Barcelona doesn’t deserve to be on the list, in my opinion, because they are not in good shape.
People who think Barcelona is strong definitely a Barcelona fans that can't judge something base on objectivity, similar to Manchester United fans. Tongue

Kevin De Bruyne is a very important player for the team and Manchester City are lucky to have him back in training. We can say that it was a generally bad season for Barcelona. Even if we see Guardiola come to Barcelona as a coach, I don't think anything will change because Barcelona is problematic in other aspects. Without improving the financial situation, they do not have much chance for long-term victories.
Barcelona is a failed team after Messi's left for Inter Miami, the socios aka Barcelona's supporters need to sell their team to the rich person. So they will have money to rebuild the team by signing popular players.
362  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Interest is the common business in today's world? on: January 23, 2024, 02:40:38 PM
Usury (/ˈjuːʒəri/)[1][2] is the practice of making unethical or immoral loans that unfairly enrich the lender. The term may be used in a moral sense—condemning taking advantage of others' misfortunes—or in a legal sense, where an interest rate is charged in excess of the maximum rate that is allowed by law.

It's really surprising many people didn't understand the difference between usury and interest. Currently FED interest rates 5.5%, which mean if you ask a loan from any institutional or person, they shouldn't charge more than 5.5% (if you live in US, so check your own interest rate in your country).

Simple, if you don't want to pay interest, just completely avoid to take a loan regardless what condition or situation that happen to you. Wink

There are several rumors stating that Mourinho will not leave Serie A because there will be meeting between the president of Napoli, Aurelio De Laurentiis and Mourinho and of course this will discuss the offer to become Napoli coach and replace Mazzarri.
Well, I believe the rumor will comes true because Walter Mazzarri didn't bring anything and Napoli was willing to pay 8 Million Euros for Conte, while Mourinho's salary in Roma is 10 Million Euros. The difference is just 2 Million Euros, Mourinho can use this advantage to revenge what Roma's management did to him.

Manchester City will need to continue their winning streak if they want to regain the top spot in the points table. Otherwise, it will not be possible for City to go to the top of the table. Because at the moment, the performance of City's main opponent, Liverpool, is very consistent. Mohamed Salah is injured. It is not known when he will return from injury. On February 1 and 4, Liverpool are going to face Premier League's two giants team Chelsea and Arsenal. It will be very difficult for Liverpool to win these two matches without Salah. So I think if City can keep up their winning streak now then it might be possible for City to take the top spot in the table.
Dude, are you drunk?

Liverpool was able to beat Arsenal in Emirates Stadium without Salah, while Chelsea is currently struggling, they can't even beat Middlesbrough aka a championship team.

Manchester City might able to overtake Liverpool, but they're also have a problem as Ederson Moraes is injured.

I'd say both Liverpool and Manchester City are equal.

Buying star players and building great squad depth is part of the process for a team that wants to win the title. PSG did it right and they have gone through that stage, but that doesn't necessarily make them successful in the Champions League.

So far PSG have dominated Ligue 1 and that is part of their success in building squad depth so far. The Champions League is a difficult competition, so it is not easy to win even if the squad is good. However, PSG qualified and fought in the Champions League final several seasons ago even though in the end they lost 1-0 to Bayern Munich. It was part of an experience they must not repeat if they qualify for the finals next season.
But they sell Messi, Neymar, Verratti and Ramos are the sign they're not really want to win the Champions League. They only sign mediocre players in this season and they didn't sign a top coach, so I don't expect they will go anywhere in this season.

Mental could also become one of the factor, since they can't become a champion, it might make them think they're not really deserved in this league and they feel inferior.
367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: January 19, 2024, 02:24:36 PM
The big problem with De Rossi for Rome is one, and that problem is, if he has a bad start you dont have so much time to recover the phase and recover places, because Rome situation right now is also not so good, if you start to lose more terrain and get out of this cup, your season is gonna be a complete failure and maybe without also De Rossi at the end of the season and searching again for a new coach.
I believe this will happen, I mean what you can expect for one month with a new coach? it's not even enough to reshuffle the players, they will use a same lineup and probably using a different strategy. But a strategy need to be trained for many many times, so I don't expect any big change with De Rossi.

368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 19, 2024, 01:20:13 PM
Of course, if Mohamed Salah suffers a serious injury and has to be out for a long time, it is very likely that it will have a big impact on the performance of the Liverpool team, but up to now there has been no confirmation of the injury suffered by Mohamed Salah.
This season is still quite long and anything is possible, so we shouldn't just focus on one player. Now what is clear is that Man City's performance has returned to better after KDB recovered from his injury, which means the competition at the top of the Premier League standings is getting fiercer.
It's really bad if Salah's injury takes a long time to recover, it will affect Liverpool performance so bad, this will make Manchester City high likely to win the Premier League. Although Liverpool can won in their recent match, but without Salah they're not really strong.

