Thanks for the education materials. However this created more questions than
answers.

1. why I should prefer one addres before another?

for me they are just a bunch of numbers and letters

2. what happens if a trusted witnes goes rouge?

3. What happens when he dies?
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: November 19, 2018, 03:36:24 PM
Too many people are hoping for 2019... I think it is a good idea to start buying some eth on every dip from now on.

It's very risky time when we buy dip and take another dip after this nobody knows where is the bottom. This month is full of surprise big whales are dumping their coins without any bad news and that is really strange what is happening right now.

Pure psychology. Strongest human instinct is self preservation.
Investing money on something which seems to die is wasting
prescious resources which can help you preserve your living state.

Waren Buffet is famous for his billions, which he gained by investing
in undervalued companies. But it took years for these to shine.
Byitself, investing fiat in crypto is essentially killing fiat and
injecting life force into crypto.

90% of the people here came abourd the crypto vessel in 2018.
They've never experienced such drop. This is something new for them.

If you came onboard in 2016, current mood would be: "Meeeh.."
But you'd be holding thousands of cheap ETH.

The only question is: How much money are you able to spend
without sacrificing your lifestyle?

When you answer yourself, just spend them on crypto and
forget it happening (just write down your keys!) Smiley

I just got message from the wallet:

NEW WITNESSES

The hub suggests replacing the following witnesses:

JEDxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

to

4GDxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

REPLACE               Maybe LATER

Can someone explain what this means?

Who are these witnesses? Whom should i trust and why?

Cheesy

An easy to mine but more profitable coin to offline stake with unlimited coin support (besides from mining - not staking) will hit the price 0 once a trustworthy larger exchange will pick it up.
There is no advantage of this coin besides holding it for 593% interest rate. Even if you imagine a coin will be worth $1, no one will use it because next year you will have $593 from this $1.

If somebody can explain me what other benefit does this coin have, that will give it a value?  Huh

I believe the 593% is for limited time only. Having such high
interest is madness if it continues forever.

However, when I asked the same question about the value, my post was deleted
(as this one will probably go).
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] JSEcoin on: November 18, 2018, 02:38:15 PM
I forgot my code for the JSE platform, and I have a bunch of coins just sitting there. One day, I'll remember it.  Undecided

Code? Can't you recover it by mail? Or write to the support?
THey have always answered my questions and helped
when i needed it.

The work Revolution in mining refers to new concept in masternode coins which is multi-level masternodes concept, it helsp to address several critical issues that are currently facing the old concept.

Just mentioning "multi-level" something makes me shiver.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] JSEcoin on: November 18, 2018, 02:26:35 PM
I just added JSE website mining to my crypto blog: https://cryptoit.blogspot.com
For some reason the JSE widget does not apepar on my PC, but thanks to
Discord users EramsorGR and Apexia{v2.0} who tested it and proved it works!

I have one concern though: how is Google's page rank going to percieve JSE?
As a threat or as something normal? Has anyone tested it somehow?

What are the hash rates for 1070, 1070Ti and Rx570 4gb ?

I have a GTX 1060 6GB at +150 core, +450mem, @0.650V (around 45W power draw).
Using latest Z-enemy 1.24 with intensity 22 it does about 7250kH/s
But since the algo is a fluctating one, sometimes it drops to 5000kH/s

I guess 1070 will go to 8000-8800kH/s and Ti - 9000kH/s.
Oh my God, it sounds so difficult to understand. It seems for me that I will never learn such details in mining or even training. I holp that everything will be okay

Have no worries! Smiley Mining is a dying sport. Soon the only miners left will be the ones with free electricity or hardware or both.
If you include the cost of electricity used per transaction, the price would probably reach current bank prices per transaction.
So focus on staking or trading.

how can I transfer my mined coins to a web wallet?
or how do I integrate an address with airdrop on which mining was conducted in a web wallet?

I also tried to do the same, but failed.
As far as I understood, this is not possible yet.
We have to wait untill "sweep" option is activated, so we can
sweep the coins from old wallets.
Devs, correct me if I'm wrong.

When wallet will be local and decentralized, allowing direct connection to the network?

I will have to correct you. Smiley
When you signed up for the airdrop a wallet was created. In that process, you would have been given a 25 word seed phrase. You would have not been able complete the process until you checked a box confirming it was saved and secured. Enter that seed phrase into the web wallet box that says "private log in key here" at https://wallet.uplexa.com/#!/
Your balance will appear with full send/receive functionality

I got the same errors when i tried to use my original keys.
So now i have two addresses. Please provide a way to send money from
the first one to the second one or to unify them somehow.

374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RLC] iEx.ec blockchain-based distributed cloud announces its Crowdsale on: November 17, 2018, 04:32:53 AM

iExec and IBM Cloud are extending the value of cloud by helping enterprises run even their most sensitive workloads on shared hardware at much lower risk.

