I am holding my coins, I think this coin has potential. Investors never do panic selling or buying, its just some penny profit takers Smiley

Sent 1k to Zerocoin bounty  Wink

Updated the OP, Thank you for your donation!

I will have information including a whitepaper on zerocoin integration and what we will be doing with Dreamcoin including more timeline information and possibly preview by 5/24 is what I am shooting for.

Good job Smiley

I will not sell what i have!. Go away!

Please keep the coins, which will give you some good memory.

I swear I have never minted/traded and will never mint and trade Dreamcoin and Libertycoin.   Grin

Good for you, then why are you wasting your time on this thread? Why don't you go away?
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Dreamcoin [DRM] - X11 - PoW/PoS - Poloniex - Bittrex ~ 15% PoS! on: May 13, 2014, 10:24:11 AM

Simple conclusion: Dreamcoin does not have the expected function as Zerocoin believed to have.
One more troll. If you would have read this thread properly, you would not have posted this s**t to defame the coin. Whenever a coin becomes successfully guys like you come trolling about a possible scam. Dev has already answered all the question and the community is satisfied with that. We don't need your advise, go and troll somewhere else.

I am not giving you or Dreamcoin fans any advice. You all can live inside your dream.

I think for people who first visit this thread have the right to learn more what other people said.

If you guys don't like negative information, why don't you guys set up a self-moderated thread?

We would definitely like you negative feedback and get worried if Dev had not answered any question regarding this issue. Our community is satisfied and new people who come here and do some research will also be satisfied by Devs response and future plans. So after Devs response to this issue ,the information you are trying to give is irrelevant. Finally if you are so concerned about new people then let me tell you that the OP page does not state anywhere that Zerocoin is working but Dev has left a message about its future implementation, so thank you and go somewhere else.

I am not satisfied.  I have seen every coin start out with a premine, instamine,  of some sort and the FACT is just this... no one has  truly fair distribution.  I have scanning numerous coin calendars sites and new coins and never DreamCoin anywhere.  At least post it on a quick and easy high search calendar... unless you want it to be open to all but only communicated to a few.  Now that the coin has people past that point they are hopeful they can dump coin for SATS...  WAY TOO MANY COIN for anyone to be serious about this market.  Regulation obviously is not the answer.  Devs flipping coins then moving to another coin etc... etc... not many list full names... if not more than a handle.  The problem with ALL of these CRAP - but profitable - Coin is the same issue people have with the fiat system - TRUST.  All these 'communities' are nothing more than disorganized chaos struggling in s**t Pool of tech.  Any coin coming to the front with Dev Names, Customer Service, Communication strategy in place?   Not many, if any.

Good luck to the pumpers and dumpers.  It's what most of us are.  We will hold some but at high risk.  Risk analysis of all these crap coins is way past due.  How about the community start getting behind one coin.  Oh wait... that's what all coins claim to be.  Every business or project requires planning and lots of it.  Typically this includes sale or marketing channels and backend setup.  It appears that the nature of the 200+ coins is to leap before you look.

I don't like FIAT, but I also don't like the compartmental, no trustworthy nature of Crypto market.  Everyone is a hater and non accountability.. We all might as well be commentors complaining ridiculously on some blog. Serious investors would see this market at this point and wait for someone to come to the table with a plan and solidarity.

AND ALL THIS SHIT FOR NOTHING....YOU MUST BE DESPERATE .... Grin

+1 😀😀

To the trolls or dreamers with questions Smiley - I have already answered these questions about Ian's twitter and Zerocoin several times. I am (as in me) is implementing libzerocoin into Dreamcoin, It still has a lot of work to be done and Ian has a lot of work still to do for Zerocoin itself, he is obviously not working with us on Zerocoin, I had mentioned it would be cool if he would and that I would contact him, but of course, no reply and he has posted that on his twitter. Hope this clears things up, Zerocoin will be implemented, but as with anything great, it will take time as it isn't ready for primetime yet with the bugs and current issues it has. I have already begun working on the libzerocoin code, then it will be onto implementation if the code works out good and tests fine.

Once again the dev covered this and is working on it...