Manchester City is only need De Bruyne to perform good, Haaland can be replaced with other striker.

Second chance will be given if the sin committed by any forum member reputable or not is just minor. But if they commit scamming, extortion or any big sin done for sure nothing to retrieve back and we see also a lot of cases happening here.
Sin doesn't have correlation with negative feedback, negative feedback is used for scammer, so you're actually agree a scammer doesn't deserve a second chance.

  • If you believe someone is a scammer, or someone is likely to scam, that deserves negative feedback. Please provide evidence.
  • If you really hate someone and he's a terrible troll, that does not deserve negative feedback.

Quote
Also merit is just a number and this is just used to rank up so if people doesn't have plan to join on any campaigns since they are fine with current status since they are still earning good figures then they should be fine and don't worry about earning merit here.
It's true merit just a number, but most users active in this forum only to join a campaign.

Now I'm curious, which negative tagged user with low merit and have a successful service in this forum?
370  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: -on trust issues on: January 19, 2024, 09:16:46 AM
If not, those trust ratings do not truly define the person. There is always a second chance given to everyone, and there is a benefit of doubt if the person, after receiving all those bad ratings, still continues to do some good in the community.

It might be hard to trust them when it comes to financial deals, but they can still make some good names even with those negative ratings by being productive in any way that they can, and people can confirm the value of their contribution.
Incorrect, the second chance is only happen for big user which has been trusted for long especially if you have a power e.g. DT1, gangs, earn merit regularly, have many positive feedback etc. If you're just an Average Joe who don't have anything, when you receive red tag, your career is over. Want to see the proof? you can open a new account and try to scam, then try to earn merit with that account.

Many merit sources or users don't like to meriting a negative tag account.
371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: January 18, 2024, 03:07:01 PM
Random pick our guess does not make us win neither does carefully selected games gives us winning, to me analysing games and matches draws us more closer to winning and the chances are very high than randomly picking. Although someone can be actually correct by picking randomly but the chance are very slime in my opinion, so the best is to give time and carefully make their analysis even as we often say that gambling is a game of probability but there are more chance of winning a well predicted matches than randomly picked.
Although I don't know the correlation between gamble with or without analyzing the match to forecast the result, but random picking is terrible idea. I can't imagine what's the fun with that, when you don't have any idea why you choose that.

Example there's a match Liverpool vs Manchester City, I randomly pick under 2.5 goals. I will be happy if I won, but before and during watching the match, there's no fun at all.

It would be very interesting if Madrid paid Haaland release clause, because we would see one of the PSG players who always flirts with Florentino become jealous. Of course with Bellingham, Haaland suitability is beyond doubt. Regarding Pep Guardiola, I think this has become an open secret where in the end Man City worries could come true. After all Pep Guardiola  has provided what Man City has never achieved. So there is no burden for him to leave at any time.
I believe Manchester City will treat Haaland very well, just like PSG treats Mbappe and it make Mbappe don't want to leave. However Real Madrid still have an another choice even they can't get either Haaland or Mbappe, it's Osimhen.

Napoli isn't a big team, they don't have a good amount of money if Osimhen insist to increase his salary. Napoli isn't a strong team too, they won in the last season, but they can't be consistent. While Real Madrid, they can pay high salary and they're one of strongest football team who tend to become champion.

Do you think the speed and cost of Btc transactions is prohibitive to daily spending use?

It would be more convenient for the users to arrive at the resort and exchange Btc for a local token that is quicker & cheaper.
They have mentioned their wallet https://www.pouch.ph/

Although I don't have experience with the wallet, but it seems the wallet is centralized and they use lightning network, so the transactions would be quick and cheap. I don't think they have "local token" their CBDC is under development and it's no longer Bitcoin Island if they promoting their own token instead of Bitcoin.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Instant Bitcoin on: January 18, 2024, 02:04:29 PM
I heard that BSV support to accept the coins without any confirmation, so the receiver can spend or use the coins without need to be confirmed. It's called as zero confirmation and it's not safe since the transaction prone to get double spend attack. It's instant, but not secure, do you think it's better than Bitcoin which not instant and completely secure?
375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 18, 2024, 01:47:51 PM
The three promoted teams this season Luton, Burnley and Sheffield are all in the relegation zone and I don't think they are all capable of competing in the EPL. I had hoped that one of them would immediately crawl to the middle or top position and at least provide a different color this season but it seems my expectations were too high. Burnley is a team to really watch out for because with coach Vincent Kompany they recorded impressive achievements previously in the Championship division and also became champions.

