Found the issue -- it's a floating point bug in GetBlockValue()
These are my favorite posts in support case type communiques. The one where the solution has been found.

And to follow up on a post above, how are things progressing towards the 2.0 launch overall? Quick shareholder, top-level summary por favor?

We are on track for having the wallet with invoicing and CRISP integrated for mid March. The actual launch date is TBA.

I had a great meeting with the Geneca's team this afternoon. Though the main discussion was about an objective review of our ecosystems and their effectiveness in achieving our overall missions in pursuit of our vision to gain mass adoption of DNotes, we also discussed about DNotes 2.0 launch. We are confident that our phase one and phase two delivery of the wallet with invoicing and CRISP integrated will be in Beta testing stage by March 18, 2018. The launch date will be announced as soon as both teams mutually agreed that the product has been rigorously tested. There is a high level of confidence that the launch date will take place in early April, 2018.

I have a lot of respect for Geneca. We are very fortunate to have an immensely capable team that aligns so well with our business philosophies and commitment to always strive to be best in class. At times, it takes a little longer and cost more. At the end, we always do what is best for DNotes.

Three of Geneca's project managers from their "Experience Team" were assigned to go over everything that we have done for DNotes over the last four years. On the second day, one of them commented that it would take "four years" to read all the contents we have created. They are extremely impressed but also make some great recommendations.

One of the recommendations Geneca proposed was changing the main headline and sub headline:
BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN THE CENTRALIZED AND DECENTRALIZED.
Enabling peer to peer transfer of digital assets around the globe.

To something that is easier to understand regardless of the experience and knowledge of the user. If anyone has any recommendations, it would be appreciated.

Here is my contribution. Feel free to comment and make changes:

DNotes
The Trusted Digital Currency For All Of Us To Be Our Own Bank In The Digital Age.

This is a gamechanger:

following the completion of the acquisition Poloniex will quickly file to become a FINRA approved Broker Dealer. Immediately following this, Poloniex will then register as a licensed Automated Trading System or ATS.”

It will put an end to “pump and dump” and the beginning of a cleaning-out era.

Additional Info on Circle’s Acquisition of Poloniex Indicates Crypto Exchange will Soon Register as Broker Dealer & ATS
February 26, 2018 @ 8:25 pm By JD Alois

Circle’s acquisition of cryptocurrency exchange Poloniex was big news today. The combination of the two platforms may create a powerful payments / money transfer / digital currency exchange with a global presence. Simultaneously, questions crocked up about Poloniex’s exchange site that is operating without being regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Earlier today, additional information has cropped up explaining Circle’s intent going forward.

According to the information, following the completion of the acquisition Poloniex will quickly file to become a FINRA approved Broker Dealer. Immediately following this, Poloniex will then register as a licensed Automated Trading System or ATS. Apparently Circle has held discussions with regulators who are aware of the plan and they have a tacit approval to move forward. This makes sense as most exchanges are operating without regulatory approval creating a problem for the Feds and Poloniex needs to come out from the cold. There are multiple other aspiring cryptocurrency exchanges that are planning a similar path but Circle expects Poloniex to be the first.

Circle expects Poloniex to list and trade all sorts of security tokens going forward as the market continues to expand.

The SEC has made many pronouncements about enforcement actions regarding issuers and other facilitators such as attorneys and, of course, exchanges that provide liquidity. As it looks now, any cryptocurrency exchange that operates in the US should be planning a trip to emulate Poloniex’s plans.

Circle has acquired Poloniex and their first priority is to repair the damaged customer service reputation (my words, not theirs).

Circle Acquires Poloniex  -  https://blog.circle.com/2018/02/26/circle-acquires-poloniex/

Thank you, Chase. I have heard rumors about it earlier.  Great news that it came true. There may now be a possibility for DNotes to be listed on Circle Poloniex one day. It's now on my priority list.

I am have another very busy week, including a meeting with Geneca team tomorrow.

Sir,

I am a complete newbie at this game. DNotes is my first coin and right now my only coin. So I asked the question trying to better understand what the advantages were if someone did come along and ask DNotes to use your platform for their coin/token and if it would simply add more value to the DNotes currency pushing up the ladder to success. I actually asked a question that is way above my head. lol, your team and this forum has taught me a lot so keep it coming. I love it. Thanks!

You sure picked a great coin! If you can be patient with it I'm sure you will be rewarded in the long run. Some of us here have been holding and accumulating DNotes for several years.

