Looks like there have been a few more larger miners join the pool now.  Another pool in addition to the above would be usefu too, spread the load a bit.

Also, dont forget to mention CRN on the thread here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=417125.0

Also, make sure you add your support to the cryptsy request too.  No use mining all these coins of there isnt an exchange for them: https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/64105

And, if you havent got the mining power to get in on these coins before they hit an exchange, then head over here to trade with other people:

Network hash rate up, gaining popularity..  Just when one of my miners decides its getting too hot.  Great.  Down to about 3,000 KH/s for a while.

Edit: and now the wireless link has died, so all offline.  Sod it, off to bed I'll let the miners have a night off.  Cheesy

Something like hashcows or middlecoin.  You point your miner at one pool, and behind the scenes they switch to the most profitable coin at the time.  Saves you having to switch.

Imho better results can be had doing it yourself, as the multipools will auto exchange the coins, not necessarily at the best rates at the time.  The algorithms used to work out which coin is most profitable aren't always great.  If people want to hook up a miner and orget about it for an average return, then they may have a purpose, other than that I dont  bother with them anymore.

Confirmations take a long time, BUT, that may put off multipools in the future imho, so it is no bad thing.  Never underestimate the impatience of the multipool drones...  Make it unatractive to their whackamole game and its better placed to succeed.

So you say it would be better to mine alone and not with a pool?

No, pool mining would be better imho for your hash rate, but the coin confirmations will take a while.  You have those coins, they are safe, they just havent arrived in your wallet yet.

Head over here and help ge CRN noticed.   66m coins, 0.07% premine and no instamine from a select few.  This coin is more worthy of being shortlisted than majority of that list.

367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [POLL] Which coin do you want to see added to http://cryptokopen.eu ? on: January 16, 2014, 07:17:50 PM
Cryptonium or MicroCoin.   (CRN or MRC)

Both fairest coin launches in recent times and have either zero or 0.07% premine with open book accounts.

369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LOTTO COIN - The coin thats a game! Released 12/12/13 on: January 16, 2014, 01:53:56 PM

We had triple payments for first few days. YES public premine, everybody got a cut.

there was over 1 billion coins, mined in the first 3 days of launch, so what was left over to the devs is small compared to what most people got.

Which they had to pay electricity bills for, and have bought mining equipment for.   You are comparing apples with oranges.

I know of at least 2 people got who got over 50million during that time, im sure many people got more.

For free like the premine, or by spending a lot of money on electricity mining them, or actual money on the exchanges buying them?

The coins we got funded shitloads of payments here, there and everywhere. Whos got time to be recording that and for what point?

Even some people dont want it made public, that they were bribed or paid to do things.  so be it.
If people dont want it made public because they were bribed, then it says a lot about the integrity of people running or promoting this coin.  Keeping a log of transactions on a scale this small is a relatively minor job.  Its only a big job now because it wasnt done from the start - which says a lot about how professional this was from the outset imho but thats another story.

the stuff posted on the front page is an estimate of what went where.
If you were an investor looking to place funds into something that you wanted a return from, would you honestly put your money into something that could just provide "an estimate", over something as significant as the owners shareholdings? - because thats the equivalent of what this is.

And for anyone that can read both posts above, ask yourself who has provided the most professional way forward for this coin.  That should answer any questions about what needs to be improved here.
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LOTTO COIN - The coin thats a game! Released 12/12/13 on: January 16, 2014, 11:11:56 AM

I've had a chat to Hampz & mr lotto and their will be no more 'detail' provided about the pre-mine.

Well that idea died pretty quickly then.  Embarrassed

I thought there was a glimmer of hope of this now being taken seriously.  Oh well.  Back to normal.   More vouchers, more pumping...

There is a saying  - "Do what you've always done, and you'll get what you've always got".

Cool.

