~snip Chelsea will easily qualify from the groups of AC Millan, Dotmund, and PSG. The only two occasions we did not advance from the group stage, we went undefeated in the Europa League.
somehow, agree to this even being like this as it is now, Chelsea managed to kick Dortmund from CL last season and Dortmund was better than now Newcastle and Manchester (both United) didn't managed to get at least 3rd spot and continue European path, probably worst CL group stage for English teams, at least as I remember it maybe some statistician better than me would pull-out a season where more than 2 English teams finished 4th in CL group stage

~snip So far , I like the following games : Ferencvaros - Fiorentina both to score , Legia - Alkmaar both to score , Paok - HJK under 3.5 goals , Ludogorets - Nordjs under 3.5 goals.
not sure about Legia vs Alkmaar, should be an intense match, Alkmaar needs a win to go through, and Legia will probably play defensively interesting round, few spots are open, and there is a lot of fight for first spot, to be free in first kick-out round Fenerbahce should be a good pick to have goals today, they need a win over Trnava, and I presume they will have it easily and with a lot of goals, so it is just which handicap to pick there

~snip Shame I didn't listen to myself, this time the risk would have paid off. I'm really surprised that there weren't any 'all in-s' on Milan though - the odds were too good for a Hail Mary.
The fight with Ulven in Pot A will be really interesting, we have some distance from the rest and with less games to go, it will hopefully come down to the wire.
Milan win at least brought me Southampton shirt while weighting surprises, Antwerp was not an option, but Barcelona is obviously not playing some great football lately yeah, Ulven is 25 globally, you are also top100, so it is great to see that some players from our pool are getting into top spots globally looking at it that way, maybe my result to be near the bottom in this pool is just because of how good others are ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) all the best in kick-out rounds

~snip Don't know how many here follow Champions league, but I want to beag a bit about fans of team that I support - Rytas Vilnius. Yesterday over 350 fans travelled over 1000 km away from home to Opava in Czech Republic tu support team. Too bad that I can't video with their performance in arena, but it was amazing, you rarely can see such huge road trips in European basketball. They were welcomed warm by friendly locals, beer was cheap and good. My only regret that I wasn't there: https://youtu.be/7AlFpIBNSPY?si=kqvjJN9AnVv1HbMNI also follow it, not that close, but it is a good basket there nice to hear that Rytas has passionate supporters, is it usual practice to have fans in Europe away matches? I really like to see it, especially when it is all in friendly atmosphere Partizan is playing in Lithuania tonight, and players are welcomed yesterday on airport by basketball fans will be a good one against Zalgiris, both teams have some team issues with injuries, and hoping for the best after two wins last week edit: Zvezda is playing Alba at home tonight, and Zvezda have no win over Alba at home in last four seasons, probably only team in Euroleague that can't win over Alba at home

~snip Same here, never passed first round. Was having high hopes for this time since I knew I had 1:0 lead. Then I was out on Bryan Adams concert and lost whole day yesterday and today I see I managed to loose once more.
One more classic cup blunder from team Trofo. Will update the draw after penalties today.
same here, I am always out first round (or second in my case, since I was free in first round) hopefully this time will be different if I am remember right, my opponent Navidart kicked me from cup last season, so it is a good time to make it different this time all the best and my the luckier opponent pass through

~snip Edit: I read that article. These players were dropped from squad but still under contract. Like Sancho at United. Not named in squad but still getting paid.
and that looks as really a good option for player that is not having some ambition to improve his career, especially if he already play at United, for a great wage seems that Rashford is another example from the same team, he got new wages this season, and obviously decide to skip playing it, maybe he will be back next season waiting for an opponent in cup, good to be free, since I have missed almost all the answers in first round ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

No chance for Sevilla, nobody will see them in Europa this season unfortunately, I lost a lot because of them I thought their destiny was Europa. And in fact also no chance for United, equally out. To think both teams did so well in Europa, and played like shit in Champions League.
Best team to win it, still Liverpool? Klopp plays B squad there though so my doubts is heavy on them. Brighton? Maybe Villareal? lol
yeah, Sevilla is out and that leaves a space for a fight there Liverpool is certainly a best team in competition, but looking at odds tomorrow against Royale does bring a question Union Royale win is @2.15, while Liverpool DC not to lose is @1.7, had to check did Royale rented some Haaland and Alvarez in attack for tomorrow, but they obviously didn't, it is just bookies prediction Liverpool would not be interested for tomorrow match still, it is a value bet @1.7 them not to lose, IMO

thought between Braga and Zvezda tonight, where to put my 10 stakes, and decided on Braga and they had to score own goal to begin their game, and crush my chances
hopefully City will not lose tonight, although that looks as value option on a bet where both teams don't have anything to play for, and City is full of injuries
overall, CL rounds are always bad for me, so it is not something new, although last year took position 5 in the end but list night, Sevilla dropped out from Europe, and Lens make all Europa league competitors happy, since they will not have to fight Sevilla for that title

That's a lot of points you're leaving on the table. I know I'll transfer him out for sure after the Newcastle game.
yeah, with AFCON coming to town, it is a real question what to do he is expensive, but there is not much value in players valued 8M+ compared to players valued at 6M+, if you choose right and three of them can set you for Salah price other option is to play with 5-6M in you balance, which is hardly a goal, and those are 2 FT, with some money as well, since his price was rising maybe good timing can settle that one?

