361  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: my ether wallet can be hacked??/ on: February 19, 2018, 07:23:15 PM
You will lose your ETH/tokens only if you enter your private keys on a phishing site. MEW is just an client-side ETH interface/wallet, it doesn't stores your keys/data on a server. if you want to securely access your ETH then buy a hardware wallet or download MEW and run it locally[1].

362  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: searching for a loan of btc or USD on: February 19, 2018, 05:31:51 PM
I'm looking for a loan to work in real life for a short time at interest, can I get it here?
Do you have any collateral? this is not the section where you can request for a loan, you can request for a loan in lending section [1]. however without any collateral no one will lend you BTC or anything.

364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do u think about New bitcoin Hard fork Bitcoin Private? on: February 19, 2018, 11:03:08 AM
Another fork? Really?
I don't know anything about that fork, haven't seen any announcements so far.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2675257.0

i dont know i just seen today just wanna ask everyone in group is it true we will have free bitcoin private ?
If you have/hold BTC or ZCL in your personal wallet (when the snapshot is taken) then you'll be able to get BTCP for free by importing your private keys into BTCP wallet, distribution is 1:1. make sure you send your BTC to another address before exposing/importing your private keys to BTCP wallet.
365  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Wallet Suggestions? on: February 18, 2018, 06:50:11 PM
Exodus? Jaxx? MetaMask? BlockMarket? Online Hosted wallet that I pay for?

Id rather use an offline wallet but who can be trusted other then nobody? But if I had to trust someone?

Would you use an online wallet or a cold wallet? I was thinking to setup a wallet on a spare pc and take it offline?

I have alt coins? Just looking for opinions on what people have used?
I don't use online wallet and won't recommend using it. if you're seriously into bitcoin/altcoin, i'd say invest in a hardware wallet. buy ledger nano s it supports lot of altcoins[1] and offers the best security.

Out of curiosity, what's the most known/ trusted one that covers most altcoins? Thanks for the feedbacks
Afaik jaxx[1] supports tons of alts.

366  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Monitoring of new coins on: February 18, 2018, 06:11:42 PM
Which exchanges does your bot scans?

I would like to understand better what is the benefit of this group. I am interested to learn about trading some new coins but can you give a person like me some advice on how to learn from the bot. Is it an AI artificial intelligence bot or is it a group of traders who have knowledge and are gathering information about the new coins and their information etc? When I get some time I might come and join so I can see more in depth what this is all about, as it looks extremely interesting and I like to learn new things.
This group/channel alerts the members, when new trading pairs are listed on exchanges. the idea here is to make profit by buying the token/currency (in hope for it to get pumped). this may or may not work..

Telephone number?

Yikes!!! Shocked
Yep! Almost all gambling websites now want to see gamblers Telephone number...
Worst rule.... agree

Since you didn't reply to my follow-up post, I'll ask you this:

Can you show me 1 legitimate gambling website that requires a phone number?

I can name you 5 that don't.

You are an attempted scammer and the more you speak, the more it is obvious.
It's not his casino/site, he's just trying to get referrals from this thread/site. riobet is not a true bitcoin casino, that's why they ask for IDs. most of the sites like riobet recently adopted bitcoin.

Lol played for a while in demo mode and was able to reach 150 bits(easy mode), was fun! i'd like to suggest you to add more ways to sign up/sign in, facebook log-in doesn't seems to work out for all. perhaps add email sign up or other social logins.

we'll make it in next update
That's great! it seems you're only accepting bitcoin atm, perhaps you should add altcoins(most used/top ones). it might be good for the business, a lot of people play with altcoins these days. Wink

371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I've been robbed now I'm afraid to access my coins: how to proceed? on: February 16, 2018, 05:06:07 AM
Recently I purchased a large number of coins on an exchange and began to proceed to send them to a private wallet. I had $5000 stolen within about 20 minutes of my first deposit. I had followed the same procedure I have used for years without incident, downloading an offline generator, booting a machine with TAILS, creating a paper wallet, and depositing to it. I had thought this was fairly secure but now reading up on it I see how wrong I was.

Now I have several thousands more in various coins I have recently purchased sitting on the exchange where I bought them, and I am terrified of attempting to get them off the exchange and into wallets without getting stolen.

As I understand it, it is likely that there is malware on my machine deep in the BIOS or something which was capable of stealing the keys as they were generated.

I am sorely tempted to leave the coins in the exchange, since that has 2FA protection and, after all, it's the process of moving them that seems to be the biggest security risk, but everyone seems to agree that's a bad idea and I do hate the thought that a 3rd party is in control anyway. Can I please be advised on how I can safely get my coins into secure wallets? Thanks.