Thank you, The Chezzz. I appreciate that, “DNotes is my first coin and right now my only coin.”

In answer to your great question, “what the advantages were if someone did come along and ask DNotes to use your platform for their coin/token” ……….

I can give you a limited answer, since we do not want to get too far ahead of ourselves. That is an easy thing to do since we have a fast-growing ecosystem. We do not have a plan to support the launch of another coin/token using the DNotes 2.0 platform any time soon. When we do, it will be done in support of our NextGen VC partnership, possibly as early as 2019.

You will learn more about NextGen VC in our White Paper when released in early April 2018. A final draft will be available for limited release earlier. Below is an unedited quote:

Next Generation VC is powered by the DNotes platform to provide our elite clients and partners with venture capital and crowdfunding assistance that is fully compliant with local regulations backed by the full service offering of DNotes’ consulting group. This may include crowdfunding under the JOBS Act in the USA, and issuance of digital asset tokens through ICO. The DNotes consulting team will carefully vet the listed token sales, and work with clients and partners to deliver value to their investors as a useful indicator of quality.

In the NextGen VC participation, prospective partners pitch their business or idea to the DNotes consulting group and management team, who will identify the businesses that have the best synergies integrating with DNotes’ blockchain software and growth potential.

Businesses that are involved in the NextGen VC program will have unlimited access to these resources, from strategic analysis and managerial, procurement of legal, and accounting aid, through to blockchain application development and integration; and navigating the approval process for SEC compliant Initial Coin Offerings on the DNotes platform
.”

DNotes team has always been committed to ensuring that we uphold the best in class mentality in every area that matters. To that end, our clients will benefit from the DNotes trusted brand and our growing ecosystem. NextGen VC itself has massive growth potential. Our focus is on quality; not quantity. The offering will be limited to a selected few.

The Herd Instinct:

Thank you, Chase.  Fascinating article, “Sociologists have a fancy name for this herd instinct: mimetic isomorphism. They have documented its prevalence in industries as varied as trucking and banking. That research has also demonstrated the rationality of copying others. Although copying rarely produces a breakthrough outcome, it does keep an organization from being left behind. Only a brave buffalo goes against the stampede. And unless that buffalo is extremely agile, it may well be crushed by the herd.”

Lol! I think DNotes is brave, agile, smart, and strategic. Frankly, we have experienced the discomfort of a few bruises and a long way from getting rich. But then as one of the DNotes team members said recently, “I rather be poor with DNotes than get mixed up with the wrong herd.”
Since DNotes has been pacing down such a different path, with great separation from where the “herd” is going, I believe that it is safe to say that we won’t be crushed by the herd.

Oh My!!!!!  That was well written. I am so excited of what the future has in store with DNotes. Thank you for sharing this with us. Can't wait for 18 March 2018. That will be the date I remember for the rest of my life. The Launch of DNotes 2.0

Thank you, The Chezzz. The white paper with the opening letter and graphics should help most people to understand how DNotes is approaching mass adoption of digital currency in global commerce. Most importantly, many more people will begin to understand why we are doing what we have been doing. I trust that many more people will be able to connect the dots. Thanks for your support and confidence.

It seems like Yahoo Finance has always been very prompt in picking up our press releases, while others often take days.

DNotes Global CEO Alan Yong Shares Thoughts on DNotes' Fourth Anniversary

February 18, 2018

CHICAGO , IL / ACCESSWIRE / FEBRUARY 18, 2018 / The DNotes digital currency is four years old today, and one of its co-creators, DNotes Global Inc. co-founder, and CEO Alan Yong, marked the occasion with an article that details the project's previous accomplishments and future plans.

In that piece, Mr. Yong talked about the importance of observing important milestones like anniversaries and how those observances provide an opportunity to put things into context. In remarks earlier today, he explained why he wanted to celebrate the digital currency's birthday in this unique way.

"Four years may not seem like a long time, but a lot can happen in just a few short years. That's especially true in the cryptocurrency space, where innovation occurs at breakneck speed. For DNotes, the last four years have been a time of steady progress, as we have methodically rolled out the various components of the DNotes ecosystem."

"Stakeholders who have been with us since the first launch in 2014 are aware of that progress," he continued. "However, many of the more recent DNotes holders are less familiar with the currency's history. I wanted to take this opportunity to summarize our progress, commemorate what we have accomplished to date, and briefly touch on the exciting changes that are coming in 2018."