By the way, it is no longer possible to bet on the Girona title with good odds - after they beat Barcelona, the bookmakers sharply changed their opinion and now the quote is 5.88 (and before the game it was 20+ lol).
it is a bit off-topic, but now is a good chance to bet on others, not on Girona at least if you are being realistic, and expect Girona to fail at some point, which I don't say will happen, but it is widely expected ~snip We've spent more than 1bn on transfer and yet our team is on the same level with Fulham and Bournemouth. It took Pep less than £700m to assemble the current Manchester city squad.
Fulham and Bournemouth are proper teams compared to Chelsea

looking at cup questions made me realize that United didn't score on Anfield since 2018, they are a joke and conceived 17 goals from Liverpool in four matches last two seasons
since, it is qualified as derby, and one have to approach things with respect
will put picks a bit later today, have to throw a coin on one question from last five

Yep, we don't thrill but we still manage to collect the points somehow. With Villa leading, it looks like we'll finish this round on top. To be honest, Villa is one of the nicest surprises of the season. I feel they'll manage to secure top 4 - they look way better than Spurs, United and Newcastle.
Couldn't agree with you more. I'm still sore from Villa leading 2-0 on the final day of season under Gerrard when old boy Coutinho almost helped us win the title, but I think this team's day in the sun was a long time coming. I actually wouldn't be mad at all if they win the league. Beat the title holders and runner's up back to back with clean sheets, you deserve it all. will quote my pre-season post, where AI software predicted Villa in top3 ~snip actually, some official EPL AI super-computer predicts City to be on top, Newcastle on 2nd, Villa on 3rd and Arsenal to close CL spots, can't find that image at the moment
if I am not wrong, Liverpool is seen on position 7, sure that Everton is on 12th, and for relegation Burnley, Forest and Luton
although they missed Liverpool on 7th, Newcastle being on 2nd, and probably missed Sheffield to stay in the league, but that could still change on expense of Forest that it indicated as third team to relegate

|
|
~snip Then again, it's really the style that should have suited them and I still really think they got robbed by PSG.
not just them, I was robbed by that goal as well joking aside, UEFA officials also confirmed that it wasn't a penalty, but overall, what good that has been, it was a draw and it will stay like that nevertheless, I am not planning to make a bet on Milan, just thinking that they are closer to win and also would like to see PSG out, if possible Dortmund lost two important matches in last few days, it is really hard to expect they will lose third as well, but also possible
|
|
|
looking at Newcastle questions in another promo make me realize that Newcastle has scored goals only against PSG in this season CL group two times against Dortmund, and once against Milan and they can't score will this repeat on Wednesday, fully interesting last round there, PSG is probably want to see Milan on top there, since that is opening them to pass with a draw against Dortmund, if Newcastle wins, they will need to win as well
and IMO, Milan is closer to win than Newcastle there
|
|
|
~snip Everton on the other hand, they look like fire.
first time that 3 Evertonians in my squad paid off this season both in defense for clean sheet, and Doucs with another goal, not much, but nice to see them all having above usual 2 points each not sure what will be my verdict on Haaland, probably will just bench him next round since leaving him out for next round, and due to club world cup would just require 2 free transfers, and can't say that I have picks to replace him

~snip casperBGD 5-6 slackovic
~snip 5 points is not a bad results, but playing against slackovic, eager to bright his picture after 1:7 in last round, and he scored best results congrats once more nevertheless, remain on top ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) have to say that this bring me into United situation, they will have same issue playing against Bayern that will be eager to see themselves in better light than against Frankfurt it does look as catastrophe mounting on Old Trafford for home team (as if Bournemouth wasn't enough)
|
|
|
-snip Just look at my team. After losing to cryptofrka 7-1 in the last round, I managed to beat casperBGD who didn't lose one game in this season. And not only that. I managed to win the freebet award for this week. I guess that loss in the last round fired up my team so we managed to win against the leader of division 1.
yeah, can't that I had bad round, but you had great round, and it was all that Everton won over Chelsea, and that made it one goal difference in our duel, could be important for final standing and it is really big for Everton, 3rd win, 3rd clean sheet in a row, no 10 points deducation can take tradition away, and get us to relegate

Silly Valencia, I had them to draw, and they held out for so long even with 10 men, but now not only can you never trust them to win, now you can trust them to lose. It's not even a "big" team, it's Getafe. Los Che were kinda dumb to say Girona ran them off last game and then don't improve, lets Getafe run them off. ~snip
another last minute lose for Valencia ok, it is not exactly last minute, but it was behind 80 minutes, and it is not first time same old Valencia as last season, whereas someone made a table with Valencia being 2, if matches were to be 75 minutes, most goals conceived were after that moment it is a sign that Valencia need to change physiotherapist, if anything else
