While I confirm the words on the IRC paste just posted, I do not appreciate the clear dump of what was a private chat exchange.
I'm a serious person anyhow, no more private miner sales, I would appreciate people stop sending me PMs.

I would have much preferred agreeing on a bounty to make the miner open source.
I think it was pretty clear that I took various efforts to that purpose. Unfortunately, it did not work out.

To those that are worried that GPU miners will suck out the value on this coin: The GPU miner on the 750 ti, has about 5x the performance of a desktop i7. While it earns decent profits, it is hardly world shattering. There's people running higher gains on CPU due to 0 electricity costs, mining early, botnets, etc.

I've got a busy day ahead, so will not be posting further here for a while. Cheers.

I don't understand why selling miner to a few people, instead giving it away to the community... is so much anti-decentralization and anti-opensource/community...
can be better to make it opensource and it can give strength to the coin

I know that most are after quick and big as possible profits. crypto currency is more than that... we suppose to takeover the world ! together.. Smiley

its not what he did its how he rubbed it in our face and 5 btc jesus christ  thats a lot for not even the good cards

i was mad at dev for not leveling the field before i saw how unreasonable the demand was  now i can see he is very smart and deserves credit for not being a sucker

As you said in the irc channel you are nothing more than an instigater and I see what you mean.

You also stated there it was unfair for the top people to have so much hash and you don't.

As I said if they are willing to pay for cpu servers then they deserve to get what they get. It is not their fault that they are getting more than you.

You also seen where that chat stated that the price was a lot lower on the first offer and they (dev) refused to believe one exited because they that they had something "foolproof". At least he was willing to try and recompensate the people who brought it.

As I said in chat. I was lucky and got in at the beginning. Sure there was a few forks but it leveled out and took time. Now you sound like those who bitched about a relaunch because they could not get their wallets to sync.

I'll just take you for your word that you are nothing but an instigator.

thanks for your input

yes i hate missing the boat
but i still came out and tried to do my best to spread the word about this awesome project when i had NO REAL INCENTIVE other than believing i could help a good smart decent programmer get his product the spotlight it needed.. maybe i like being part of things that are better than i can accomplish on my own.

i dont get this part

You also seen where that chat stated that the price was a lot lower on the first offer and they (dev) refused to believe one exited because they that they had something "foolproof". At least he was willing to try and recompensate the people who brought it.

and i only blamed my bad luck at missing the boat on my own self and thought it better to use some excess gained  by the lucky few  to redistro at a low price because having worked onb many coins i know what makes investors uncomfortable

as for "INSTIGATOR" yea i had fun trying to make u nervous when the price dipped all in good fun i thought we all had a good laugh but maybe it was just me but i imediately
tried to reassure u with my personal feelings that i thought this was really so good a coin most people would hold.. so what do i get no mined coins and a bag i spent every last satoshi on when i BOUGHT IN  with all i had the second it got listed on cex (which i helped make happen) now i barely know you but tried to make friends and build a community and i dont even know what u are tryng to say here besides trying to use some bs to make me look bad  im sorry your buddy got greedy and made a stink and ruined a good thing for U who have a large amt of coins not me who only has 1k

Naw.

I just hate seeing people bitch about things that is their own fault. You remind me of the people who bitched about Black Coin and called it unfair because they missed the 1 week POW. It's just people like the moaning you are doing contribute to the actual fudders, not sure if you are trying or playing, that makes projects go south and ruin it for the devs that are actually trying to accomplish something.

As about the second part whoever does their coding deserve to get what they can. I respect people like that. They should get everything they do for using their skills.

As for my I just mine. And as I said, I was an early adopted so at this point mining is no big deal as staking is better for me. Just like I like it. Well done.

Also, isn't the whole point of a cpu coin that it will be distributed as equally as possible to everyone?

How come there are people like axiomboy mining for so much compared to others? Do they have a farm of computers mining or what?

Usually, yes.

if i wasn't honest, i would use all cpus at work for this Smiley
so i mine with my own vps. already found 1 block for ocminer's pool
All this is a company with a midnight and ....... "Hamsters" am Main CPU, dev, and so dig on the GPU. Not for hamsters lined coin with new algo. Grin Grin Grin

Well, thank you for your sincerity. Now clear to me that no coin is fair in mining. This is another "Farmcoin" custom designed.

