The first half is over but the score is in United's favour, lol, time to bet on City! Live quotes are super attractive:

1.92 - 3.58 - 3.82

In terms of expected goals, City are already up by 2, and United by 0  Grin The fact that the score is now in favor of United is nothing more than a random fluctuation and I am sure that United will not be able to maintain their luck for the entire second half.
It was an anticipated combo on the starting line, E. Haaland and KDB, unfortunately for the Manchester city fans and those that might have picked them for a first half result, it haven’t been anything to write home about for the Citizens. Haaland seems to be well positioned and is been looked for but, his not getting the best touches to get the ball on target and even in the goal. Despite the fact that they are down by a goal, the Foden pass just within the box is something that E. Haaland should have easily converted. All it needed was a touch and the ball would have been in the goal but no, he jabbed it over the cross bar. That’s really terrible coming from such a high profile player.
Manchester City have still got a chance I must say, they would come in the second half to do the most we hope but, I would like to see Manchester United deprive them of 3points in this fixture.
362  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You lose more when you over trade on: March 02, 2024, 08:27:19 PM
Me I dont trade if the market doesn't come to me, if I don't sees the right setup I don't trade at all, even if it takes a month without trading, it's better for me to wait and be profitable than to lose my capital, stay discipline and be profitable.
Some traders especially those who are new into trading would like to believe that, having more frequent and regular trades increases your chance of profit. Well the truth is, it might be the case for a very experienced few but for majority, the case would be very different towards the negative. Being in the market too often is an adrenaline drive that brings you more closer to letting emotions come into your game.
It messes up your trading plan as you’re likely going to find yourself not making proper analysis and often jumping into conclusion without a thorough view of what is in front of you.
You wouldn’t escape what that patience would have let slide by you, you just end up taking wrong trades and having your SL kicked every time.
363  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Or Investing which one is better to focus on right now? on: March 02, 2024, 08:17:25 PM
So now, what do y'all do? As for me, I just invested in some coins I believe that will surge in few months while I observe what the market is doing.
Let’s hope you didn’t gamble your investment by living it just at the believe level and you actually did some of in depth research on what’s the likely possibilities based on certain observed/noticeable criteria. It wouldn’t border uou much when it comes to the top coins like the once that numbers behind Bitcoin on the charts but still, it doesn’t mean they’ll all be around.

Your probably best option now would be to invest by buying Bitcoin and hodl. I wouldn’t relate this to altcoins as, Bitcoin is where it all stems from and the all reliable. You don’t need to go into the market now without some good level of experience. A market that projects the break of an outstanding ATH before the halving, that’s something to be cautious about.
364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I was able to donate Books to school pupils with my little Campaign Bitcoin on: March 02, 2024, 08:06:19 PM
This is obviously another attempt to fish merit.
A calculated attempt or not, I see a good initiative been executed to its letter.

When you see people doing positive for their locals, appreciate and encourage them. It could only spawn more of this and the local people would be enlightened as well as delighted that they are being cared for, loved and remembered.

That’s why, I think OP has done a great job at this one, taking into consideration the aims to be archived and how to loudly and yet silently pass a message to a young generation that would be willing and ready to accept the change that is to come and build on that change for a positive society.

Nice one OP.
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: March 02, 2024, 05:42:41 PM
Liverpool match against Nottingham forest was so interesting it wasn't an easy ride for Liverpool but however they finally won by 1 goals ofcourse three points has been achieved.
A single goal in the plus 9 minutes for the league leaders in what I and I believe it goes the way for most of us, in what we could have expected to be an easy win turned out to be a stand threatening performance. That’s not a smooth game though they dominated and managed to win but it wasn’t anything smooth. Their position as league leaders could have easily slipped off them. I didn’t see them winning this one from how the game have treaded but, Nunez to the rescue.