Yong's anniversary article describes DNotes' mission, and how it has progressed since 2014. He even delves into why the digital currency project is so important to ensuring greater financial inclusion for the world's population. As he describes it, the DNotes team wanted to create a digital currency that was different than everything that had come before it:

"Our goal was to make DNotes a digital currency with purpose: to become an accepted cryptocurrency that can supplement the world's fiat currencies and provide financial inclusions and empowerment for people everywhere."

His detailed account of DNotes' progress over the last several years provides some clues about how his company plans to accomplish that purpose. Much of his article is devoted to detailing a timeline of accomplishments, as he explores the digital currency's history and the steps the company has taken to create a working infrastructure to support DNotes' objectives.

Considerable space is also devoted to the company's future endeavors, of course – and that seems fitting for a company that keeps its gaze firmly fixed on the future. According to Yong, the next version of DNotes is arriving soon. Aptly named DNotes 2.0, the new cryptocurrency will replace the existing version, and contain new features and benefits. DNotes 2.0 will reportedly be based on Proof of Stake, and stakeholders will be provided with new and improved blockchain staking rewards.

Yong also talked about the company's other major plans for the next few months and years, including the imminent launch of a mini-IPO to raise funding that will be used to advance the company's goals. Other plans include a new digital currency exchange, banking services, payment systems, charitable enterprises, and more.

As Yong notes, the company and the DNotes community have much to celebrate:

"On this, our four-year anniversary, we can all take pride in everything that our community has achieved in such a short period of time – even as we look forward to the unfinished work that lies ahead."

About DNotes and Alan Yong:

DNotes co-founder Alan Yong is a well-regarded visionary who established Dauphin Technology in 1988. He is the author of the book "Improve Your Odds: The Four Pillars of Business Success and is well-regarded as a "thought leader" in the cryptocurrency industry.
DNotes is a digital currency noted for its consistent and reliable growth and innovative initiatives that actively engage women, young people, small businesses, workers, and others – effectively inviting the world to participate in the digital currency revolution. DNotes Global Inc. has plans to launch DNotes 2.0 in early 2018, with improved features and functionality.

Really solid work to all of those involved with DNotesEDU. Chase and Brandon have done an immense amount of work writing up explanations of optimal investment strategies, definitions, and advice regarding cryptocurrency. We are very proud to support DNotesEDU, and it really goes to show how much community led projects can achieve!

DNotesEDU is a major accomplishment and very consistent with our overall philosophy of quietly taking our time, doing the very best we can for the benefits of everyone. It is a relentless commitment of wanting to be the best in class, doing things that we are most passionate about. This is a refreshingly different philosophy than the “here and now get rich scheme – just for me” mentality so prevalent in our industry.

DNotes is about building a trusted brand dedicated to inclusiveness on a global scale and scope. What we have been doing over the last four years are strategically far reaching with one common goal – mass acceptance of DNotes in global commerce. This takes a Big Bold Vision of global scale and scope, built from the ground up – involving many strategic building blocks. Each block, by itself, does not mean much. But together they can be rapidly scaled and take DNotes to the next level that cannot be easily replicated.

Beyond our inner circle, it is it seems that few can connect the dots. Of course, I can’t say for sure but certainly can take some clues from the price of DNotes and its trading volume. Perhaps a little undervalued. Fair value would surface if more people understand what we have in store. It helps if they can connect the dots.

Mindful of that, Tim has been given an assignment to develop a white paper/business plan – more accurately a hybrid that is neither a white paper nor a business plan. We always seek to be different and adaptable to our uniqueness. More importantly, I don’t hold very high regards for the projection components and certain representations in many business plans. They are often meaningless – more to impress bankers and VCs.

A lot more resources have now been assigned to work on this project. Once completed, we believe that it will help everyone to understand clearly DNotes Global’s vital roles in guiding and assisting DNotes to gain mass acceptance in global commerce one day. This is another big project I am anxiously waiting for its completion – hopefully in the next month or two. That will be the go to place for everything one needs to know about DNotes and DNotes Global.

https://www.ccn.com/crypto-genius-james-altucher-seeks-280-million-valuation-for-blockchain-startup-bitzumi/

What do folks think of this?

On the one hand, Altucher is wildly annoying. Those pervasive crypto genius ads are selling his $2000 crypto class ripoff. And he's stealing our thunder.

On the other hand, he is an ok author whose is good at marketing/branding. So he's also amplifying the thunder that comes from more people being introduced to the Tier 2 mini-ipo fundraising paradigm.