There is no need to continue to work on it.... Zerocoin dev discovered there was problem in the Zerocoin source code, and stopped working on it. Now they are developing Zerocash.

The real Zerocoin developer is not even finished with the code yet to create his coin release called "Zerocash".  Both of these new coins, Dreamcoin and Libertycoin, came out of nowhere at the same time, both having the words "Zerocoin" in their announcement titles.  I went investigating, wanting to invest in one of them if there was any hope of decent returns.  I went to Dreamcoin first and discovered the coin dev has already made something like 4-5 coins in the past year, Timecoin, Hashcoin, Matrixcoin, etc.  He's basically a serial coin cloner and his last coin was just released in April.

Some people managed to contact the Zerocoin anonymity function creator himself on twitter (lots of different posts and info there): https://twitter.com/secparam/status/465971947386720256

Both coins are advertised "Zerocoin" while having absolutely no Zerocoin functionality, or even close to it.  At best this is false advertising, at worst it's a scam.

Then there were claims of "working with the Zerocoin devs" to implement it in Dreamcoin, here is the Zerocoin developer's official response:

Code inspection of Dreamcoin:

http://pastebin.com/rknTJpWd

Let's say you want to invest in Dreamcoin anyway, fully knowing there is no Zerocoin functionality, and that the serial coin cloner dev is either trying to scam you or falsely advertise.

115 full block instamined, love it!

Next you have the problem that Zerocoin has EXTREMELY complex security vulnerabilities where you're basically required to have absolute trust in the coin creator or he can easily pull Asiacoin type frauds on you.  You do not want ANY kind of Zerocoin functionality except possibly from the Zerocash dev himself, and even then, it's still sketchy.  The only Zerocoin implementation that will ever be trusted is Zerocash, created by the Zerocoin dev, and even then, most security experts will still probably not trust it due to it's double spend security hazards.

Why some people become so shameless just to earn some bucks. Can't you read "Dev is contacting the developer and the problem will be resolved.

I hear people talking at other threads that zerocoin is abandoned by it's devs is it true ? Will this coin loose his value if there is no zerocoin ?

yes it will ...dont buy...this is scam....get out of here fast .... Grin

Yes. Don't buy or you will get burnt.  Grin

Go away troll 😀

Hey... Your written English is really poor, at least worse than mine. Are you a Chinese? Is Dreamcoin a Chinese Coin?  Huh

Yes my first language is not English but I am not Chinese and I have nothing to do with the development of this coin, I am just a small investor. And why don't you go away, Dev has answered all the questions and your information is irrelevant here because when new investor read the op page he will not find anything about the Zerocoin in this coin, just a explanation of future implementation. Don't try to spread FUD here. If you want to join out community then you are most welcome but your false information and FUD are not required here.
At last my English is not so bad as it seems, it's just because I am sitting in my performance management class in UK and replying by phone, so may be there are some mistakes.

115 full block instamined, love it!

The coin was launched with NO POOL so the dev could just sit there mining alone.  I looked up his past coins and those seem to have similar circumstances.

There was a big, false propaganda campaign against Shibecoin because the first 50 blocks were mined by a pool address that went to many different people.  Some fat, 50 year old idiot made an article about it on google search claiming a pool address is the dev's address and claiming the Shibecoin dev got it all, when he didn't.  This Dreamcoin has the first 115 full blocks probably going straight to the dev's pocket, not a pool, since the coin launched with no pool, and people give it a pass while calling Shibecoin a scam?  Are you kidding me?

Next you have the problem that Zerocoin has EXTREMELY complex security vulnerabilities where you're basically required to have absolute trust in the coin creator or he can easily pull Asiacoin type frauds on you.  You do not want ANY kind of Zerocoin functionality except possibly from the Zerocash dev himself, and even then, it's still sketchy.  The only Zerocoin implementation that will ever be trusted is Zerocash, created by the Zerocoin dev, and even then, most security experts will still probably not trust it due to it's double spend security hazards.

Just an advice, as you have already launched wallet with great features, the promotion and awareness about should also start as soon as possible because in the market there are so many people who are just ready to copy paste new things and market as their own. The credit of this must go to you and the Coino community.

Thanks

Thanks

But it's not that easy.

