I also thought as much the constant bringing up of this topic is making such a significant topic lose it value if you had anything to touch on as to this topic regards you can just post it on the already posted ones and still get views making a new post might be seen negatively. But still I must say it is quite a well written post
362  Other / Meta / Re: How can I my profile IUD? on: April 20, 2019, 07:00:58 PM

363  Other / Politics & Society / Keep religious beliefs personal to promote peaceful coexistence on: April 20, 2019, 08:09:04 AM

One major factor that constitutes violence is clash of religious beliefs. So many has lost husband, wives, sisters, brothers, children, friends and loved ones due to attacks bored by religious beliefs.

How can we stop clashes of religious beliefs
Be you a Christian, Muslim etc or even of no believe one major way to coexist together is upholding mutual respect
Most time we fined our self being a fan of a particular believe than actually being religious or practising that believe that why the burning hate for others who don't share the same believe is strong.

I am a Christian by believe but free-spirited by ideology I reside in a place predominantly occupied by Muslims but I have survived here by not enforcing my religious thoughts on others and share understanding.
Most time we don't choose our religion if I where to be born into a Muslim family I might probably be a Muslim so I don't have any right to take the life of someone born into a Muslim family.

We could go about our duties, jobs play games together live in this world happily and still keep our believes at heart without it inflicting harm to others

   Stop stigmatising gay's

I am straight in terms of my sexuality but have nothing against gay, or bisexuals.
Gay marriage or relationship is illegal from where I come from and attached to it are some severe jail terms. But we fail to understand this act is actually not a criminal act and the Two parties involved are doing at there own consent so it wrong to play God in the lives of humans and condemn them because you are in the position of power.
That's why the western world are more developed than where I come from. Ones you put a stigma on someone because of there choices you cripple other aspect of there lives you make them withdrawn and unhappy these can be people with some beneficial talent that can improve the nation.
In conclusion live and let others live
364  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: help me on: April 20, 2019, 05:37:21 AM
So add to the reasonable reply you have already gotten I think it's weird that your tried joining a bounty even without have at least two post here on the forum.
I don't think the forum would need any spam bounty account anymore thanks to the rank system you ought to put in work mate to get paid
365  Other / Meta / Re: Possible ? on: April 20, 2019, 05:14:05 AM
Well the only account that can be recovered of stolen or lost account https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5089777.0
As for banned account I think there is little or nothing that can be done to recover it
366  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to buy Bitcoin with cheapest fee? on: April 20, 2019, 01:20:53 AM
I will be more concerned with security and genuineness when purchasing my bitcoin rather than cheapness
There are various ways to get your bitcoin with different prices
*exchanges some exchanges fee are lower than some so you can research on it
*off exchange that is purchasing it form some one but you would need an escrow here
367  Other / Off-topic / Re: Research project on ethical issues related to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies on: April 19, 2019, 08:02:00 PM
Cryptocurrency is now a point of research in the educational system in your country this is great to know

368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A new crypto directory - your advice needed on: April 19, 2019, 07:38:15 PM

369  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to get involved? on: April 19, 2019, 07:06:17 PM
Deducing some advice for you from the post you just made
Try and consider these
*try enroll into a computer literacy train you not being at least OK with technology is bad. Try and gain some fundamental knowledge
*not necessary that you must be a miner. Mining requires knowledge and equipment I think you can keep that aside for now.
*read and search the web. There are articles, book and instructional videos concerning blockchain and cryptocurrency at large try to get engaged with them
370  Other / Meta / Re: MERIT SOURCE application on: April 19, 2019, 06:35:23 PM
Very straight forward merit source application and no unnecessary long post.
Going through the link they where quite deserving you would sure make for a good merit source just hope there is an available space for you
371  Other / Beginners & Help / Enough of bad posting on: April 19, 2019, 04:39:52 PM
           Think before posting
One good way to be content in this forum is contributing constructively with your post. It's important to note that there are huge members on the forum and what ever you post here would be viewed by many everytime you create something redundant and appalling you lose

