never give up. Matory pretty much says that the market sentiment sucks, nobody is buying or selling much, there isnt much of a community, and the info on the OP isnt updated. We already knew this. A competent team can still take over if theyd like to.
He already said it would be easier to start a new coin...why would anyone take this over? I dont understand how it would be easier? The coin is right there. Just because the volume in the market sucks and nobody has control of the OP doesnt make much of a difference. Can always start a new thread. The only people who care about this coin or its future anymore are bag holders who held too long. Good luck getting any investors interested again. It's just not going to happen. There's no money to be made anymore, thus nobody cares. It's the nature of the industry. Many coins have tried to reboot, all have failed. There's just too many new coins out there, and too many new coins being born every day. Cut your losses while you still can, and move on. Don't waste anymore time or money on this. You got scammed. Everyone did. Some got out even, some made a profit, some lost, and some are still losing. |

Just bought 109k DGB! All I can afford right now... It's hard to get USD on the market. I'll be glad when that get's changed for DGB  Make a splash at the convention! We are working hard to make this much easier for DGB! Convention going well so far, all the big banks are represented here! Can you tell us something more about DigiPay? I'm so curious... We don't need a detailed plan of course, but some info? Digipay was one of the more interesting things planned for DGB. all it needs is for ahmed to talk to e.exchangers as it could be somthing as simple as a compileing issue causeing the api issue
or ahmed could just coppy e.exchangers changes into the source that he has and see if that works
everyone is moaning at me but i have done nearly all i can do i have spent all the crypto i own other than adt on fixing this i could have dumped my holdings for over 3000 ltc ( nearly 100k at the time but i would never do that to the users of adt )
Last night I spent more than 2 hours adding what I thought was a simple RPC/API function (getstakinginfo) to a coin I maintain. All this function does is output 11 values related to staking, but it turned out to be a lot harder than I originally expected. I wonder if that's something like this "API issue" with ADT - where adding something simple actually requires multiple parts of the source to be changed. The source code is so complex that I didn't even try to trace all of the dependencies, I just repeatedly compiled then fixed the missing variable or function that each compile choked on. (Repeat these two steps about 15 times) Regardless, if you can get that source or patch from e.exchanger, someone else with a stake (no pun intended ) in ADT can probably fix it... it's in their interests to get the coin going again. I own peanuts (literally - like $1 worth of ADT) but I'll even have a quick look. Fix it and I'll have 2 mil adt waiting for you. |

An update from me: I have been in the mountains the last couple days without much cell service so that is why I haven't posted much. I was able to do some thinking about HyperStake though. I think it will be best if we hold off on the inflation control hard fork for now and then have a hard fork a month or two from now that will get a few things accomplished. I am thinking about doing a few things such as changing how stake weight is calculated. I am thinking that giving a minimum stake weight value when your coins mature (something like 100) would be beneficial for those with just a few coins, without changing the incentives too much. Also a maximum stake weight so that the network will have a safe guard against abuse. I would still like to change the block time so that inflation will be a bit more regulated as well. Until the hard fork I will continue to add improvements to the wallet. I will probably be adding stakeforcharity from HBN and unlockformint in the next day. Concerning prices... the market will decide where the coin is best priced. Is the current price undervalued or overvalued? For me it is impossible to know what the market thinks, but I do know that I have certain prices I consider a bargain. Great update. I think its a good idea to give incentives to people with few coins. I like the proposed changes to staking. |

E.exchangers is also helping me on my project as well, so far so good. Maybe you should setup some DNS seeders so that it has a better time formulating the blockchain consensus?
I think the issues seen mainly stemmed from coins staking without the wallet being synced but it can also be a combination of different parameters. If you set up some seed nodes I think it should help with the network, also what about making the maximum staking age unlimited, shortening the staking minimum and getting rid of POW altogether? There are a lot of options now for types of security like multi-algorithm or merge mining but generally I think pure POS with some nice modifications is the way to go. Whatever you go for inflation model is probably less important than bloat and block formation.

Proof of Stake time will be 15 days ( every 21600 blocks ) Does it mean I have to wait 15 days for the first PoS payout or I misunderstand smthng? 15 days for the first PoS payout. (This time starts from the day you transferred the coins into your wallet) I see. And how often after the first payout will I get payouts? Right now I can see that either nobody's staking, or the payouts are appearing very infrequently. If it's the second then maybe we should change the PoS algorythm so the network become more-less alive? That was what the hard fork was for. However since e.exchanger never turned up with any code i cant implement what he did and i'd rather not do it myself as im not used to PoS coins. (I've only ever made PoW coins, ADTv2 was my first PoS one) Maybe someone can ask Tranz or another dev to implement it Changes in PoS algo is a certain movement for this coin, because 2 blocks for the entire day is awful! almightyruler, sure I'll wait and watch. Somethings tells me that this one will be brought back to life I'm sure a lot of People have their coins stuck in cryptsy so thats probably another reason not many coins are staking. |