There are many coin dev's out there who can't even code a coin, let alone build a scalable gaming platform
If building gaming platforms was easy companies wouldn't be charging $10,000 a pop Smiley

It would also be pretty easy to prove that we had the first Smiley At the end of the day, others just copying will never be innovative.

We do intent to start promoting the Coin(O) Web Wallet after the next update which will make things a lot easier for non-crypto users to get into it.

Your Coin(O) Community Team

Okay thanks.

So whats this comment

Ian Miers ‏@secparam  6h
The Zerocoin team is not currently working w/ any altcoin on implementations. We are working on getting the new zerocash protocol working...

https://twitter.com/secparam

Is on the main page that dream will be like zero coin but there aint working with any alt coin

An explanation from the dev team would be well received.  Thanks

Atm the zercoin dev is very busy but i msged him and it seems he may be interested to help us out

Battbot I know you from Cinni. To answer your question, Dev has already answered these questions, even there is an statement on OP about this. I know you are a working hard for Cinni, do you also have intentions to join this team as well?  and one last thing people are just posting a part of full conversation to spread FUD. They are just trolls, who are jealous for any successful coin, you have seen that in Cinni as well. Best of luck for Cinni and I am still a long term investor in Cinni, I like it but I think this one will also be big.

Well thats awesome to wake up to so many good comments about Dreamcoin and seeing it listed on poloniex (Thanks busoni!)

To everyone talking about Zerocoin.

Libzerocoin code is implemented into Dreamcoin, The code is not fully ran in the system yet as there are only the beginning of some params coded into Dreamcoin itself.

Libzerocoin and Zerocoin itself have a lot of work to be done still by its developers and others (I personally have found many bug fixes and updates for the libzerocoin code, which I will be releasing by next week at latest) The actual integration into Dreamcoin will take some more time and a lot of testing before just put up live. I have contacted Ian the Zerocoin dev to get some more input and get in contact with me to help speed up the development process. I completely 100% support anonymity in new cryptos and I will be adding Zerocoin to Dreamcoin (Yes it is basically an extension of the network).

Unlike LibertyCoin, I know what I am doing, I will update the github in the coming weeks so more of you devs can review the code and see how the progress is coming along, updates to the current libzerocoin code will not affect Dreamcoin in a whole until it is completely integrated into the coin. I may be taking on some other devs to help with this as well to speed up the progress, once I get paid from my real world job.

Love you all! Peace and Dreams! Smiley I will be on all day today just like any other day, so if you have questions just shoot me a PM Smiley

One request dev, Can you put this message on OP page, because after every page some trolls keep coming start to mislead everybody. Sometimes there are genuine concern over this issue. It will be very useful to new community members if this message is on OP.

Thanks

I have updated the OP, Thanks vipin! Smiley Hopefully this will stop the random accusations and lies being spread. Cheesy Dream on haters!

Thanks Smiley

Zerocoin developer says on twitter about Dreamcoin/Libertycoin:

Quote
@MikeTheKite From looking at the repo, they copied our libzerocoin library in and did almost nothing else. No idea if they claim otherwise

You already got answer for this. Dev has answered this.

the only Dreams coming true are those from the developer; if Zerocoin is not implemented, which looks most likely.

It will be implemented in coming weeks.

Days ago the dev said it was fully implemented and working properly:

To those asking about Zerocoin, Yes Zerocoin is in alpha testing still, yes it is not entirely complete, the code is in Dreamcoin and is setup properly

I believe you misread a lot....Zerocoin is functional as is right now and has been tested in other coins and proved successful. It looks to be stable to me. A lot of people are starting to integrate Zerocoin now...There is a github for the source code of Zerocoin, so if you do find a problem, simply address it so it can be fixed.

I hope this is just a case of the dev making a mistake or being misinformed and not trying to trick people.

Then its my bad. But yeah it is a good news Smiley

Well, not really. Either he was lying about it being functional and properly set up, or he made a mistake when implementing the zerocoin code. Hopefully it's the latter.

By his behavior and pro-active reaction to these issues it seems like he was not lying, so the only option is the latter one. Everything will be fine just give him some time Smiley