Spurs on the other hand was nothing short of impressive. Coming from a 1 goal down to beat Crystal Palace by 3 goals to 1, that’s just what is expected of them. It’s a game that they should win and they finally did it late for themselves.
366  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Another alternative on: March 02, 2024, 05:15:15 PM
The recent developments that has led to the controversy in binance P2P for Nigerians is very unfortunate because I know that binance is the most preferred exchange by Nigerians but however, when one door closes another opens so @ legendary Charles-tim, do you know any reliable exchange with higher rates that one can use to make p2p transactions?
Kucoin, Bybit, OKX, HTX MEXC and many other exchanges have centralized P2P.

There are decentralized exchanges also for privacy people https://kycnot.me/
E no Dey strange say, for government to creep there way into Cryptocurrency, them go start am with the exchanges as, these exchanges that are widely used are centralized and anything within that system of operation is liable to regulations. Na why, person no gats let go of en skepticism based on certain policies way government pass to promote cryptocurrency awareness and acceptance. E fit turn out anytime say na to bait you them Dey do and later, them go collate the data them don get to use sanction person and give certain verdicts.

No need to be shaken with Binance, other options Dey out there, it’s a matter of familiarity and e possible say, the more this Dey happen, e go push people towards a more decentralized exchange for our matters.
367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this ever happened to you as a gambler? on: March 02, 2024, 05:00:44 PM
What could cause a gambler to place a bet to the extent that he no longer has money to pay for the games he played?
It’s simple, the hope that you could come by a big win later on in the game but the chances that this might ever come to be is so slim. I have had to see this happen many at times and the people I always blame when this happens is the gambling agents. This is the agent having to bring familiarity into the gambling business, noting some gamblers to be credit worthy and others to be not. This shouldn’t be the case for gambling. A gambler who is credit gambling is one that could be seen as an addict or someone who is just desperate and doesn’t know when or how to call it a day.
The chances that such loss would be recovered is difficult and should be avoided. You get to pay as you play, easy and safe for everyone.
It’s just embarrassing that some gamblers do this and am sure they always get there bunch in full.
368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: March 02, 2024, 04:46:46 PM
It seems Chelsea would be beaten away, what a terrible team. After taking the lead in the first half, controlled most of the game, they came in to conceive a goal early in the second half and not quite long, conceive yet another goal. This was supposedly a win for them but, they might have to settle for a draw. Their mistake was letting Brentford get ahead of them in the second half.
Nottingham Forest have done a great job in holding Liverpool down to a draw. This might not be the Liverpool squad that might be very terrifying but, it’s a team that has produced results for Klopp lately and not having to beat Nottingham Forest in this fixtures is a big loss to there position as league leaders.
369  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why we need to stay vigilant on: March 01, 2024, 11:59:01 PM
The better question here is, why shouldn't you why wouldn't you stay vigilant when you've got something to loose. It's only a foolish person or someone that doesn't care so much about what they've accumulated over the time. You are your own bank here and it doesn't give room for errors or mistakes,it's non refundable and the least error can cost you a lot.
Meanwhile,  in times like this when Bitcoin price is soaring high, every scammer is on the lookoutfor loopholes and what they could get. It brings to mind the importance of security and mot having to compromise on any step in the way.

371  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto's netwnwa1rth ever being rated? on: March 01, 2024, 11:11:31 PM
How you rate the net worth of someone you don't even know, it doesn't work that way. Any ratings you give would be inaccurate as your most likely going to do your ratings based on what ever wallet the figure has been associated with before which wouldn't be all the figure has fit as possibly, there would be wallets that wasn't disclosed to the public and those too belongs to the figure.

Again, net worth isn't restricted to Bitcoin hodlings alone. There are very much properties, businesses and other life properties/belongings to be considered in this context.

Still, it doesn't do you any good knowing either.
372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling still pays regardless of our losses on: February 28, 2024, 11:30:21 PM
As funny as this might seem, it’s true!
Mostly, we coin our minds to center on the losses, the demerits that is attached to the system and yet, we never leave it, we don’t wish for it to be put to a stop and that’s because, we know it actually pays.

It’s just gamblers being greedy and aiming way too high with pennies. You can minimize risk by reducing the number of games in your accumulation bet and play with some substantial amount. Ensure it’s not something you would be a cry baby over should you loss though, there ain’t any compensation for losses in this business. It’s just how the game goes!

