Interesting coin, my only comment would be all investors exercise due diligence.  Bitsta is a competent developer, however i would suggest reading up on his history and coins he has been involved in before investing BTC into this project.

hi powersup.

hope you re doing good.

well i d also like to add a comment. true that i was involved in a lot of other projects. but none of them
was initially launched by me. so this is my first official coin i am standing behind with my name.

have a nice day.

Hi folks,

just want to make a small progress update:

we prepared the sources and started coding.
i rotated all keys (checkpointsigning, alert) to provide you
full controll over ICG. Next i ll prepare the GUI-tweaks and
additional features.

i ll push the changes shortly.
you can keep track of the work at:
https://github.com/bitsta/IncogCoin

cheers,
bitsta

Awesome bro +1 Bitsta what r ur experiences in coding?

hey Collegestudent,

i ve coded a lot in C/C++ and java.
have also 2-3 year experience with .net framework - espescially C# and ASP.net
but just because of work..

at the moment i am doing a lot java-based coding - both on ADT and JDK.

i was also involved in some cryptoprojects and was core-dev of CTM (continuumcoin).
and then there are the basic things which i don't count to (hardcore)coding like html, css, JS, ajax, python, perl, etc..
the basics of every coder.

vote the scrypt Smiley
the sha-256 hash too big Angry

Scrypt sound good for me.  Cool

also vote for scrypt.
like via

alright. 3 votes counted towards scrypt.
(looks like we are going in that direction - got only scrypt votes for now)
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] RootCoin [ROOT] - ANON-tx using BitKey™- PoW/PoS + Proof of Investment on: July 29, 2014, 01:01:38 PM
1.What if the sender redeems coins right after he sends the private key?
2. About the new multipool, if someone choose the second option, what will he get? It seems that he just sacrifices his own interests....

1. i am the sender. for those who have concerns about the risk
that the keys get reused i also offered to send the coins to an provided address after the launch.

2. well if you own a lot of coins and could minimize the cap to ensure a stable market and minimize the cap, your interests may be the opposite. but i guess it just depends on the point of view.

Dev, will you also include X13/X15 in the vote?

no sorry. only sha256 or scrypt.
regards

this is self-moderated topic.
and the dev like delete reply

i only delete "irrelevant" posts...

i.e.
why are you posting obvious facts?
that makes no sense.

anyway, if somebody posts trash or irrelevant stuff i ll
delete it as i am not willing to lock the original OP in
the future because of some childish/ignorant/rude ppl.

sorry if you don't like it. but as long as you don't attack
the project or users(including me) in an unpolite and
badmouthing way you don't have to worry to get deleted.

What is the relationship  icbergcoin and rootcoin ? Why the White Paper is the same.

i am helping the ICG-community by providing them my codingwork on contract base.

Interesting, thinking of investing. few questions:

1. Private keys are encrypted and sent over RPC-SSL? So that nasty OpenSSL heartbleed vulnerability would have created a gaping hole in rootcoin network. How can we be sure than OpenSSL - and so rootcoin - is safe to use?

no. private keys will be pgp-encrypted. RootCoin protocoll is safe. heartbleed bug affects rpcssl and ssl communication layer.
(well if you use an OLD openssl-version in your server-infrastructure and have a daemon running there, then you re not safe, thats right, but then also a bitcoindaemon or anyother sensible data wouldn't be safe) --> ROOTCOIN itself is a safe proejct.

Quote
2. if the sender's client is creating the private key, what is to prevent a double spend if the receiver does not sweep the key and transfer funds to their own address immediately?

thats also correct. i am the only person which will have access to the private-keys. means every investor should
transfer them to an own key to really make sure no risk is given.
and as i already posted in the OP. i am also able to transfer the coins AFTER the launch to a provided ROOT-addr.

hope it s clear. if you still have questions just drop me a note.

As long as the community is united, ICG will go forward.

And as long as the Dev is doing his job I don't think it's correct to accuse him for anything.

I would rather wish him success and support him.

+1

thats how adults act. correct.
thank you!

You're a total douche.

i won't start discussin with you on this level.
getting rude shows me your level of maturity.
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICG][X11] IncognitoCoin CommunityTakeover| NO PREMINE | HIGH POS | Bittrex on: July 29, 2014, 11:02:34 AM
no i am not part of their team. i am just doing contract-based adaptions for their sourcecode.
well it s not sure if i ll implement BitKey into their coin or not. I might get back to original
contract specifications which would mean i ll implement them an slave-node system for anon-tx.
that would be an adapted mixing-node "network". but i think i ll stick with my solution which seems
more professional.

ROOTCOIN will be first coin to have BitKey implemented and longterm support. thats for sure.

You're paying this guy 6 BTC and he isn't even sure if he'll put in his best effort because he has a conflict of interest with a coin he just started himself?

thats totally bullshit and nonsense. i always put my best effort into all projects i am involved in.
and i also stated that i ll stick with my solution! ICG will be rocking once i am done with it.

i won't let others bring me or our plans down.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] RootCoin [ROOT] - ANON-tx using BitKey™- PoW/PoS + Proof of Investment on: July 29, 2014, 11:00:33 AM
Deleting my post about being paid 6 BTC to implement anon in another coin and slacking on it? I have more channels than this asshole if you want to play that game.

what are you exactly talking about. yeah thats already a public information that i charged a coding fee from the ICG community for a contract-based work. Also you re mixing stuff dude. i ve been paid 3 BTC. not 6 BTC like you said. but nothing to do in this thread as it has absolutely NOTHING to do with this project.

so again. it s up to me if i implement MY technology or their concept. ONE THING IS FOR SURE: i always put 110% into projects i am involved in. So as the ICG-community put that kind of trust in me (to safe their coin) i will make sure their coin will be rocking
after my implementations.

i am bitsta and the author of the whitepaper. BitKey is my intelectual property.

holy s**t, you are too! My apologies.

no problem!

sometimes the posted information isn't clear enough and needs to be clarified.
therefor it s important/good to ask.

Why IncognitoCoin white paper and the coin of the white paper is the same??

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=714716.0

whitepaper is an scientific-paper regarding my new developed anon-tx solution.

So will ICG have the same working anon technology? Are you the part of ICG team? Thanks

no i am not part of their team. i am just doing contract-based adaptions for their sourcecode.

Will be looking at it as bitsta isnt a newbie and can deliver what he promises..

thanks for the feedback!

I've upped my investment to 4 btc.

Lots of promise in this complex yet efficient technology.

Reading

Could TxID's be provided for more transparency? I believe you'll be able to complete the entire IPO if people see transparency.

Good luck!

yes of course!
the list you see are just reservations. i will post signed msg with BTC-addr for the initial distribution.
i ll also send it to every investor.

thank you!

cheers,
bitsta