By that logic no coin period is fair.

Some one will always have more or better equipment than you, cpu's, gpu's asics etc..

If you like a coin and or the dev/project then mine and support it. If you are looking for some coin where you can get a lot with a little then look for something over a year old that no one is mining and hope you get a wallet that works.

Think I am finally on correct chain.

Rebooted once but was still forked, finding blocks per second. They disappeared from my total twice and now the ones I am finding are sticking and now finding blocks about every 15-20 minutes now. So hopefully on correct chain now. Showing block 393. I just put the nodes in my config file.

What should the config be, axiom.conf or axiomcoin.conf?

i made it with axiom.conf

That is what I used but I know I am forked. Showing 169 blocks and rising.

A lot of forks are happening.  Shocked Diff is rising and we are adding two more strong nodes now.

The nodes are in the DNS seeding and you can manually add:

addnode=104.236.231.72
addnode=45.55.172.95
addnode=174.127.110.41

We will add 2 more servers quickly!

If you have any problem compiling, make install:

https://github.com/bitcoin/secp256k1

i still fork with this nodes

I am also.

-Stop mining when disconnecting (fixed by pallas)
-tiny speedup quark

1.5.57(sp-MOD) is available here: (25-07-2015)

The sourcecode is available here:

Seems to have broken solo mining on phoenix coin or I need to do something differently now in my command line?.

Strangely enough that error seems to have stopped and now works. If no -i xx is used the system become unusable
-i 15.5 is the max that can be used, anything above gives a run of crazy numbers.

What is this monitoring software?

Yes the one on the right with the temps in blue background.
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BITCREDIT | SPV WALLET IN TESTING on: July 25, 2015, 10:53:09 PM

Is bitcreditscc still with us? It's been over a week since his last post.

Just checking! Smiley

By the way, I'm really curious to see when the 'new' wallet is ready and how it looks like. Have the bugs been crushed so far?

https://github.com/bitcreditscc?tab=activity

- He's a worker.  Smiley   There's a bunch of architectural stuff to get in place for the bid-based distribution system and blockchain assets (coloured coins.)

Not sure what new wallet you mean, but the last few QT builds I've done from the rc branch haven't needed me to delete the mncache before starting it up. I'm on linux, can't comment on Windows. The electrum client/server still needs a bit of work before it's ready for primetime.
Stupid me! I have the Github link right here, just forgot to check it.. But you're right, there sure is a lot of activity which is a good sign! Smiley As for the Electrum client, curious to see it in action.

Again, if there's any testing that needs to be done, or anything I can help with: Hit me up in PM! Glad to be of service!  Smiley

guys is there a hidden nvidia windows miner for this its been ages since i asked for it and no one reply
I don't really understand the question. Could you elaborate?

i want to mine with my nvidia cards is there a ccminer for bcr ?

I've said this in another post and believe me, I have nothing but Nvidia cards.

This is not the algo to use for your cards. Total wast as you will do better on other algos.

There is talk about getting an improved miner but at this moment not, publicly at least.

On Nan's miner I was doing 6,600 cpm on a 280x. On a 970 I was doing maybe 1,500 cpm.

There are better options for Nvidia right now, unfortunately.

Like I said though, there is talk. Or you might be able to get Nan to do one for Nvidia for a fee but when I asked he did not have Nvidia cards. Also the devs who did the miner back during PTS days are not interested in going further with the miners they created. That was about 2 months ago. You can try and contact them again if you like.

Can't connect since I was using the gui wallet.

The error I get in Chrome from mega says "temporary error. retrying.." but nothing happens.

Using IE won't even bring up the download link.

EDIT: Finally worked today.
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DSH] Dashcoin (Cryptonote) -=Mandatory Wallet Update=- on: July 23, 2015, 01:42:18 PM
Is there a "How to for dummies" on converting this over?  Sad

Just start using the new wallet. (except for windows because I kinda screw up on that one and its not up to date yet).

The good news is the old wallet is compatible with the new ones. You just see the old denomination.

Ok. So I wait for the new Windows wallet to get correct balance.

Hi. The win64 wallet in the OP is up to date.

Thanks.

Tried but mega not working with download.
