361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ISIS is not satisfied with bitcoin, they made their own currency on: November 29, 2015, 02:07:13 AM
It's hard enough getting merchants to accept bitcoins.  Now we have to ask if they accept ISIS coins?
362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What did you buy on bitcoin black Friday? on: November 28, 2015, 07:21:25 PM
I bought a shirt, a cutting board, jewelry , and a gyft card.  Hopefully the merchant list keeps growing.

Any feedback from merchants on how their sales were for this event?

Needs to be better organized.  It reshuffles the merchants if u reload the page.
367  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is the best Cloud Mining deal of #BitcoinBlackFriday ? on: November 27, 2015, 03:43:20 PM
I went through the checkout process on the 2nd one and nothing ever came up for 20% extra hash.
368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Black Friday - Episode 4: A New Hope on: November 27, 2015, 03:41:19 PM
Nothing mind blowing.  mostly 10-20% off.  One stores coupon code didn't work.  I like the original site better then the new .info one.

As a consumer I like that there are 2 sites.  More chance I won't miss out on any deals.  We will see which site is better tomorrow.  I wish there was early access.

Will the merchant list be up at midnight EST?
371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Black Friday - Episode 4: A New Hope on: November 26, 2015, 09:58:42 AM
Hopefully the bitcoin black Friday sites have the merchant list and deals very well organized.  I don't want to just see a list of 2,000 merchants.  I will only have about 2 hours to spend shopping online.

I would recommend people buy their coins for spending on Friday now.  Price is likely to be 1-2% higher on Friday.
374  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 26, 2015, 02:07:40 AM
I just bought a couple coins to spend on black Friday.  Maybe other people are doing the same.
375  Economy / Speculation / Re: Big Dumps on Black Friday? on: November 26, 2015, 12:11:05 AM
Who cares what the price will do.  I want to see how aggressive these merchants get with discounts.  Will show how serious they are.  If all we see is free shipping or 10% off I will be very disappointed.

What I don't like is circle totally turned their back on bitcoin.  The word bitcoin is no longer found on their site.

I do agree that they are feeling pressure from investors to start making money.  Most bitcoin company's will go under like the dot com boom.
378  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-11-22]BI:Circle, Bitreserve and BitPay are turning their backs on bitcoin on: November 22, 2015, 08:25:45 PM
Funny how they all want to use blockchain technology.  But I have yet to see any form of this implemented that doesn't include bitcoin.  A private blockchain defeats the whole purpose and its not a blockchain anymore.
379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still use fiat to buy things on Amazon.com? on: November 22, 2015, 04:07:39 AM
Seems complicated.  I just buy gyft cards for amazon and save 3%.
380  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: November 22, 2015, 04:04:57 AM
I prefer company's don't have my credit card info.  Just a matter of time before another company's database gets hacked.  Bitcoin is way more secure.
