361  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: December 11, 2013, 02:53:45 PM
With out knowing what stage this ASIC project is at it's impossible to say if it is worth doing, we will just have to wait and see what lab-rat decides in a few weeks time.

I guess I was completely spot on with this then? Since it was deleted? There was literally no other reason to delete my speculation (which I said it was) unless it was a little too accurate for comfort.

IntelliHash

I can't see how intellihash could possibly work... the only thing it possibly could be is an over-clocking utility. It cannot change a chip (Ken said it would work on avalons too), it cannot fake proof-of-work (and if it can, bitcoin is broken), so the only option is an over-clocking utility. Which would be coherent with the 20% increase quoted, as that would be about the max you could reliably overclock.

TLDR; IntelliHash is, in my judgement, an overclocking utility.

Did you read that old KnC article? They got their 30% performance boost from cgminer tweaking. If this is the case, then the delay with the chips is unrelated to the Intellihash development.

except Ken has explicitly said that the chips will be late due to alterations needed for Intellihash. He has also said that Intellihash could be a game changer for ActM, I don't thin he would use this language lightly in a formal update about the company.

Upon further review, you are correct:

Intellihash(tm)

Intellihash is our new trademark for our new Bitcoin mining software which gives up to a 20% increase in hashing speed and has the possibility to increase the speed of our mining machines as the difficulty goes up.  We have had to modify the software in our chips to make it work with our new software.  The chips are going to be late; however, our new Intellihash software could be a game changer for the company.

I don't believe I'll be talking about this on a public forum anymore in respect of Ken's wishes. I'm satisfied that Intellihash is real and will be very good for our miners.

The problem with this is kleeck, that ken also said:

Quote
AMC expects to use its Intellihash technology to increase its revenue with its existing machines until its eASIC designed chip is in full production.

That means it doesn't require chip modification. It can only be an overclocking utility.

Or that the Intellihash tech already works with the avalons and doesn't need any modifications to those chips to work but modifciations are needed for the eAsic chips.

It's possible Ken has been working on Intellihash for quite some time using the Avalon chips for testing since he had no eAsic chips available at the time and when they arrived and he tested it on the eAsic chips he realised some modifications were needed.

Has anyone done any math to figure out what value might be held with LRM bonds at 100TH? So far, my figures don't look spectacular... as always.. order time and difficulty are the neutralizer. I want to see mathematical reasoning for expecting any sustainability, if not growth.

BTW: I'm estimating dividends will yield ~BTC0.001225/bond this coming weekend... but... decaying down again in following weeks until any new hardware is received (well, after two weeks of separate mining).

How does 0.001225 compare to the best weekly div's to date of all other weeks? I'm going to take a guess that it's higher, but not much better than the next best - despite having 5 times more hashing power.  Undecided

Yeah those two weeks of mining dividends had better buy multiples of our total hashrate right now otherwise this venture is going downhill and fast. Doesn't look like all those bonds are gonna be sold either so what that means for the asic chip idea is anybody's guess right now.
I have a horrible feeling lab_rat is planning on using the two weeks of mining dividends to fund this asic chip idea and when the inevitable delays come from the asic chip this business will be in deep deep trouble.

Would you like to persuade me otherwise please lab-rat?

Agreed. I believe this was Ken's way of telling us that we are going to be knocking out some of the most ground breaking bitcoin mining machines ever seen with out trying to give too much away to our competitors.

Ken isn't just 'the boss' he's 'a boss' and will make himself and others very wealthy if they are prepared to hold on for the ride.

If you have no stock and are posting every single day in this thread then you're not fine. It may take you a long time to realise it but you need to get outside more, enjoy life and quit posting in a thread where nobody cares what you think.

Dear Ken,

Thank you for your continued hard work despite the never ending barrage of abuse and accusations from certain forum members.

Seeing a PR post and likely weekly updates is a great step forward. Having short term weekly targets that shareholders can see you hitting every week should help to boost confidence.

I feel like most of the hate has come from people trying to buy cheap shares in a company that is soon to be worth many multiples of IPO price, there are others whom as a result of the drastic increase in valuation of bitcoin have more fiat tied up in this endeavor than they feel comfortable with, although with Crypto-trade coming online very soon this can be alleviated to some extent. I'm sure they still believe you will come through but with so much $$$ on the line and a less than adequate amount of spherical objects to see it out, they sometimes get a little worked up and vent at you.

Many/most of the shareholders of this company are not learned investors they are simply a random collection of people from all walks of life who were at the right place at the right time and had some bitcoins.

I urge you to stay calm in the face of this abuse and use it to motivate you going forward to create as you yourself describe 'the world's largest bitcoin mining farm'.

Many of us still believe in you and eAsic to pull this off and we all eagerly await the day you post pics of our eAsic chips hashing away. That moment will be the single greatest achievement of the company so far and will silence all of the trolls instantly.

Good luck Ken and thank you again,

Sparky999

This is quite clearly not a scam anyone who really thinks that is insane. A scammer does not pay out $500k+ in dividends.

What happens if the additional shares aren't sold with regards to the asic chip project?
370  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: December 07, 2013, 09:43:24 AM
Ken,

I want to say first, thank you for the work you are doing for the company and your resolve in operating in such a competitive environment and with so much at stake.

For the past several hours, many of the top shareholders have met in IRC and discussed the "communication issue" as we see it. We have received sporadic communication from you for various reasons having to do with operating under an NDA as well as SEC guidelines. We also understand the desire to keep certain proprietary information hidden from competitors.

Due to communication being so tight, we are in a position where we do not currently KNOW why chips are delayed. It was implied that this was a choice made by you so that Intellihash could be implemented. We believe that competing effectively is necessary for AMC's success, however we have no information as to how Intellihash affects our timeline.

While we are not yet listed on an exchange, we are making a public request that you assent to not sell any of your personal ACTM shares until it can be verified that customers have received their shipped orders and until shareholders have a more clear understanding of the timeline moving forward.

This is simply a request to demonstrate good-faith and help re-establish trust among shareholders.

Please respond to this before we go live on Crypto-Trade.

Thank you for everything and keep up the great work!

I assume this message means it worked?

{"result":"OK","msg":"Your shares have been verified."}
373  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: December 05, 2013, 02:07:15 PM
why on earth would Ken not put those details in the November update, those few lines told us almost everything we wanted to know apart from a date for chip delivery.

Sometimes I just can not fathom what must go through Ken's head.

Can someone tell me when the shares signing is live?

You should be able to verify share ownership now.

doersn't seem to be working for me - I just get an error message when I click verify

failed to open stream: Connection refused in /var/www/beta/libs/jsonRPCClient.php on line 132

How long does the verify take? I entered my signed msg and clicked verify, the button is forever "Verifying Messages..."

i had same thing if you press the button again it will give you same error message as me i guess

Any intelligent guesses for what price we can expect ActM to get to when it goes up on Crypto-Trade?

0.0075 would be my best guess

' AMC expects to use its Intellihash technology to increase its revenue with its existing machines until its eASIC designed chip is in full production'

Does this imply the IntelliHash technology doesn't just work with the eAsic chips but with the Avalons as well? Which makes me think Ken is planning on selling this Intellihash technology to other companies or as an aftermarket patch to customers from competitors to increase their hash rate by up to 20% as well. This must be what he means by a game changer for the company.