But when they realized they were in a place where hell existed and the EPL was not just any place they could conquer. I wonder if these three teams will return to the Championship next season and if that happens it is clear that what they are doing is in vain to be at their current level. Sad
Don't forget they were the best three Championship' teams in the last season, if the best is still not able to compete against the Premier League' teams, I think there won't be any Championship can survive in Premier League.

They can only feel how the pressure when they playing in Premier League, sadly they will back to their path sooner or later.

Here we go, Suadi Arabia is spending money again. Now Renan Lodi (25 years old) has been brought in from Olympique Marseille. He is moving to Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League. There he plays together with many great names:  Ruben Neves, Neymar, Malcom or Kalidou Koulibaly. The transfer fee is 20 million euros. Al-Hilal now have 4 Brazilians and 3 of them have played for the Brazilian national team. So he will meet friends there that he already knows and if everything continues like this he will win the championship this year with Al-Hilal. So it is a good move for him.
Mostly the transfer from Europa league to Saudi Professional League makes the player career to end, but this is actually a good transfer for Lodi because he can get a trophy in Al Hilal. Marseille is a mediocre team, it's really hard to surpass PSG.

This place is a comfort zone for him since he can't play in a very competitive league.

Respected and? Is that enough if he cannot do better than Jose Mourinho? Lol I would love to see his experience in the coaching game. The management must be really inspired by Xabi Alonso, they also wanted to explore and work with a young coach, the season still has good number of weeks ahead, it's either they do better or go down sinking below.
There's a big difference between Xabi Alonso and De Rossi.

Xabi Alonso played in 4 top teams, while De Rossi only one.
Xabi Alonso brought Real Sociedad B from Primera Federación to La Liga2, while De Rossi make SPAL 2013's ranks go lower before he was joined.

It's really big mistake Roma's management want to trust him.

I was not wrong to not care about any message that send to my mail. Tongue

No, an email address is not required when creating a new wallet in Trust wallet.
Although it's not required, but the wallet is closed source and when you want to install the wallet, there's a description the apps will access bla bla bla and you need to check it in order to install the apps. So there's a possibility they can know the email address without need the user to submit it.
379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin EFTs are bad for Bitcoin as a decentralized digital currency. on: January 17, 2024, 01:46:18 PM
But without centralized exchanges and ETFs, would bitcoin be as popular and successful as it is today? It is true that centralized exchanges, ETFs will gradually make bitcoin more centralized, but on the other hand, it will make bitcoin more popular and accessible to everyone. I believe that any of us who are new to the market need the support of centralized exchanges. So it can be said that everything has its pros and cons, so we cannot criticize those who support centralized exchanges and ETFs. They also have their reasons when they support those things.
Wrong, do you think centralized exchanges and BlackRock don't have terms of service? every centralized entity always forbid some countries, they're not welcome for every people in this world.

The below Countries, and such other locations as designated by Binance from time to time, form the List of Prohibited Countries as described in Binance’s Terms of Use

Canada

Malaysia

Netherlands

United States

I'm aware there's Binance.us, so people who live on there can use this site. But, what about the people who live on those three countries? they need to use other sites. Instead of making it complicated, we have decentralized exchange or No KYC P2P which people can freely trade without need to worry about where they come from and their KYC.

He is still good enough to help a team for a few years, but now I deeply wonder whether he threw a great great career ending in the trash. Do you guys know that he was the captain of a now leading Liverpool and that he played 43 games in the season 2022/23 for his beloved club? Yes he was a substitute player, but he also made a lot of important games and was able to have such great moments in the last phase of his career. He then decided to leave and go for the money and now he isn't happy anymore and goes to Ajax, a club which can't really win anything this season.

What the heck did he think when he left Liverpool? Or does anyone know whether Liverpool wanted him to go?
Yeah it's really strange why he want to leave Al Ettifaq, it's not about money anymore, but it could be he's not comfortable with the weather or Al Ettifaq isn't nice to him. Even though Henderson is old, but he's still get selected to play in England's national team, so his performance is still good.

I find, this was the reason. But it's true he can't change and achieve something in Al Ettifaq because there are many good teams in SPL.

Henderson ended a 12-year stay at Liverpool last July to move to Saudi Arabia and in September, he defended his switch after widespread criticism, telling The Athletic in an exclusive interview that he wanted to “achieve something special and build a club and build the league”.