The exe file makes it very easy for newbie miners though, so well worth keeping it as an option.  Perhaps a link to a webpage with easy to follow steps for people new to mining,  complete with screenshots etc (like the sort of "quick setup" guide you get with software items today).
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CRN] Cryptonium Coin w/ DDoS protected pool! 66 millions coins in total on: January 16, 2014, 10:52:19 AM
May be worth having a zip version rather than self extracting/installing exe.   Although the exe is a nice touch, its "different" and people are very reluctant to run unknown exe files.  My Norton product flagged it up as "untested" and that it had only been installed by 6 members of the Norton community etc..   I was fine with it, but others may be uneasy about it.  Just a thought.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] microCoin MRC - Scrypt-Jane - nFactor - BOUNTIES - Released! on: January 16, 2014, 10:45:03 AM
Thats a way down the road yet though.  People can still mine with GPU until the crossover occurs,  and if the coin takes off, its difficulty will be higher when that crossover occurs, so anyone mining with GPU now and holding long term could be rewarded.  The server farms and cloud hosing would need to work harder to gain the same value as the "early" (first year or more) mining by GPU miners.  Imho this is one of the fairest launches to date, and from my view has long term fair mining value built in.

Guys, when are you going to realize that trolls should be ignored? New people don't care about open books, they don't  care about funky branded expensive logo and also they don't care about 3 morons spaming the thread.  They want websites, games, they want to use this coin and if they can use this coin then they will buy. Start doing the same as me. Fuck open premine book, fuck logos and fuck retards.

And fuck the value of the coin too I guess?

Show me a coin launched with a premine where half the replies on the first page aren't "scam".  People do care about premine, and the instant thought amongst the majority is that its just a get rich quick scheme by the developer.  Anything done to combat or even remove this thought will result in a positive for the coin.  To spin the question on its head, what negative outcome could there possibly be from doing open book?

Im going to take Hampuz at face value and assume he is taking the point seriously with mrlotto, hopefully it will mark a turning point for the coin as I still hold a few.  Not millions now, but at least some.

Hello, I'm here to talk about our Messiah, Jesus Christ. Are You interested?

Wtf, seriously. You can actually be nice?

Thank You for your honest opinion, I really appreciate it.

I had gates installed at the house to stop people coming to tell me about the story and how I can be saved...  Wink

Not a problem.  Im sure once others get to see the opening post on this and do the number crunching, they will be mining it too.  Wink

Have only ever posted my honest opinion.  Smiley

I can see the pottential here.  Smaller numbers, smaller premine, lots of up front work done and no daft pumping for the sake of pumping posts.  All done steadily and professionaly.  Am even donating to the cryptonium pool and hope some of those coins can be used for giveaways or something else if required.  Smiley

Oh, Im not a fan of the big brash forum signatures (detracts from the topics imho), so modified the size of mine.  Nothing personal, just my preference Smiley
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LOTTO COIN - The coin thats a game! Released 12/12/13 on: January 16, 2014, 10:16:01 AM
Thanks for taking the point seriously.  Hope that there can be some progress made.   As above it will certainly take a lot of effort, but it would increase the trust and image of the coin massively imho.  Perhaps best way is to start keeping records of the transactions going forward, and back fill from the beginning.

Any bounties or giveaways from the premine going forward, when they are claimed, just post a record of the date and address sent etc.  Then go back and fill the others in when time allows.   This way people can see straight away that work is being done to be open book, without having to wait until all the transactions from day 1 are listed before such an account is published.

Just a thought.  And thanks again for responding to the point seriously and with an honest view.  Much appreciated.

Excellent news  Cheesy

And this is what I call a fair and open book premine.  No scam, the number of coins premined does not vastly exceed what is possible to be mined by the community themselves in just a couple of days or so.   And its all accounted for.    Im on board.   And for anyone who has read any of my doubting and negative posts on other coins, you will know Im not one to be overly positive about a coin unless I can see some great pottential.  Im mining this and have been for a day or so now.

0.07% premine and its all open book.  Thats fair, and that's what will make people view this coin positively imho.