Why do I need to be diligent with my post
Well this question might run through your mind especially newbies or members who had not been constructive but gained rank elevation due to the merit era.
You need to be diligent with your post because
*to maintain a standard post history.. It might interest you to know that sometimes when you make a post some members do a check on your post let's take for example you made a good post that drew attention some member before taking any action go through you post and if it is not at least average might takes that your good post as a fluke. A good post history is always to you advantage
*good reputation... A good name they say is better than gold.  I would take myself for example when ever I make a post there are some names that i get a sense of achievement if they give there own opinion on the post why you may ask? because they have achieved that level of reputation
*bounty selection... Well Ironic this is one of the main reason why some people spam  to meet up with bounty task is the same reason one needs to be constructive... Well if you are interested in bounty that not a bad idea but if you really want a good paying bounty you have to be Good at your posting because good bounties when advertised get a good number of applications so in other to be selected you should have a good level of posting and also the higher the rank the higer the pay and as you may know to get merit you ought to post well.

How do I make a good post/or what is considered as a
      good post?

This question is like asking what is philosophy? There is no generally accepted answer to this everyone has his/her own perspective to this
You as an individual have got the idea of what you want to post so that your part but how to deliver it should be where you must be detailed
*a good post is not always dependent on its length but quality of its content
*sourcing article is OK but do not copy and paste absorb the content you are sourcing and reproduce it in your own understanding
*make it at least appealing to the eye.  There are some post that are so jam packed(without spacing) that even if the content is good you just don't feel interested to go through, avoid text coloring except it's to lay emphasis(it appears amateur) be OK with your English or better still download a writing correcting app e.g grammarly.
*make use of those message icon available to you when necessary but be sure not to abuse it
*dont abuse the quote button.... There are some post that is quote on quote on quote until a massive Egyptian quote pyramid is attain. This is not so soft on the eye and the worst part is after the quoting your reply is unnecessary.
*skip redundant one-line post....
It's good to be humble and all that but there is no need to create a post like "thank you sir" "good advice I would take to it" and so on it would inflict a bad blow on your post history
*cross check your post before posting.... After writing a post go through it again and if possible again and be sure that it would be helpful to someone out there rather than constituting a nuisance
372  Other / Meta / Re: [TIPS] to avoid plagiarism on: April 19, 2019, 03:52:47 PM
The most likely mistake people make and get themselves guilty of plagiarism is differentiating between sourcing and plagiarism(copy and paste)
It's not wrong to do research on other content to get a direction on a particular subject (sourcing)
But the problem comes when you where not able to apply the knowledge and create a whole new content of your own then you would surly be guilty of plagiarism
373  Other / Meta / Re: Spam Joker Detected on: April 18, 2019, 07:39:20 PM
Like the first comment you got stated correctly that you should report to the moderators and the issue would be addressed.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0
Here is the rules and regulation going through this you would know what should be reported
374  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Food for thought on: April 18, 2019, 08:11:51 AM
It is weird that as a newbie you coming here to start with guidelines. as a newbie here you the one that needs to seek guideline and bitcointalk is not like any other forum you might have been in so keep that experience in you vault. You are alone going to raise eyebrows about your second coming.

Well I still see you as a newbie so do well to check this out it would really be helpful

375  Other / Off-topic / Little merit to give out on: April 17, 2019, 07:01:34 PM
Hello guys like they say practice what you preach I had made this post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5127840.msg50446807#msg50446807 I have always been active trying to play my part to the best of my ability
Am a strongly against hording of merit because it alters the balance of the forum although I also support it going to well deserved post.
Like the saying goes little drops of water makes a mighty ocean well I have managed to surpass my goals and gotten to a good feet in my opinion(i know this is just the beginning) am making this contest mainly for members with zero merit(due to the little amount of smerit in my purse) and the contest would last as the smerit last.
   Criteria
Send links to post you made educating people on
Diverse topic or issue
Your post has to be original
One merit per account
You post history has to be at least average

And also good will users can be generous enough to partake in helping out deserving friends rank up.

Pls do not spam, unnecessarily bump, or reply more than once on this thread.

Good luck
376  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The answer is about rewarding merit. (Giving away 15 merits to newbies) on: April 17, 2019, 06:38:44 PM

Thank you, very good and understandable answer. You have a beautiful flag. My respect for you!
In addition to the advice avoid making redundant reply to comment reply like thank you sir, beautiful flag,  my respect and others because all this would count as a post in your post count and would make you post history look awkward.
Also avoid quote abuse that is miss using the quote button you can make you quote of someone's post neat by clearing out the content or if there is a particular content you are referring to you can leave it but the purpose is making you reply and use of quote appealing to the eye.