There would be losses but, there are winnings as well and congrats on OP. You took good bets and it paid off.
373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆 The Emirates FA Cup - Season 2023/2024 on: February 28, 2024, 11:12:13 PM
Chelsea managed to scrape a win with a goal from Connor Gallagher to make it 3-2 in the 90th minute of regular time. Forest vs Man United, United took the lead in the dying minutes of regular time as well with Casemiro scoring in the 89th min. While Liverpool are heading towards a 2-0 win against Southampton, Southampton looked threatening but 2 goal lead should be comfortable win for Liverpool.

Happy with the Liverpool 3-0 win against Southampton considering the fact that Southampton dominated the first half. It was a miracle that Liverpool didn't go behind in the first half. Iirc, one of Southampton shot even hit the post and bounced out.
Klopp is gradually having to sell us his youth team to be equal to the task and as well, introducing them to some senior football. So far, they’ve not been any disappointing. They are taking up the challenge, gaining confidence and scoring goals. They did beat Chelsea over the week and now, they’ve won yet another spectacular game. Klopp is sure making good use of his time left at the club and his sure enjoying it.

Liverpool already have a trophy, they are at the top of the EPL table and still stands a better contender in the FA Cup. Nice one Klopp even with the lots of injury in his first team.
374  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prospects on: February 28, 2024, 10:55:07 PM
What are the limits of Bitcoin’s rise... and is it a strong and consistent rise... and what are the most prominent implications of this rise and its most prominent results?
If you’re looking for consistency, then Bitcoin market isn’t the place to look. The market or any market at all is one that doesn’t grow to infinity, it’s got to have some corrections.
What do you think would be the case should Bitcoin or any other market keep growing without a pause or drop at some point. People would just come in to take what they want and leave and that’s it. This could mean the end of it all but no, Bitcoin isn’t like that and the pump you see today shouldn’t entice you much. The market would drop at some point and weak hands would be forced out, it’s a known fact.
The truth is, it would still rise so, you’ve got to have a clear vision and the necessary strategy to approach the market in other to archive set goals. You don’t have that, then you ain’t ready though, you could buy and hodl while, you learn.
375  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: How to survive this hard time for Naija on: February 28, 2024, 10:42:07 PM
For all the points way you raise, 1, 2 and 7 are the most concrete to the situation because, I no go see person way Dey struggle, still you go enter market and not negotiate price. That kind person no be person way Dey struggle with economy naw and you no go even Dey see that kind person for market, na send e go send person.

When you Dey talk about Solar and buying items in bulk, Omo, this one no be watin concern person way Dey struggle o, buying in bulk keh. All these gats come into play if this na advice for a common Nigerian way Dey struggle but Omo, e no really touch ground for struggling person. Best thing, get stable job/income, double, triple or get plenty source, fine health care, chop food and budget how to run your life in years. Months no Dey serve again!
376  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: Nation wide strike on: February 28, 2024, 10:31:55 PM
Why should a president (former president Buhari) advice Nigerians to go for farming? That is not good. You can see how congested people in many cities in Nigeria are. If things works rightly, you will see how what the former president said is very wrong. He even said it when herdsmen cattle were led to people's farm by the herdsmen to destroy people's crops.
It’s just how we’ve been programmed to think, that farming is the only option for Africans and Nigerians, to produce food and cash crops that would be shipped across the whole nations. Meanwhile, the world have had a shift from having to sell some ground products that takes months and some years to produce into, having to sell ideas and digitalized items.

What stops we in this part of the world from going into tech and having a technology of our own that we could sell to the world. Yeah, these crops are a necessity but, we don’t have to shift from the path the world is heading. Let them take a pause and pursue technology too.
377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you are not to gamble. on: February 27, 2024, 11:40:31 PM
👉👉when you are in need of money urgently
Some people gamble the most when they are in need of urgent money. They use the little in their account to gamble believe they can double the money in no time through gambling to do what they want to do. This most times go wrong making them to lose the little they should have save for that purpose
Tell this to a struggling guy and you just might be met with a whole different ideology.