Thanks, MinningHabit. I am aware of that and have the 91 pages Bitzumi Ofering Circular in front of me. They are seeking to raise $10 million by selling 4 million out of 115 million shares outstanding, giving the startup a valuation of over $287 million.

This is only the beginning. We will be see more. That is a good thing and will actually make it easier for us when we are ready.

Be sure to drop in with your best wishes this Sunday. It's DNotes 4th anniversary. Looking back, it's amazing what we have accomplished.

Has it already been four years?Huh? I can hardly believe it!

I *love* how some of the promising new coins I picked up are now *old* coins with a solid track record. I really love the way your team is so strategic and takes a long view not only of coin prices but of the emerging block chain technology.

As for the US Government's current hesitation on regulating cryptocurrencies, I see that as a very positive sign. No one wants to jump the gun and do something stupid, so they're taking the time to gain necessary knowledge of the industry and also see how it develops organically. There are a lot of great developments still in their infancy that could be easily squashed by the wrong sort of regulation, and it seems our lawmakers have some awareness of this.

It is hard to believe it has already been four years. We have accomplished a lot and we are working diligently on many exciting projects.

I ran across this video again, it's worth another watch even if you have already seen it:
DNotes - Backed By Business
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8jKBJx0ikM

Regarding the hesitation on regulation, although uncertainty can slow down progress, it is great that they are taking their time to really make sure they understand what is happening in the industry before taking action. It is definitely a good sign.

I can hardly believe it either.

Let me share an incident that happened yesterday. As a part of our preparation for our funding, I opened a checking account for DNotes Global, Inc. with a major international bank yesterday. Since I made an appointment with some introduction, two bankers were waiting for me when I arrived. Both specialize in taking care of small to mid-sized businesses and very knowledgeable about the opportunities and challenges entrepreneurs face every day.

As usual, I give them an introduction of DNotes and DNotes Global. I showed them a stack of printed materials covering each of our ecosystems and a copy of my book. They were very impressed but ….. “What business are you in? and, how long have you been doing this? I answered, “Fintech. 4 Years.” They responded “Wow.”

I agree, it is hard to believe how much our team has accomplished in four years. But what is even more amazing is how little our industry know about what we have been doing and why we are doing them.

Winning strategies and great execution are typically under appreciated until proven by the outcomes. Smart investors look for great strategies and great execution, made possible by a great team. They get ahead of the curve. Unfortunately, the majority are dismissive, and later wonder how they missed the opportunity when it was so obvious.

That is the inherent crowd mentality. When Bitcoin was trading at close to $20,000, everyone wanted to get involved for the fear of missing the boat. When it tanked, many sold at a loss. For the record, 400,000 DNotes are now available at Crypotia for as little as 338 Satoshi (3.5 cents). There are very few buyers.  Ironically, should it be trading at $3.50 many will want to own some.
Now back to the bankers – why are we raising as much as $50 million and why the book?

“Well what do you think are holding back some of your business clients’ companies today that could otherwise be enjoying rapid growth? Money and management. Got it.” I responded.

It was not that hard for them to understand why 50% of the money raised will be allocated to fund NextGen VC and why the book and the 70 training videos make sense. That also is our winning strategy to introduce DNotes and the blockchain technology to the corporate world. That is one of our pathways to mass acceptance of DNotes. There are so many moving parts we need a white paper to explain all that.

We are just getting started. Get to know us and help up get the words out. Thank you.

I can now appreciate why so few care to take this route and just limit the participation to accredited investors only.

This infuriates me so much.

Why do the powers that be make it SO hard, via onerous red tape, for the hoi polloi to participate?

We are all appreciative of how DNotes Global is going down the much longer and more winding road via the mini-IPO so that the non-rich can easily participate.

I suppose I shouldn't be TOO annoyed with the red tape around participating in equities markets in the US, though. After all, it's exactly those inefficiencies and rigged games that provide such fertile ground for Crypto and Blockchain to disrupt.

MiningHabit, I share the same frustration. It is so much easier for the rich to get richer. Unfortunately, 90% (may be more) of the population don't have the same opportunities. Worse yet, they are often deprived of available opportunities to get ahead.

I am very proud of the DNotes team and our supporters. We are totally committed to be inclusive of everyone who wishes to participate in opportunities that will benefit as many as possible. That is what DNotes is about. We will get our turn to shine. Just need a little patience.