There is something wrong with this, you say you followed this for years and yet your coins were lost. Were you using it on a public wifi as many people have lost it using public wifi. Is your machine infected with viruses, have it checked. Did you get in touch with the exchange and seeked out as to how was this possible.

What's the exchange name, post your address of funds, and the address where funds went.
He's using TAILS(live version i believe), so chances of virus infection is very low. it's probably the offline keys generator that he used must've stolen the money. op can you share which offline generator were you using? sorry for your loss.
372  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Warning: CoinBase appears to be imploding in real time....unlink your accounts! on: February 15, 2018, 08:52:29 PM
Read someone got charged 50 times, that's crazy! how the hell they could let this happen, at least no one will lose their money, coinbase is working on refunding the wrong charges made.
373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Fees are low, use this opportunity to Consolidate your small inputs! on: February 15, 2018, 08:11:10 PM
Where's the 3 Sat per byte one? I see 112 (sorry, wanted to see where it was to get an estimate on transferring one piece of dust just to get it out of one of my wallets).
It currently even recommends 1 sat/byte. Fees vary depending on how long it takes to find a block, I'd say consolidate your "one piece of dust" with another input now. Pay about 800 sat fee, and wait.
It keeps fluctuating lol, currently it recommends 4 sat/byte. i've moved my bitcoins to segwit address as soon as it was implemented on trezor. Smiley  thanks for the thread anyways, should be helpful to newbies.

I wanted to share this good tool(maybe add it in op?) (https://estimatefee.com), helps in estimating within how many blocks the tx will get confirmed, also calculates fees.
374  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Market to ath again on: February 15, 2018, 07:26:58 PM
What is your take on the market conditions? Do you think we are seeing this bullish trend (from the bottom) keep going to ath again, or do you think resistance will hit the uptrend back again?

What price levels are you watching?

I am watching 12k, but I am very bullish on the market right now.
Don't expect bitcoin to hit ath so soon, it's going take time to reach ath again or new ath, probably in april we'll see it. anyways i'm glad i bought the dip, it was the last opportunity to buy bitcoins below or at $6k i guess.
375  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Binance fee on: February 15, 2018, 07:01:28 PM
Greetings!
Recently I sent 399 trx from binance to MEW. I only got 198 trx now in mew. So i am guessing the rest were Binance fee??

Yes. Binance is famous for very high withdrawal fees. There was even a huge camapign on reddit to get them to reduce the fees and Binance just blew them off and said they weren't going to make any changes.

A lesson learnt - check the withdrawal fees as well as the trading fees when you sign up for an exchange.
You probably haven't seen hitbtc's withdrawal fees, their fees is way higher than binance or bittrex. it seems bittrex has lower fees on token withdrawals.  binance should follow the bittrex way to reduce the fees.
376  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bistler block accounts without presenting evidence,They are stealing the money o on: February 15, 2018, 03:49:27 PM
How much do you have on your account when it got blocked? I do not think they are scamming anyone even if they only have small balance on their account. You should take this as some serious matters when you said they are scamming you
Do you even contact them and ask why they blocked your account? They must have their reason to block it. And what you saying about ip does not really matter to them, as long as you are not abusing their faucet then it will not be a big problem
His account most probably is banned due to faucet abuse related IP, why would a gambling site block/lock a deposing player? op if you didn't abuse faucet then you'll get your deposit/money back. i've seen a problem like this solved smoothly. contact their support!
377  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to participate in an ICO for a US citizen? on: February 14, 2018, 08:00:52 PM
Are there any ways to participate?
Many ICOs now have KYC procedures so it is becoming not enough to just use VPN..
Americans are excluded from this party..Are there any roundabout ways?
I think there's no way to bypass KYC. although you could try posting offers in marketplace(altcoin) to get someone to buy tokens for you from an ICO for a good fee. you would have to escrow the amount of BTC/ETH you want to invest(plus the fee) with a trusted member here (you can find many trusted members offering escrow service), then the person that accepts your offer will invest and give you the tokens(you'd have to make sure the token is not fake by checking the contract address etc..) and then funds will be released to him.

Now would you go through all this to invest in a ICO?

Why people deleting important email nowadays. It will serve as future reference.

Anyways, you didn't able to backup your wallet via Paper Wallet that contains your private key?

Looks like you need to accept that your balance was totally doomed now. No way to contact to them unless someone from them will be generous to help you in their Reddit page.
Yeah, there's no contact information. op sorry to say this but your money/doge is gone. move on and learn from your mistake. always keep a backup of important things like seeds/private keys.

Here's what i found in their tos.
