explain some of the mystery.