Gambling has served as the hope of a common guy. It’s not exactly the hope but somehow, it tricks the common man to think so. To feel that there is always something on the way, just after placing that bet, you believe your going to win, it’s just you having to wait a few rounds, few hours, a day a week, depending on what period your bet is supposed to run through.

So when you find people about this ideology, it’s hard for you not to imagine them gambling and when would you find them gambling, when they don’t have enough to go with and hopes for an increment.
You just have to realize when gambling isn’t doing the best for you, when it’s not best for you to gamble and you just don’t.
378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆 The Emirates FA Cup - Season 2023/2024 on: February 27, 2024, 10:55:03 PM
I think that most of us expected easy game for City, but damn, 2:6 was difficult to predict. And 5 goals of Haaland, damn, I just don't know what to say.
Was surprised that Bournemouth were heavy favoured vs Leicester by bookmakers. But when I saw their squad, it's all clear - Foxes gave priority to Championship and promotion to EPL. Despite it, game went to extra time and Leicester even took a lead.
And Newcastle didn't managed win against quite weak Championship side Blackburn in regular time and game went to another ET.
I only realized later in the game on how Bournemouth wasn’t creating enough chances neither were they having those dangerous attacking moments to decide on whom was to qualify. I even had to gamble it in the ending 5minutes of regular time and I lost, lol!
Still, you could see the tempo of the game drastically changed after the Iheanacho substitution. He wasn’t very attacking but, dropping those slide passes to create something spectacular for his team mates. Was more of a team player today than someone seeking personal glory and he got the assist he so sort for.
What a great goal it was, worthy of a decider and with that in the extra time, they sent Bournemouth out of the FA cup.

Manchester City on the other hand made Luton seem like such a terrible team. Just minutes after the kickoff, E. Haaland had his first and it was none stopping him afterwards. 5 goals and 5 assist from a single player, come on. Luton was just that bad to let this happen!
379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who was Satoshi Nakamoto? on: February 27, 2024, 10:41:48 PM
If you don't know, Satoshi Nakamoto used to post his real name and address in Bitcointalk.

1, 2, and 4 exist in the staff forum. 3 was permanently deleted at some point (it must have contained Satoshi's real name and address).
If Satoshi himself posted his real name and address on a public forum within the community, that means someone here still knows who he is and if he is still alive or not.
What if the guy in the comment section of the reddit post, the one who consider himself OG member of the forum, knows that Nick is Satoshi? Kinda interesting tbh.
These are some interesting revelation especially, the quote from Theymos about a forum section having some posts and the possibility of some identity revealing text.
It might be possible that this was the case with the fact that, this was the early days of the innovation with it still looking to gain prominence in the digital world and finance at the time.

Even still, I have doubts as Satoshi Nakamoto was well aware of most, if not all of the reasons that constituted the failure of the early digital currency projects, well enough to prioritize safety, privacy and security on all ends, not just for the human entity’s sake but for the future of Bitcoin itself.
380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many times we will make the same mistake? - History repeats Again & Again! on: February 27, 2024, 10:28:53 PM
Let us see if someone would have invested
ten years ago,
Can we categorically call this over a decade mistake?
Bitcoin have got just a little above a decade on its existence and with that been the case, it’s too soon to consider this to be some periodic error. Perhaps a more short term approach based on the halving would have been appropriate.
Even with that still, a decade comparison between what would have been a possible expectation from these fields of investment is still an interesting and teaching moment on how opportunities aren’t been taken.

Meanwhile, I might understand why you don’t really have a statistics to prove on real estate but, it would have been interesting to find one.
Even so, you wouldn’t find a $1000 real estate investment that would be very promising in 10years. It’s really rear to have that and you must be real informed to have that sort of investment or perhaps just caught up with luck.

When it comes to Bitcoin,
It’s a whole different story. All you need is to buy and hodl. It’s periodically through the halving and in its short time beat imaginations and what is obtainable in any field of investment. What stops people from doing proper research to have a sense of security and pick up a Bitcoin investment. It’s an asset and currency, get it while it’s still accruing to itself values, you ain’t late.