Over the past decade, the cloud has completely transformed the way businesses think about computing resources and application deployment. Modern cloud platforms enable enterprises to scale up and down on demand, turning computing into a highly flexible, pay-as-you-use-it utility. However, perceived security risks make some organizations cautious about moving to the cloud.

Empowered by the unique IBM Cloud approach to cloud security, iExec is extending the value of cloud by helping enterprises run even their most sensitive workloads on shared hardware at much lower risk.

https://www.ibm.com/blogs/bluemix/2018/11/iexec-integrates-ibm-cloud-to-increase-the-security-of-decentralized-computing/

It's a quite informative article which hints where the future will happen.
Too bad iExec is only mentioned and not the main topic in it (not even a link).
But hey, being menioned by a 100+ year old company with 350 000 employees is still something Smiley

It seems to me that now the XDNA project is moving into a new stage of its development. And although there is still no special news from the team, but I feel it intuitively!

Feelings and crypto combined is like combining electricity with water.
So you're either on drugs, or someone who sold his house for coins,
which devalued, and now develops feelings for a coin.

Feelings do not work on crypto. If you have some info about XDNA, say it,

Please check our response regarding the BITKER listing concerns.
https://medium.com/@letheanVPN/response-to-bitker-listing-concerns-84e7f56aabc1

This listing on an exchange located in one of the largest VPN markets will boost brand awareness and amount of Lethean users.

We will continue putting efforts into more liquidity!

Twitter: https://twitter.com/LetheanVPN/status/1061922307638083584

If you look at adding to Chinese exchange as a country specific marketing, then I like the idea.
Let's hope there will be a globally accepted exchange soon!

Listing on a small, unknown exchange can have bad impact on a coin.
Small exchanges often drop coins out of support, they vanish, "delete" coins.
This can influence a lot on the the trustworthiness of the coin.
Are there any plans for a bigger exchange?

Bitker is 8 th largest exchange!

If Bitker really was the 8th largest exchange:

1. It would have more languages than Chinese/English (default is Chinese!).

2. I would have known it.

3. It would have atleast a few famous coins from the CMC top list.
XMR is not there, but a buch of noname Chinese coins are all there.

4. The "Strategic cooperation:" partners would be not only a bunch of small pictures,
but actual links to these partners, so you could check them.

5. It would be listed here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cryptocurrency_exchange#Largest_cryptocurrency_exchanges_(2018)

Thanks for your comment. I will try to reply to your comments:

1. They mostly operated in china and serving chinese customer so the community majority are chinese and thus the main language support is chinese as well.

2. There are actually quite a few chinese exchanges that are not known in Europe/USA etc. due to market supression in China and restrictions. I'm in the scene for nearly 6 years npw and call tell you that there are some exchanges i never heard of. However, Bitker was known due to a recommendations from IDAX Exchange Management.
https://www.coingecko.com/en/exchanges/bitker

3. as mentioned they mainly serve chinese retail investors and have just started with with oversea operation and marketing. I would not worry to much that Monero isn't on there. Monero isn't on some other very well known exchanges either.

4. Do you mean the partners of Bitker?  They are close to the IDAX exchange and management was pulled from other known exchanges. You barely find any connections and if they are in chinese or not disclosed to the public

5. Various other big exchanges aren't on this wikipedia list either. Not sure if that's such an important requirement ;-)

Let know if you have any other concerns:)

Cheers

I think you just contradicted yourself.. a lot.
Non-Chinese traders, sending their money to a suppressed and restricted country, in exchange which just opened for outside China, with no disclosed to the public conenctions and scammy looking "partners"? You are not addressing my concerns, you are supporting them.

Anyway, good luck with the new exchange. I know how expensive it can be to go to a big one and how easy is to be removed from it.

An exchange is an exchange after all.

hello any news about the wallet on the roadmap it mentioned 5th november!

Come on team, you promised a working wallet! This is very important for the development
of this coin. No decentralization exists before a normal wallet exists.

Another thing it is not fair to share my link for refering people for bounty,
but be limited to 12 referals. I have now refered more than 20 people, but received recognition
for only 12.

Please keep your promise and release the wallet.
There have never been any promises. The roadmap, as with most other projects, is a guideline. This project is unfunded with a skeleton voluntary team at the moment. As mentioned in many posts thus far, technical issues are discussed heavily in our Discord. This is where you will need to go to bring up your referral issue and keep up on any delays. As for the web wallet, there has been some technical difficulties with cryptonight's bulletproofs. This is new tech, development is moving fast and we are very close to a working UPX web wallet.
Links can be found at uplexa.com

By moving by a roadmap, unfunded, supported by the community only, it is cruical to
stick to this roadmap. All we are actually a free beta testers for this coin,
free advertisers and supporters. That is why i believe we deserve
your explanation above (thank you for that), even if it is with more than a month off the roadmap.

Discord is nice option, but boring to scroll through all the irrelevant coments is too time consuming.
A simple update from you here is way more efficient.

There is no problem with my refferals, it's the 12 referals limit.
