361  Economy / Economics / Re: If you hold 1 BTC you are a pioneer on: May 01, 2016, 08:46:07 PM
i think 1 btc is fairly though to be honest. right there there are about 15 million coins mined so far. lets assume about 1 million are lost permanently. meaning you are 1 in 14 million people who hold a bitcoin. that doesnt sound like pioneering to me.
362  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: May 01, 2016, 04:54:13 PM

364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving is a profitable??? on: May 01, 2016, 04:16:49 PM
depends on who you are talking about. its definitely not gonna become for profitable for the miners because their reward is going to be halfed. but itwill be profitable for the hodlers because the price of bitcoin is bound to go up.

I believe it will be pretty profitable to me.
365  Other / Off-topic / Re: Buying stuff with paypal nowadays on: May 01, 2016, 04:15:20 PM

366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: May 01, 2016, 04:13:27 PM
eh kind of, im holding my btc because its just interesting to me. i want to hold a bit of currency that there limited quantity of. and the the fact that the price is going to increase is just a bonus to me.
367  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many btc do you have? on: April 30, 2016, 04:42:33 PM
What is a good amount to have? Is there some kind of club if you own a certain amount?  Like the 21 btc club or some shit? What is average, and big pimpin?

I never go lower than 21, is that good or bad?
to me 21 bitcoins is an extreme amount thats almost $12000 CAD. Never would i imagine myself getting anywhere close to that many bitcoins.
for me i usually stay about 2 bitcoins, unless i feel like the price is fairly low then i buy upto 4 maybe 5 coins.
368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How halving will affect big mining companies? on: April 30, 2016, 04:40:23 PM
i think the mining companies would still be making profit but at a much smaller rate. the cloudmining companies however would probably always lose money so im curious to see what would happen to those.
369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: April 30, 2016, 04:39:00 PM
im definitely sure that no where in the near future bitcoin will make banks dissappear. banks play a major role in the economy that cant be replaced by a cryptocurrency. like peoples loans from banks, people take loans to pay mortgages and stuff and bitcoin as a currency doesnt allow for that.
370  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: April 29, 2016, 07:22:20 PM

372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bill Clinton is now a Bitcoiner. on: April 29, 2016, 12:44:54 PM
just because someone gave him a free bitcoin doesnt mean hes turned into a bitcoin user, i doubt clinton will ever even look up anything about bitcoin wallets and what to do with them.he just doesnt have the time.
373  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can i enter a signature campaign on: April 29, 2016, 02:32:07 AM
Hello, I'm a new member of this forum. I'm new to bitcoin too and just start to earn it through foucet. I heard that there is a signature contest in which member can earn bitcoin via posting and i want to know how to participate. Basically you advertise their site through your signature, right?
as a newbie you shouldnt worry about joining a signature campaign just yet. i suggest gaining a rank on this forum, getting a feel for the community here and then finding a company or product that you would like to promote and start using that for your signature.
374  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to collect BTC ?? on: April 29, 2016, 02:30:26 AM
I was very trouble to collect BTC,
I want to ask

means anything that can be used to collect BTC? Then the means which are getting more BTC?
plenty of ways to get a hold of some btc. you could straight up buy it, this being the easiest way. or you could earn it online by doing some work, this being the hard way with little payout. or you could gamble online, this being the risky way with potential for significant payout.
375  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: April 29, 2016, 02:28:05 AM

376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: April 28, 2016, 09:12:01 PM
Gambling is risky game of money from which most people lose and just a few wins. Gambling too is addictive and fun especially when you're winning and that's why most people can't get away from gambling once they get in it.
In gambling you only win from the start then you lose whenever you win a certain amount.
its definitely not a sickness in my opinion. its something people do for fun. you dont always lose money, and there are the same amount of success stories as there are fail stories.
377  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin continuous rising? on: April 28, 2016, 09:06:31 PM
Bitcoin has been rising up this past few weeks and continue to rise, what do you think?
will bitcoin continue to rise at the end of the month or it will have a sudden drop?
i dont think its a continuous anymore, bitcoin has been around 450 for the past week now . i think that 450 is probably the upper limit on the price.
378  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: April 28, 2016, 09:04:25 PM
Share with us what's your main reason for buying bitcoins?
im not buying bitcoins right now mainly because the price currently is too high. but if the price does drop around 400 or below 400 i would prolly buy some btc.
379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: April 27, 2016, 03:22:35 PM
A lot of people here gamble to become rich, but some do it for fun.

The question is, if you wake up tomorrow with 50 million dollars, would you still gamble for fun, or would you forget about gambling and do other stuff? Personally I think I would still gamble. I do it now, and I know I realistically will never get rich off gambling, because I barely do it and I don't risk much money, just for fun sometimes, to test my luck.
So if I had a lot of money, I would do bigger gambles, but they would still enter in the "for fun" amount (for the new 50 million standard). For example, gambling 1K a month would be irrelevant, and winning with a 1K bet can give you big rewards if you are lucky. It would still be fun, in fact more fun, and it would be as non risky as it is now, in terms of going financially bankrupt.
i dont think i can afford to gamble until i get rich. if i somehow got 50 million dollars, i wouldn't care too much about losing money and would be open to gambling some of it, but until i get rich i wouldn't.

plus i dont think the bot farmers have automatic captcha recognition, i think they manually sign up and then let the bots do the work. I doubt the longer captchas would have any effect. and if a newcomer to the forum is genuinly interested in bitcoin, I don't think they would mind the 360 timer. i know i didnt mind it at all because i knew once my rank goes up itll go down