Good luck
377  Other / Meta / Re: Enough with the negativity give the forum some credit it deserves on: April 15, 2019, 07:10:20 PM

No one has anything against any one complaining about some things if you can refer back to my post again.
I made note that complains or suggestions can be welcomed but let it be in an organised manner.
Someone coming out to lay accusations straight up against the system or another member some times even using vulgar languages I don't think that is proper.
And even if there should be complaint like the title of my post implies there should also be appreciation(credit)
378  Other / Meta / Re: Enough with the negativity give the forum some credit it deserves on: April 14, 2019, 06:12:22 PM
give the forum its credit and  contribute on it without expecting a thing from anybody

No matter what your intentions is for being here,  either merit, earning, learning or educating is imperative to put the welfare of the forum at heart.
No one would come at you if you do things the right way
And also note the forum is not yet at its perfection and there are room for improvement and if Any member has something against a particular format on the forum the only right thing to do is bring up your suggestions in a more matured way. Giving room for healthy discussion
379  Other / Meta / Enough with the negativity give the forum some credit it deserves on: April 13, 2019, 09:18:44 PM
It quite saddens me that the trend now is about how negative (based on their opinion) the forum is, without considering the positive side to this system they complain about. Bitcointalk started from the stretch and have survived 10years without a single investor sponsoring the arm of the forum. Not much appreciating is given to the moderators, admin and other staff that have kept the forum functioning till date instead you see complain of the flaws without appreciating the positive effect of those system introduced into the forum to better your experience making the forum more conducive for everyone.
if you could check how the forum was at its beginning state you would notice there was a good and friendly ecosystem(less troll, positive members bringing in ideas, mutual respect, etc) but it's quite the opposite of late.

Any time someone comes short of a rule and gets chastised he/she is quick to unleash a negative attitude on the forum and make some redundant post or comment either with the affected account or alt account.

Some has complained about the features put in place by the forum(Merit source, DT just to mention but a few)
Before complaining and asking for these systems to be stopped have you considered the position effect they have had on the forum and her member.

**merit sources.
I had made a post about how some members hoard there merit thereby affecting the circulation of merit negatively
 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5127840.msg50446807#msg50446807
Although there have been some goodwill members of the forum who has been playing there a role for the betterment of the forum in terms of merit circulation https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;stats=topsendat

Merit sources have been of great importance to the forum it was a successor to the airdrops merit era which it was in place till date would have been abused by individuals trying to merit their alt account. The fact that an individual can get a merit should not give them the right to lash out at the merit sources rather turn that disappointment into a fuel that could drive there resolve into achieving that goal.

****DT.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5095716.0
This was a good addition by the forum in my own opinion.
We all know that this is a large forum with a multitude of users some has inordinate reasons for being here and some have a positive reason for being here.
And the trust system can aid members to spot a negative member by view their trust rate and if there is a blemish would be very cautious and also there is a positive trust member that has been tested and trusted.
As the saying goes you can not please everyone at the same time. Some users still have there distaste against the DT system in my own opinion is quite unnecessary. The DTs are no fools and carry out their roles in accordance with the rules.

To conclude the constant negativity would not be beneficial to anyone. Bitcointalk forum is bigger than any member and making unhelpful speculation about it should not be done

380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Altcoin is still productive on: April 12, 2019, 09:55:19 PM
A lot of speculation has been made regarding that altcoins are dead we have seen fewer initial coin offering this year and part of those few has been a failed venture.
But never the less that is certainly not the end of altcoins

Running a lost as an altcoin investor can be easy because there are various altcoin out there And so many are poorly managed.

You can cut your losses to some extent by.
*investing in several top altcoin(spread your investment)
*seeking expert opinion
*disregard shilling or FUD
And if you must move a way from established altcoins
*study the volume
*check on the project owners reputation
*compare and contrast the white paper, potential investors and future possibilities of the coin.

And one major key for every cryptocurrency investor is patience and hold I repeat you your altcoin
